1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: December 31, 2015, 08:24:29 PM
Withdrew the rest of my ANC from Cryptsy yesterday. Still waiting on the transaction to complete though. I know some are saying 'blockchain issue' but what kind of issue are we talking here?

I guess for now I'm going to hold what I got and keep mining for the winter (keeps my room warm Grin).

I'd like to add some ASICs to enhance my mining efforts. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm still mining with 2x7950's but this is becoming less effective.

I have a feeling there's going to be an update sometime in the future that brings interest back into the coin and given the scarcity I'd like to have a nice little stash just in case. If nothing happens oh well but as this next BTC mania begins I bet a lot of altcoins are going to be taking advantage of the hype like what has happened before...

You will most likely never see your coins again.
Withdrawals of ANC from Cryptsy are not visible on blockchain and never reach your wallet.

I feel it is time complaint is made at some viable authority where Cryptsy or their parent company operate. I have 1300 ANC which i am not willing to "lose", or rather, get stolen by.

The days when people called Cryptsy shady must be long gone by now. We are over the borders of fraudulent. I Believe it's about time people start getting together and using whatever legal means to obtain what is rightfully theirs.

I have been in a way working towards this, the beggining at least, thus :

If this does not get fixed by tomorrow i will start posting to youtube, dailymotion and all the other social media all my videos proving that many of the cryptsy "wallet problems" coins actually have perfectly working wallets, videos of comparison.

Then i will start contacting all the people on the forum with cryptsy "problems" - THEFT , to get together and do this as an army, that cannot be ignored.

I will tell you this : whatever cryptsy is stealing from you today, with their "prices' which they MADE by disabling functionality of perfectly working COINS, so that they can trade in their own favour, will worth at least ten times more in a very short time once they are traded without fraudulent backend operation by the so called exchange

If you have any evidence of their black-hat tactics, like failed transactions and unfinished withdrawals of otherwise perfectly working coins, contact me with PM and leave an e-mail adress and also try to record these facts with more than screenshots in possible

I for one have tested ANC ( Anoncoin ), UTC ( Ultracoin ) , ELC ( Elacoin ) - these are only a few coins that have perfectly working wallets and networks. On Cryptsy ANC dissappears into the void, as you've said in your post, the withdrawals never reaching the wallet.

In the meanwhilee UTC and ELC withdrawals are disabled for more than 3 MONTHS, while i have videos proving perfectly withdrawals and transactions for UTC and a well connected peered wallet for ELC.
THUS CRYPTSY has been witholding other people's money for more than 3 months using false motives.

Good idea, spread the word! Send your video links to the news publications like newsbtc.com, cointelegraph.com, cryptocoinnews.com, and coindesk.com and see if they will help you publicize your proofs
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which altcoin would be bitcoins likely replacement ? on: December 31, 2015, 06:28:17 AM
The main issue i see with bitcoin is the mining centralization, Whatever replacement will/should have a mining solution that does not involve asics.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: December 31, 2015, 06:20:35 AM
I think that BBQCoin will make a comeback once they convince an actual BBQ chain to accept it as currency!

Absolutely!  No doubt about it.  BBQCoin is the future!

Just imagine... if a BBQ restaurant chain started accepting BBQCoin they could replace their charcoal grills with ASIC-heated grills to secure their payments.  Think of the amount of wasted energy saved by cooking all that pork instead of just dispersing it into the atmosphere.  It's delicious and eco-friendly!

Dude you are a genius, lets start a chain Cheesy
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash Transaction Time - From Your Experiences on: December 31, 2015, 06:17:36 AM
Using InstantX its about 1 or 2 seconds. With Dash Evolution it will be even faster...

How much faster can it get bro? Do they have a plan to get my transactions processed before i send them 0_o
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about the release of Darkcoin/Dashcoin on: December 31, 2015, 06:12:51 AM

x/dark/dash was never about privacy or instant transactions or distributed consensus

Oh really ?

I've been following this project for almost a year and a half now and as far as I can see that's ALL it's about. The dev team to little else than pursue those precise technical objectives to the exclusion of almost all other priorities.

Maybe you just haven't noticed.

There are people that care about some ideological principle and there are people that care about making money. Dash devs fall into the later category. That is not to say that they are unable to make valuable contributions, but for edduffield its a means to an end. Ive been on this forum on and off since 2013 and i remember when the whole instamine thing happened, i remember the first darkcoin testnets and i also recall distinctly when Evan announced that he was reducing supply from 84mil to whatever it is now. This specific action was pretty fucked up and points to the crux of my criticism of dash.

That is not to say that it wont be successful, lots of successful bullshit in the world a lot less principled than the dash community. I support dash trading on my exchange.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Noteable altcoins? on: December 31, 2015, 05:37:25 AM
Notable and sidechain worthy are not the same, some notable firsts,

Namecoin - the first appcoin, first altcoin ever
Tenebrix - the first altcoin to use scrypt
Ixcoin  - first premine
Freicoin - first to use demurraging
Litecoin - largest altcoin
Peercoin - first proof of stake
Megacoin - new difficulty algo
Anoncoin - the first privacycoin
Quark - the first chained algo coin
Auroracoin - the first country coin
Bytecoin - first cryptonote coin
Huntercoin - first gamified coin
Bitshares - first tiered membership coin
Dash - first with instant transactions
Etherium - first turing complete
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question about the release of Darkcoin/Dashcoin on: December 30, 2015, 06:02:32 PM

Is this correct, or have I been misled?

If it is correct , did Evan Duffield ever explain why, the release time was moved?

Yes, this is correct.

And no, he never explained the early launch.

I'm just trying to think through what might happen if Dash ever tried to become well known or widely used. I imagine if it ever started to become widely used Evan would have to explain what went on

I doubt it will ever get that far, but if it did, Wall Street media would have a field day grilling him on the instamine and the early launch.

Wallstreet is on board with any and all shady premine shit, just look at ripple. Its a nice thought though, wallstreet as a bastion of honest companies and hard working financial institutions with the interest of the common man at heart.

Intresting note, before Even started workong xcoin aka darkcoin aka dash, he was a stock broker.

x/dark/dash was never about privacy or instant transactions or distributed consensus, it was and continues to be about the bottom line, expect the dash team to do whatever is trendy and hip in the altcoin scene as they suck their way to the top of the foodchain

imo DogecoinDark is fine, no need for rebranding
1090  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Human Resources" discussion on: December 30, 2015, 07:52:23 AM
I don't think the legality really matters... We openly discuss dark web markets here, so why not humanresources?

With that said, I've been thinking that HR might be a honeypot, what would be an argument against this? Any evidence?

SO you're not upset about their signature campaign practices, you're upset or questioning the actual business they run, providing jobs, etc.?

I think you should let the market handle this...bad businesses end up going out of business. However, it would be interesting to get a report from someone on their success or failure using the service.

Providing jobs for who though?
If i was looking to hire someone for to build a darknet application i want a service where people list their resumes and had a reputation system so i could see some choices. sending this guy a pm on "thebox" is sketchy as fuck. i doubt they are hiring for themselves,
1091  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Human Resources" discussion on: December 30, 2015, 07:25:32 AM
I am suspicious of this. I have asked around within the darknet community, 1 person I know has applied and got an generic, possibly automated response back.

The main issues are:

1) Lack of Professionalism - their website is shitty and they want people to use thebox which is some shitty generic onionland messaging system. They do not have a publicly listed email contact or persona for managing the website.

2) Overwhelming shadiness. Total lack of transparency, nobody knows who is running it or anybody that has used it. Its unclear who they are hiring for. They dont have an FAQ or any interactive public outreach on any forum. The only information i could find is on there website.

People that operate darknet enterprises, like to have reputations, outreach and other stuff to let people know they are legit. Not sure about these guys. It would make more sense to have a listing page where people could post resumes and hiring opportunities then intrested parties could browse and hire select from a list of choices, with a built in escrow system. They manner in which they are operating is murky, inefficient and a bit n00bish. Its not a hiring platform its just a busybody trying to make a cut off a networking position. in the onionland early days you had people like this but now the scene is a bit more developed. Although who knows, it might become a very successful service.

Its a good idea, I'll probably end up launching a jobs marketplace on the ExchangeD.I2P platform later in 2016
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategies for dealing with trading bots? on: December 30, 2015, 12:26:15 AM
Bot are just like normal traders just more mechanical, they dont need to take breaks and they don't make mistakes. Build your own bot. Any trading strategy you have you can build a bot to outperform you.

Except a few weeks ago I did a test withdraw of 36 ANC and, while it took a day or two, came through fine. Either way not sure what your point is? You've offered nothing to answer my questions and are only promoting defeatism. I know you shill for the I2P exchange which I'd rather use anyway, but I gotta get my coins there to begin with so it isn't like there's a better plan for me to follow now is there?

Anyway If another day or two goes by without my withdrawal I'll start to be concerned but for now I don't care about how you think 'I'll never see my coins'. At the moment I'm only interested in what kind of ASIC options are around, what exactly are the 'blockchain problems' that are being mentioned, and also curious about future plans?

Hey Toxic,

Not sure if you read the earlier posts but cryptsy is shutting down anoncoin trading permanently. Withdrawal all your coins if/while you can.

Future Plans: https://wiki.anoncoin.net/Development_schedule Meeh is working on issue #90,
Once we get patches for #90 and and #91 we will release a new anoncoin version and do a hardfork

Original (i2p dev) is working on i2pd integration, Gnosis is still around and is working with Ssaug on zerocoin integration.

P.S. The I2P exchange is awesome Smiley this is an opportunity for more people to start using it
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy wants to remove ANC! on: December 30, 2015, 12:08:24 AM
There wont be problems with the cryptsy in the future, just to get all out:

NOTICE: ANC markets are now "CLOSED" due to unresolved issues with the coins blockchain. All ANC funds will need to be removed from cryptsy and we will work on getting them confirmed on the blockchain as quickly as possible. Withdrawals will stay open indefinitely but we can not guarantee the transactions will confirm quickly due to blockchain issues.

Yep, good time to start using ExchangeD.I2P Smiley
Cant say you didn't see it coming

When the Blockchain is damaged how is it useful to use i2p, how does this save ANC ?

There is no block-chain damage, ExchangeD.I2P has not had any anoncoin issues, cryptsy people are just stupid and/or incompetent.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE superSLEEPERS : good Alt Coins going unnoticed : [Long Term Investments] on: December 29, 2015, 01:20:50 AM

A, ANONCOIN (ANC) 27434sat/coin*
- active development team
- full I2P integration
- working I2P exchange
- almost ready 0.9.6 wallet
- very low total amount of coins
- once they finish zerocash....boom
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227287.0

anoncoin does not have its own exchange, it uses exchangeD - no anon dev presently according to thread?

ExchangeD.i2p accepts several coins but it was kind of built specifically for the anoncoin and i2p community. also the main ExchangeD.I2P dev (me) is an active anoncoin contributor.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mirrax's HIGH RISK altcoin investment guide for 2016 on: December 28, 2015, 03:19:39 AM
im thinking a major anoncoin pump in jan/feb

As soon as they fix the 2 more bugs they will release a new version update with a innovative difficulty algorithm, its worth at least 2x-3x pump because of current low market cap, also craptsy stopped Anoncoin trading which automatically increases the price 35%. Because of craptsy withdrawal drama the price has been deflated. Its only uphill from here Smiley

Original is working on i2pd integration and Gnosis will finish Zerocoin (eventually). To the moon!

I remember when the price of this coin rose to 5$.
But it seems those days are in the past..

"GroundRod our Chief Developer is no more, in fact he may be actually dead... but because he is anonymous we cannot be sure although it is 4 months he disapeared."

worth noting.

Go hang yourself on nearby tree you stupid bag of shit!
Thank you.

Hold on, that might be a little extreme of a response.

Sometimes developers go missing, even the main developer of bitcoin went missing a few years ago and nobody knows where he is or if he is still alive. The import thing is that other people step up and help continue what he started.

Meeh was on irc a few days ago and said that he would help out with patching the few bugs that are holding us back from the next release, and we can find another dev it is 2 main issues that need resolving.

https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/issues/91
https://github.com/Anoncoin/anoncoin/issues/90

Gnosis is still active and brought in a new dev Ssuag, and they are committed to integrating trustless zerocoin as planned, and Original is working on i2pd integration. We have devs, just these 2 specific issues are a pain in the ass.

what shocks me more on this forum is how many constantly confuse 'price' with 'value'  Angry

or worse still, thinking that scarcity somehow make the currency a whole more valuable
