Withdrew the rest of my ANC from Cryptsy yesterday. Still waiting on the transaction to complete though. I know some are saying 'blockchain issue' but what kind of issue are we talking here? I guess for now I'm going to hold what I got and keep mining for the winter (keeps my room warm  ). I'd like to add some ASICs to enhance my mining efforts. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm still mining with 2x7950's but this is becoming less effective. I have a feeling there's going to be an update sometime in the future that brings interest back into the coin and given the scarcity I'd like to have a nice little stash just in case. If nothing happens oh well but as this next BTC mania begins I bet a lot of altcoins are going to be taking advantage of the hype like what has happened before... You will most likely never see your coins again. Withdrawals of ANC from Cryptsy are not visible on blockchain and never reach your wallet. I feel it is time complaint is made at some viable authority where Cryptsy or their parent company operate. I have 1300 ANC which i am not willing to "lose", or rather, get stolen by. The days when people called Cryptsy shady must be long gone by now. We are over the borders of fraudulent. I Believe it's about time people start getting together and using whatever legal means to obtain what is rightfully theirs. I have been in a way working towards this, the beggining at least, thus : If this does not get fixed by tomorrow i will start posting to youtube, dailymotion and all the other social media all my videos proving that many of the cryptsy "wallet problems" coins actually have perfectly working wallets, videos of comparison.Then i will start contacting all the people on the forum with cryptsy "problems" - THEFT , to get together and do this as an army, that cannot be ignored. I will tell you this : whatever cryptsy is stealing from you today, with their "prices' which they MADE by disabling functionality of perfectly working COINS, so that they can trade in their own favour, will worth at least ten times more in a very short time once they are traded without fraudulent backend operation by the so called exchange
If you have any evidence of their black-hat tactics, like failed transactions and unfinished withdrawals of otherwise perfectly working coins, contact me with PM and leave an e-mail adress and also try to record these facts with more than screenshots in possible
I for one have tested ANC ( Anoncoin ), UTC ( Ultracoin ) , ELC ( Elacoin ) - these are only a few coins that have perfectly working wallets and networks. On Cryptsy ANC dissappears into the void, as you've said in your post, the withdrawals never reaching the wallet.
In the meanwhilee UTC and ELC withdrawals are disabled for more than 3 MONTHS, while i have videos proving perfectly withdrawals and transactions for UTC and a well connected peered wallet for ELC.
THUS CRYPTSY has been witholding other people's money for more than 3 months using false motives.

I've been following this project for almost a year and a half now and as far as I can see that's ALL it's about. The dev team to little else than pursue those precise technical objectives to the exclusion of almost all other priorities. Maybe you just haven't noticed. There are people that care about some ideological principle and there are people that care about making money. Dash devs fall into the later category. That is not to say that they are unable to make valuable contributions, but for edduffield its a means to an end. Ive been on this forum on and off since 2013 and i remember when the whole instamine thing happened, i remember the first darkcoin testnets and i also recall distinctly when Evan announced that he was reducing supply from 84mil to whatever it is now. This specific action was pretty fucked up and points to the crux of my criticism of dash. That is not to say that it wont be successful, lots of successful bullshit in the world a lot less principled than the dash community. I support dash trading on my exchange. |

Yes, this is correct. And no, he never explained the early launch. I'm just trying to think through what might happen if Dash ever tried to become well known or widely used. I imagine if it ever started to become widely used Evan would have to explain what went on I doubt it will ever get that far, but if it did, Wall Street media would have a field day grilling him on the instamine and the early launch. Wallstreet is on board with any and all shady premine shit, just look at ripple. With that said, I've been thinking that HR might be a honeypot, what would be an argument against this? Any evidence? SO you're not upset about their signature campaign practices, you're upset or questioning the actual business they run, providing jobs, etc.? I think you should let the market handle this...bad businesses end up going out of business. I am suspicious of this. I have asked around within the darknet community, 1 person I know has applied and got an generic, possibly automated response back.
The main issues are:
1) Lack of Professionalism - their website is shitty and they want people to use thebox which is some shitty generic onionland messaging system. They do not have a publicly listed email contact or persona for managing the website.
2) Overwhelming shadiness. Total lack of transparency, nobody knows who is running it or anybody that has used it. Its unclear who they are hiring for. They dont have an FAQ or any interactive public outreach on any forum. The only information i could find is on there website.
People that operate darknet enterprises, like to have reputations, outreach and other stuff to let people know they are legit. Not sure about these guys. It would make more sense to have a listing page where people could post resumes and hiring opportunities then intrested parties could browse and hire select from a list of choices, with a built in escrow system. They manner in which they are operating is murky, inefficient and a bit n00bish. Its not a hiring platform its just a busybody trying to make a cut off a networking position. in the onionland early days you had people like this but now the scene is a bit more developed. Although who knows, it might become a very successful service.

Except a few weeks ago I did a test withdraw of 36 ANC and, while it took a day or two, came through fine. Either way not sure what your point is? All ANC funds will need to be removed from cryptsy and we will work on getting them confirmed on the blockchain as quickly as possible. Withdrawals will stay open indefinitely but we can not guarantee the transactions will confirm quickly due to blockchain issues.

im thinking a major anoncoin pump in jan/feb As soon as they fix the 2 more bugs they will release a new version update with a innovative difficulty algorithm, its worth at least 2x-3x pump because of current low market cap, also craptsy stopped Anoncoin trading which automatically increases the price 35%. Because of craptsy withdrawal drama the price has been deflated. Its only uphill from here Original is working on i2pd integration and Gnosis will finish Zerocoin (eventually). To the moon! |
