Hey, Stuhl, is it any definite purpose for funds mined with Titan or is it just going to dev's pockets?
When would you introduce new team working on wallet? Haven't heard anything about it just yet.
I've just heard pieterjanvh and mvaessen are more of a support-devs rather a main wallet and stuff devs.
Anyway, development can go calmly right now since time is working for CAIX with new Titan.
I think Stuhlman mentioned that he will update the PSP whitepaper to explain the way PSP will work now that the Titan has arrived. He has been very secretive about the new dev team, so I can't help you there. To be clear about mvaessen and me: we are not part of the CAIx dev team. When things were not looking good for CAIx, Stuhlman decided to start a foundation to help make decisions for CAIx and get it back on the right track. Mvaessen and me are part of this foundation as regular community members. At some point in time, Stuhlman had promised a new wallet with a better UI and extra features, but the devs could not deliver. This is where mvaessen and me stepped in. I knew he was good at designing images and I had experience with coding. We developed the CAIx wallet v1.1.1 completely voluntary and thought of it as our duty to the community. I hope he'll be a little less secretive in nearest future  Right now he's plans looks kinda obscure. Interesting, I always thought you are much more than a community members. Some great work you've done! Bittrex volume looks awesome and price is pretty stable. Still it's much space to go higher. |

I will work on the whitepaper to apply the changes we need to do to get development on the right track originally we planned to burn coins, that is no longer an option. We already have one of the lowest coin counts. We will buy coins and build a development fund with it, instead of depending on people to help. My priorities right now include getting caix back on bittrex, and getting the trade volume up a bit. I think with steady buy support it won't be long before we are back up. However, we do need an exchange with heavy volume like bittrex in addition to cryptsy. Sounds good. I guess, bittrex is something more than exchange for CAIX right now. It's like a signal for crypto community that CAIX development is ongoing and anything would go as promised. So yeah, bittrex is essential. I'll get back to twitting Richie about CAIX, hope I won't be only one doing this. |

Is there a way to download a majority of the blockchain without going through the wallet syncing? I am asking becasue I constantly getting stuck around 400000 blocks.
I tried to replace my old blockchain file with an up to date one from other PC but I didn't succeed. Got to download blockchain all over again. |

Whenever I doubt if CAIx is syncing or not, I check E:\User\AppData\Roaming\CAIx and look at blk0001.dat file. If it's size increasing dynamicly, I'm good to go.
By the way, pieterjanvh, could you, please, make a syncing progress bar for next wallet version? That would help to know if wallet is syncing at all.
Sadly I will not have anything to do with the next major wallet update, but I will tell Stuhlman that this is a requested feature. You can check that the wallet is syncing by hovering over the blockchain status icon, it will tell you which block has been synced and how many days ago it was created. If the blocknumber is increasing it means that you are syncing correctly and without a problem. Does it mean another team would work on major wallet update with Stuhlman? I really hope you will stay. |

Sometimes I'm just getting shocked how childish and impatient most of ROOT community is.
For month or two I've been closely watching for ROOT and XCASH.
For two months XCASH dev did post 2 messages saying literally nothing to prove any of his work going on.
The funniest thing is that for 2 months of XCASH dev saying NOTHING price sustained at 8-10k based on pure believe of holders.
Same time ROOT dev Bitsta posted updates, screenshots, talked to holders on IRC and price went to 5k and lower, and fuckhead childish holders screamed "SCAM!!" more and more.
That's an incredible phenomenon how to different coins with almost same amount of coins can manage their price level.
Well, I guess, jonnyxcash from XCASH said one brilliant thing after all - he'd better have price based on what they had rather than what people expect.
I really hope bitsta would go same way someday. I hope he'll talk on IRC with people who are really interested in project. Bitcointalk is a bottom of a food chain and I would love to let this thread rot.
If bitsta would appear here only to post an update that is actually ready to use - that would be awesome.
