1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 17, 2022, 05:03:31 PM
However, I still don't understand why NBA teams aren't interested in Melo. Of course, Melo is no longer in his prime, but he's still a good scorer, and he could be a great bench player for a minimum salary.

Just hope that there will be a team that will consider Melo. The season still has a long way to go.

Not the first time that Melo experienced being unsigned for long. In 2019, Portland Trail Blazers give him a chance to play again after a year of absence on which he is thinking of retirement already. A season after, he intends to stay in the Blazers for a year deal.

No one knows if that thing will happen to him again.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 17, 2022, 03:17:55 PM
The majority of crypto collapse always comes from the centralisation part and of cos the human greed, what do you think is the proper solution for these? To avoid hurting crypto investors and how to guarantee that their funds is safe with any platform, either Staking, Lending or Trading.

What is the way forward? What solution do you think will be effective?

On the other hand, investors are also greedy too especially those who are shilling the projects.

The solution to not be doomed by these hype projects is to keep away from them.

There are lots of projects that have already shown stability since their inception. Might want to consider putting money on those instead of new hyped projects.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 17, 2022, 03:10:40 PM
Arum will continue to play with his cards, as long as Inoue is willing to sign his contract and Inoue is contented with the amount
he receiving from Arum, the business will continue.

Let's face the fact that while Arum is playing his cards, boxers under him are getting a big break while enjoying a high contract.

Arum has the ability to form a big fight that's why to those people who hate him, just take it or leave it.

After all, it's not that he always makes sure that his cash cow is safe. There are lots of popular boxers under him wherein able to form big fights. Sometimes annoying to others but let's face the reality that boxing can't just be pure legacy.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: November 15, 2022, 11:46:38 PM
^KYC procedure versus a non-reputable gambling casino, I still prefer the KYC casino, it feels safe for me with the KYC casino because I know KYC casino has jurisdictions to follow based on their licensing. I don't think that there is lose a lot of potentials, one of my examples is Roobet which from zero KYC until now required KYC procedures they have still many gamblers to play.  So I think that does not matter to them the most important is the reputation of the casino not the KYC procedure.

When it comes to the point that KYC is now a thing, it's good to just comply with it on considered reputable sites that are running for a long.

It's not the first time though that we are exposing our private data on a third-party service that's why we should manage the risks.

Besides, it's really possible that all crypto-gambling sites will have KYC but there should be a tier where KYC will just ask.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 15, 2022, 11:43:24 PM
Do you think it's good that I sold the house then I buy bitcoin with all the money?
because in my own calculations, my house value didn't increase in date year by year. the value is still stagnan, it's different when compare it with bitcoin, I will got 3 house when I sold my house then buy bitcoin with that money in 2018 and sold it again on ATH november 2021.

(I have 2 house, which I want sell it is abandoned house)

You shouldn't bet on your future based on your speculative thoughts. That was a risky move.

However, if you understand the risks then it's your decision to push that plan of yours.

It's really interesting to speculate good things in the future however, we don't know if you will able to manage properly it on the way while waiting for bitcoin's moon price.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2022, 11:39:24 PM
As long as Joel Embiid is healthy and plays like that, I'll see Philadelphia as a serious contender. He is doing incredible work and elevating his team. A few games later, Sixers will be back in the play-off spot. I haven't seen a team that stands out so much this season. Boston and Milwaukee are in similar level as Philly. In the Western Conference there is no team that stands out much. It looks a little more balanced there. I was expecting a fall in Golden State but what happened to Lakers? They fell off worse than I expected. LeBron should go to a better team to chase another championship.

Joel Embiid is always healthy and if you check the previous seasons, he is always at the Season MVP ladder.

But unfortunately, the Philadelphia 76ers always end up failing in the playoffs. There's no problem with Embiid's consistency and health but he really needs a boost coming from his teammates. That is what he lacks every season on this team.

He is the only one living with the "trust the process" system on this team and the rest, inconsistent even the head coach lol.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Bear take control long-term? on: November 15, 2022, 11:35:01 PM
How will the crypto market perform post-market turmoil? Will the bear take control long-term?

We don't have crystal balls to determine what will happen next.

There is no technical analysis that can be backed up on how long the bear market will last. Just ride the trend as much as possible and more importantly do your best to accumulate your favorite coins at a cheap price.

Actually, we are in a bear market for a long already so at least, everyone new to this trend should somehow now use being on this trend now.
1088  Local / Pilipinas / Re: USE CASES DPAT NG BLOCKCHAIN TECH AND CRYPTO on: November 15, 2022, 11:30:11 PM

1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 13, 2022, 11:59:48 PM
Majority is in favor with Casimero because he is much well know compare to Akaho but its really dangerous for him to belittle his opponent since he is inactive for so many days and this might give effect to his fighting style and Akaho will dominate him. I consider this as a good match up between them since whoever wins for sure they can bring good honors and maybe they could get more bigger fight after this match.

Not just popularity but it's obvious that Casimero has all the advantages he has in this fight.

Akaho is not even considered a boxer that can harm a Casimero-level performance for let's say Casimero will be 100% healthy in that fight.

We are not underestimating Akaho but just saying the closest possibility that can happen in this match.
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 10, 2022, 11:46:59 PM
It is normal to see Manny Pacquiao getting slower because he is already past his prime but even though he lost some speed, he is still quick on his feet.

Either way, if he's slow now or not, it doesn't matter on this exhibition match as they will just perform for entertainment. Speed or anything is not a factor since the output and result of this fight are already scripted at the beginning.

No way Manny Pacquiao will participate in exhibition matches that terms will be the same way as sanctioned real fights. If that's the case, then he should just comeback from retirement and continue his legacy.
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 10, 2022, 11:44:31 PM
Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

Maybe depends on the person's profession. There are jobs that are sensitive and if those persons involved are caught gambling, they will face heavy punishment. Here in our country, police officers are not allowed to do gambling even off-duty. That is prohibited in their line of service.

In my case, I don't see a big reason why should I hide my gambling activity.

As long as I stay responsible and disciplined even when I gamble, everything should be fine.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 10, 2022, 11:39:16 PM
Well, cannot really say if Inoue's that determined to follow and take over Manny Pacquiao's legacy because right now, Inoue's at least 4-5 divisions away from the Legendary Pacman. But we'll see soon, if Inoue will take on the champions much earlier after his debut.

But regarding that Inoue is under Bob Arum, he won't be heading that quickly because Arum wants a much safer way and less risk so that Inoue can maintain his status and the money will be always flowing freely. Maybe Inoue will have a minimum of non-title fights first before he face the champion.

Who says that Inoue likes to follow or take over Manny Pacquiao? He has his own path and no way he will follow someone's path. He will just do what he needs to do while working his way up and that includes trying to win every of his fight. Let's say he really ends up in a Welterweight soon like Pacman, it doesn't mean he is following Pacquiao's legacy. That's an unfair approach for Inoue as he builds his legacy on his own from the beginning.

I'm not expecting Inoue to go fighting the Super Bantamweight Champions right away once he moved up. Bob Arum already gave his statement about that possibility and we can conclude that something like that won't happen early once Inoue decided to move up.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 10, 2022, 11:33:37 PM
When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.

There is no gambling without emotion. We are not robots and almost all our gambling experience does have an associated emotion.

It now depends on how a person will control their emotion and not fall into the worst situation because they can't handle something.

If losing gives people a heavy toll on their emotions, no choice but to force their selves to minimize their gambling activity or push to stop gambling for good.
1094  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you consider appearance in business and employment? on: November 08, 2022, 11:40:31 PM
Sometimes when we are in business or in employment, there's no choice but to adjust to its respective environment rather than it will adjust for us. In this competitive world, we should at least adopt the usual standard of being in a nice and good look regardless of the jobs or profession. Since there is a thing called "standards", nothing wrong if we will use on following them.

There's no downgrading when someone pointed out that a person is on their bad attire. Rather than take it as negative, used that as a reference to improve ourselves because it will result in good confidence.
1095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 08, 2022, 11:32:37 PM
However, you can protect your money and reduce stress in a falling market by avoiding five common pitfalls made by crypto investors.

Panic
Putting in Emotional Efforts
Investing short-term
Overtrading
Mental Health

These are a product of ourselves. A common mental experience for anyone. Is there really a way to avoid it?

Trading without emotions? Are that even possible lol?

Why avoid being in that situation if it can be managed along the way? Traders are human and there's no 100% way to avoid such emotional actions. They key here is to learn from mistakes, try our best to minimize our losses, and always stay focused on achieving our trading goals no matter what.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 08, 2022, 11:27:55 PM
When i cane back they  closesd he casino they lucky to close before i play again i had all my adrelaine and mood to win and bankrupt them.
Tomorrow i visit them again and take what is mine.

That casino is really lucky that you didn't find them open or else they will go bankrupt. Maybe they feel your presence that's why they decided to stop the operation on that day because you will get your sweet revenge and makes them pay for what they did to you.

I'm with you on your revenge. Go ahead and show your wrath on that casino that you are a GOD OF GAMBLER that can do anything.

If you successfully bankrupt them, can you share some photos of those owners crying in front of you? That would be an awesome revenge!
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO CRASH on: November 08, 2022, 11:24:34 PM
Today's move might take 1 month to achieve, but FUD makes it happen in a day

That's why it is called FUD. A specific term is being made just for that. FUD is already part of the crypto for a long and depending on how strong that FUD is, it can really trigger something unexpected. However, if there's a FUD that can be considered a big deal, there's also a non-sense FUD that can't even trigger small actions. Such FUDS are being ignored.

That's how the market behaves since then. Take it or leave it, you decide.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 08, 2022, 11:20:04 PM
I talk on live roullete in physical casino can it be rigged?

It might be but we will never know. Depending on the reputation of the physical casino, I think the reputable ones are following gambling standard procedures on how the roulette should be. Besides, let's accept the fact that winning big here is really hard no matter how's fairness applied here.

No way it will be designed to give most of their customers a good win always.

If ever you asked that question because you lose playing roulette, that's gambling and you have to move on.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 07, 2022, 11:50:22 PM
Not gonna lie I am getting worried and wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience or may have some insight. Thanks in advance!!

The site is new to my vocabulary so I think you are the only one here who is playing on that site. The fact also that you posted that concern here in the Bitcointalk forum, I don't know how you end up playing on that site as they don't even have an ANN thread here.

You can't pressure that site here because they have no reputation to take care of here. You really need to wait and just do what they want in order to get your winnings. I hope if ever you got your winnings, you can consider not to use their site again
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 07, 2022, 11:47:34 PM
What makes me curious is how in the hell SMB choose to complain rather than fouling Ginebra in their final possession. If you watched the whole game, you saw that the lead is only 1 and Ginebra got a steal. In a normal game, the opponent will foul it right? Why didn't they foul them and just choose to let the time runs out and complain?

And yet SMB Chris Ross blames that 1 play in question that's why they lose.

He even didn't think about what in world they gave up that 19-point lead that leads to a crucial moment.

For the situation you have mentioned, it's clear that Choke Leo Austria was in trouble too in thinking of a good strategy.
