1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: November 30, 2016, 01:22:28 AM
gambling, we can say that it is just a game but for me it is a habit that you can fortunately earn money by putting your money first and aside from that you can also lose most of the time and it might wreck your life if ever you don't know to discipline yourself. actually it is only suppose to be an entertainment but people took it seriously and made it as their source of money.

1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: November 29, 2016, 03:27:04 PM
Hello Guys, I would like to know you're understanding about online gambling and real life gambling. Since here in the philippines online gambling is now illegal. I'm just curious what's the difference about this too. Why make online gambling illegal?

maybe because most online gambling is not regulated by the government and it is not tolerated to run a gambling website without any permission of the authority and you need to have a legal documents/certificate from DTI and BIR i guess. because you know they don't want you to operate a business unless they will have a benefit from it Grin.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: November 29, 2016, 03:18:31 PM
Here is the story: My dad just found out that I am storing bitcoin and he try to prevent me from using this crypto. This is absolutely the worst situation I have ever had since I started used Bitcoin. I am living in the country which bad guys abuse Bitcoin for illegal activities. Therefore, most of the people here who do not have a proper knowledge about bitcoin believe bitcoin as a stupid, dummy coin or even MLM. My dad is one of them. Any solution to solve this problem ? It is quite hard though because I am still a teenager so it is extremely difficult to persuade him
Thanks in advance

my family also knows that i am using and keeping bitcoin they do not even know everything about bitcoin such as how it was working or how it was made and started etc. but they do know that this is also used by fraud and criminals on the internet as i told them about it but still i had explained to them the good side of bitcoin and my parent only advised me to be careful and responsible on using it. in your situation i guess, doing the same way I did before will only make you scolded by your dad because as what you have said you are from the country bitcoin is mostly used by illegal doers but still try to make him understand that it is not the only purpose of bitcoin.
1086  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: November 29, 2016, 02:49:14 PM
I can say that I have been scammed by hyips 10 times or less. after being scammed for how many times then I got tired of putting some of my coin to some of fake investments especially those doublers because I realized that i will be losing more and more of my hard earned satoshis so I stopped and avoid being fooled by these scammers.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin died tomorrow on: November 29, 2016, 02:40:52 PM
if ever bitcoin is going die tomorrow well it is time to find another cryptocurrency that has a good potential as bitcoin I don't have to throw my computer to the pool or eat 100 bananas as I can find another way to earn. but still this will be impossible for now as the bitcoin is still on its great status, so as long as many people keeps on using bitcoin it is not going to die.
1089  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte is most genius leader in the world agree? on: November 28, 2016, 05:08:55 PM
Sorry but I don't believe in the way he is running a country. It's just pathetic to think that you have to kill all  people who not life the life he want they have. This is not a democracy but a dictatorial regime that kill massive people sad that there are people who support such guy. I am happy that we have in the Netherlands a democracy where all people get judged by the court and not by a single person who is mentally sick.

you know, all those people that had been killed are involved to drugs and just because the president don't want this people to ruin the country doesn't mean he is the responsible for the extrajudicial killings at all you are from the other country so you didn't know that most of the people who had been killed are done by some corrupt policeman who is also involved with illegal drugs or maybe the henchman of those drug lords.

1092  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Did you already lose your BTCs on an online Wallet? on: November 28, 2016, 04:36:21 PM
i haven't experienced to lose my BTC's from an online wallet but i think i am almost there before as I am using so many online wallets which is around 4 or 5 and then decided to abandon the other and stick with only one that has a lot of services in my country but right i am also using blockchain.info just to store my signature campaign earning.

But if we store our BTCs on desktop wallet, the risk continues, no? A hacker can invade our computer and steal the BTCs.

I think would be good if we could have more guarantees of safe. Who has big amounts of stored Bitcoins fear all the time be hacked.

The hacker should target you specifically to hack you In that case. So It's pretty much easy to protect yourself as long as you have an anti malware , anti virus and you don't download random executable files and definitely not brag about how much Bitcoins/Altcoins do you have in your wallet.

so i guess installing a hard wallet on a Linux OS can be a good idea as it has less risk of being attacked by a malware and you don't have to install an anti-virus. just an opinion.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: November 28, 2016, 04:16:35 PM
yes definitely there's so many people younger than 18 that are gambling whether it is online or outside the internet, in my experience there's so many kids that dealing with card games, cara y crus and other kind of games related to gambling they are dealing with it at the early age which started from 10 years and i have encountered some teenager if i'm not mistaken he's only 16 or 17 and he is like a pro in dice game because he can often double his $10.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 28, 2016, 04:07:41 PM
getting rich with bitcoin is not as easy and simple as we can think we can never be rich with bitcoin instantly unless we have found a computer/laptop with a bitcoin hard wallet that contains BTC100 but this is also a dream and impossible to happen. in order to get rich with bitcoin we still need to work hard to earn bitcoin and hold it for how many years until the price has raised.
1095  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 28, 2016, 03:56:51 PM
although we all know that investing with bitcoin also has a high risk because of it's volatile market and the sudden fall on its price but still it is a good investment at least you are managing and holding your own investment and as long as there are many people keeps on using bitcoin we will have a good benefits from it, as of now we are just a small percentage of the population who are using it so what if bitcoin will be adopted by the masses.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 28, 2016, 03:45:35 PM
bitcoin has a great potential to be the future of money but I think the future that we are saying is already happening in the present as it is used already as a money/currency, although it is just considered as alternative for fiat right now but it has more used than real currency as we can see. and there will be more development after it adopted to many countries.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wanted to talk with Satoshi Nakamoto on: November 28, 2016, 03:31:33 PM
I don't want to talk with him.

Just know if alive or dead
No one really knows on where is satoshi as of todays if hes still alive or not but one things for sure if hes alive then hes just observing the succesful project that he made on the previous 7 years which is bitcoin.Im sure hes glad that many of us have been benefited on the creation that he made.People do really want to know the true identity of satoshi but same on his project hes anonymous too.

probably he is still alive but yet we wouldn't know what is his current status right now and of course one thing is for sure he will never appear to the public I think this will be necessary because his popularity will never be the same again if ever he appear to the public. and we will never believe to someone who will claim that he is satoshi nakamoto.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MY gambling strategy to limit loss and make btc on: November 26, 2016, 04:33:43 PM
My strtegy is very simple. It is called self control. i strt with .01 anytime i get  more than .001 over that amount i immidieately withdraw that ammount into coinbase. this way, i cant get cocky and gamble away huge orofits! Ehat are you guys opinions on this strat
You can't really say that you have full self control when you are in gambling site's sometimes we are triggered to play more when we are winning the excitement the thrill we are experiencing in gambling site let's say that you can really easily win 0.01 too and withdraw sometimes you want more profit.

very well said, and most of the time full self control does not prevailed and like what you have said whenever we are winning or suppose having a straight win instead of setting a limitation we used to stay and continue on playing as we wanted to win more money or maybe you have already set your limitation but ends up forgetting it and you will try to make more profit.
1099  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: November 26, 2016, 04:03:46 PM
ever since that I found this genesis-mining I've never trusted it, maybe it appears to be legit but i am already tired of any investments ponzi/hyip and I just want to hold all my earnings rather than putting it to any kind of investments especially when the hashocean collapsed i really have a doubt that genesis-mining will never become like HO and now it is on the scam accusations.
1100  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: bitcoin.org "choose your wallet" on: November 26, 2016, 03:49:39 PM
So if blockchain.info isn't considered an secure wallet, why a lot of people use this wallet? Dumb?

There's a lot of wallets there, if one day this site got hacked, the bitcoin price will go to the ground...

maybe because of its user friendly interface and it's easy to use and it seems most of their users gamblers and most of the transactions are from gambling because other web wallets are not tolerating users that dealing with online gambling. I am also using blockchain.info and I am keeping all my earning from signature campaign to it but i didn't know that blockchain.info is vulnerable.
