1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were the precursors of Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2020, 05:13:28 PM
Maybe it wasn’t the first to come up with this kind of idea; I have seen people say things like this that there has been others that were created earlier before we had Bitcoin, but none of them were successful. So, what’s the need of counting them if they were not successful?

Bitcoin is the one that came out successful and is now widely adopted more than every other cryptocurrencies there is, so it should be regarded as the first. And another thing I was made to understand from some of the research I have made concerning this is that Bitcoin is the first to be decentralized. There has been other attempts to create cryptocurrency like bit gold and ecash.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: IMPACTS OF ROBOTICS ON WORLD ECONOMY on: September 25, 2020, 07:04:19 PM
There are so many advantages to the increasing number of robotics, same as there are disadvantages.
The most that a lot of people are complaining about, is the part that humans are going to be losing their jobs because of these robots. This doesn’t affect those who are Business owners, it’s only the employees that are being affected.

Business owners always have plans to keep maximizing their profits, and they are always ready to do whatever it takes to increase their profit, and they can choose to use robots to replace humans in areas where it’s possible for them to do so.
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet shutdowns by governments are bad for corporate marketing on: September 25, 2020, 06:29:35 PM
I live in a developing country and I have not even heard about anything as such as internet shut down, but we do experience some issues with our internet connections due to some situations, but that used to be before we started having underground cables that are more stable now and even when it rains heavily network is still stable and you can still have access to the internet.

There has never been a time that the government shuts down the internet for any reason. And if they do, it would be very bad and will affect a lot of areas in the economy, especially those businesses that are into internet marketing, etc.
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Boris is right a second lockdown could cripple UK economy. on: September 23, 2020, 05:14:41 PM
I feel sorry for any country that is planning to go for another lockdown at this time, it seems the first one didn’t teach them enough lesson. The first lockdown was very bad for the economy of countries around the world, and it caused their economy to break badly.

In my country during the lockdown a lot of people were strongly against it, because it caused things to become pretty messed up, unless you have got millions and billions stored in your bank, that way you can do anything you want even during the lockdown, but it’s a very bad thing for the economy as a whole; prices for a lot of things went up and everything, even foodstuffs, were costly. But, after the lockdown things has gotten cheaper again.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: economic loan new money and covid 19 i want fast on: September 23, 2020, 03:42:30 PM
Who said that the government is waiting for people to take loans? A lot of countries right now are rushing to ease the lockdown and let people go back to work because the economy is being hit pretty bad.

Also between if everyone takes loan, do you think it’s all of them that will pay back? Most of them will get into debt that they wouldn’t be able to get out from future. Taking loan, sometimes, is not advisable unless you have plans on how you’re going to invest that money and you’re hundred per cent sure that there is going to be a huge return from it to be enough pay back the loan and interest.
1086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading site? on: September 22, 2020, 06:42:45 PM
Exchanges ask for those verification stuff for two reasons and I do understand why they are important. One of them is to abide by the laws because governments asks for these stuff and if they do not take it they are not abiding the laws and they could face a lot of trouble as exchanges, people could launder black money and we wouldn't know about it so it is important that they ask for verification.

Someone bad could still launder money using someone else's information but that is not important, it is important to make it a bit tougher on them and check the information on the person who never made over 1000 dollar per month in his life suddenly having 100k+ coming from exchange.

Secondly they do this in order to prevent hacking, if your account is hacked, you could use KYC to get it back.
1087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 22, 2020, 05:59:19 PM
There is this level where they are no longer newbies but they are not expert traders because of this advice as well, what should they do at that point? Let's assume this is my first day in crypto, I got in and bought a coin that I can stake and I learned how to stake with VPS so that I can close my PC and would still stake 7/24 and all of that are fine, what am I suppose to do after that?

I can't just let it be like that forever because eventually I will want to trade but so far I have only done staking and did nothing else, where and how did I learned about trading? If I start trading I will once again be newbie at that as well and I wouldn't be good at it. So, there needs to be transition period that I will have to do in order to make a profit in trading world.
1088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Coinsbit Exchange. on: September 22, 2020, 12:37:40 PM
If you have gone through the exchange and you like it, then you can go ahead with it. It’s not a scam, it’s a legit exchange and also in the entry-level (entry-level exchanges are always recommended for people who are still new, since they allow fiat method).

Coinsbit exchange has mobile app for both Android and iOS, and from what I have read on their website, they claim that 95% of the assets that are in their possession are stored in cold storage (that’s just like what Coinbase does), so it’s quite cool. I don’t know about their fees, if you like the exchange you should check it out and know for yourself.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking NEWS: SEC, Bitcoin now legal (a security) in Nigeria. on: September 22, 2020, 07:58:16 AM
From what I have known, Bitcoin wasn’t illegal in Nigeria at the first place. I can remember a few years back someone posted a news about some cryptocurrency exchanges that launched their services in Nigeria. I remember for sure that Luno exchange has been fully functioning in Nigeria for years now, so how does that make Bitcoin illegal?

Maybe there was no rules set in place as of then, maybe it was just among those countries that had no rules , where it was neither regarded as legal or illegal and corrupt law enforcement will extort you wrongly. By the way, before this your news there was also a news of a Bitcoin ATM that launched in Nigeria; a BTC ATM won’t be launched in a place where it’s illegal.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 Bitcoin interesting facts on: September 22, 2020, 07:17:56 AM
As for the 4th fact you mentioned, with the error that occurred on the August 2010 that caused the value overflow, doesn’t it prove to you that the amount of bitcoins can still be increased from that 21 million to a higher number?

Just pointing that out because you said that there can never be an increase; there is a possibility of an increase, but it’s up to the developers to decide whether they would like to increase it or not and that depends on what happens in the future. And as for being untraceable, it not untraceable; if you make use of Bitcoin anyone will be able to trace you if they want to. Haven’t you seen incidents of hacking whereby the hackers were caught? So it’s not untraceable.
1091  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: September 21, 2020, 06:58:45 PM
All you need to know about Sportsbet limits: 3 mBtc max bet on Leeds - Fulham https://youtu.be/hVdQdANCLLg
Big players are not welcome
The max bets were personal if I am not wrong, there was a talk about it somewhere but I am not sure, person to person it changes, so if you gamble here for the first time it is normal that you do not get a lot of high max bet caps because you are unknown to them and they do have the right to be hesitant about accepting your bet, however after you bet a bit more, even if you win, that means you get familiar and they will allow you to gamble more as well.

I am not sure if it was sportsbet.io who did this or another place I am confusing it with but there was talks about it somewhere. I still never reached my max cap honestly Cheesy. I have gambled for a while now and I never really had to gamble my max, I usually end up gambling half or even quarter of the max provided even when I go all in and usually A LOT lower on regular bets.
1092  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: September 21, 2020, 06:19:50 PM
Last season they had a Champions League Jackmate called The Invincibles. You predict all the outcomes for every match, the longer your winning streak, the more you win as freebets. The Premier League Jackmate was Majestic Seven. Pick the scorers for the selected matches.
It is really sad that we are not going to get premier league but get champions league, but honestly after a certain period we are going to have weekly champions league as well, it will not be very little, of course it is not going to be 38 games or whatever, of course it is going to have less weeks or basically less games, but for a short bursts there it will be exactly like premier league where there is 7+ games per week, which is why this could be exactly like how it was but for shorter period of time.

No matter how it is done, we are talking about it coming back and I rather take this over not having it any day of the week, with champions league we are at least getting it back and that is very important for both marketing and also hype about the promotion.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 20, 2020, 01:40:48 PM
btc is not good to pay our bills.,

we need new way of passive income goverments should start giving out universal income Smiley there is need for passive income
I think those who are always saying that they want to quit their jobs and become full-time investors or traders are overlooking the huge number of people who come out as failure from investing, and they are only looking at those that are being successful in it, forgetting that it’s never the same for the majority.

When people ask me this question on whether they should quit their jobs and become full-time cryptocurrency traders, I tell them not to do it, would be better if they continue their jobs and also be investing and trading cryptocurrency when they have the time, that way they won’t be having sleepless nights when the market crashes.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: September 20, 2020, 01:02:53 PM
I agree on everyone OP. Maybe you are now confused due to the series of unfortunate events but dude everything is real. So slap your face and wake up, the spread of this virus is not intended only just to hide the debt of certain country/s. I think a more believable story would be "manmade virus as a biological weapon" Grin (but then again, it was only a conspiracy as well lol).
Yeah this is not intended to hide debt of countries that has large amount of credit,But if we have something to think about the spread
of this?is the Theory that China really made this virus to bring the world into crisis and they will offer hand to make those country
under His command since they have credits on them.
Look how easy they fought the Virus while the whole world is still suffering?
there is something to think about this
and for OP this is what he needs to Dig in deeper.
China can get over it very easily without just caring about it, we are talking about a nation who is run by propaganda all the time and even what you should think about is feed to you every single day, if you are someone who thinks differently something bad might happen to you, we have all seen the footage, people there think of CCP as the god or they die, we all know this.

So, why wouldn't they get back to work when CCP tells them to go back to work? Why would they think shares should go down when media tells them it is great time to buy? When you have sheep that follows you around, it is easy to tell them go off a cliff, as long as you are the shepherd they will do what you tell them to do and China is exactly like that, a shepherd at the top and bunch of sheep doing what shepherd tells them to do.
1095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Legit trading courses on: September 19, 2020, 06:33:40 PM
There are many websites where you’re going to be learning how to trade cryptocurrency, and some of them you’re going to be learning for free, while others you will have to pay for.

If you want something more of professional, you should check on Udemy, there is a course they have there: cryptocurrency mastery, complete crypto trading course that will teach everything that you will have to learn about cryptocurrency and that includes technical analysis and they are also going to tell you right places to be getting updates that will help you in your trading. As for the free ones, you can check out Blockgeeks, they have so many helpful articles.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin be introduced into the educational sectors on: September 19, 2020, 05:50:18 PM
Yep, it should be referenced in places where it fits, not as a whole subject or something, there isn’t much to be taught about Bitcoin. Bitcoin is simply a decentralized currency and is being used for sending and receiving money and nothing much.

Unless you’re going to be talking about the Blockchain technology, I believe that there is a lot that should be taught on the topic of Blockchain, and these days it has become a hot topic and one of the areas where there are huge opportunities since a lot of companies are now looking to employ engineers that are skilled in Blockchain technology.
1097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap increased 75% on: September 19, 2020, 05:17:02 PM
It is really funny that people still think that this is sustainable regular economy that people could benefit from. Do not forget that everything that creates something out of thin air without getting anything in return will have to finally go down one day. This is just like ponzi schemes, it is not a ponzi but it is like that because at the end they are not going to be able to provide money to people who got in later.

It is make belief money that people put value in right now for wrong reasons, don't get me wrong bitcoin is make belief as well but it has a reason why it is valuable, uniswap gave wrong reasons and it still got famous and it will eventually go down because it can't make the promised amount of money to people who will want that type of profit.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your HODL and favorite project on: September 19, 2020, 04:05:46 PM
I agree with the earnbet dude, I do have some of that as well. Not that I think it will ever be game changer or anything but simply it is a casino and there are people who play there, I doubt that it will ever be a place with zero gamblers in it, it will probably keep having some players here and there, which means they will always have dividends as well.

So to think that, with staking and dividends and how cheap it is to get it right now all combined I feel like it is a great long term deal. Obviously there are possibilities that could make it horrible, for example if it closes after 2 years and bankrupts that means it will not work out for you, but if you spend money and buy now and collect dividends and by luck it continues for 20-30 years in the future, you will literally get 100x rich all thanks to dividends.
1099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie with question. Please help on: September 19, 2020, 03:23:16 PM
They want to incorporate their tokens with you, as in how, do you run an exchange or what? I was going to say straight up that you should avoid them, and then I read you say that you were met with an opportunity, and I don’t get what kind of opportunity that you’re talking about.

My advice is that if you don’t trust something, stay clear from it, your kind already cleared you that you’re getting yourself in something that might screw you up later, so stay away from it to avoid regrets in future. It’s still your choice, if you choose to go ahead, that’s would be your own cup of tea... Au revoir.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Allegedly Coinbase prevented 1,000 customers From Sending Funds to the Hackers on: September 19, 2020, 01:39:56 PM
That’s one of the advantages of having a centralized exchange, if these people that were stopped by Coinbase from sending money to the hackers were making use of wallets like Mycelium or Exodus where the creators of the wallet has no control over your wallet, they all would have sent this huge amount of money from their wallets to these hackers. Coinbase did a really good job in protecting their customers and that shows how much they can be trusted.

Moreover apart from that I think it’s really time that people wise up and stop acting, these things sounds too good to be true. People should try to understand the tactics that are being used by these scammers and start avoiding them.
