Did the difficulty increase today or are we just having very bad luck?
We had very bad luck after yesterday's difficulty increase, so the effect was combined.
Also some very long rounds were encountered - even two >2 hours blocks (our new record - 4.99M shares).

I hope it will get better now.
1082  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2300 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 08, 2011, 03:35:54 AM
When I tried to pay out 0.03 bitcoins two hours ago it seemed like the transaction ended up in a black hole. It's in the log, it even has a transaction ID, but when I click it blockexplorer says the transaction doesn't exist.
edit: just arrived, probably had been queued up or something
Have you used the "Instant payment" button on the website ? If yes, did a help page appeared after requesting payment ?
1083  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2300 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 07, 2011, 10:33:07 PM
payment was sent it said, when wil it be processed?
New people ask this question so often I am very surprised that they don't use the search function for the forums and there will be hundreds of hits on the subject.  Please make use of this great tool :)
There is already a complete help page shown to everyone who presses "Instant payment" button.
And looks like it still doesn't helps.

You mean at: Your bitcoin address for receiving rewards right?
Yes.
Hehe, changed it. sorry still kind of a noob in this.payment was sent it said, when wil it be processed?
It's already processed and included in a block.
You should see it in your client if you have all the blockchain downloaded.

they say you can payout at 0.01bct.
trying to but no result
What are you trying to do and waht error message are you getting ?
im pressing payment, then it gets to the payout method.
after that i click instant payout, with the value of 0.01BCT
it thinks, and nothing happens
If my guess is correct, then you entered your e-mail address instead of your bitcoin address. Did you ?
1087  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2300 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 07, 2011, 06:58:34 PM
anyone else get Owned by the difficulty jump? or are we having bad luck in the pool, i went from 3.4ßtc to 1.6ßtc per 24hrs
Current unluck is shown at the stats page, it's 27% for the last 24 hours - that's the cause.
I hope it will change soon :) Also you may use PPS mode at least while we have bad luck.
eays to say it! but if you have 20+ workers, you need much time to change them all! :p
at least if we could change them all at once? ;)
That's a good point, I should think about adding this feature.

What do you mean by "long polling for about 5 hours" ?
Basically like this except the blocks were different and it went on for hours.
Looks like some connection lock-up problem.

Tycho,   I just had 3 of 4 miners long polling for about 5 hours while another miner was hashing on the same system.  This happen to anyone else?  Using Poclbm.
What do you mean by "long polling for about 5 hours" ?

Are we having bad luck today?
Only getting about 70% of my projected 24 hour earnings.
Current luck is shown at the stats page. Was about -26% today, so you are right.

How can I check if I have set Proportional or PPS? How can I change it? Thanks.
It's in the right column of your workers table.

Hi Tycho, any news on failure detection? I would LOVE that feature, it works on BTC Guild and BTC Mine great, so I figure it's piece of cake for you :).
I'm working on this, will post more info later.
I know that it's long awaited and very important, but I just need to fix some things before.
1095  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2200 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 07, 2011, 06:34:36 AM
I just registered an account and I have no workers. I did confirm my email but when I go to add a worker, it gives me Access denied. Is there a bug in the registration or worker creation system?
Try again please.

More fixing was needed...
1096  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Mining pool features table on: June 07, 2011, 06:06:54 AM
Most pools provide their total hashrate data and it's shown as pie chart at http://bitcoinwatch.com , but there is no averaging for more precise results.
1097  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Mining pool features table on: June 07, 2011, 06:03:12 AM
Don't know what do you mean by "e-mail change payout lock", but we have optional permanent address lock and e-mail confirmation for address change.

Also both proportional and pay-per-share payout modes are available.
1098  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2200 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 07, 2011, 05:45:39 AM
I'm checking the balance updates now.
If there is some problem, i'll find it.

UPD: No, no bugs here, just a very long round.
1099  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~2200 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 07, 2011, 04:47:27 AM
Is there any way to tell if Proportional or PPS give better payouts for a certain MH/s?  Or are they more or less even?
I'm getting 105MH/s and I was wondering if there was a major difference between the two.  (Someone told me I should be doing proportional.)
PPS is more profitable when pool is unucky and vice versa.
It doesn't depends on your speed or pool's speed - only on pool's luck.

I see the problem now, fixing it. Please wait a bit.

EDIT: Fixed. Sorry for the delay.
