1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Anyone Ever Tried Selling Bitcoin on a Market Stall? on: March 05, 2017, 07:47:19 PM
I just wondered if anyone here had set up at a market and tried to sell Bitcoin to the public/tourists?

I think it's be a bit of advertising for Bitcoin for people that t walk past and people may buy as novelty gift etc. (if done as fancy paper wallet).

I'm considering trying this in London, what do you guys think?

I don't like the idea that you are planning with, why don't you try to make something which explain what is bitcoin to them. Well, I guess if you do that people might get be happy once you do it.
1082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: March 05, 2017, 07:38:51 PM
Bribing is a bad idea itself, the act of bribing can put you in more mess than you expect, just make sure you always do the right thing and have no need to bribe anyone

Whenever bribing cannot be a good thing ever! since bitcoin is an open source we can do nothing about what the users of bitcoin will gonna do of how is He/She going to use it. Hoping that majority of the bitcoin users will just use it for good reason only.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: March 05, 2017, 07:33:55 PM
Bitcoin has been steadily losing market cap dominance, from 90%+ just two years ago to ~80% today.

I could release mysmellyarsecoin tomorrow, print 20 million tokens, hype the shit out of it and put ten up for sale. Hey presto, I've just taken 10% of Bitcoin's market cap.

The coins that have taken Bitcoin's market cap have precisely zero use. That's when they're not forking all over the place.

The main use for all of it is still speculation by a long, long way. Bitcoin is the only one with a sliver of utility. Once that sliver grows, and there really isn't anything else with any utility, then the speculation will recede.

I want to support this arguments. These altcoins were not created as bitcoin upgrade or to innovate crypocurrency. Most of them are simply pump and dump scheme overhyped to seems like 'next big thing'.
News altcoin can possibly more advanced in technical field - for now, because bitcoin can be upgraded. But then never beat one and the most important attribute of BTC - near perfect initial distribution.
Bitcoin was created and was worthless, people noticed is potential and make it valuable. Altcoins are created because their developers want to cut corners and earn fast money.

Agreed, aside from that altcoins is an alternative coin for bitcoin and most of them are anonymous unlike bitcoin as we all know is pseudonymous and some altcoins I think was regulated and bitcoin was unregulated so no wonder why bitcoin now is much more getting higher stronger the amount of value.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: March 05, 2017, 07:27:12 PM
Could bitcoin prevent crime?

I believe Bitcoin transactions via online wallets could prevent crime. People are going to use Bitcoin for legal and illegal transactions, however criminal transactions are susceptible to crime as cash is used for the transaction...which encourages theft. If bitcoin were used for these shady transactions, perhaps with escrow, there would be no opportunity to steal currency - couldn't this prevent crime? (Aside from the original criminal transaction of course!)

I don't think bitcoin can prevent crime, it is because if bitcoin can be use for legal and illegal activities transaction there's now way to resolve any crime situation. Unless if all bitcoin users are gonna use bitcoin for legal or good purposes only, perhaps that's possible.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: March 05, 2017, 12:45:00 AM
I don't make investment my bitcoins on poloniex (margin trading) although i was traded on there, because it is high risk and i just traded altcoins on there and i don't ever put my bitcoins on there while i don't trading on there.
In every exchange actually there are risk involved in for real. Now it depend on the traders of how he prepare himself to take the risk in the exchange platform. But for me Poloniex is very quite good and and cool to use it as a trading platform.
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: March 05, 2017, 12:40:57 AM
Future of Bitcoin Economics depends on mass adoption of Bitcoin. No body can predict accurately the true future of Bitcoin.

I do believed that bitcoin in the near future has a brighter future in the economics of each countries. Only thing was nobody knows when it will gonna happen. But the mass adaption so far right in different places of the world are getting changed because for what is happening into bitcoin.

1088  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitcoin Forums - TheBitZone - Pay to post on: March 05, 2017, 12:24:03 AM
   TheBTCitZone

In the simplest explanation,

TheBitZone is a unique pay-to-post forums. We do not specify how many Satoshi is earned per post. Instead, we give our users a token called "shares"*. Shares will be converted into Satoshi every 15 days using a simple Math formula. We shares up to 60% of our revenue.

We create TheBitZone because we felt that we need a community forums that is dedicated to the use of Bitcoin and not the technical side - because that is where cryptocurrencies is heading to.

It is powered by MyBB open source bulletin board software with custom plugins that enable us to standout. For example, a activity plugin similar to how the activity system works here on Bitcointalk. A fully-featured Satoshi balance - not a microwallet or Bitcoin address - system that allows us to convert forums shares to Satoshi.

We are working on adding new features such as crowdfunding, marketplace and auction platforms.

Join us today and be part of a growing Bitcoin community.

Proudly created with love by ExtraMileGames and jacktheking of Bitcointalk.

* shares is not an Altcoin. It is just a way for us to determine how much Satoshi one deserve on the forums.
The website of yours was thebitzone.com this forum where your member is going to post whatever they want to talk about it just related on the topic. Does this mean on your forum the more post they wanna make is also count as paid but 15 days  after before the distribution of the payment to the participants is that correct? it's only for clarification so that everybody knows here.

1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: March 05, 2017, 12:04:24 AM
With 1000 dollars each, it seems that bribing with bitcoin would be a good idea.  One USB stick will do the job with no third party required.

Whenever bribing via bitcoin was a good idea,  It can be use for most of the time in different forms of some illegal activities in any aspects of a business in this world. Its not because is an open source we take to use it in bad purposes, that's not right at all.
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BT on: March 04, 2017, 11:58:11 PM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

You many choices to invest your bitcoin here, there is trading platform where you can choose to buy any coins that you think are potential to buy in then trade it. Or you can also try to buy some in the ico were you can find it in the signature campaign. But never, ever invest in any form of cloud mining sites.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: March 04, 2017, 11:54:24 PM
I see that everyone sees Bitcoin as this magical money making thing so here is a great way to make some money:

1. Learn a skill that is in demand.

2. Use that skill to make money in your worthless inflationary local currency.

3. Convert that worthless currency into bitcoins.

Boom. Now you have real money!

Spend as desired.

Bonus points if you can use your skill that is in demand to directly make bitcoins.

In some countries you can direct deposit your paycheck into bitcoins.
In the US you can use http://www.bitwage.co or PEY in Germany.

PS. Signature campaigns are the worst way to make bitcoins.
I'm just a bit wondering how do you say that signature campaigns are the worst to make bitcoins? Isn't this is just your opinion only, I'm beg to disagree about what you said. There are campaign which I could says its a long term campaign like Bitvest, 777coins, yobit, and others. Those I mentioned was a good campaign signature actually. Also regarding about your concern great way to make bitcoin doing trading in the exchange plaform.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC low fee taking days (or more) on: March 04, 2017, 11:47:08 PM

With the price up and trading going up, fees are skyrocketing. Transactions a few days ago took hours which was too long. My now it's been 24 hours and still 0 confirmations. Besides the major annoyance and risk this causes, is there any way to fix BTC? I don't see it surviving unreliability.
I think this problems will be hard to resolve it. Everyday for God"s sake there is a thousands unconfirmed in the blockchain. That's the technical problem of bitcoin, but even it is always delayed the confirmation it is still always arrive into our wallet right? the worst is not isn't?
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the power of simplicity in risk taking on: March 04, 2017, 11:20:26 PM
most people take for granted the power of simplicity when it comes to making choices in risk taking endeavors, this is especially true when it comes to cryptocurrency betting. Take for example, a simple slot game with 20 lines that requires you to input your bet amount in bitcoin decimals (i.e .001 or .0002 etc), it is quite easy to mistakenly input an undesireable amount thus losing a large portion of your balance in one bet. How many times has one found themselves the victim of such error?

fortunately, fastbets.io allows players to bet in a much simpler form: bits. additionally, the games that fastbets features are the definition of simplicity yet are still sophisticated enough to be addictive. it's really a love-hate with these games (double or nothing, rocket-pot, mhm). The games featured are not overly flashly, there are no flashing bonuses or notifcations to alert you that you just won a huge jackpot, and that's really the beauty of it. But don't be mistaken, some of these games require strong concentration and learning skills; so for this very reason, I recognize fastbets.io as simple to use, easy to play, but hard to master.

keeping it simple--from beginning to end--fastbets.io features immediate cash outs (and I sure do mean immediate) so when you want to cash out, it's literally in your wallet immediately. This has been my all time favorite part about fastbets.io.
Note:  their cash out doesn't require an admin approval unless it's over .5btc.

www.fastbets.io

Honestly speaking, I don't trust the links you displayed on this thread. Sorry for that dude, not for being rude maybe because it was just new to me the sites you gave. I just do that same game in the fortune jack, yolodice, and bitvest.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: March 04, 2017, 11:16:03 PM
I think that usually a guy which play games for a long time, risk to became a gambler addicted. Which method you use for stop plaiyng when you understand that you are near to became addicted?

For example, i don't play a lot or for long time (i play games spot during my free time), so i have no idea about, but i trade forex all day and when i had a significant  loss i usually turn off my Pc and i go out for a drink , just for not run behind loss.

I think if the behavior of the person is changing little by little its one of the sign, then if He/she always in the gambling place the whole days too are also one of the spot reason, And he don't care how much he/she lost in the gambling games just important for her is to win.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: March 04, 2017, 11:13:02 PM
As long as i am happy in what i do i don't feel any regrets even people around me knows i gamble. And also aslong as i use my own money to gamble. And about country that banned gambling as long as we are playing online and using bitcoin we are anonymous, so no problem at all.
Indeed, just you do what we wanna do in the gambling, enjoy, no hurting anyone  and family is not get affecting them just because you play in gambling that would be fine as long as you wouldn't neglect your responsibilities.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 04, 2017, 11:09:37 PM
While play gambling and lost, do you add more beting or stop play gambling? I always add more beting and deposit again, i can't control my self. Do you have suggesting for me?

Controlling ourselves in the gambling are commonly factors where the gambler are always cried out home after the end of the game because of lack control to themselves. Which is very important for the player to have it in the games.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about bonuses on btc casino ? on: March 04, 2017, 11:07:22 PM
Do you care about the bonuses casino offers or play regularly and spotaneously without look at it like me ?

Bonuses in the casino was just a piece of shit, most of them are not true. Even in some other dice sites, there's a dice site giving a lot of giveaways to those who play in their games sites they will give several altcoins giveaways if you have at least 0.01BTC on your bankroll. That's totally insane.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Investment Doubt on: March 04, 2017, 10:58:14 PM
For how much time do you usually let your money invested in a casino before finish or renew it?
I think it depends on the gambler, in my case although I don't have any addiction in gambling when I do gamble I"m not expecting that I'm gonna win in the games, therefore I'm not expecting anything in it. whether I win or not, just important is I enjoy what I do in the gambling.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: March 04, 2017, 10:44:02 PM
Are there any regulations or oversight for bitcoin casinos? I think for other online casinos where you have to deposit genuine money, there are some government regulations regulating these casinos. How about bitcoin casinos?

as far as I know in any online site there is a regulations that need to be followed, in bitcoin casino I just didn't noticed if there is a regulation about in playing in the casino. Because most of the time when I sign up in the gambling site more on username and password only, maybe in land  based casino there is policies need to do.
