Store of value will likely be Bitcoin's main application for a few more years minimally.
For now, yeah. But once the Lightning Network is fully developed and running, we will witness BTC's use advancement from an inconvenient payment system, to a global and scalable network that hopefully could compete with Visa and Mastercard.

Can you give us a clue of what the GMP is? The mystery is giving me ulcers.
If I were to guess, the GMP includes a partnership or an enterprise alliance with a company that wants to have its ICO in the Burst platform. Am I correct?

Its also important to know that Bittrex and Poloniex are both based in the US and they both follow the same laws. Its better to use two or more exchanges that are based in different countries to be safe if the law starts coming after cryptocurrencies and ICOs.
We must learn from the lessons of the China ban.

Do you think it is allowed to sell them here?
Me and a few of my friends would like to raise some extra cash by selling our ,,KYC'' documents, one picture of a document and the other with the person holding that document.
My question is if selling it here is legal (won't get banned).
And what could be the price?
Are you sure you will be selling KYC documents that arent stolen? Identity theft is a big thing on the internet and its very easy to buy stolen documents and ID on the darknet. Are you planning on buying some there to sell here in the forum?

Maybe, but who cares? I didnt make any effort to move some of my BTC stored in blockchain.info to get some BTG. Like what theymos said, its a scammy cash grab with no ideology, never mind the economic support. At least with BCC, its community is fighting for something. BTG has nothing.

I want to know is you believe ethereum can have the same price and growth as bitcoin and maybe ethereum holders in 2030 can be super rich
What do you think?
That probably yes! ETH is the main competitor of bitcoin as of now in terms of market cap. Even though both the coins have created for different reasons, but if I look from an investor's point of view, ETH has not yet reached even 10% of its true potential. After bitcoin, ETH looks like the next big thing and a lot of investors like me have already started investing in it. I have a big regret for not getting in to ETH early. When I started, the price of ETH was around $8-$10 so I could have easily bought some coins, but I didn't do it. I could made a few thousand percent of profit by today. However, I have also started investing in bitcoin since last few months now and I believe it remain the second best coin after bitcoin and the price is going to increase manifold in future. Looks great as an investment while it's cheap. I would try to give a safe answer by saying maybe. We havent seen a successful DAPP developed using Ethereum yet and there are some developers who say that there wouldnt be one soon. Maybe if the ICO market keeps growing, then ETH's value could double from where it is now. But other platforms like QTUM and ETC want their share too, so we cant really say what will happen.

check https://lbry.io/, its a filesharing. not exactly youtube but i believe this is what your looking for. Excellent i already research time ago library credits but what do you think about the project? The project is ok from my perspective. The LBC coins are all mined and there was no premine or ICO to take advantage of the ignorance of the altcoin community. They received a seed funding from a small VC for $500,000. That should be enough for their development.

I recommend Burst. I know there were disputes between two factions in the Burst community that was one the causes for its crash. But they are over that and the development is now under the Proof of Capacity Consortium. Its a group made up of bright minds who are determined to bring Burst among the top 50 in market value and more. Follow my Burst weekly report to know more.

I'm trying to find good deals on mining hardware, and I'm wondering whether this website I came across is legit...
I would not trust them with a single cent. They claim to be launched from 2014-2017 but a whois lookup shows that their domain is only registered in October this year. Also their mailing address on the domain registry records is in Hong Kong whilst the address on their site is in China. Unless you're paying with a reversible method such as paypal, don't bother with them. Please make a guide on how to find domain registration dates and other information about a website. That can be a good way to prove that some services that are promoted here are scams. Ty. Also their mailing address on the domain registry records is in Hong Kong whilst the address on their site is in China. What are the implications of a domain registered in Hong Kong but the site is in China? Is that unusual?

Board games for Bitcoin would be interesting for the tabletop industry. Hmm ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It would but not for online chess and checkers. Its very easy to cheat and there are too many A.I. and bots. You can also open a strategy book about chess and try doing all the moves written in the book. Other board games such as backgammon are also solved games and there is no use playing them if you want to win.

I voted for 100 - 199 only because it is the safest guess I can make. But with how the developers handled the pressed hard fork, with no fully formed consensus code, no replay protection and no testing, it can go under $100.
Ask yourself, who are the developers behind it and why do they want to have a premine of 100,000 BTG?

Sadly this is the future, expect more forks and splits in the future driven by pure greed. If it is possible, you will find people that will take advantage. For every one person against this coin, there is another backing it - newbies will be attracted to it as it is being sold as a cheaper and better alternative to bitcoin. The more experienced folks will acquiesce eventually when the con inevitably starts doing well.
It will be the responsibility of the exchanges to warn their users about suspicious hard forks of BTC, from my perspective. Bittrex was good to issue the BTG rightfully for their users, but they have also issued a warning. https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002320451-Statement-on-Bitcoin-Gold-BTG-Bitcoin Gold does not currently have: - Fully formed consensus code
- Implemented replay protection
- Adequate code for testing and auditing
- Publicly known code developers

What kind of advertisements do you have planned? Signature campaigns and bounties? Thats the easiest and cheapest way to promote your exchange in the forum. Go the the services subforum and read threads of the different campaign managers, or open a "looking for a manager" thread yourself and make them come to you.
If you have something else planned, I would be glad to help if I can do the job.

Cointoad, everything will be alright, but keep your TXID ready in case there are complications when your BTC wallet on Bittrex comes online again.
To help you relax send support an email with your TXID and tell them about your situation. Make sure to have their auto-reply email ready. That will be your proof that they have received your message.

With the imminent release of bitcoin gold (another garbage, pointless coin) in the next 24 hours, it's a good time to remind everyone that the developers are shady. This is a China-miner lead fork, it serves no purpose other than the enrichment of the developers. According to Coinbase ( https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2892196-bitcoin-gold-faq?b_id=13521), the developers are pre-mining 100,000 coins before releasing the code to the public. That's shady, garbage, self-enrichment behavior, and I hope this coin flames out because it's clearly designed to only enrich the developers. So essentially, after the fork happens, the only people mining will be the developers, and when they've determined they've made themselves rich enough, they'll release the code to the public while they probably dump their pre-mined coins. Don't be one of the dummies buying. Are there exchanges listing BTG outright after the fork? The developers can dump all 100,000 BTG coins and hold them all in BTC and claim it as a fund for development, while the poor people who support and bought BTG will hold those useless coins and wait for the pump. Thats life in cryptocurrency scams.

Its nice to know that he is a BTC supporter, but calling the US dollar phony is giving it an over simplified view. The Federal Reserve and the US Treasury dont print and issue because they simply need to exert their control, they do it to keep the economy balanced. They will print money to pump it in the economy to try and save it.
There are some people who oppose this, but there are economists who support it, like John Maynard Keynes.

No, its not my blog. I am merely trying to help the Burst community have some presence here in this forum. I am also holding some Bursts and theres a financial motive for doing it.
It also helps that I believe in what the PoCC is doing. It is better to support them than some unknown ICO.
