10801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Low volume trades, No one wants this shitcoin anymore on: May 12, 2015, 09:30:35 PM
There should be a limit on how many account people can create within a certain time frame. This is beyond insane. Same clown makes plenty of accounts each day to troll.
10802  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase officially scams on: May 12, 2015, 09:28:45 PM
Did you buy at the top OP? Cheesy

Most likely the case yes, considering he posted a screenshot from the rocket trying to find its way to the moon animation that was on the front page of the site  Cheesy
10803  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: May 11, 2015, 07:56:05 PM
This is a 2014 poll. Why are people still answering it half-way through 2015?

Why does it matter? OP should remove the year date as the question is not time or year related.
10804  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: May 11, 2015, 07:46:12 PM
At this point I mostly use my btc to get certain jobs done like having a programmer code something for me.

Beside that I am mostly saving/holding coins, and from time to time I buy something if it's priced right.
10805  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-11] Video: ItBit CEO on launching a U.S. approved bitcoin exchange on: May 11, 2015, 07:39:29 PM
The girl says about Bitcoin "it's being used for all sorts of horrible purposes" she clearly don't know much about the real world.

Cash money is also being used for "all sorts of horrible purposes" which means there is no difference. Respect to the ceo who's helping to shape Bitcoin in a positive manner.

10806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Upping the stakes: what if BTC gets to $5000? on: May 11, 2015, 07:29:58 PM
hm, it is possible that bitcoin will gets to 5k$, but there is another question. in this time, what you will be able to buy with 5k btc? gallon of petrol?Smiley

You can buy everything you want already. No need to wait for $5K which isn't going to happen anyway within a decent amount of years.

Simply get yourself a credit card that convert your btc balance to whatever fiat currency you want.

10807  Economy / Speculation / Re: No volume Bull-Traps on: May 11, 2015, 07:25:58 PM
I wonder how much alts this guy has. He makes a new account for each prediction, because it won't become reality.  Cheesy Probably an alt of kwukduck.
10808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Surges Higher (& Higher) on: May 10, 2015, 01:24:31 PM
Whether it goes higher or not, but we are definitely not going down below $200 which beartrolls were barking all the time, and that's making every Bull feel proud considering the current situation.

We are in another deadcat bounce and not yet at the bottom for Bitcoin.

We are going below $150 (within several months) before we go to $1000 again some years later.

And I am not a Bitcoin bear.

I guess we are gonna raise for $1000 without touching $150. You can see the market for now, I think it will hold it just for a moment before it will going to the moon and hope everything is all according to the plan

It won't reach $150 for obvious reasons. But the road to $1000 is still far away. We must be happy to see the price around $500 in 2016 after the halving.
10809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Вo you protect your anonymity? on: May 10, 2015, 01:19:12 PM
I definitely use a mixer to get fresh coins. I use it only when I want to send coins to my cold wallet. So I surely know no one knows what my cold wallet address is.

Bitmixer is doing the job very well for me. No, I don't say this because I wear a Bitmixer signature. Their service is simply the best.
10810  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-08] Bitcoin Exchange BTCXIndia to Close After Losing Bank Account on: May 10, 2015, 01:09:08 PM
This is just another reason, why we must get rid of the power that these institutions have over our money.  Angry

At this stage, we give tem the power... We willingly give our money over to them.

We don't have much choice at this point. You can store your fiat in cash, but that's not a secure way of storing your wealth.

Dumping your fiat in Bitcoin is way too risky currently. Same counts for gold.
10811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: May 10, 2015, 01:02:55 PM
LTC is totally failed, and it have no chance to survive.
Anything LTC can do, BTC can do very well too, So we don't need LTC.

Litecoin didn't fail, it is and will always be an altcoin used for speculative purposes. That's the only thing it is good for.

I agree with how you think about Bitcoin. There is absolutely no need for altcoins.
10812  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-08] Bitcoin Exchange BTCXIndia to Close After Losing Bank Account on: May 09, 2015, 05:51:36 PM
As far as I have been reading, other exchanges operating in India are still working without problems. Perhaps these exchanges will also be affected soon?
10813  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 09, 2015, 05:45:43 PM
Whether you save or invest depends on how much money coming in you have. Personally I like to save most of my money and invest a little in bitcoin. I think bitcoin could be a decent investment in the long run so I plan to hold for a couple of years at least but if bitcoin doesn't really go where I want it to or fails then I'll still have my savings.

I am also saving at this point, even when it gives me barely a decent return. Currently 2.20% anually. Better than nothing, and it's a very safe and stable manner of growing your money.

I hold my coins because I believe in Bitcoin. And from time to time when the price is quite low, I buy and hold, and if the time is right I sell them again. Extra profit  Smiley
10814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Greece bankruptcy fuel the next Bitcoin rally? on: May 09, 2015, 05:26:20 PM
It happened all before with Cyprus in 2013:

Shares of the cyber-currency bitcoin have surged in the past week as investors seek safe havens following the unprecedented bailout of Cyprus' banks.

http://money.cnn.com/2013/03/28/investing/bitcoin-cyprus/

And today:

Schaeuble Warns Defaults Can Surprise Before Greece Test

“Experience elsewhere in the world has shown that a country can suddenly become unable to pay its bills,” Schaeuble said in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung published Saturday.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-05-09/greece-huddles-with-creditors-ahead-of-ecb-test-as-support-slips

Obviously, NO the Greece bankruptcy will not 'fuel' the next bitcoin rally. If we want to see again 1'000 dollars per bitcoin, that in this case we need a person with a lot of dollars (billion or also million $$) and he should buy bitcoin and continue to buy.

It would be great to see a steady but healthy growth over a long period of time. For that to happen there must be genuine demand. I prefer to have genuine demand and a steady rise, rather than a few wealthy investors buying up coins to dump it again at some point. And no, I don't think Greece can trigger a rally.

10816  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: May 09, 2015, 11:16:50 AM
it is impossible for it, for the price of $1000 the second time just very heavy.
but if it happens of course my life will change 360 degrees and will do anything to please all those who are near me Smiley

You mind telling us why your life would change so drastically when Bitcoin reaches $1000? Not because you own a huge load of coins right? Otherwise you wouldn't be participating in a sig campaign.
10817  Economy / Speculation / Re: $245.. on: May 09, 2015, 11:07:03 AM
Every pump is a wasted effort to get the price higher, while whale traders happily dump loads of coins to bring people back to reality.
10818  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: May 08, 2015, 11:57:15 AM
I hope Real Madrid will win Champions League this years.

They wont if they can't even beat Juventus, though the game at home will likely be a similar score to Madrid. I think it will be an all Spanish final but would like to see Bayern in there but they wont beat Barca with their best players out of the team.

Barcelona in current form can beat every team very easily. No team can come close to them right now. If they keep this form then you know who the winner will be.

I think they'd struggle to beat Bayern if they had their full strong team out. Remember, the game was 0-0 up until 80 minutes and possession was almost equal. Does anyone know if the injured players will be back for the second leg? If they are I think it will be quite a different story playing at Bayern's stadium.

Robben's season is over. Ribery might return, but not sure if it is in the next leg. Robben is a rocket, missing him makes bayern less dangerous.

Lewandowski is clearly holding back due to his broken jaw and nose. Can't really blame him. 0-3 will be very hard. Barcelona will definitely score at least 1 goal with the MSN trio.

10820  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-08] Bitcoin exchanges and lack of PGP could be bad news ∙ IHB News™ on: May 08, 2015, 11:13:28 AM
Some times I really wonder what the reason is for exchanges not to fully tighten the security of the exchange. Is it trying to save money? Not willing to annoy users with verification options?

Some exchanges hold hundreds of million worth of $ in Bitcoins, is that not reason enough to build a fort knox type of security around the exchange!?
