10841  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-01] CD: Hollywood Studio Lionsgate Films in Talks to Accept Bitcoin on: May 03, 2015, 12:33:24 PM
This shows that there is a wide variety of industries with a certain interest in offering Bitcoin as payment option. Great news.
10842  Economy / Speculation / Re: The $250 barrier may be broken this month on: May 03, 2015, 12:23:53 PM
Always when it looks like it is going up, there will be a dump bringing the price back to $22X level. Not sure if this is an exception.
10843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: May 02, 2015, 07:45:08 PM
Hi guys! Grin
I saved some money in the last year, now I'm looking for some opportunity in this kind of market to invest my money. Is it better buy altcoins or bitcoin? maybe mining? I'm just a bit confused, but determinate!

Forget about altcoins. Do some research about Bitcoin first, if you think it has potential, buy your first whole Bitcoin and hold it firmly.
10844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bold statement: Next target is low ~$700s (Awaiting scream of laughter) on: May 02, 2015, 07:37:24 PM
i think BTC will stay between 200$ to 400$ in next 6 to 10 months.

Same here. It would be a big surprise if it would go above $400 this year. I'm already happy to see stable $300 level.
10845  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: May 01, 2015, 10:50:20 PM
Stop suggesting people to gamble in order to double their coins. That's just a horrible advice. You'll always lose in the long run.

Nothing beats Bitcoin trading if you have patience. Buying low and selling high will be the safest way, especially if you understand how markets work.
10846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin wallet that gives interest upon deposit? on: May 01, 2015, 10:39:35 PM
Cryptsy paying some small amounts as balance rebates after your BTC, LTC, XRP, and USD holdings. More info here (on the bottom of the page):
https://www.cryptsy.com/pages/fees

Cryptsy is totally not worth it. The amount they are willing to give is so small that you can consider it dust.
10847  Economy / Economics / Re: Best exchange? on: April 30, 2015, 09:20:43 PM
For me BTC-E and Bitstamp are exchanges I never had any issues with. At this point they are not exchanges with the highest volume, but if you remove the fake volume from the Chinese exchanges, BTC-E and Bitstamp will compete on top.
10848  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-30] Coindesk - Remove Satoshi As Founding Members says BTC Foundation on: April 30, 2015, 09:11:36 PM
Bitcoin foundation is nothing more than a look at me I'm important club. These people are champion in filling their own pockets with little to no effort.
10849  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTCe action today on: April 30, 2015, 09:04:09 PM
Interestingly BTC-e is still online, there have been no rollbacks and everything seems to be in order. Even the price is holding well and still going up a bit. This only leaves one real explanation: That was, indeed, real buying pressure and no panic buying, in order to get FIAT out of the exchange by converting it to BTC!

BTC-E is indeed still online. Is that so weird? It was just a fun pump, or some whale traders knowing something we don't.

BTC-E as exchange with the highest price. That's not something we have seen a lot before  Cheesy
10850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: April 30, 2015, 08:58:23 PM
I predict 1,000% increase if coinbase goes public.

Taking a private company, and goes public and get a ton of investors who want to be involved but not touch bitcoin directly and still make a profit.

But, who knows it may or may not happen, seeing how facebook did it why not coinbase right?

Facebook is easily accessible for people. Bitcoin is not. As long as that doesn't change we won't see any kind of Bitcoin service / exchange achieve what facebook did.

10852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stay away from bitcoin ! on: April 29, 2015, 02:14:03 PM
You can't ask people to stay away if you don't go away first. So good luck with everything, bye.
10853  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-e fiat deposit/withdrawal on: April 29, 2015, 02:08:46 PM
the thing is ive been doing wire transfers multiple times, and it never takes this long.

As Amph stated, it can take up to 10 days. Which in most cases won't take that long, but some times it does. Also keep the holidays in mind.

If after 10 days still nothing shows up, then submit a support ticket. Provide them all details you can think of as that would speed things up considerably.
10854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2015, 01:59:19 PM
I am trading to make my Bitcoin stash grow. And I have been doing quite well this year. The huge swing from $180 to $250 made me a good bit of profit. Patience is the key.
10855  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-28] Bitfinex Completes AlphaPoint Integration on: April 29, 2015, 01:52:04 PM
I like how Bitfinex aims to offer great trading features to satisfy its customers. Great example of how an exchange should be.

Bitfinex gained a lot high volume traders who clearly didn't get what they were looking for on other exchanges.
10856  Other / Off-topic / Re: Watching BTCe live trading and orderbook is like watching this... on: April 28, 2015, 11:46:50 AM
Mostly when the price is about to explode, BTC-E is always very slow, which is probably caused by a few who are ddossing the exchange.

That wasn't the case yesterday, so it's most likely a fun pump. I hope not much people were tricked to buy in over $260.
10857  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-27] Wired: Overstock Files to Offer Stock That Works Like Bitcoin on: April 28, 2015, 11:38:05 AM
Overstock CEO is a perfect example of how a CEO should be. He isn't affraid to make necessary changes where needed to make things future proof.

I'm only not sure how achievable it is. Changing something that is controlled by hard headed zombies won't be easy.
10858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help for people affected by Nepal earthquake on: April 28, 2015, 11:28:56 AM
Unfortunately there are people willing to take advantage of such a horrible happening to scam people who are willing to donate. (not saying OP is)

If people want to donate, then better to it via the official ways. Then you know your money will find its way to where it is needed.
10859  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTCe action today on: April 28, 2015, 11:23:07 AM
I wonder how many people cashed out their Bitcoins from exchanges like Bitstamp and Bitfinex to sell them at BTC-E.

After their deposit posted on BTC-E the price was back to normal and these people got upset  Grin
10860  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: April 27, 2015, 09:01:23 PM
I don't hold BTC. I think it's better to hold altcoin and try to compound a move in both when selling for dollars eventually. These days I'm really heavy on casinocoin for example.

Why dont hold btc, but you hold altcoin?
I think its better to hold btc and not altcoin. because altcoin can't up to $1000 or more.
altcon for short term and bitcoin for long term.

Holding altcoins is like intentionally destroying your money. People should know that by now. Bitcoin is the only coin worth holding if you look at its possibilities.
