LONDON — Canada is luring bitcoin mining companies to its shores as China, the current global hub of crypto mining, looks to crackdown on the sector's energy usage.
Several industry sources Business Insider spoke to this week said that bitcoin miners are thinking of moving to Canada after lobbying from the country's energy industry. Quebec specifically has been wooing bitcoin miners in the hopes of boosting local economies.
Reuters reported on Friday that Bitmain, the world's biggest blockchain mining company, is looking at moving operations to Canada and said utility company Hydro Quebec is in talks with around 30 large cryptocurrency miners about potential moves. BTC.Top, another major miner, is also setting up shop in Canada.
"We’ve seen a lot of movement towards Canada," Chris Keshian, the CEO of San Francisco-based Apex Token Fund, a fund of crypto hedge funds, told Business Insider. "The Canadian government is relatively friendly towards cryptocurrencies [and] energy is relatively cheap there."

Hello, I am quite new to crypto world but trying to catch up.
I got some bit coins in Localbitcoins.com exchange but I didn't made any trades yet and got 0 respect, just verified phone, facebook, ID, etc.
I have few questions about payment methods like International bank transfer (SEPA). I noticed that most traders selling BTC submit their "Payment window" 90-180 mins.
Now Im not sure but I think international bank transfers take 1-2 days for money to appear in receiver bank account. So how do they see if payment is really done?
Also if I have none made trades so far and and zero respect, how do I start building it up?
I also recommended face to face dealing and use localbitcoin as a place to find buyer/seller. Bitcoin fee and site fee is so high, I lost 35$ to sell 100$ when using localbitcoin escrow. you can use coinbase if your country supports it. |

my reasons that make bitcoin is so much special than others currency for me is:
1. p2p cryptocurrency and it’s price effect in all altcoins.
2. Most sites accept bitcoin more than other cryptocurrencies.
3. you can buy Gold, Silver, Cash and other altcoins when using bitcoin.
4. it is easy to exchange it and send it.
5. Global and some hotels accept it.

I was able to send coin to my blockchain wallet just fine, but when I click send the "to" field will not load. It loads if I choose Etherum or BCH, but never loads (waited 15 minutes, rebooted, changed circuits) if I click to send bitcoin.
I am using tor and have even tried enabling JavaScript. Please help!
I've encountered this problem multiple times and this is my solutions (google chrome / windows 8.1): 1. close my browser. 2. open cmd (click "window + R" and write "cmd" ). 3. wirte"ipconfig /renew". 4. colse cmd ---> open browser ----> clear cache.

i sell when i fell price will go down. it is better to start trading with bitcoin more than just simple holding. you say you buy when price was 12k and will wait (2-4) years for bitcoin to break 250,000$ (if this happen) this is only about 20 multiply price which can happen easy with altcoins. |

1. Blockchain.info doesn't store your password. 2. only private key and 12 words will help you to back your access. 3. use your email to get your wallet id "like username" 4. if you use an easy password and know part of password ask a trusted member to crack your wallet. |
