10881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 210: Cormier vs Johnson Info and Prediction Thread on: March 17, 2017, 03:56:32 AM
At first, my initial impression when I heard about a rematch between Cormier and Johnson was 'meh', but now after watching the extended preview, I was like 'hmmm, this could be interesting'.  Picking the winner is a tough call, but I'm leaning towards Rumble Johnson here.  But has he overcome his mental weakness when it comes to fighting Cormier?

Watch the preview.  It's good.

LTC/BTC:  The Bitcoin Civil War and the Search for Shelter

All the drama in Bitcoin is getting crazy right now.  BU is gaining ground and the rule of Core might come to an end by first quarter of 2018 (Ok, that's highly doubtful.  Just saying that for suspense value for the thread. Lol.).  With all the craziness taking place it might be good to bet heavy on a stable altcoin.  My advice:  Go for Litecoin.

10884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOLz Laimers quits Steem on: March 16, 2017, 06:46:04 AM
Hmmm, yeah... I am done defending the Larimers. Such a shame too, because Dan is one of the few that can actually deliver a road map while being innovative at the same time.

I can also admit that the Steem ecosystem was doomed to fail from the start. I previously thought that it could of been made to work, but nope. Just no...

so bitshares .... steem.... now where?

This is my best educated guess: https://www.peerplays.com

There is some profit to be made from Dan's projects if you get out at the right time. 😉

Yeah, I did some subtle defending on them too because I thought some of the people here were too aggressive on them.  Only later did I realize that it's true.  Maybe the reason why we thought they could deliver was because we were too enamored with what they claimed they would create.  And yes, making us rich in the process.  After BTS2.0 that's when I stopped coming here at the altcoin sub regularly.
10885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 212: Aldo vs Holloway Info and Prediction Thread on: March 16, 2017, 06:37:01 AM
Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum are set to fight in this event.  Imho, I think this is a big mistake for Anderson to fight him this early after his bout with Brunson.  He didn't look good then and I bet he wouldn't look good vs Gastelum either.  He should give it more time before fighting again.  He's over 40 ffs.
10886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PSA: Nitrogen Account w/ 2FA Compromised and Emptied on: March 16, 2017, 06:26:23 AM
Tbh I think it's impossible to bypass 2FA remotely.  So can Nitrogen employees bypass it locally?  I think the answer to that is definitely a no too.  I also think this is a first if FeelsBadMan's 2FA was hacked.  This case could be bigger than we think.  Computer security experts could benefit from learning in this hack.
10887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 16, 2017, 06:13:32 AM
Thinking of adding another bet.  Sunderland to win Burnley +0 if I could find decent odds starting at 1.90ish.  Burnle sucks away and Sunderland is getting desperate in the relegation zone.  I think Moyes could inspire his squad to a couple of wins at home.  This match could be one of them.
10888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 16, 2017, 06:07:24 AM
Manchester city play not good tonight, i lose money on them not going through to the next stage of the champions league. I thought when they score to make it 2-1 that city would hold on but Monaco score a goal 6 minute later and that was the end of city  Angry

Monaco played with the motivation from the start they get points away goal in the first leg
And finally in the second leg they really beat Man city, we will not see a team of premier league in CL

I agree as Monaco were motivated to win by their performance against Man City in the 1st leg as they dominated that 1st leg as well in the 1st half. And the same once again in the 2nd leg and Man City were simply no match for them. Sorry about you loss crypto and you wouldn't of been the only one to lose on Man City going through as a lot of people had them making the semi-finals of the Campions League this season.

The problem is why Manchester City keep using the same strategy on 2nd leg even they lead 5-3 on the 1st leg. I think Pep must try play defensive when they already lead the game. It's really sucks though, Man City can't qualify to present EPL and only 1 team from england Leicester City that can qualify. Actually i'm interested how long Leicester City can survive on Champion League.

What?  No!  What game were you watching?  Or did you even watch it?  The reason why City lost is because they were not attacking as they should.  The second half was ok, but in the first half, Silva, KDB and even Fernandinho looked shell shocked playing against Monaco.  There was no conviction.  They should have pressured Monaco more, but no.  When the second half came, it was too late.

Hi Nitrogensports, I see that you're now laying odds on futures at Formula 1.  Will we be also seeing lines available per race?  Please let it be so, you're now the only sports betting site I use in my favorite sports to bet on.  Adding F1 to your roster will definitely be great as that would make you a one stop shop for me.

Wtf?  Why are you copy/pasting my post?  Reporting you to a mod.
10890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PSA: Nitrogen Account w/ 2FA Compromised and Emptied on: March 15, 2017, 07:10:24 PM
Is it even possible to bypass 2FA if a site has been hacked?  I could see a few things going on here.

1. OP is lying.
2. Nitrogen is hacked.
3. An inside job.
4. Buggy code on Nitrogen.

Do you mind telling us how much you lost and can you show us the transactions on the blockchain?

It was a careless tackle from Herrera.  He should know better and should not get carried away from all the action.

Yeah that is true but still no way a 2nd yellow card by usual standards, it was pretty stupid by him though.  Ref killed the game after that it was impossible for united.

That I can totally agree with.  Coming into this game, between these two clubs, and knowing the recent history between them, the ref should expect a very hard fought battle.  I was looking forward to how rough this game would be, but no.  The ref did spoil everything.

Anyway...  I got three bets for this week's matches.  LCFC to win vs Westham +0 at 2.41.  Momentum is on the Foxes side and all the positivity from their biggest win will translate to the league, hopefully.  Everton to win vs Hull -1 at 1.90.  Relegation reality should be sinking in with Hull right now.  And Tottenham vs Southampton over 2.5 goals at 1.92.  Kane's injury wasn't as serious as they thought according to some football news websites.

What do you guys think of the bets?  I would love to hear all your comments.
10893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 15, 2017, 03:47:36 AM
I am expecting a liecsester revival and feel they can at least Make a comeback.

They are the club to fear due to the luck they have been having.  Not saying they're not working hard or anything, but this situation reminds me of Chelsea's CL win under Roberto Di Matteo.

City shall no doubt qualify, unless they do something really foolish to not to. The main focus would be on tomorrow's fixture Manchester United is hurting and hurting bad. They not only lost the match, but now been fined by FA, they have a red card for Herrera, and I think they will remove entire frustration on the pitch tomorrow with a big margin victory, however overconfidence is not nice, as it could badly back fire. Let's hope for some crazy money making chances. What are your expected scorelines?

I actually fear for City.  Dealing with Monaco, away is no joke.  The good news is Falcao may not start due to a hip injury.  He may play at the second half tho.  But a Falcao-less Monaco is still dangerous considering how bad City's defense is at times.  I hope Kompany comes back soon.
10894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 14, 2017, 06:56:28 AM

I am sure, Man Utd will do everything to lift the trophy, they are aware to play in UCL is not possible from the local league, maybe the end of the season Man Utd will place 5 or 6 rank. If they can't playing in UCL, this is danger for Mourinho and can't stop Ibra to leave Man Utd.

Top 4 is still mathematically possible for Man United.  Chelsea will dip in form, Liverpool is showing the signs and Arsenal is halfway there.  Tottenham just lost Kane to injury and Man City is inconsistent.  Top 4 is not over yet for United.

I also just made a couple of bets.  LCFC vs Sevilla, under 2.5 goals at 2.21 and my mandatory bet for my beloved Man City to win vs Monaco +0 at 1.95.  There are sites that says Falcao is injured thru a hip bruise, but others say he's gonna play.  Does anyone have the real info?

Thanks for the info.  It's nice to see another avid fan of the UFC who does a lot of research too.  Please post in the UFC threads more, would be glad to learn and get more news and info from you.

Anyway, for this event, all I'm looking forward to is Gunnar Nelson vs  Alan Jouban.  The rest not so much.

Bingo!  ETC is moving!  Now let's see how long this will last.  I have noticed that altcoin trends don't last as long as they did two or three years ago.  Maybe this is because the market doesn't have that many newbies anymore...?  Another reason could be because the market is more cautious and don't buy the idea that altcoins will replace Bitcoin as much as it used to.  I'm sure most of you were or maybe are still a victim of that kind of thinking.
10897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 14, 2017, 06:30:50 AM
You guys ready for the big quarter final game between Man United and Chelsea later?  This will be another Chelsea dominating win, I think.  United will be having a hard time to score goals without king Ibra unless the others step up their game.  Easy bet for Chelsea if there are decent odds left.

Without ibra i dont see any decent attack options for united. They need to sign griezmann and the market odds are looking like that may happen.

Man United could be the favorite to acquire him but I think he's gonna stay at Atletico.  Mourinho could get Alexis Sanchez instead as he's unhappy with Arsenal.  There are also other options across Europe which United should have no problems with financially.  Another point is United should have CL football to attract the top players.

Even though Chelsea dominated and won the match, They definitely had help from the referee who made some bizarre and ridiculous decisions that made the game even harder for the Manchester United Players. The referee past decisions in previous matches against the team is very apparent. I doubt the Chelsea would have won had all 11 players were on the pitch.

It was a careless tackle from Herrera.  He should know better and should not get carried away from all the action.
10898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 13, 2017, 11:45:43 AM
Mourinho once again comes to Stamford Bridge as the opponent's team manager. 5 months ago in the league match against this field, Chelsea literally wiped out the opponent and won 4-0. Ibrahimovic in Manchester United, who faced Rostov in the Europa League, was sentenced to 3 games as he thundered his rival in the Bournemouth league match. This season it was the clearest scorer name of the team with 26 goals in 39 games.

Old news.  And everyone who regularly posts in this thread knows about it.  No need to keep posting it again and again.  But yeah, from a betting standpoint it's easy to bet against United if without Ibra.  But I wonder what the lines would be if he wasn't under a three match ban.  Probably closer to evens?  I think United has the squad to beat Chelsea.

ETC/BTC:  Safe to Buy Now?

This could be a safe time to buy ETC right now.  The price is near the all time bottom (as ETC, exclude the price before the fork) and its fiat value seems stable enough to justify a buy.  What do you guys think?  Will ETC follow ETH in making over a billion USD market cap?  I think it can considering all the development being done and more development planned for the future.  Some might argue it's 'undervalued' right now.
