10881  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Several domains. on: April 24, 2015, 01:35:55 PM
If you posted the expiration date for each one, it would be more interesting and easier than having to go through each one.
You're right, have done it.

I am interested in XBT.help but I'm looking to swap them for 2-3 domains I won on an auction in which you had ~10 domains. Please PM me if you're itnerested
I'm not really interested in domain trades as I want to sell most of my lower valued domains.

Is escrowsatoshi.com still available?
Yes.
Alright, good luck with sales. Sorry to bother you mate.

No problem Smiley

10883  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-23] Fusion: Why Bitcoin’s male domination will be its downfall on: April 24, 2015, 01:20:55 PM
And another story full of shit. Some people can better keep their mouth shut instead of talking nonsense. To me every one is equal, doesn't matter if that person is a male or female Bitcoiner.

Bitcoin will only fail if there is no demand for it in the future, or quantum computers that will find a way to crack it. But that's very far away, if it's ever going to happen.
10884  Economy / Speculation / Re: oscillating pattern says we leave $200 1 june on: April 24, 2015, 01:11:59 PM
We will be under $100 way before 1st of July..
Pressure is building up really strong.. upcoming crash is going to be devastating.

You wrote this before or after being heavily intoxicated? It doesn't make sense for the price the to sub $100 and you know that.
10885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Satoshi's coins be deleted? on: April 23, 2015, 09:19:41 PM
I don't mind Satoshi his coins at all, he deserves them in full if he really happens to have that many coins. Deleting coins/value is never a good idea.

I'm also pretty sure that these coins won't move as he had the chance to sell his coins at the +$1000 peak if he wanted to. Coins will sleep for ever.

10886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Superwallet + China = Moon? on: April 23, 2015, 09:11:19 PM
Can't see this "Super Wallet" having a significant impact on the price, if any. I'm sure it will be useful for some people, but it's not big enough.
10887  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing Bitcoin in standard assets on: April 23, 2015, 09:05:11 PM
The idea itself is good, but how do you convice people to use your service as it is very new and not many people have heard of it.

Don't get me wrong, but at this point there are plenty of fly-by exchanges, sites, services, etc who will run with funds after a while.

10888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we'll look back on bitcoin and think that it grew amazingly fast? on: April 23, 2015, 08:54:57 PM
In my opinion, the technology is moving fast but the acceptance of Bitcoin and cryptocoin in common stuck. I guess it needs a new good reason for most people to think about an alternative like a new financial crisis.

I don't think the acceptance of Bitcoin is stuck. It's a new kind of technology with the potential to change the current financial system.

Acceptance and adoption will take time. At this point several fiat currencies are heaving severe problems, that will make people search for alternatives.

Oh no.... I noticed this:

Quote
At one time they owned 1% of all mined bitcoin

What does that mean? Does that mean that they are no longer in the possession of the 100K coins, which they bought in 2013? Did they dumped most of their coins?

I think they meant they owned 1% off all Bitcoins in existence at that time. Were much further now, so with more Bitcoins in circulation their percentage is decreased for obvious reasons.

It must be that as I have seen quite a recent video from the Winklevoss bro's saying 'we haven't sold a single Bitcoin'.

Winklevoss twins always say the same. I hope this time will be different as I expect them to air some news regarding their Gemini exchange.

They were very loud at the beginning, but last weeks / month there haven't been much talk about it. Looking forward to it.
10891  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-22] CD: OKCoin Superwallet Outlines New Blueprint for Bitcoin Industry on: April 22, 2015, 08:20:07 PM
While the idea itself is definitely having potential, they only should rethink their slogan. "Your Money. Your Control" That's not really what it is.

OKCoin is still in full control of the fiat money which makes it not entirely "Our Money". Anyway, let's see how it works out.
10892  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are so many people mean here?! lol on: April 22, 2015, 08:11:17 PM
50% nice, and 50% not so nice. Keeps everything well balanced.
10893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking News! Gavin and Bitcoin Core devs join MIT Media Labs on: April 22, 2015, 08:08:33 PM
Time will tell if MIT will be a better option than the so hated Bitcoin Foundation. From what I understand this looks like a step forward.

10896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: April 22, 2015, 12:17:00 PM
I do trust some of them to a certain extent, like Bitstamp and BTC-E, but not enough to leave coins there. However I do have a fiat balance there.

After all the hacking drama it gives me a piece of mind that my coins are under my control.
10897  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many of you signature campaign posters sell your coins once you received it? on: April 22, 2015, 11:57:41 AM
I don't sell any. Every time I reach at least 0.25BTC I mix the coins and then send it to one of my cold wallets.

So you're saying that you don't use bitcoins at all? Everything eventually ends in cold wallet?

I use Bitcoin everyday. I have different wallets for spending. Coins earned with sig campaigns will not be spended.
10898  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: April 22, 2015, 11:50:16 AM
These people really don't understand what is bitcoin, it decentralized, that means it will never be died. It's can't be killed.
Bitcoin CAN die, it can't be killed by government easily because of it's decentralized nature but if enough people loose faith in it after something like another mt gox type of incident then the price will go down with demand, miners won't be able to pay there bills so they will turn off there miners and it could actualy die quite quick.
I really hope it doesn't go that way, bitcoin is something special that i hope is around for a long time to come.

maybe bitcoin can be killed but its technology will live forever, i won't be surprised if another coin came out after the death of

Mostly everything in life gets replaced by something better. Eventually that might also be the case for Bitcoin.

But the beauty of Bitcoin is that it is open source. Everything around it can be changed where needed to make it future proof.
10899  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-04-21] WSJ: Latin America Facebook Rival to Use Bitcoin to Pay for Content on: April 22, 2015, 11:41:44 AM
When Facebook realize that they can't stay behind and potentially will lose a lot members they might also accept Bitcoin for payments.

Look at the Google, Apple, Samsung, etc. They all are affraid to stay behind with their wallet services. So they try to top each other. I hope the same will happen with social networks accepting Bitcoin.
10900  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 satoshi = 1$ when? on: April 22, 2015, 11:31:34 AM
After forth halving there will ~1.3 million will be left. I think , after 2024 we can see $ 100k+/BTC. About 2025-2030 we can see 100 sat = 1 $

It will never reach $100K per coin, no matter how much coins there are left to be mined. Keep dreaming. At most it might be between $5-$10K, if ever.
