10901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: January 17, 2017, 05:12:08 AM
How could I have missed this piece of news...  This is the best thing that happened for UFC 208.  Without it I don't think I'll make an effort and waste my money to get PPV just to watch it.  Anderson Silva being in the event makes a huge improvement in the main card.

Anderson Silva vs. Derek Brunson set for UFC 208 in Brooklyn
http://www.mmafighting.com/2017/1/13/14270364/anderson-silva-vs-derek-brunson-set-for-ufc-208-in-brooklyn

Can't wait to see the legend fight in the octagon again.

10902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson Info and Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2017, 07:05:02 AM
So Mark Hunt is still in the UFC 209 fight card. I thought he will not be given any fights because he sued UFC after his fight with Lesnar.

Tyron Woodley versus Stephen Thompson is something to look forward after their first face off, I still think the Stephen Thompson have a chance to beat Woodley but I am not down playing Woodley, he is talented and he sure is can deliver a hard jab.

It might all be just a threat from Hunt or he's doing this as a publicity stunt to attract the crowd.  But remember, the threat of doing something is sometimes much more advantageous than actually doing it.  It will all end with a settlement involving millions of USD for Hunt.

Can't believe Man city lost to Everton So badly. I thought they would atleast give a tough fight but they lost terribly . After first half I thought Man city would come back well and atleast draw this one , anyways congrats to Everton and the young players who scored their first goals .

Yeah I kinda was expecting Man City to lose but not lose this badly.  Pep clearly needs to reflect and adapt to the English game.  Was it Falconer who said that Pep will have a hard time in England and I strongly disagreed?  Well I guess I'm eating my words now.

Maybe Pep needs to revamp the squad more to the style he wants his team to play.  That would mean hundreds of million spent in the summer transfer window.  Whoop dee doo!  Sad
10904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 103: Rodriguez vs. Penn Info and Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2017, 06:56:14 AM
I really felt sorry for B.J. Penn as I was watching the event.  My friend and I were talking about it and how it all lead up to this.  I think Penn is broke and needs the money.  He took this fight to probably support his family financially more than to become a contender again.  All the hype and marketing done in this fight is all BS and the fight is totally garbage.

In the meant time the Poloniex whales are done with LBC/BTC and all eyes are back to SC/BTC.  There were two monster buys made today that drove the price up and is now stable at .00000045 BTC.  I guess it's now or never before another monster buy happens in an hour or two.

Everton vs Manchester City
Morgan Schneiderlin should be ready for his first debut for Everton, heard that he is impressive on training. This is actually a brand new start, he never got enough time in MU, big challenge for him to face his former team derby rivalry today. Pep guardiola have to becareful, if Man City doesn't get a win, they will currently be pushing out from UCL spot. Everton +1 @ 1.57

Yup.  He's in the current line up but only as a sub.  I don't think he'll be given a chance to play today since they're up against Man City.  Koeman will probably give him some game time vs easier opponents.  He needs to get used to his new club first.
10907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [E-SPORTS] ASL S2 (Starcraft/Broodwar Tourney) Info and Prediction Thread on: January 15, 2017, 12:52:17 PM
Sea went through to the finals.  It was a really good match since it was decided with all 5 games being played.  Hopefully Flash vs Jaedong will be as exciting on Tuesday.  I'm rooting for Jaedong because I hate a Terran vs Terran finals.

LBC/BTC:  Going Super Nova?

So yeah, the first thing I did when I noticed LBC was moving I immediately make a thread about it here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1752048.0

I was surprised that no one was really interested in the move as it has the makings of becoming a 'Super Nova'.  That's a term coined by a day trader named Timothy Sykes.  Look him up and watch his videos.

The next thing I did was go to Coinmarketap and look at its market capitalization.  Again it was surprising that it was valued under 1m USD (during that time).  Imagine if it could get pumped all the way to the top 10.  So we could either trade it and make some BTC profit or just be in the sidelines and whine about how altcoins are all a scam.  Your pick.
10909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 15, 2017, 07:41:26 AM
Super big match for today, Manchester United vs Liverpool. Will watch this live for sure, i'm sure this match will be very interesting. I have bet over 2.5 for this match, i hope many goals will happen and drama too. This  2 teams are rivals.

Knowing Mourinho, he will opt for a counter attacking style in this match.  He will bide his time and let his team wait for a good opportunity to score a goal.  I think the score line will most likely be 1 - 0 for Man United.
10910  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 110BTC MAX WIN, MOST ADVANCED, SECURE, PACESETTER CASINO. on: January 14, 2017, 10:39:55 AM
Just wondering how's the traffic in the site going?  Is it getting large enough to add player vs player games like poker or maybe 1v1 craps or yatze?  I like playing dice games but sometimes I crave playing player vs player games and would hate the process of transferring Bitcoins to another site and then wait.
10911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [LBC] LBRY Speculation Thread on: January 14, 2017, 10:19:08 AM

Hello.  I'm just starting this thread for LBRY speculation discussion purposes.  I'll still continue posting charts and my thought process in my speculation thread though.

Anyway, LBC seems to be breaking out right now.  Please post comments and your opinions.  If you know of any rumors or any new developments in the project, don't hesitate to post below.  Smiley
10912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: England Championship Prediction Thread... on: January 14, 2017, 06:18:10 AM
Judging by how Newcastle is faring, I can see that Benitez isn't exactly having an easy time at the Championship.  One would mostly think he's gonna own everyone over there and be up ahead by at least 10 points or something.  Anyhow I hope they get promoted.  That's another elite manager added to the EPL.
10913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson Info and Prediction Thread on: January 14, 2017, 06:07:24 AM
Some good news for the UFC fans in this forum!

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson Confirmed for UFC 209
https://www.rt.com/sport/373535-khabib-nurmagomedov-tony-ferguson-ufc209/

Now things got really interesting as far as the LW division is concerned.  I'm rooting for Khabib to win just because I wanna see him and McGregor fight for the real belt.  That's gonna be a big one.
10914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: January 14, 2017, 05:57:17 AM
Memphis & Januzaj on Lyon wishlist. Lyon have made enquiries about out-of-favour Manchester United duo Adnan Januzaj and Memphis Depay. Januzaj is currently on loan at Sunderland but wants to leave Old Trafford permanently. Hope there is still a chance for both of these players at MU.
i heard that Memphis doesn't looks happy in Manchester United because he has very rare to be played by Mourinho and i think very unfortunate if Manchester United wasted his talent and if this rumour really happening i think memphis should be makes some decission because it's not good to be reserve player too long for his own career

No offense, but Memphis is not that good since he moved to Manchester. Perhaps Premier League is not the right place for his career, too hard for him to adapt in. Its better to move to other leagues where he can show off. It is also wasting money for MU to keep this player on Old Trafford, so let him go is the best choice. Lend him to other teams where he can get more time to play would be another options as MU may take him back if he can show his real talent.

Maybe he wasn't really that good to begin with.  Period.  He came from the Eredivisie and that league is far from the EPL in terms of class and skill level.  He's still young, the skill gap between the two leagues is too huge for some players to bridge.  It might be better for him to move to Italy, then go to Germany or Spain.  If he raises his skill level up, then he can play for a big club in the Premier League.
10915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 14, 2017, 05:52:00 AM
Liverpool is in a hard situation, Henderson's injury, Mane in AFCON. And Liverpool also not win a single match in 2K17. The othe side, Manchester united is in very good situation. 9 wins in a row in all competition is the best record br Mou in Manchester United. So for the clash in Sunday, I think old trafford will be a nightmare for Liverpool.
i must admit that Manchester United has found their rhythm because every match playing better and regarding this match maybe will be hard match for Liverpool because as you said that Liverpool not really good but their opponent Manchester United had good shape and i think for this match i would putting small amount bitcoin to pick Manchester United ML

But jurgen klopp has do something big than mourinho do with manchester united, see how best liverpool now. they are playing very attractive have solid defense even get hard attack like when against manchester city, they are still win.

Rofl.  Now you're just talking out of your ass there.  Lucky you your campaign manager doesn't know anything about football or you could flagged for this post.  LFC's problem IS the defense.  One thing good they have in that position is Matip.  But only because they got him on a free transfer.  So he's definitely worth it.

And no, Klopp can't do 'something big' because his squad is over fatigued.  Mourinho knows this and he's smelling blood.
10916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [E-SPORTS] ASL S2 (Starcraft/Broodwar Tourney) Info and Prediction Thread on: January 14, 2017, 05:42:07 AM
Round of 4 (aka the semi-finals) is starting tomorrow.  First match will be Best (Protoss) against Sea (Terran), the second match will be Flash (Terran) vs Jaedong (Zerg) which will actually play like it was the finals since Flash and Jaedong are considered to be the top player at each of the race their playing.

These are the odds as of today as offered by Nitrogensports:

Best, Money Line - 2.156
Sea, Money Line - 1.662

Flash, Money Line - 1.345
Jaedong, Money Line - 3.12

I personally haven't made any bets yet as I have made some wrong decisions.  So I will take my time before making a bet.  And the lines move a lot so it ain't a bad idea to try and get some value.
10917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time? on: January 13, 2017, 06:23:32 AM
its rarely been a good idea to wait.

i'd say get some now, and get some later when the price drop, and get more when the price drops, and get even more when the price drops even lower, and buy even more when the price drops lower still

the idea is at one point it will stop dropping and you'll have bought an amount you're comfortable with

plan a price you think bitcoin has a reasonable shot at reaching assuming it crashes really hard after lots of unexpected bad news,  so like 400 or 500?

dont assume we're going to have wave after wave of bad news and selling, and wait for that price, it'll never come... just consider it a possibility.

then buy some right now ( cuz you're bullish ) but not to much, enough so if it drops -20% your kinda sad but not stressed ...

price drops -20%? you're still bullish on bitcoin? part of you has been hoping for lower prices? you not stressed! you know what to do!  Wink

Lol.  Tell that to the guy who bought at 1000+ USD.  Cheesy  I mean come on, if you want to buy Bitcoin because you intend to hodl, then it's better to get in at a better price.  Always this should be done in stocks and commodities.  Why should you treat Bitcoin differently as an investment?
10918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp will add XRP (Ripple) in trade market on: January 13, 2017, 06:18:23 AM
Ripple is one of the top coins as far as volume and has partnerships with major banks.
I'm not super familiar with the technology, unfortunately. Does this coin have real long-term potential?

I've been hoping for a price increase for a few months now.
Even it it was worth ten cents, I would have a huge return on my investment.
If the coin ever got to $1, I would be able to buy a house. A boy can dream, can't he?  Grin Tongue

I don't think there was really a formal partnership with the major banks.  They used the technology for a test run and it seems that's just about it as far as where the 'partnership' went.  I mean really, if the banks were really happy with what they've seen, wouldn't Ripple be in wide use by them right now?

Monero:  Monero Core GUI Beta 1 Released

I think there will come a time when both Litecoin and Monero will try to outdo each other by trying to come out with better technology.  For now Monero has the edge over Litecoin.  Litecoin never really 'pushed the envelope' as they say.  They had a few years of being stagnant and maybe now they realized that they should be getting of their asses and start developing and improving again.  That's good to see.

And I'm removing Namecoin.

Check this fight out between Joe Lauzon and Diego Sanchez.  Now Lauzon isn't a particularly one of the best fighters but he fights pretty good and bloody.  He like getting in the pocket and he isn't holding anything back.  He's my bet to win this Sunday.
