Frankly, I don't buy this either for the reasons ^^^ mentioned, plus Edwardard from what I've seen is a pretty decent campaign manager. Not that trusted people on bitcointalk never scam or turn rogue, because they do, but this whole thing doesn't make a lot of sense. What's needed here is for Edwardard himself to come and present his side of the story. He's been running campaigns now for quite a while and is a name that everyone mentions when they list trusted campaign managers. I'd really, really hate to see another good person here go to the dark side.
And yeah, how could dmarket not have noticed that there was a campaign in their name being run--that makes about ZERO sense to me.

Just a word to the unwise: Be careful dealing with PayPal and noobs. They do not mix well, and you shouldn't be surprised when the noob does a chargeback--even if it's $5 worth of PayPal. This one right here is a risk I personally wouldn't take, but I'm sure there's another unwitting victim who'd be more than happy to do it. Beware.
And LOL: "Boosted" means "stolen" in certain circles. That should be a dead giveaway not to deal with him.
Edit: onnz423, I sent you a PM about the dogecoin you're looking to sell.

I can't stand bitcoiners on this forum, but not necessarily in general. One of the good things about bitcoin is that everyone is chasing the same thing, worldwide. That's not the case with US dollars, beanie babies, or a lot of other things, and it's the reason why we're above $8000 right now.
Even the scummy shitposters are chasing the same bitcoin--and that part of it I can appreciate. Though I wish at least 75% of them would drop off the face of the earth, they do contribute to the economy. That's a good thing. I just wish they'd stick to the local boards and leave the rest of us who can communicate properly alone.
Then there's the scammers. I realize they exist with every asset, but it seems as though bitcoin attracts a disproportionate amount of them. That might not be exactly true, but it seems that way.

Bitcoin is better than gold? Bitcoin is gold 2.0? Bitcoin VS Gold What is your biggest regret with bitcoin? how did you earn your first bitcoins? how to make bitcoins? Housewife bitcoin? teenagers bitcoin? How bitcoin help the economy? How bitcoin helps the regional economy? Bitcoin reached $8000 Good news, Bitcoin reached $8100 ATH Bitcoin is now $8104 moon ! Bitcoin is dead? it's $8090 now All bitcoins have been mined! that's why the price is hight for me too kraken is working fine (whisper: I don't have an account with kraken)
sir bitcoin is the best investment because of bitcoin first cryptocurrency. sir bitcoin helps me feed family, i told to my wife, brothers, cousins, and the whole street to use this forum because sir we can be rich fast sir. sir bitcoin value will be $100k in 3 months, i don't why sir i am just trying to fill the box
I loll'ed at this. I'm pretty sure English isn't your first language but you totally get it. But you forgot "How I can stretch post out so fill 200 character limit??" I swear bitcointalk is making me stupid. Everything sounds like All Your Base Belong To Us. Someone Set Up Us The Bomb.

I'll buy that. The "greasy" part was an especially nice touch by actmyname. It's hard for me to get a handle on how popular signature spamming is among these 3rd world country shitposters. We've now got entire fucking families (birth control, anyone?) coming here with the sole purpose of squatting out garbage. Probably even the little runt shitbags who can't even write in their own language come here. Join the fun! It's sickening. I've been reporting the one-line shitposts lately, because when you see one there are usually 100 more on that user's post profile. They're like cockroaches or bedbugs and basically deserve the same extermination treatment IMO. I have to remind myself--not that it matters a whole lot--that education and erudition isn't as highly prized in nations where starvation and dirt floors are the norm.

Sounds like you want misery to keep you company. lol
I haven't exactly been unlucky with crypto, because I don't do a lot of trading--I think most coins other than bitcoin are complete garbage and aren't worth owning even for a millisecond. But I've owned quite a lot of fiat dollars' worth of bitcoin since I started in 2015, and stupidly I ended up selling it or spending it all. And we all know exactly what happened since 2015--prices have gone through the roof. Had I held onto all of that bitcoin, I'd have more money than I've probably ever had in my life. So yeah, I regret doing all of those trades. But if you trade bitcoin for shitcoins, you get what you deserve. Buy-and-hold is the only way to go in my opinion.

I assume it's only going to get worse as the price of bitcoin continues to skyrocket, and hell yes the fees are ridiculous now. I would never pay for coffee with bitcoin nowadays, not that any coffeehouse takes it anyway.
I'd much prefer to pay with a crappy crypto like doge because of the fees alone make it more suitable, not to mention that the confirmation time would be much quicker. As I've said before, bitcoin is great to hold but lousy to spend. Much easier to spend other cryptos.
|
|
|
I'd agree with everyone else who said this is probably a scam--it sure as hell sounds like one to me, and anyone who's spent more than a few days in the world of bitcoin knows that scammers outnumber honest people about 3:1.
So don't go for it OP, don't even respond. They'll probably rob you at gunpoint, or at the very least make you pay for lunch. None of the possible outcomes are appealing IMO.

Sir ATriz, please consider my application. I am very loyal for you to make a constructive post. Not like that, also this project was very interesting. All you write are generic, padded shitposts. I think I reported a few of them today. Just my opinion, but there's no way you should be paid to spew your broken English garbage here. And there's no need for the above post.

Yes, sounds like temporary ban. If you did not copy/paste, scam or cheat and willing to learn creating good posts and learning about forum and cryptos, also helping others, then why should you not get second chance? Here are several honorable members, who began with low quality posts.
I assume you haven't read what mprep wrote: Cool. That time frame is 'till the heat death of the universe. Afterwhich you can come back and post again.
I was going to suggest he come back when all the bitcoin addresses have been used up, but I like his idea. And for the people who stop by this thread just to shitpost opinions, I do believe this implies that it's a permaban. Poof, done. I haven't seen bitcointalk this bad, ever. The shitposters flock to the huge threads because they think their garbage will get drowned out in the flood of diarrhea, but there are people who are going through those threads and reporting garbage posts. That's not even taking into account all the one-line shitposts in the altcoin/bounty/token threads. That section is just a cesspool of fecal matter.

Funny you should bring this up in a thread, gentlemand. I've been thinking about this for about a year now, considering whether "Satoshi Nakamoto" exists, or if bitcoin was created in response to the banking crisis of 2008. I'm not normally a conspiracy theorist, but I've been thinking one of these agencies was responsible for bitcoin--and to me, it totally makes sense. If banks failed completely, the world would need a bankless form of money, which bitcoin provides.
I also think this is the reason why that genesis block hasn't moved. It's the government saving it for a rainy day (the next crisis).
Would I run for the hills? Hell no. It doesn't matter to me if a government created it. It's still very useful and right now it's the best asset to own.

He made an inquiry about the account for sale, sort of. He wrote something like "PM sent". Therefore he probably consummated the deal outside of that thread. You just don't agreement with the feedback that was left, and although I thought a"PM sent" post didn't warrant a neg from myself, I fully support Lauda for leaving one. Account sales are cancerous to bitcointalk and people who deal in accounts deserve negative trust--especially from DT members.

I did post more at the off-topic section, but it was not all that much( not up to 1/3) of my post count. point,I never knew that answering some questions in that section required "quality" post. All am asking is for them to consider me in either way since I have leant my lesson.
If you are banned for a period of time then you have to wait. If you are permanently banned then oh boy, try to join r/Bitcoin (reddit) maybe? Yah, but he won't be able to spam for bitcoin there (I'm pretty sure). That's the point. OP there are many of us who just want people like you to go away. There's no point in giving second chances, because shitposters never even acknowledge what their mistake was in the first place. They'll just keep repeating the same behavior that got them into trouble. And it requires too much bct staff time.

Dude, you post absolute garbage like this: Yaa hope they have some good news on monday .
Keep it up and you'll get banned from the forum altogether. People like you never learn--never learn what the rules are, what constructive contributions are, never learn anything. Admit it, the only reason you came here is to earn money. That's frowned upon, and there's no way you should be criticizing mods for deleting your posts.

I'm totally sick of these shitposters who write stuff like "bitcoin is increasing day by day, it's a global cryptocurrency that allow us to trade, invest...." blah blah blah. The point here is that you should report garbage posts when you see them, and it's obvious OP does. That's what I've been doing, but it feels like it's a losing battle. These people tell their whole village that money is to be made by shitposting on bitcointalk, and there are apparently whole families who come here to do just that. It's pathetic and I have no sympathy for them. And I really wish there were some rules in place for campaign managers whereby they'd reject these garbage posters on sight. The SMAS thing gets ignored by the participants--sometimes--but it's at least a good thing. But there's no requirement to deny SMAS shitposters by any campaign manager, and it's the shittiest campaigns that accept the worst posters. Its true that most of new members are just spamming the forum.
Scintillating analysis, sir. Look at this thread, which is a variant of one that always keeps popping up: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2314539.0;topicseenThreads like this should be nuked, as they're just a vehicle for shitposters to type out one-line responses. Basically to list whatever shitcoin they can think of.

If you'd created this thread 3 months ago (and I'm sure there's been one that's similar), I would have said no way. Now we just crossed over into $8000 territory, and I'm thinking it's very possible--and we might not even have to wait until March!
We had a pretty steep correction last week, and bitcoin is now continuing to rise. That's about what I predicted, and a lot of others have as well. It's crazy, crazy, crazy. I'm constantly kicking myself for selling all the bitcoin I've owned. It could have accumulated to a significant amount....

And yet you can still come here and make excuses for him. I don't believe you. I don't buy any of the medical bullshit, nor do I care about being on your shit list. You're a part of this scam until proven otherwise.
You expect us to believe that you know all about these supposed real-life problems and that JayT got hit with these immediately after gameristo sent him the PayPal funds? You might think we're retarded on bitcointalk, but we've all seen this type of scam before. And if you know him well enough to come here and make excuses, it's fair to suggest that someone else (like you) might be able to send the funds from his wallet for him. But this is all a ridiculous excuse and hence your new negative trust.

No you fucking moron. If he can't physically use the internet, you could do that for him.
I think you're lying anyway. Scammers love to jerk their victims around.

Hi everyone,
I talked to someone who is friends with JayT on another forum.
JayT is having a very tough time in real life (medical). For privacy reasons, I can't state what's going on obv.
He's not a scammer per se -- life just took a dump right now and he can't physically go on the internet.
So don't lose faith in the bitcointalk feedback/review/rating system I guess.
Once he's better, he'll be back here and will fix things with OP I assume.
So why don't you get on the internet for him and pay gameristo the bitcoin that's owed him? If not, this sounds like you're a shill for a scammer.
