10941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country trades the most bitcoin on: September 27, 2018, 09:29:02 AM
Bitcoin can be a lifesaver now due to high inflation in Venezuela so it continues to rise.

10942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know where to post? Had one post deleted. Help please. on: September 27, 2018, 08:57:55 AM
When I posted it the first time, it got deleted. Then I posted it twice and none of them got deleted. That’s why I said it’s weird.
Okay I get it so that confused you.

So the link that I gave is the 2nd/3rd time? all the possible answers has been suggested to you. You just need stick to the rules of the forum.
10943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know where to post? Had one post deleted. Help please. on: September 27, 2018, 08:11:45 AM
Do you remember the post that was deleted?

You'll only get banned if you break a forum rule.

Yes. I posted it again and then no one removed it. It’s weird.
What's that post?

Is that a new topic that you posted/thread?  maybe you posted it on the wrong section or your post simply is off-topic.

It was “land of engineers: Pakistan”
When have you posted the other posts? I see this post you made --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4879797.msg43952894#msg43952894

So if you just posted a new one, it was probably deleted because of thread duplication.
10944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Have more coins in your portfolio in a short term on: September 27, 2018, 07:32:01 AM
I'm not sure if this should be here or in Mining altcoins but your advice is good. How long are you going to mine the coin you choose? do you set a timeframe or when the difficulty for that coin increases, you'll look for another one?

It's not easy to choose an altcoin that you will mine, so you just choose the new ones and spend a day or two with it?
10945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help BTC Game on: September 25, 2018, 11:10:07 AM
that sounds interesting for me Shocked Shocked

i am open for btc games *-* do they have a facebook page or somethink like this?
Don't be interested with a scam, it's a pyramid scheme and if you found an offer with the same scheme, stay away.

I did a quick research and found this one. Is this what your friend is talking about? --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1977632.0

It's a proven scam (ponzi/pyramid) and their website is no longer accessible.

Stay away from the same scheme.

Read the trust rating.

10948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can too many Altcoin's can become a threat to bitcoin's existence on: September 25, 2018, 08:47:49 AM
Negative impact is if the number of scam ICOs grow, bitcoin will be affected. The newbies and people who don't understand crypto's will likely to point out the blame to bitcoin and will call it as a scam in general.
10949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why People do such activity on: September 25, 2018, 06:20:37 AM
You can use "Report to moderator" below the quote and merit button so a mod will be notified.

That will result to a permanent ban.
10950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is marriage a kind of punishment? on: September 25, 2018, 03:48:52 AM
I don't want my sisters and relatives treated that way.

I guess this is part of their society from those countries that you observed. In most countries, women has equal rights to the men and they can shift their places whenever they want.
10951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: September 25, 2018, 02:59:07 AM
There are many reasons why people prefer gambling from gaming. For me it's mostly the time required for each of these. If I gamble I spend an hour doing it and can move to something else. Online gaming requires a lot more time as RPG games are divided into quests and many of them can't be stopped until you reach a safe point. There are boss fights for which you assemble a team and need to reach the destination and win the battle (I played some wow in my time Roll Eyes ) I wish I had as much free time as 10 years ago.
You can gamble even just for few minutes and you are not obliged to finish what you started. The same goes for RPG or any online game but the longer you stay there, you'll become stronger. While in gambling, its opposite the longer you stay the higher risk you have.

This also can be a time related issue why some preferred to gamble instead of gaming.
10952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's Guide - How to invest in ICO on: September 25, 2018, 02:38:04 AM
mate, the best beginner guide for newbies to invest in ICO - do research by yourself, don`t invest for the first month, first time better just do predictions
I can agree to a deep research, this is always very helpful and necessary. But I don't understand why do predictions?
He means to say that try to do intelligent guess on how that ICO would go.

But if I were you, I won't invest to ICO's.
10953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using Cryptocurrency for Dark Web on: September 25, 2018, 02:20:10 AM
Darkweb can be the worst part and it's pulls down bitcoin one side because of its usage.

So still we need be safer in white web to access the wallet or keep the fund safer in your wallet. Mostly darkweb users looking to get the payment for scams and hacks they were doing.

Since they want to be safer without accessing their location this is the best way for them.
I am sure, it is not to worst thing for Bitcoin. Because dark web users can use classical money like Bitcoin at the same time. There is no limit for that.
Yes they are using other crypto's as well that are privacy coins.

I never went to dark web but as for watching videos on youtube about it, they are really using it as main currency and if you know the history of bitcoin, being used their is part of it. But gladly, its now on the main web and being used for commercial purposes though usage there can't be stopped.
10954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I received a job offer - is this legit? on: September 25, 2018, 12:30:43 AM
If someone wants you to manage his money, what do you think about it? I wouldn't let that happen.

I've heard of same offer before but it requires his person to commit transfers through PayPal and that's a scam. And you know what's the description of customer service than a personal assistant, as adolfin said, maybe he just wanted you to verify an account for him or likely to use you for something unethical.

10956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: who can tell me which coin they belong to? on: September 22, 2018, 05:43:25 PM
Can't also find it but if you will check each coins explorer you might find it.

Where did you get this txid?
10957  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I want to start investing. Heard a lot about Exodus wallet . Your opinion? on: September 22, 2018, 04:33:17 PM
Exodus is a good wallet base on the things that I've been hearing through its users. What you really are asking? for a wallet or investing advice?

Here's other multicurrency wallet --> https://cryptopotato.com/top-6-multi-currency-digital-wallets/

I have used coinomi and its good and the rest, I don't have. And as for the percentage you'll be giving to bitcoin increase it, not only 35% but up to 50% or more.
10958  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin the answer to developing countries currency issues on: September 22, 2018, 03:49:38 PM
They have to study the adoption but they can support it and add it to their country's new source of taxation. That's all they can do but for their citizens getting support from the government for crypto's is such a big deal today.
10959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is PoC ? on: September 22, 2018, 03:16:07 PM
They are right, it's proof of capacity. There's also another PoC (checkpoint) and it depends to the coin on what proof they are using.

See the different types of proofs --> https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@killjoy/the-different-proofs-of-crypto-currency

10960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction on: September 21, 2018, 11:31:52 PM
Don't let be affected by those negative predictors. They have freedom to predict whatever they want but its up to you if you want to listen to them.

Listen to the positive predictions instead and that will give you encouragement at this moment.
