I have my old laptop (i5-460M) mining with around 50khash/s and just got my first block.
Took me about 24h. Seems I got lucky.

Yeah very lucky! My friend with 500k+ has mined for 2 days and got one block. Almost like hash dosent matter, but ppl with multiple computer also gets rare hit it seem. Pool will be awesome

My i5 gives aprox 230k, my friends ryzen 1700 give 500-600k.
I run 10-11 threads and he run 30-35.

Wow, what is your i5 model? My i7 7770 get only 170k, but your i5 hashrate more than mine  Shocked

I heard that ryzen 1700 is cool, the hashrate is awesome.

I5 6600k clocked to 4,4 GHz. Paired with 32 GB 3200 MHz ram. Running Windows wallet and 11 threads.

My friends ryzen is overclocked as well, higher performance than stock 1800x but dont remember excact clock. Also with 32 GB 3200 MHz ram.

And did you find any blocks? For example, for your friend's 550k, he should find one block every 2 hours on average. Or maybe 3 hours because there are less blocks per day than it should be. But if he's finding much less than one block per 3 hours (8 blocks a day), I think something is wrong.

He is finding much less. Im also getting less than anticipated. It almost seems like hashps doesnt matter, still i run it at high as i do not know if il get even less with lower hash.

Hope biblepay can clarify for us soon what is going on, and that pool will be up. But understandably it takes time for him with pool design form scratch and checking what is the issue.
Rome was not built in a day either. The potential here is so big it is worth mining even now before more discover the project. Hash is increasing rapidly every day.

And yes we should have Slack/Discord.

My opinion is a faster hash rate really is a faster hash rate; the wildcard is luck, and there is nothing wrong with the hashmeter.  The person with the 600k hashps should find 3* the blocks as the person with 200k hashps over a long period (over a couple months).

I do want the pool to come out, but I want it to come out without bugs.  We are now testing an alternate shares based submitting system, and also happy_merchant found a bug where once per night or so (not a severe bug) he drops out of the pool and misses the rewards for the block, working on that also, and also there is a long behind the scenes test cycle for windows.

Regarding the algorithm quick solved blocks back to back, its definitely something we can address when we gather the needs for a future mandatory.  We can retarget difficulty every block, and lower the stuck_block threshhold down to 30 minutes.  Its relatively minor problem for now so I have it on my punchlist for the next mandatory.

Regarding solo mining being dead, I am of the opinion that solo mining is still worth it for now, as long as a miner can find a block once per month, and we are still in the range of once per week or so.

I do apreciate your work and that it takes time to do things properly.
However, i have a hard time seing how we can all have bad luck? No one here have commented on having good luck, just getting 1/10th ish of what they should if anything. Still blocks are being found, but by who  Huh

I don't understand is why listed to CEX and NOVA, they are not better enough than cryptopia, ought to higher and better exchanges, such as bittrex,if you choose the two exchanges, I think this is the end of this coin.

Agree that CEX is not the best place. Biblepay is listed there and thats the only reason i know about it. Not impressed with the site tbh. However i dont see how it is negative while waiting for bittrex?

Can anyone confirm whether or not this is the most recent wallet version?

Biblepay Core version 1.0.1.9 (64-bit)

For some reason after rebooting the wallet it gets stuck on the synchronization at 0 hours behind?

I got the same, but it only took some time. Try to leave it on for some time.

What are you settings and bat file to mine it...

I have GTX 1070 asus and i get like 18-19mhs?

Can somebody share it so i can try...
Thx

I thought that's pretty good Smiley I get 19 mh/s with r9 Fury. Or am i doing something wrong myself?

Your probably spot on. This coin dont favor AMD like ether. My 3 1080 ti give 50-53 mh/s each.

The volume is quite low on C-Cex. Not much for sale either. 1,4 BTC would clear out sell orders and take price to 325 satoshi.
Good thing that the miners see that the current prices is not worth selling for, it will rise. As it is a bible coin im tempted to say "let there be light"  Cheesy

I can't wait till this time, just 10k satoshi, it's enough for me.

When it hits bitrex it could easy go to 10k. And a pump group could (when on bittrex) take it closer to that 100k goal. But if and when is the question. If we knew that we would be rich and not on a forum Tongue So it is a question if you want to do a small gamble on eth/btc other top currencies for a "small" profit. Or a small/new one for the potential of thousands of %. And if you want to go high risk/reward it dont think there is a better choice than sigt as it should go way up long term with good devs and community even without pump groups. The activity on Discord for example is just crazy Smiley
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 10, 2017, 07:00:46 AM
I have never had much faith in this coin in the first place, but i want to say the coin did survive the big dump pretty well, i'm impressed

Seems to be a legit currency with legit dev's working on it, i understand why there is much paranoia in the crypo world as 90 % of all coins are scams. this one seems to be not Smiley
Keep up the good work

Don't think it will ever reach 1$ cap but the only way from here is up this i'm sure

It could reach 1 when it hit bittrex, this is cryptocurrency markeds. On bittrex scamcoins can be pumped 10x in one day, so not unlikely for a good coin like Sigt.
On the other side. I do not agree that it can only go up, there can be dumps. But apart from intraday trading i agree with you, which probably was what you meant Smiley

Shutting down my my miners. Did not find one block with 600k hashes for a whole day.

I understand the frustration! It will be better when pool is up Smiley
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BiblePay - New Coin Launch - Official Thread on: August 09, 2017, 07:15:03 PM
My mate got double of my hash, 8 hours no hit. Someone must be very lucky! Also a question for the dev, when i choose setgenerate true XX where XX is a number, what does it mean? I got 4 cores but set it at 9, as i then use 80% of CPU. If it is threads maybe i spit out alot of rubbish hash

I got a Block hit now! So it seems to be working at least, Just bad luck Smiley still not selling tho, think it will rise alot when it gets picked up by more investors. And a bittrex listing could give an insane rise! Wold rather buy than sell atm if i had spare btc

It's the number of threads. You kind of just have to play around with it until you optimize it currently. I'm running multiple rigs, some max out at 2 threads per core, others at 3 or 4 threads per core, so it's highly dependent on hardware.

As far as mining, solo mining is all probability. If you're contributing 1% of the network hashrate, then you have a 1% chance of mining each block. Given 100 blocks, there's a ~63% chance that you'd mine at least one of them, but that's also a pretty good chance that you might get nothing. Even after 300 blocks, there's still a ~5% probability of mining nothing, so it's not unreasonable that streaks like this would happen occasionally. And obviously the odds are worse the lower your hashrate is relative to the total network hashrate.

The mining pool is currently in testing, which will remove a lot of the randomness from the mining process.

Thank you. Looking forward to pool, and i know solo can hurt. Just wondering if something was wrong since both of us hit no block. But then it is working as it says mining on live block and show hash. I can push the threads until the program / comp freeze or will i get trash hash if max out? In gpu you can see failed blocks, not skilled in solo mining.

This is a nice clean lean and mean no bullshit coin.

What is the best miner for it and how much h/s should one expect from a 470?

That question have been asked on what feels like every page. This coin like nvidia better than AMD, but there are still alot of AMD miners. If you dont want to wait for reply Just go back in the thread (im nvidia so cant help without reading for you)

Hmm, i still have not received a new block. 9 hours with this hash should give 3 blocks.
Before that i had lower hash but also lower network hash. Is it even mining or have i had bad luck for 4 days?

Updated to new wallet. What  am wondering. On previous coins when setting mining active it did not mine/use CPU power before blocks were synced.
Here it is showing mining as active when there is no block source available / not yet synced and it utilize cpu 100%.

I am asuming mining done until sync is waste, but will it start mining real blocks when synced?
We have a setting in our consensus params that will stop the wallet from mining on a dead chain.
Right now, that setting is Off since we allow debugging.  We can turn that On when we enable the sanctuaries.
As far as syncing, I belive the problem is the external node just hit 501 connections this morning and thats more than it can handle.
Please try:
addnode=biblepay.inspect.network

In the mean time I will raise our limit here to 800 connections.

Thank you for the response. It synced shortly after, but i let the question stay for the next time i reboot and others.
If i start mining before sync it mines a dead chain. When it is synced, will it then auto go for the live chain? I waited for sync to be sure and restartet mining.

Exciting to hear you have contacted bittrex! If it goes live there we can see a nice increase in volume, and probably big pumps of price. More for the miners, but also more for charity!
