1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the relationship between Altcoins and bitcoin ? on: June 08, 2018, 06:19:26 AM
Bitcoin and altcoins are interconnected in a big way and anyone who says otherwise is simply fooling themselves. Bitcoin and altcoin values are usually directly proportional to each other ie. If Bitcoin value rises, altcoin value rises and vica versa. Reverse also happens sometimes, but is uncommon. This is why everyone gets excited for a bull run or are left disappointed due to a bear market since Bitcoin and altcoin values are connected.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Article] Dark Side of Airdrops - Not SEC Compliant on: June 08, 2018, 06:16:33 AM
Some have value, some don't. It's really a hit and miss.
In my experience, 70% are misses, but still ok as I didn't place any hard earned money into it.

DeepOnion (https://deeponion.org/) was the best signature campaign/airdrop of 2017 that ended only this year. 40 continuous weeks of airdrop to eligible participants and it's price peaked at +$18.

Those very lucky ones who were at airdrop #1 probably gave their crypto portfolio a TREMENDOUS boost!
Some earned more than BTC10 if they had sold at the right time.

I agree with you. I have personally participated in the DeepOnion airdrop campaign along with several friends of mine and we made a killing for minimal effort which honestly did not surprise me since the NEM and Decred airdrops were so successful in the past which is why I believed that there were still some legit airdrop campaigns out there. Airdrops are like treasure chests which may or may not contain treasure. Luck matters a lot in this aspect.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin price before and after airdrop on: June 07, 2018, 02:44:29 PM
Based on past history, airdrop coin values tend to fall after the completion of the airdrop campaign due to majority of the participants selling off their coins or tokens for quick profits which makes sense. If the development team continues to develop the coin regularly and manages to attract a sizable community, the coin value would most likely rise in the long term which is not guaranteed.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Strategy on: June 07, 2018, 07:19:46 AM
My bounty strategy is to choose coins and tokens to invest into after a good bit of research(whitepaper, roadmap, development team experience, social media interactions by the development team etc) and diversify my investments and HODL my coins and tokens for the long term and sell early only if absolutely necessary(Huge spike in value of coin, personal commitments etc). This strategy has worked so far which is why I highly recommend it.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest on altcoin on: June 07, 2018, 07:16:36 AM
You need to do a lot of research before deciding which coin or token to invest into since this is your hard earned money which you need to risk losing due to the extreme volatility of this cryptocurrency market. There are so many factors which you need to analyze thoroughly like the whitepaper, social media interactions by the development team, development team etc in this aspect. I would thoroughly recommend Ethereum as the best altcoin to invest into at the moment.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Drops Below $ 550 on: June 06, 2018, 06:05:12 AM
Great time to purchase Ethereum to a low value if you ask me. When the market rallies like crazy at some point in the future(Surely will), Ethereum will surpass its old high and reach a new high which I am hoping will happen by the end of this year. This is the reason I am not selling any of my ETH at the moment and am HODLING them for the long term. The move to POS will also help this coin in a big way most likely.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you Invest into Crypto Currency on: June 06, 2018, 06:03:26 AM
There are many reasons why I decided to invest into this vast crypto world, but the primary reason is the possibility of earning big money through minimal effort in an effective and efficient manner. I was surprised to earn big bucks through an airdrop campaign which was a great surprise. I began researching different coins and tokens and majority of them turned out to be smart and successful investments thankfully. Another reason is since I am a freelancer and love working from home which is why this is a perfect platform for me.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2018, 12:43:00 PM
The market undergoes these kind of corrections majority of the time due to the investors taking their profits or recovering their money from further losses majority of the time which is a common trend in this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market. No need to get all worked up whenever the market undergoes a correction. You must be aware of the risks before investing into this volatile crypto market. Bitcoin will recover eventually.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Airdrops??? on: June 05, 2018, 06:27:36 AM
This is useful information op. Many newbies get tricked by scammers who come up with coins and tokens that promise to give away free money, but instead end up stealing all their hard earned money which is unfortunate since there are a plethora of threads in this forum that provide ways to avoid getting scammed. I urge newbies to secure all  your accounts(emails etc) connected to the cryptocurrency market in order to secure your funds.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why this might be the year for Ripple on: June 05, 2018, 06:23:53 AM
I am not so sure about this. I do believe that Ripple has tremendous potential due to its popularity and real world use cases and I don't have a problem with it being associated with banks since I believe in the idea that cryptocurrencies should coexist with FIAT in some way or another. Ripple continues to sink in value at the moment due to the ongoing bear market and am not expecting a reversal in its value until the end of this year.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty KYC on: June 05, 2018, 06:21:57 AM
I do not recommend joining campaigns which ask for KYC whenever possible since this whole KYC  process goes against the very thing that the cryptocurrency market stands for which is anonymity. I discovered this market while searching for a way to conduct financial transactions online in an anonymous manner without any sort of outside interference. On top of this, avoid campaigns that ask for any sort of payment since they are most likely scams.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you sell Alts when Bitcoin goes down? Stop doing thatm on: June 04, 2018, 02:22:11 PM
What are you going on about op? You cannot force investors to do what you want just because you don't like it. Investors can do whatever they want to with their money since they took the risk. This liquidity is good for the overall health of the market since you cannot always expect your portfolio to be in the green. Last year was different for cryptocurrencies and was a special year. Focus on your money instead of telling others what to do with their money.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: June 04, 2018, 06:27:03 AM
Are you serious op? Do you really think everything will remain in the green indefinitely? Investors will obviously pull out their money at some point or another in order to convert it into FIAT which will sometimes drive the market into the red zone which is completely healthy. This is completely normal and very common in the cryptocurrency market just like any other market(Stock market etc). Do your research op.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple enthusiast with $1 billion in XRP dies - nobody has keys/passwords ! on: June 04, 2018, 06:23:54 AM
Damn. This is sad news and may his soul rest in peace. If he never left any keys or passwords, that money could be lost forever. I highly doubt this is the case though since a man who could earn so much money in his life must be very smart and he would have backed up his keys and passwords in some way or another. The family needs to check everything thoroughly and make sure the wrong people don't get their hands on it.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone help me? on: June 04, 2018, 06:21:19 AM
As I have mentioned many times before, the whitepaper needs to be analyzed thoroughly before checking other factors since I believe that this is the crucial factor in determining whether the project is worth investing into or not. Apart from this, you need to do your research regarding the project developers, social media interactions by the development team, bounty manager etc.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effect of Crypto in FIFA world cup . on: June 03, 2018, 09:02:53 AM
You mean sports (football) betting in cryptocurrencies? Without any doubt, the number of bets during the championship will increase in both Fiat and сryptocurrency. I don't think that in a global sense it will create some kind of fluctuations in the market.
And in my opinion, it would be important to use the technology of blockchain when selling tickets. Since it's just impossible to buy them, speculation on this is one of the biggest problems for fans.
I am expecting a small effect on the cryptocurrency market due to the FIFA world cup, but not a major one since a small percentage of the world population utilize cryptocurrencies in these scenarios. The extreme volatility of the crypto market is the primary reason why so many people tend to avoid the crypto market, but more investors will join the market as the volatility decreases(Most likely) with time.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When bitcoin collapses? on: June 03, 2018, 08:58:56 AM
You crack me up op. Many cryptocurrencies better than Bitcoin? Seriously? You have got to be kidding with me. Bitcoin is leagues away from any altcoin in terms of popularity, value etc. Don't even bother comparing any coin or token with the king of the crypto world. Ethereum which is widely regarded as the best altcoin in the crypto market is itself in a different league when compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin will always be king. Do your research op.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend reasearching your prospective coin buys? on: June 02, 2018, 06:07:57 AM
Graphic follow-up is very important to get potential money. However, you should know the value of money in the past. It takes a very long time to follow all of them. It's not hard to follow, it's easy.
If you have invested your money into any of the crypto currency, then it is better to get as much information as you can regarding that coin because this is the only thing which will then help you in having a fair idea of how things work and that you will then also be able to make the right choice at the right time. focus on learning and that money will come at its own and that you need to worry then.
I agree with your opinion. Information is crucial to differentiating between a legit and scam coin in an effective and efficient manner. I tend to research the coins that I am interested in for several hours at least in order to make sure that it is a legit investment. Whitepaper is the first thing that I usually tend to check carefully before checking other factors. Don't rush people. Take your time and do your research.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you get a profit buying ico coins on: June 02, 2018, 06:05:23 AM
Definitely. I have earned steady profits by investing into various ICOS over time. Research and luck play a crucial role in this aspect. You need to research the coin or token that you are interested in investing into by analyzing the whitepaper, checking how the developer team communicates with the community members, the community itself etc. Electroneum was the most successful ICO for me since I earned x10 profits through it in the short term.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of crypto ? on: June 01, 2018, 01:53:59 PM
I firmly believe that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin will never fully replace FIAT currencies. Cryptocurrencies will serve as alternate payment solutions to people around the world which is why they will coexist along with FIAT currencies. I know many people would like to see FIAT getting completely replaced by cryptocurrencies, but this is highly unlikely. Both currencies coexisting with each other is best for the entire world.
