And what's to stop people ordinarily selling their accounts and trying to reclaim them back anyway. I mean there's not too much evidence that would be gatherable to prove the account wasn't hacked, sold and is then reclaimed by the original owner. Buying accounts is quite risky.
1 day or 14 it doesn't make a difference really as they'll just wait whatever delay it is out then follow the process. And people have sold their account and tried or have even been successful in claiming it back in the past. At the moment the thing that is probably stopping them from doing this is people aren't getting their accounts back at all  . This sort of scam would become more common if someone was actively handling the requests but even more so if the process was automated. To kill the market for accounts I think we should just disallow their sale here and allow people to purchase additional membership ranks (Silver and Gold) that come with the benefits of Full and Hero members etc. Would pretty much all but kill the account farming and selling business and curb the chance of people just doing the restore scam. That's a good idea and it would mean some profits for this forum too. Why not give people the ability to purchase their rank? That would kill a lot of spamming too. I think we've all noticed an increased amount of threads made by people who are desperate to rank up. So, A) Less hacking B) Less Spamming C) More happy users Why not? There'd be a lot more hacking if you had to purchase ranks. (Get a fresh account, Pay the 1 BTC to get it to legendary status) then it gets hacked and someone gets a good account. Not exactly what we want. Also, isn't this what the merit system was supposed to do? (Reduce spam) I didn't say no more spam, I said less spam. And no, I don't think the merit system has effectively reduced spam because now we have all these threads where people are trying to sound intelligent and offer guidance for others while their only purpose is to gain merits. And the posts are not very intelligent or original either. |

Is there anybody in the same boat as I am? I have 1100 onions stuck in withdrawal from last 3 weeks on Cryptopia and I am going to miss the 4th airdrop due to this. I was mad  , now I am sad  Have you tried their Reddit channel? Someone else has mentioned that they respond quite fast there. |

NEO is obviously great and had a growth which many altcoins would be jealous of. I wonder if it will grow more. NEM has also seen a rise this past year, I do check on its growth sometimes. However, both of these already have a high market cap. I believe that an altcoin which will grow a lot during 2018 and currently has a low market cap is DeepOnion. Privacy coins will be the future, more and more people every day realize that their governments have them by the balls and will seek to protect their anonymity. The rise in cryptocurrency is going to facilitate that and DeepOnion is already fortified with various features that will protect people's transactions.

I'd say give us Members the chance to rank up easier by lowering the merits required because there's no way I'm getting to 100 unless I come up with something like "Theory of Relativity Vol. 2" No, you are wrong. I'm no Einstein but I still get merit. It's not so difficult as it seems. I have put a lot of time reading in order to be able to answer some average questions, but now I understand more so + the Merit you get knowledge which is more valuable. Well, some of the merits you've received seem totally random and by those standards I should have gotten a few more merits for my posts, but sure, if you think so... The random merit you say were when we discuss the merit system in the begging. I had myself a few suggestions for correction rather than changes but seems that the system is still working without any needs. This was the main topic that time and everyone was exited. Now things are more settled and people are getting more and more familiar with the system. Of course it takes time to be adopted, but as I said 30 points are not so hard to achieve. Right... I've had these debates since day one and no one gave me 60 merits. I must be doing it wrong. Anyway, debating whether getting merits is hard with a person who already has a lot of them is as pointless as a poor person trying to make a person brought up in wealth to understand that making money is not easy. |

Maybe we won't need to be listed on Binance or Bittrex, maybe KuCoin and also Cobinhood will become big enough The more, the better. Some people doesn't uses KuCoin or even Binance. I use a lot exchanges, but my favorites isn't those. Oh, I'm just joking. Sure, more exchanges is always better, it's not only good for price, but also for the project. btw guys. next.exchange will be public launched soon (today or tomorrow) as you know DeepOnion was marked as "planned" and will be integrated in this exchange too. i love kucoin also. it's soo fast compared to cryptopia. selling and buying is a breeze
To me it's not only that Kucoin works faster, but Cryptopia has left me sometimes with pending transactions for several days. I know that's something that can happen due to infraestructure problems, but nonetheless I lost trust in them. My only problem with Kucoin is that when I go to withdraw some coins it has me put my 2FA code (just like when I sign up or trade) which changes every few seconds so by the time I have written the amount I need to put a different number for the 2FA and it's confusing. It has even gotten stuck once, I had to do the process multiple times for it to work. Otherwise, it's superior to Cryptopia in anything else. |

The struggle is real lol How is it possible to get from Member to Full Member? Seriously, you need to create threads for months to get some attention. And I'm not into creating threads at all, I only like posting but people don't really notice posts. |

Strange thing regarding my wallet staking - after giving me staks every other day, no staks were received for the last 11 days?! Looks like whales started to stake some more coins  lol maybe. I've noticed that I need to have more weight it my wallet too. |

Binance application has been sent and we are waiting for a response. But I think Binance doesn't list coins that are still in airdrop phase. I don't see the need to list DeepOnion at the moment on Binance, to be honest. We have some good exchanges, KuCoin is really not that bad. I agree that Cryptopia is currently useless as there are a lot of problems, but same goes for Bittrex as they also have problems sometimes. I would say Binance should be something to achieve after the airdrops to get the project on the right level then. I bought $ONIONs some days ago on KuCoin...and it worked like a charm! Very good exchange, fast and easy to use and understand. Sure Binance would be very good for us....we'll see after April :-) Agreed - I bought several hundred onions a couple of days ago. Kucoin charges something like 10 usd to withdraw from the exchange, but other than that it was quick and easy. Must be some error regarding the withdrawal fee. If I remember correctly, the withdrawal fee for DO on Kucoin is only 0.1 ONION, which is currently less than 0.4 USD. But it would be very nice if 0.1 ONION = 10 USD The $10 could be the Bitcoin withdrawal rate. I've withdrawn Bitcoin before but as Bitcoin's price has been halved since then, I'm not sure. |
