If you can dump it down $8K already, that would do it.

Or if Poloniex raises my withdrawal limits. Right now it is going to take me 6 weeks to get out.

You can meet me with a suitcase full of cash, and I'll sell you my Poloniex account.

I meant, is there any way to assist you getting out...of here?  Grin
It's the same thing. If I'm stuck on Poloniex for 6+ weeks then I'm also probably going to be hanging around here during that time too.
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Answers to what is Bitcoin backed by? Give your answers on: December 27, 2017, 03:48:54 AM
Bitcoin is not backed by miners...  miners are backed by bitcoin investors. You have it all backwards. Miners can buy all the equipment and electricity in the world and then not be able to pay for any of it if investors dont buy their coins. Maybe you're confusing this with 'how does bitcoin work'.
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach $100K , Bitcoin Cash will reach 10k before Feb ... LTC 5000$ on: December 27, 2017, 03:47:50 AM
Oh yes and doge will reach $1

Theres still no chart here
1105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 27, 2017, 02:58:13 AM
This is a wall observer thread. Whatever coins has the biggest walls wins.

U makin shit up?

You read the title?

Does the title say bitcoin?

 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Youre right I guess it's a Bitcoin wall observer, but there are no walls in bitcoin these days with these anemic books. The biggest order ive seen this whole time is 500. I want to see a 20,000 order.
1106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 27, 2017, 02:54:07 AM
I think this is the worst possible time to buy. The bounce from the last drop is reaching it's peak. Meaning first the price will return back to the low around 11000 quickly and THEN itll move lower. Itll go too fast with no bounces back to this level and youll never have a chance to get this price back (until the end of crypto winter). This WAS your chance to get it back.
1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why MUST Bitcoin crash and have another winter? on: December 27, 2017, 02:45:32 AM
Yes there are things that have increase btc value but also the price has increased 20 times since the last crash in order to cancel out this growth so we are on a brand new basis point and everything will be the same.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why MUST Bitcoin crash and have another winter? on: December 27, 2017, 01:53:54 AM
Its a simple economic law of exponential rises which applies particularly to bitcoin history. Because when these bubbles happen a rubber band gets loaded in which a bunch short term traders come on board, people with no knowledge of bitcoin buy into the frenzy, traders become overleveraged, spend more they can afford, take out loans, and use margin, etc, there is nothing but good news, and there is a lack of potent FUD. Eventually the rubber band snaps and all of this reverses. It can be catalyzed either by FUD or by exchange failure but once it happens there is no stopping the cascade of events. Traders take profit, stops are triggered, whales dump, maybe some country is taken out of the market, maybe some exchange closes, margin calls are issued, foreclosures occur, and then after all THAT the FUD is released and new cycle of it happens all over again. It must go all the way down until it meets a significant support level from the past. The last one was at $5500.

Moore's law - simple as that

Does anyone else laugh whenever the see an ad that says 'this guy made $X trading bitcoin with our proprietary trading system' because they've made more (with manual trades)?

First tell me what currency IS backed by something? Fiat has some protections by the government but no backing except for debt - you can trade one dollar bill for another dollar bill. Gold has a fraction of its value backed by its ability to be used in industrial and medical applications - but not the whole value. There is used to be digital currencies that were backed by gold - meaning for each unit there was a bar of gold in a vault somewhere. Cryptocurrencies are not backed by anything but supply and demand - the bids on the exchanges and what your neighbor will pay you for a bitcoin. It's like asking 'what are beanie babies backed by'

It would be nice to get out of here.

Anything we can do to assist??   Grin

IDK about the rest of you, but on New Years Eve, Imma party like it's 1999!

1115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ridiculous BTC Prices Predictions by Experts? on: December 26, 2017, 11:47:46 PM
To think that a continuing exponential trend at these levels is guaranteed is silly.

Were there any more shuttle launches while I was out?
1117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Look like Christmastimes discount is over ? on: December 26, 2017, 06:57:06 PM
What discount? What recovery? I still see coins that are marked up 1500% from the beginning of the year. We need another "discount". New years is coming.
1118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: December 26, 2017, 06:50:42 PM
The only problem with long term holders is they have to sell at some point before the drop to 0 in some number of decades. If they never sell then theyll have nothing to show for it even if we temporarily go to $10,000,000 and they're billionaires. At the very least they have to dig up their keys and transfer to a new wallet when EC gets broken. It's not like they can just go on vacation and forget about bitcoin for the rest of their lives until retirement.

It's time to bear it all.
