1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top 5 altcoins - in order? on: August 10, 2014, 06:32:30 PM
Did someone seriously suggest DOGE & LTC today??

WOW...

Hopefully that guy doesnt give advice on anything important.

LTC and DOGE are going to the moon with BTC. every altcoin spikes exponentially after BTC reaches new highs. I've been around for a few cycles and I can tell you when LTC breaks below 0.01 you will have a chance to triple your BTC in a matter of weeks if you buy the panic.

Don't buy into the panic! When all the sheep are selling, the sharks are buying  Wink

Primecoin (XPM)

1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 09, 2014, 11:07:27 PM
I've started a twitter campaign to get "Major Outlets and Exchanges" behind our beloved Monero (XMR). @coindesk @cryptsy etc...

If enough of us let our voice be heard we could make a huge impact!  Shocked

1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero (XMR) Speculation thread on: August 09, 2014, 03:04:26 PM
Hi folks, check out my idea for twitter petitioning Cryptsy on Monero (XMR)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731365.0
Funny that huge and profitable alternative currency like XMR need for twitter reposting to say "Hello World!"

It's just an idea, it certainly wouldn't hurt our cause and could prove the strength of our community to the site.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinDesk censors Monero, loses credibility on: August 09, 2014, 02:59:03 PM
Join my Monero petition! Lets all tweet Cryptsy and let them know they are missing out on our community!

1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Petitioning Cryptsy, Btc-e and others for Monero(XMR) on: August 09, 2014, 02:55:22 PM
THE REWARD HAS NOW BEEN INCREASED TO 0.4 XMR...PLEASE FIND MORE INFO BELOW:

Monero users: I would like to start a petition to Cryptsy, btc-E, OKcoin, Bitstamp, Coindesk, Forbes and others to support Monero (XMR). Personally I trust Cryptsy more-so than some of these other exchanges and I'd like to trade my Monero on a more secure and liquid platform. Coindesk seems to be blatantly censoring XMR and we should let them know how we feel as well.

If you share similar feelings or simply want cryptsy and others to get behind Monero (XMR) please tweet them and tell them why they should add Monero (XMR)!

A total of 10 XMR will be pledged towards this campaign funded by myself, Nekomata and saddambitcoin. If anyone else wants to chip in, please PM me

Each Monero tweeter will get 0.1 XMR 0.2 XMR until we run out (limited to 1 tx per person)

THE REWARD HAS NOW BEEN INCREASED TO 0.4 XMR

RULES:

1. TAG AT LEAST 3 - @cryptsy, @btcecom, @okcoinBTC, @Bitstamp @coindesk, @forbes, @CryptoCobain IN A TWEET MENTIONING MONERO (XMR)

2. HASHTAG #MTC (Monero Twitter Campaign) TO VERIFY

3. SCREENSHOT YOUR TWEET AND PM ME THE PICTURE AND YOUR XMR ADDRESS

If you would like to donate to this cause just PM me (maybe the reward could be raised or could fund a longer campaign)

Send Tweets to:

Like many others I would say look into Monero (XMR)!
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 09, 2014, 02:39:53 PM
Why isn't Monero listed on cryptsy yet?
They added so many bad coins but not Monero?
I wanted to buy some just now and could not find it there.

I was wondering the same thing when I first heard about Monero...it seems that XMR's unique code is making it hard for them to implement into the site. I'm sure they'll be adding it eventually, but until then they have lost my business to www.poloniex.com

I've been tweeting them about Monero - @cryptsy

EDIT: I've just started a twitter petition to Cryptsy for Monero, please join me! - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731365.0

1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin STILL has the highest number of ACTIVE ADDRESSES of all the altcoins. on: August 07, 2014, 05:53:29 AM
DOGE has utility for tipping and micro-transactions, the cost of a transaction is currently 1/50th of a cent...
It's the most secure and cheapest form of micro-tipping which plays into # of transactions and active addresses

The price could easily go 5X from these levels (although I still don't think we've found a true bottom yet)

As long as my credit is good, I am a buyer long past the point of despair.  When I start to feel the fear and depression, I cheer myself up by buying more.  I take some amphetamine and a shot of whiskey, if that's what it takes.

It would mean a very great decline in coin price, reasonably below 0.0025 or even in the post-introduction low area of ~0.0018.

This won't happen (if at all) until BTC goes for $1000 or higher. Historically, right after BTC hits new highs is when the alts finally bottom out.

I'm calling a test of 0.004 short term

By that measure Bitcoin is a pyramid scheme too. While civilization seems to be degrading along with the global financial system Bitcoin is just getting started. I think Bitcoin going to really inflate that civilization bubble Type 1 civilization here we come. Smiley

Pyramid Scheme:

hehe if you superimpose the pyramid with its opposite it completes a Star of David whose points point to
