[ANN] [MYR] MYRIADCOIN *SHA256* *SCRYPT* *QUBIT* *SKEIN* *GROESTL* NEW TYPE OF COIN FIRST OF HIS KIND/ EXCHANGE FROM DAY ONE.

Something like this  Cheesy

Maybe it should be modified like this:

[ANN] [MYR] MYRIADCOIN *SHA256* *SCRYPT* *QUBIT* *SKEIN* *GROESTL* NEW MULTI ALGO COIN FIRST OF HIS KIND/ EXCHANGE FROM DAY ONE.

This is just to avoid missunderstanding of a mixed algo coin

After how many confirmation can I close the miner programe when I solo mined a block?

You can close it instantly confirmations are coming from network blocks not only from blocks mined by you
I don't think so.A few hours ago I solo mined a block and I closed miner in less than 30 seconds right after I saw the notice of an unmature block coming to my wallet. Then this block was gone away from my wallet!

Either it was an orphaned block or you mined it while your client was out of sync. Accepted, confirmed and in-sync mined blocks will stay in your wallet without additional confirmations needed by your miner

Sometimes wallet falls out of sync. Thats why mined balances are  getting orphaned because you mine them out of sync and that's why pool is getting orphans because pool wallet falls out of sync too, i guess.

I don't really understand how this is working but it is interesting
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [eToken]Important announcement eToken on: February 19, 2014, 04:51:45 PM
I am not a coder but is there any possibility that he exported the 100K balance to a private key and then just reintroduced after fork? Blockchain is the same so theoretically it is possible

could be. I dont know either. It should not have been possible to access the wallet with the blocked addresses. But i can also imagen compiling your own modded wallet and just change enough to be able to create a privatekey. You can maybe not send from the modded wallet. Because other clients wont accept coins from that address. But you could withdraw them with the privatekey. Altough that would also mean you send coins from that wallet. So i am a little short on knowledge here  Smiley
I meant that he exported his bank to a private key before fork happened and his address was valid and then imported the private key to a new wallet on the new fork

But original dev is not supporting bitcoin. There are other talented people helping it to develop, but a dev has no more control over the coin than you or me or anyone else.
If you are smart enough just take the source code release better clients proove that you are better than previous dev and you are the new one. Everything is open source and descentralized

I`m not the official dev anymore.
That way you don`t think i`m responsible for this coin. I`ve never chosen to be the dev for it. I just helped when the coin was dead and wrote some services for it. That`s it. All i got for this is 200 etoken and no donations from the community but people complaining that i`m doing nothing.

Oh, im sorry I thought you you are. So who is the dev?
[/quote]

Why are you obsessed to dev? Where is bitcoin's dev? Cryptos are community driven

Dev you should set up an EQB donation address. Not premined coins are expanding from donations
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 19, 2014, 10:29:15 AM
How do you calculate maxcoin per day?

Profit calculator and convertor for Maxcoin

http://dwarfpool.com/max/calc
This does not work. I mined with constant speed for 24 hours and the returns were only a quarter of what they claimed. Expect a 4th of what it says.

It is because difficulty is fluctuating you may calculate your earnings on 105K difficulty but in reality it is peaking to 130K -160K every day

Working for free?Whats the bank for then? And where did the payments from it go?
I got in overall 200 etoken and worked more than 100h for etoken.
That`s more or less working for free Wink

At current price indeed it is.
What's your oppinion about launching some mining contest?

Sadly it is. It would be in my interest too if this coin gets big.
Contest always sounds good if we can get people into etoken.
What kind of mining contest did you thought ? How should it run ?

I am not having a clear vision regarding mining contest yet, clear rules should be decided by the community but i am having in mind something like this:
Every day the increase in hashrate would be paid to a lucky winner in Etok so if today hashrate is 25Mh and tomorrow the average hashrate is 40Mh 15 Etok will be paid to one of the miners
A new thread would be created for the contest and everyday miners should post a proof that they mined in a pool for a few hours, at the end of the day one miner is chosen the winner and gets the prize
Something like this, it is open for suggestions

There are just too much credits, here is another one:

I would suggest a total name change Xcoin was renamed to darkcoin and it is succeeding so this shouldnt be a problem
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CRD] Credit New currency - !Start mine now! on: February 18, 2014, 09:53:08 PM
There is already a creditcoin with CRD ticker i think it should be modified to avoid missunderstanding

Oh, rly.

It is SHA256 and i believed dead. I didn't know it before the first issue, but I was looking for similar names...

It is scrypt:
