I have a smartphone for everyday payments. I look to use this as a storage only device at home so I don't need to carry around tons of btc on me. Just need more info on security\open source and battery life. How is it backed up? Doesn't say...

Most americy have thousands in credit card debt. They aren't going to buy bitcoins to spend em IMO. They can only keep racking up debt.

Buying 1 coin for cold storage is the biggest no brainer I can think of. If in 20 years btc is $50,000 each how stupid are you gonna feel knowing you could of bought just 1 coin for $450 today. If it goes to 0 woopdido your out a few hundred bucks. I don't care what the price is doing this year. As stated I'm looking down the road. And bitcoin is the future.

I'm guessing amazon can track how much btc traffic there currently getting through gift cards bought from gyft with btc. When it gets large enough for them to notice they'll take it directly.
