1101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 04, 2023, 10:07:40 PM
I was very happy  to joined bitcointalk. org November 7 2020, but I came to discovered one thing in the community that is making me wondering, if bitcoiners don't trust themselves by seeing themselves face to face like the way church members or Muslim members love themselves by seeing themselves face to face after the service. Going to three years now, am trying to see some of the bitcoiners in my area to discuss with them how to join hands together to promote Bitcoin in the society but they said they prefer discussing it online than see each other physical.
Are they ashame to be a bitcoiners? or they are among the people that think Bitcoin is a scam?
Why Bitcoin users are afraid of see each other physical?
Bitcoin isn’t a religion so your analogy is incorrect. It is true that members of this forum like to keep their identity private and many would not welcome the idea of meeting a stranger offline. It’s not because they are ashamed or think bitcoin is a scam, it is just a security precaution to ensure their safety. Generally, I don’t think bitcoiners are afraid to see each other in person, there are many bitcoin meetups and conferences hosted all over the world every year and it’s packed. If you want to make connections and network, those are the places you should be.

I heard that Ancelotti has stated an update about this news. He said that Benzema's injury isn't so serious, it is not a major injury. Militao's injury is worse, he may be absent for several matches. While for Benzema, I think he has a chance to play in UCL against Liverpool. We can expect that Benzema recovers soon, but it seems not for Militao.

Ancelloti's statements give hope that the return of Karim Benzema isn't far away. The absence of Karim Benzema will be felt but good thing it will not be for so long because I will love to see Benzema feature against Liverpool in the champions league knockout. Militao's injury also is a big disadvantage for Real Madrid, I just hope they can cope with this in the next games.

What an interesting first half, I must admit that I expected Chelsea to overshadow Fulham but Fulham proved so much in the first half. They gave Chelsea a hard time, the new signings for Chelsea were impressive in the fist half, Enzo Fernandez's work rate is massive, Badashile is strong in defense, Murdryk have been a bit quiet though because Fulham's defense is so strong. I'm expecting a more competitive second half game.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 03, 2023, 08:21:26 PM
Anyway, Chelsea must be able to take revenge on Fulham in today's match, because in the previous match Chelsea lost by Fulham with a score of 2-1. Even worse, at this moment Fulham's position is better than Chelsea in the Premier League standings because Fulham is above Chelsea by having a two-point gap.

Therefore, if Chelsea can get revenge in this match and beat Fulham, then Chelsea will be able to overtake Fulham and get back into a better position. But yes, because many of Chelsea's key players cannot be played, of course the mission to take revenge will not be easy because Chelsea's situation and conditions are not entirely good.
Chelsea will try their best to get a revenge by winning this game and taking home all three points. Potter was left disappointed with the result in the first leg and won't want to repeat same outcome this time especially with the new signings to the team, Chelsea are expected to be much stronger physically and tactically when they face Fulham tonight in the premier league.

The problem is, Rashford is often unable to maintain the consistency of his performance so that he often fails in many seasons. Being the best player requires you to consistently perform well, and so far Rashford hasn't shown that. Indeed, so far this season Rashford has performed brilliantly where his contribution to the team has scored 9 goals in 20 matches.

Rashford must keep up form if he wants to be the best, but this season the main competition for the best player is Haaland. It is difficult to compete with this striker who has scored 25 goals in 19 matches. So Rashford may need to try to do well to take Manchester United in the Champions League next season rather than being interested in being the best player.

Unfortunately that happens to be true because this season he also started on a slow pace but has managed to improve and scoring goals for fun with the help of Ten Hag's expertise and ability to bring out the best in his players. With 9 goals already I can only hope he could maintain this form until the end of the season.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 03, 2023, 08:12:02 PM
I think eras have changed and in this era of Erik ten Hag I'm sure Manchester United will be able to play well, even though Barcelona might eventually win but this match will still be interesting to look forward to. Also, regarding the players or squad that Barcelona have, basically they already have players who have good quality, so even if one key player is injured and or cannot be played, of course Xavi will be able to use other strategies by adjusting the available players.

So yes, this match will of course still be interesting but one thing I still believe in, it looks like Erik ten Hag will be able to make the right strategy in this match to make Manchester United qualify for the next round.
Erik Ten Hag is showing good signs of a better future for the club. He has made quite an impact in the team and the players now understand the task and objectives of the manager and are showing this character on and off the pitch. Manchester United are playing much better football and will certainly give Barcelona a tough one to contend with when they go head to head in the Europa league play offs.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 03, 2023, 07:49:15 PM
Inter are already very likely to win the derby game against Milan. Because Milan are still in a bad shape currently.

Milan are still not bad at scoring goals but the main problem is obviously their defense. Because there is no defending I can see at all. The Sassuolo game was a fiasco for them. The fans must be very frustrated with that result as well. The Inter game isn't a game in which they can fix their problems in defense. They will most probably be open to their dangerous attacks. The only way they might stay in the fight is to be able to answer with goals. But I still think it won't be enough to get even one point.
Inter Milan have a better chance of winning the derby, AC Milan are still struggling to stay sharp and consistent in their strive for champions league qualification because Napoli are already 13 points or more from the second position team so I doubt any team is taking that away from them this season with the level at which they are performing.

I’m surprised no one is talking about this news. For me, it’s the biggest news this week, the 21 year old English player has been cleared of all charges. What’s the fate of Greenwood’s future in Manchester United and football? Will Manchester United finally terminate his contract or will we see him wearing the reds once again
At this time, even though he has been declared innocent and has been cleared of the case that happened to him, I still think it will be difficult for Greenwood or Manchester United to bring him back.
Looking at the current conditions and looking at some of the comments from a broader perspective, we are now divided into 2 camps between those who support and those who still condemn when he was released after committing violence.

I think it's a little tricky for Greenwood and still won't be able to play regardless existing results.

Mason Greenwood is one of the best young prospects in English football, it’s a shame he got himself involved in a such problems that almost cost his career. Hopefully this recent development on the case, he will coming back to the pitch again. Although things are not yet clear from club side but hopefully it will all be resolved soon and we will see Greenwood on the pitch again

PSG versus Bayern Munich is one interesting game I can't wait to see, this game holds much expectations and anticipation and I'm sure it will be very intense. We all know how competitive the Champions league games are, there is no other European club competition beats it. PSG have to be fully prepared for this clash because Bayern Munich are not a side to joke around with or underestimate. It’s a shame Kylian Mbappe will be absent in this match due to the injury he sustained in the Montpellier game. PSG will have to do without him for a couple of weeks.

Dortmund performance were quite impressive lately that 3 winning streak on Bundesliga makes their positions lifted up to 4th position and they are not necessary to buy more players in this transfer window but Dortmund can stabilized their performance and for Chelsea i can see Potter has attempts to improve Chelsea performance with spend a lot of money to gets new players and this is interesting to see how far those players can able to help Chelsea gets positive results in this competition and i can understand if the bookie placed Chelsea as the favourite in this match because from squad composition Chelsea far to better than Dortmund
Its seem Borussia Dortmund have better performance than Chelsea as team opponent in UEFA Champion League round 16, winning last three matches in Bundesliga and success bring back to the top fourth standing behind 3 points left from Bayern Munich. Different situation with Chelsea most active in window transfer and last deadline days break Primer League window transfer record after signing Enzo Fernandez.

Chelsea still have inconsistent performance actually after FIFA World Cup 2022 and have won two matches from last 7 matches in all competition, seems drastically poor performance in domestic league and eliminated from FA Cup after beating by Manchester City 4-0. Lets waiting two matches later before Champion League how performance from Chelsea in domestic league.
Borrusia Dortmund might have been better in terms of performance this season in all competitions but as of now, Chelsea have spent so much money building a better team and with the new incomings I think Chelsea will play a lot better when they go head to head with Dortmund. I will definitely bet on Chelsea to win.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 02, 2023, 08:25:03 PM
Graham Potter is in a position to make the transfers he wants and right now he should think about who he will bring to the team and take that step.  The choice available to Potter is incredible.  There are situations such as the ability to spend unlimited.  After spending so much money, the main goal should be to get into the top 4 in the league and build a squad that can be champion for UCL next year.

So what happened to financial fairplay? I thought that it was introduced a few years ago to prevent that a club, that is owned by a sheikh, an oligarch or by other super rich people, can just buy every good player out there. Seems like financial fairplay is already dead again, what a shame. Also i want to  add that, just because you have a lot of money to spend, does not automatically guarantee success. How many Champions League trophies has Paris Saint Germain won since it is owned by that sheikh and since they have spent hundreds of millions of € for new players? None at all. So just because Chelsea has now spent a lot of money does not make them stronger.
Also just because they have spent 130 M€ for Enzo Fernandez does not mean that he is performing like a 130 M€ player. His market value is 55M€. It's Chelseas fault alone, that they have spent way to much for him.
I believe there are certain rules which sum up as the fair play rules and if any is been defaulted then Chelsea will have to answer for them and if not then they just executed the perfect transfer window, you are also right that PSG have not won the Champions league they have been chasing even with the much spendings they have made in recent years but Chelsea could be different with the right manager. I just hope these players don't turn out to flop or overhyped.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 02, 2023, 08:09:10 PM
Everton now have a new manager in Sean Dyche, and Dyche will have to get more out of the same squad he inherited from his predecessor Lampard. I know him as a man that can breathe confidence into his players. Now they'll playing against Arsenal at the Goodison park and I feel Dyche will want to prove point by getting a result. Arsenal won’t take it easy even though they’re away but I’m still not sure how the outcome would be.
Every manager will want to prove some points to the management and the fans that they made the right choice appointing them as the new manager and Dyche will be no exception to this but facing Arsenal who are in good form this season and have managed to stay consistent will be a difficult test for him probably he could register his first loss too, I'm sure Arsenal won't go easy on Everton and will try to deliver their best performance in this fixture.

If not that Felix has been suspended for 3 matches, this could have been a perfect time to get back at Fulham after getting a red card for his mistake, however, he will definitely miss this one again till next week but they should be able to do win Fulham with there recent squad addition, they have spent more 300 million, more than was 15x of what was spent on Laliga to signed 8 good players, they should utilize that resources in a good way, they will see the intense result and shift from the table, Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez hype should be worth all this attention they have drawn from the public, 10th place isn't something they should be sitting with anymore.
I'm sure Chelsea will still be battling with the disappointment of losing to Fulham in the first leg meeting which also saw Joao Felix get sent off for a bad tackle on his debut day. The second leg will be tougher I expect and with Chelsea's new additions Potter is likely to field a more stronger eleven to face Fulham. I hope Enzo Fernandez plays cause I would love to see how well he would perform in the blue shirts.

I have been vote with this discussing about ''Will Ten Hag be the guy to bring the glory days back to United?", based on current standing awhile I think Erik Tan Hag have been success manager for Manchester United because bring back to top fourth standing, qualify to playoff round in UEFA Europe League, The Red Devils still exist in FA Cup on 4th round until first achievement with final stage in EFL Cup.

I think Erik Tan Hag will give first tittle for Manchester United fans trough EFL Cup against Newcastle United in final stage, still left many competition and Manchester United under Erik Tan Hag era has potential get many trophies left in this season.

I can't say if he is the man to bring back the glory days for Manchester United, it’s too early to call it but surely he has been impressive this season and I will give him credit for how well he has improved the team. I also think that since Ferguson, Ten Hag is the only manager that understands the players better and has shown how good he is tactically so I believe with the right players he can do better for Manchester United.

The problem is Real Madrid itself is experiencing a phase of difficulty in scoring goals, that's what they are worried about now. Valencia is not a very tough opponent for Real Madrid, but if they implement a good defense it will create bigger problems for Carlo Ancelotti's squad. However, I hope it will be a win for Real Madrid, no matter how many goals they score, so as not to let Barcelona move comfortably at the top of the table.

Valencia is really going through a lot of problems this season. The club have not been the same since the departure of coach Unai Emery. The management just sacked Gennaro Gattuso for a very poor performance this season. The club ended last season in ninth position and the management was expecting a better performance this season. But this expectation seems impossible because they are currently in 14th position, just winning five matches after playing eighteen games. I think Valencia might not find this match easy against Real Madrid. But it is possible that coach Voro Gonzalez might want to prove a point with this game. Real Madrid attack have not been at it best and it has been having some defensive blunders recently. But I wish Valencia would win the match just to give its fans a game to celebrate.
Unai Emery did so well with Valencia and have made an impression that will be easy to forget in a long time. This season has been so tough for Valencia, the club is facing a tough phase, they struggle week after week to stay consistent and give good results. As if finishing in 9th position last season wasn't bad enough they are currently sitting at 14th position this season just three positions away from relegation zone. Something needs to be done to save the season and prevent Valencia from getting relegated this season let's just hope Gonzalez can step up and be that man Valencia have been looking for to change the situation.

Maybe Manchester United have brought Weghorst to fill the space in their centre-forward position. But I still think that he will only be a temporary solution for the team.

Because I don't think they can do well with him in the long term. Manchester United would make use of a much bigger name while they are trying to reach the top and bring back their old times. Osimhen is their main target for this position in fact but I guess that they will wait until the end of the season before making any official offer. It will be really difficult for them to sign him even if Osimhen is likely to leave Napoli then. Because there will surely be some other big teams in this race also.
Weghorst is an important player in the team because he doesn't just complete the team numbers but he gives options in the centre forward position and comes as a backup to Martial who seem to be prone to injuries and can be sidelined at any point in the season. I'm not so sure about Osimhen but definitely he will be a much better upgrade to Weghorst if he eventually joins Manchester United.

A fantastic defender has left the game, thus Didier Deschamps will look for a deserving replacement. Raphael Varane made a statement about leaving the international football scene. He is a tough defender who consistently makes life difficult for his rivals in France. Even though he will probably miss his colleagues and coach, it is time for him to give Manchester United his whole attention and give the younger players a chance to prove their mettle. According to Erik ten Hag, he will be a crucial member of United's backline. As he works to lock up a spot in the champions league and limit goal-scoring opportunities, Varane will be under more pressure.
This announcement came as a shock to some and as good news to some, for the french fans this comes as a shock been informed that one of their favorite centre backs finally hangs the boots on international football while to Arsenal Fans this is good news as William Saliba will finally get his time as a replacement for Varane. Manchester United fans will be also excited now they have Varane all to themselves and fully focused of United.

Source: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11696647/What-games-Manchester-United-midfielder-Christian-Eriksen-miss-suffering-ankle-injury.html

Talking about Manchester United in their next match against Crystal Palace, it seems that the Red Devils will not be strengthened by one of their mainstay players Christian Eriksen who suffered an ankle injury against Reading in the FA Cup match last week. Eriksen had to be absent for 3 months after receiving a hard tackle from Reading's Andy Carroll and in the match against Crystal Palace it is likely that Erik ten Hag will include Tominay or Fred in the starting line-up as a replacement for the injured Eriksen.
Manchester United without Eriksen against Crystal Palace in the premier league fixture will be a tough match, already Crystal Palace have shown they can be problem to Manchester United when they drew the first leg game against United with a late free kick goal to end the game in a draw, the second leg could be similar to the first because Crystal Palace will want to repeat same performance they had in the first leg.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 31, 2023, 12:06:57 PM
Chelsea are currently undergoing an overhaul of their team, they have bought around 6-7 players in this January winter transfer window and they are currently still chasing Enzo Fernandez, and if the reports we are getting lately are true, then they might prolly be close to signing the Argentine midfielder, the thing about Chelsea's overhaul is that it started pretty late, and we might begin to see its effects next season, though i personally think they would have to change their manager as well (even if he was just recently appointed).
I kinda like the current development going on at Chelsea. Boehly has a vision and as an ambitious business man is trying to build the squad to a certain standard and he is willing to invest so much to make it happen. They are also bidding for Enzo Fernandez to boost their midfield strength. I hope Todd Boehly can remember that they may not get immediate results, it will be probably from next season they will start seeing changes.

If Chelsea really decide upon changing their manager by the end of the season then I would like to see Tuchel back in the team. Because Chelsea were already strong under his management until this season. He was sacked for some other reasons related to the team's visions. Maybe it isn't sensible to expect him back in the team after this happened. But he is one of the most fitting coaches for this team. Or some other solid manager like Zidane would be lovely to see but to be realistic I don't expect him to come here.

As for their Fulham match I will be expecting Chelsea to defeat them this time. The previous match between them was really unlucky but Chelsea must have learned a lot from it.
I also think Thomas Tuchel is the right candidate to move Chelsea forward especially with the current squad at hand but with the way and manner of the dismissal and the controversies behind it all I doubt Boehly will ever consider bringing back Thomas Tuchel to the club. For now I don't see Zidane in the picture either.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 31, 2023, 09:23:52 AM
I don't know how the AC Milan coach wants to focus on the Champions League title. Is he daydreaming? Almost every team in the Champions League is very strong. Each has strong squads. Milan are also dropping points against weaker teams in Serie A. I don't know how they can win against the giants in the Champions League. I'd say they'll lose badly against Tottenham too. The team conceded 5 goals against Sassuolo. How will they resist Kane and Son's attack?
It could be different later in the Champions League, especially when the opponent is not as strong as you might imagine, the defeat against Sassoulo was quite strange and embarrassing, but every game has a different result, moreover, this is also a different competition from the league, of course the motivation will also be different and Tottenham is almost the same as Milan, inconsistent and sometimes losing to weak teams in the league
Ac milan must be ashame with the result in serie a. Even though milan will be facing easy opponent but this is UCL where almost all of clubs have very strong squads. Totenham can be considered as a strong opponent for ac milan. Ac milan was losing against mediocre team in serie a and how can ac milan win against totenham as a strong team in EPL?I doubt that ac milan will even beat totenham in the first leg. Ac milan faces horrible situation right now. I doubt ac milan can come back later.
Tottenham vs AC Milan is a 50:50 winning probability for both sides in my book because at the moment neither of the two teams have been consistent or have a stable run of form this season. Both teams have almost the same squad quality so the outcome of that game will depend on who performs better on that day.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 31, 2023, 09:12:40 AM
I would have trusted Everton more about getting themselves out of the relegation area if they brought Bielsa instead of Dyche. Because Bielsa is a manager who has a great experience level with a couple of big European teams in his career. He was like the best candidate for them considering the possible alternatives. Because it was difficult for Everton to reach an agreement with top managers while they were in a miserable condition in the Premier League. However Bielsa didn't want to sign for Everton unfortunately.

Dyche doesn't have any experience with any big team now. Everton are an average team now of course considering last two seasons especially. But still they have skilled players and hopefully Dyche will find a way to use them effectively.
Talking about coaching experience and the team's level at the moment, Dyche might not have experience with a top club, but I wouldn’t rate Everton as a top club except for the fact that they are playing in the premier league but that aside they are an average team, I’m confident Dyche will be able to manage the team well, it will only depend on his individual quality as a coach to be able to do that.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 31, 2023, 08:20:43 AM
I don't see messi being as greedy as cristiando ronaldo, moreover messi is not very old yet anyone can see that messi's moves are still the same, also messi's dribbling quality is still far superior in relation to many players , while in the case of cristiano ronaldo he started by not participating in manchester united friendly matches in the pre season games, and this meant that the manchester united coach did not put ronaldo to play and with that ronaldo's skills declined a lot to the point of having a bad performance in the world cup, and again he went to complain about the coach which made him stay on the bench, while messi thinking about having some cases reported that he also complained about the barcelona coach, the one who destroyed the barcelona he was before xavi, messi still has 100% of his active skills, he doesn't need to go play in arabia where they have low quality soccer

I don't agree with the narrative that Ronaldo was greedy by accepting a move to Al Nassr. Ronaldo is aged and his performance level has dropped drastically compared to when he was in his prime. Playing at top level at the moment was being too dramatic, moving to Al Nassr was the best decision for Ronaldo. I have matched some Al Nassr games since Ronaldo joined at they play good football and the league is also competitive.

I’m not sure how to feel about a potential move for Jorginho. He’s got the experience and EPL proven but he’s too poor for my liking defensively. All in all, I’ve come to the point where I’ll back the decision of the board (at least for now). If they think getting him will be the needed push to get them over the line then so be it. Jorginho isn’t as bad as many people want to make them believe but with their trajectory and their recent transfer history, I can’t help but feel how most of you feel about this deal. He’ll definitely help the team if he comes though.
Jorginho isn't so bad as most people say he is and I believe a player can improve in performance with the right team, the right atmosphere and also with the right pairing and partnership. Jorginho could be a good signing in the end. I also trust Mikel Arteta to be able to bring out the best out of Jorginho if he finally goes to Arsenal. He could also be taken on loan for the remaining six months.
