1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is RarityTrade exchange legit ??? on: May 06, 2019, 04:35:25 PM
Greetings, I just want to ask if this exchange is legit since someone on telegram asked me a favor that I should create an account to this website https://raritytrade.com/ https://raritytrade.com

I have made an account but the password I used is too far from the passwords I used to register from the legit exchanges and the email I used is a dummy email since it was really suspicious to me.

Honestly, I just heard this exchange site for the first time. It looks like this RarityTrade is a new exchange, and I really don't recommend this kind of exchange. There are still many big and famous exchanges, you don't need to use new exchanges that don't have a good and bad reputation.
1102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook who planned on: May 06, 2019, 04:01:46 PM
After the banking giant JP Morgan Chase launched its own digital currency (JPM Coin), it was the social networking tycoon Facebook who planned to develop their own electronic money project, with participation of the 'big boys' have made the electronic money market more active and stimulated the need for more electronic money.
It is important to know that most banks and credit institutions now charge fees for services and this is the weak point for the electronic money project of "big men" with billions of users. "Create a" flat world "without charging for electronic payment transactions, giving users better security technologies (blockchain) and benefits.

Everyone is talking about Facebook and its plans about cryptocurrency or blockchain network. But there is no real announcement about it. Where did you hear or read this? A few weeks ago, Facebook's CEO M. Zuckerberg talked in F8 Developers meeting. But he didn't mention about cryptocurrencies. If he has a thought about it, wouldn't he mention in that meeting?

It's true that rumors about Facebook will issue their own coins since last year and until now there is no real evidence from Facebook to develop the coin.

In my opinion Facebook will indeed issue its own coins, but Facebook itself does not want to be serious about it and I think in the future when digital currencies become popularity, Facebook will really be serious about this Facebook coin.
1103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: May 03, 2019, 03:15:04 PM
that is not the ugly side of "bitcoin", i would go as far as saying it has nothing to do with bitcoin. it is all about the ugly side of the electric producing companies that have been producing it inefficiently and with lots of pollutions. bitcoin is just using what is offered to it by them. we can't change everything. we have revolutionized the concept of currency from being centralized to being decentralized, you can't expect us to also revolutionize the electricity production too!

I agree with you that it is not the bad side of bitcoin because bitcoin has nothing to do with environmental pollution. When energy use begins to be inefficient we cannot blame what other people do, because more and more energy technology is increasingly needed.
The rest is the task of the energy company to be smarter in developing strategies.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market unstable on: May 02, 2019, 02:43:50 PM
This few month , crypto market is unstable.
going up and coming down..

so what is your move right now ?
- keep it and trade or
- buy while is cheap or
- sell it ? Huh

I intend to buy it but scared will drop again. confuse
My move is just hold it until the price come back to a good price, market is unstable indeed but i think the market start becoming better since last month.

I guess holding is still the best one, so i just wait and hold my tokens until the market goes up.

holding is indeed the best way, but when the price is too far away and has the potential to go down, selling is the right choice. If you bought a storiqa last year, keep holding it now, then your storiqa will become trash.
Holding is good, but it must be thought through.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not buy Ethereum on: May 01, 2019, 02:47:24 PM
Now I will name just three reasons why you should not buy Ethereum. Of course, you can call an almost infinite number of reasons why you should not buy airwaves, but we are not chasing after quantity, but quality. I believe that these three reasons are enough to not even think about investing in the air.

1. The ether has infinite emission.
Even if there were no other reasons, I would still not have bought Ethereum because of the endless issue. Gold will cease to be gold, if it is endlessly "printed." Did you know about this?

2. Ethereum regularly hosts hurricanes to return, for example, stolen funds and this greatly undermines the decentralization of the coin. In this way,
large investors may be wary of investing in the air because of fear of losing money.

3. The hurdles are conducted only for very large investors, for example, because of the DAO fund. If you steal even one million dollars, you probably will not get anything back. There is discrimination.

What do you think?

Indeed ethereum has an unlimited supply, but so far ethereum is still able to improve its position. And that's because many projects use the ERC20 token from ethereum.
But I don't think we need to worry about buying ETH coins, because the price will continue to keep up with the development of bitcoin
1106  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 16, 2019, 11:47:09 AM
I personally wouldn't use such a debit card yet due to the high volatility of BTC, but I would surely be interested in it once the value of BTC stabilizes and the volatility lowers.

There are several Bitcoin ATMs available already which is why Bitcoin related debit cards might come out in the near future.
Agree with you, I am not interested in using a bitcoin debit card but I support the bitcoin debit, at least that adds to the strength of bitcoin.
If I only transact in the real world, I prefer fiat. But I am sure this Bitcoin Debit Card will be realized in the future.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Cowboy Binance Wants to on: April 16, 2019, 11:43:02 AM
http://fortune.com/2019/04/15/binance-regualtion/

Compliance focused strategy seems to be leading the way with Binance's recent partnership announcement with cyber security and blockchain forensics firm CipherTrace. Fraud and money laundering are real and if we can somehow avoid it at all costs that seems fair to me, what are your thoughts?

Crypto is supposed to be private and unregulated, it seems like it would only slow things down for everyone while the launderers would find another way...

If it is allowed to continue, many victims will even cause bankruptcy. In my opinion, the regulation is valid, provided that it maintains a decentralized blockchain system.
I am very supportive of the steps taken by the binance
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2019, 08:50:35 AM
It will not be steadily since fiat is the leading currency for most the upcoming time. we will get to those values if the majority dont sell to fiat but keep it to spend it again on products/services that will do the same. where more fiat is coming inn less is going out. its a mind set that needs to change.
Fiat is indeed the main currency, but the problem is not being in fiat bitcoin nor will it be valuable without fiat currency.
The problem is bitcoin halving, maybe this can be a profitable and detrimental one. I am sure that in the future bitcoin will be higher but there must be several factors that are obstacles, which are clearly not fiat
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is still productive on: April 14, 2019, 02:36:50 PM
A lot of speculation has been made regarding that altcoins are dead we have seen fewer initial coin offering this year ~snip~

Anyway, what altcoins do you mean here, are they new altcoins or top altcoins? I think it should be clearer firstly. For new altcoins, I think they become fewer this year because investors seem not really interested to invest in new altcoins. Many investors prefer to buy top altcoins that can be safer to be their assets. I think it makes sense, during a lot of scams and failed projects, they must be more selective.

I think he meant the top altcoin, indeed altcoin is still capable enough to generate profits, altcoin tends to be faster in its market movements than bitcoin which only tends to be quiet in place. Although all altcoins are influenced by bitcoin, I always take positions when bitcoin improves
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 14, 2019, 02:28:08 PM
The decentralized exchange is a p2p system, and no system is not vulnerable in terms of security. The purpose of decentralization of exchange is that there are no centralized rules in transactions, they all use decentralized systems but when the system is hacked all will be possible
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you have to take risks. on: April 14, 2019, 02:15:48 PM
Absolutely, without taking risks we will not get valuable experience in doing things.
Successful people must have gone through a lot of risky choices, they have passed it with a lot of experience and with high trust
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: April 14, 2019, 02:07:40 PM
Being a daily trader must have good knowledge in analyzing the market and requires considerable time every day. But unfortunately I am a part-time trader who does not have both, so I can only hold and believe it will grow
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your trading strategy? on: April 14, 2019, 02:04:50 PM
Many, I prefer to buy when prices go down and hold the long term, until prices rise high. That's because I don't have the time to become a daily trader, but I have great confidence in cryptocurrency so that's my only strategy
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what token you hodl on: April 14, 2019, 01:09:03 PM
Holders do have a big advantage, but they must know what coins they hold. Now a lot of junk coins, so it's not easy to choose coins that are profitable among thousands of coins. All depends on how you analyze each coin
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new Projects? on: April 14, 2019, 12:50:42 PM
I think this is very difficult to do, because everything depends on the developer. The average developer wants to make his own project and not be from someone else's project. I agree with your argument, to improve and develop a failed project, but that seems impossible
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What has become of the whitepaper document on: April 14, 2019, 12:46:09 PM
It all depends on the development team in my opinion, before reading the whitepaper I always see the development team, whether the project team is strong enough to run this project or they are just a scammer hiding behind this project. So always analyze the project before following it, be a smart people
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young africa looks crypto for payment on: April 14, 2019, 12:41:08 PM
So this news make altcoins become useful because crypto meaning is was include altcoins to become useful as mode of payment.

in case you haven't read the link you posted yourself i suggest you go ahead and read its content instead of only its title. it is only talking about bitcoin and its adoption in Africa and other places not altcoins!

yes, the news actually refers to bitcoin, but crypto is also included in the altcoin even though the news is more about bitcoin. It is a good development that more support for the world of cryptocurrency
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x - The next Steemit? on: April 14, 2019, 12:34:49 PM
For now I have not used this platform and I just heard it. I am not a blogger but I think this platform is a good alternative to steemit, because steemit in my country is blocked and inaccessible
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we should do for bitcoin on: April 14, 2019, 12:32:46 PM
One of the most important is large media, because large media can make changes to crypto. But unfortunately there are not many large media that support crypto, they are only pursuing news broadcasts, whether it's FUD or not, they don't care
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: April 14, 2019, 12:30:25 PM
yes, I'm ready, the price of a few days up is a sign that there will be a new growth in crypto. A lot of good news appears that can pump crypto prices higher
