The easiest and maybe even safest way to make a backup is to keep it somewhere online. Just hide it into a crypto container before doing anything.
If you keep your seed phrase online, you are giving it less security because online is not secure. You have your wallet to be an offline wallet or a hardware wallet and you keep the see phrase online, what is the point that the wallet is offline. The best you can do at least is to backup your seed phrase offline. Or probably you meant offline. |

We can not see anything. What if the person is a bitcoin developer and planning something? That does not make him Satoshi. The only Satoshi I can believe is the person that will sign a message with the address linked to Satoshi in the past and Satoshi has not done that. If Satoshi will come, he will give evidences that he is Satoshi that nobody will be able to question further. That person that called himself Satoshi on Twitter is not Satoshi unless he proves otherwise. |

They are too expensive for me. I just like the normal way, noiseless and unnoticeable way which is a pen or pencil on a paper that is resistant to fading. This has been the way I backup my seed phrase.
A better way is to get a glue and thick nylon that can be used for lamination and carefully laminate the paper. But this is getting noisy for me.
I am a small holder. This metal backup will be good for whales.

The background of my question. Recently one user, let's call him "someone", called my posts-reports in this thread stupid. That, they say, plagiarism on the forum - this is strictly the business of moderators. That it is not our, ordinary users, business.
Reporting plagiarism is the work of anyone that is interested but moderators are the ones that have the power to make the final decision to delete the post and ban the user. Moderators do appreciate those that are reporting unwanted posts on this forum and it makes their work easier. I would like to add that this user has a shallow mind, because in my person he called the posts of all those who write such posts-reports in this topic stupid.
It turns out that Mr. LoyceV has created his own thread for stupid report posts and everyone who posts there (and DT1 members also post there) writes stupid posts. And also get merits for those stupid posts.
Oops, but what is this? Mr. LoyceV even said thanks for my stupid post report. And even gave me a merit. But how come? For a stupid post?
You supposed not to mind people that are against anything there, likely one of their accounts has been banned because of their stupid plagiarized contents. So still, is there a need for such posts-reports? To make the forum cleaner and to help moderators. Or all those who post in this thread are wasting their time and doing unnecessary work?
Why asking this question when you know the answer that reporting spam posts is good. |

What some people consider as good return is to never lose a trade. Even if it is 1% and no loss, it is a good return. As for me, I will prefer at least 100% annual profit but it also depends on the amount of money that you put in it. The higher the money the lower you will want the risk to be and the more the lower the risks, the lower the return in percentage.

The exchange does not have TRC20 USDT. I hope the exchange will support it, it is not that old and they will support more coins later. Only ERC20 USDT that the exchange is supporting for now. You can read what FinneysTrueVision posted, but you should know that coins can be seized on instant exchanges because they are centralized. |

I did not see monero/USDT trading pair on Bisq. You can first convert the USDT to bitcoin on an instant exchange, then convert the bitcoin to monero on bisq.network, convert the monero back to bitcoin and exchange the bitcoin back to USDT on an instant exchange. To do that, you can use https://exch.cx/ for the instant exchange Use https://bisq.network for the decentralized exchange. Or to make it simple, use Tor on https://exch.cx/ to convert it directly. On all exchanges, sub account will not have anything to do with your main account, they are different and they have different addresses which can not be linked and also can not be the same.
Even if the address is linked, it would be in a way that it can not be linked to you. If some peope is able to trace the addresses, they will only be able to trace it only to the exchange not you. I am talking about scammers.
The problem with exchanges is when you get verified and data is breached on the exchange which can be linked to you.

I recently received an offer of financial help. The guys wants to help me by sending me 5k worth of btc. I started a btc wallet, and he claims he sent it, but that I need to purchase 100 dollars worth of btc for the 5k worth to show up.
The person only wants to scam you. If you pay that $100, you have been scammed. Avoid what looks too good to be true and do not expect easy money from anymore, the money that you do not work for. They are just ways scammers use to attract victims to pay them money. I guess they have upgraded the scam a little bit.
But there is no upgrade to know a scam. I am always surprised that some people can fall for this kind of scam. It is distinctly a scam. |
