1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2years of trading! on: March 31, 2023, 09:19:09 AM
Trading is not about reading of books or hypothesis of other traders but you have to be there and done that yourself. Some writers of trading books or journals are not traders or are fall out traders who don't have the courage to continue in losses because they are confused and can rely on their failure to begin to profit outside trading by writing journals on it. Trading is practical, no matter what you have read on trading, be prepared to make your mistakes and move from it by giving yourself time to correct it.

this is trading discussion sub board so it's obvious all or most of the people are familiar with trading and are trader, so i just suggested books on discipline to gain more knowledge and shared some rules in one lines which you will understand when you think about it .
and reading books, watching youtube taking course, will just increase your knowledge and you are not going to be a better trader by taking courses , when you will depsoit some money and trade with that then you learn the real thing.
i suggest beginners to after learning about TA and basics they just deposit very small amount and trade with that you will learn morethan that youtube videos and courses.
1102  Economy / Trading Discussion / 2years of trading! on: March 31, 2023, 08:52:40 AM
i was started trading 2 years ago, and i learned so many things and written some rules and tips that i learned after every trade,
i thought it is helpful to many of other traders, and also so many good quotes are there, read one quotes think understand move to other quote, and follow.
here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OsNMJRRp-3qmZA81BuGJyHsCwKsOunWr/view
Every line has a hard learned lesson and can be written a short book of each line.
discipline is most important to trade like a robot, discipline matter more than winrate. I suggest this two books , 1. disciplined trader , 2. trading in the zone , if you can't afford these books then there are so many websites availed to download for free or you can watch summary on youtube 2 times .

1105  Economy / Service Discussion / How much you have earned through crypto referral on: March 30, 2023, 05:01:14 PM
Means refering from crypto related site like nexo, binance, etc.
this is kind of affiliate marketing,
I had tried by running ptc ads on PTC site (no google adsense or facebook ads) I didn't got results(which is obvious why someone invest in nexo if he is trying to earn through PTC sites)
how you refer what do you do to convince anyone to make account on sites. like you have blog, website, etc.
i heard on this forum, some people said i had over 100 referral. i also want that much referral, can you suggest some ideas?
1106  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallets Lifespan on: March 30, 2023, 04:38:27 PM

What are you worry about? If you worry about your fund being lost, take note that you can recover your wallet at any time using your seed phrase.

I worry about using a harware wallet and once I need to sell the hardware fails. Flashdrives have failed. A non custodial wallet I can restore, can I restore a hardware wallet refusing to connect?

I work web, and have around different 6 Backup drives, some hidden, due to that policy some drives failed after a few years.
Our temps are around 30 to 35 degress celsius.

Theft is another issue.

Mostlike the battery will be the weak spot on a hardware wallet.

#taking too many backups are also very dangerous if you have serious amount, what if someone got one of you backup from 6 you have (i don't know how many backups are good because i don't have that much amount to worry about backups, just a tip to consider)

#and that temperature is safe, don't worry about that.

#also if you hold enough money in crypto and buying a new hardware wallet doesn't seems expensive to you (if you have investment worth buying hardware wallets) then also don't worry because, if you have seed phrase and private keys then you can import it on a new wallet.

1107  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallets Lifespan on: March 30, 2023, 04:35:55 PM
These kind of things are designed to last for several years.
but it's important to note, no electronic device can last forever.as time passes, hardware components can degrade or fail, and this can impact the performance and security of the device.so it's good to periodically check for any signs of wear or damage to the hardware wallet and replace it if needed.
some tips to maintain the wallet and try and significantly increase the lifespan :

keep it in a safe place : to avoid accidental damage or robbed by someone, store your hardware wallet in a secure and safe place. Avoid leaving it in places where it have high chances to damage.
use protective casing: consider using a protective casing or cover to prevent scratches and accidental drops. Many hardware wallet manufacturers offer protective cases as an accessory(like phone have covers).
(a fun fact when i got a new phone i was kept that phone in a box for more than a year, you know that when we get new things then we do this type of kid like things, and the hardware wallet seems very cute like a small pendrive)
keep it away from extreme temperatures: exposure to extreme temperatures can damage the hardware components of the cute wallet. therefore, keep your hardware wallet away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or freezing temperatures.
Regularly update firmware: firmware updates can improve the functionality and security of the device. threfore, it's recommended to regularly check for updates and install them as soon as they become available.
use with care: when using your hardware wallet, handle it with care and avoid rough handling. don't use excessive force when plugging or unplugging the device from a pc or mobile device.
backup your wallet: make sure to create and store backup copies of your private keys in a safe and secure location. this will help ensure that you can still access your cryptocurrencies in case the hardware wallet fails or is lost.
1108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Rules to follow with bitcoin to live a happy life. on: March 30, 2023, 02:49:25 PM
Many people/I come to crypto for making so much money, But I am in loss now, I want to share some rules and mistake that beginner or most of the people make that is harmful for there mental and physical health.
1. Keep most of your holding in BTC
2. Swing trade is good
3. never take leverage more then you can afford to hold for a night and sleep with no worry.
4. Just buy and hodl, Keep our coins off the exchanges.
5. Never gamble with money/crypto you cannot afford to lose, Or never ever gamble
6. Do not worry just hodl and do your regular work. just forget about bitcoin after taking coins off the exchanges(do not forget of phrase and keys)
7. if you hold big amount then apply every kind of security available, to keep your  keys safe.
7><8. Always read terms and conditions before signing up or depositing on a crypto related platforms.
8. Stay away  scammy schemes
The recent growth of cryptocurrencies has given rise to numerous opportunities for fraud. It is important to be aware of the risks related to it because scammers are constantly searching for innovative ways to manipulate victims in order to steal their assets or demand money from them.

To protect our assets from cryptocurrency scams, we must be vigilant and cautious and have the ability to recognize when we are the target.
Scammers frequently use some of this techniques to trick people:

-Small investment large gains: Any investment scheme that asks you for money and in exchange for unrealistic profit expectations or massive assured cashouts within little period with little to no risk is probably a fraud. We should always be wary of any information offering high and unrealistic profits with no effort or hard work involved since fraudsters are going to any extent to make absurd promises merely to get naïve individuals in. If anything sounds too appealing to be true, then it's certainly not true and is most likely a scam.

-promises of quick money and giveaways: New investors are always greedy, which is why scammers use giveaways to get their attention in order to obtain all of the necessary information from the addresses they provide to aid their work. As a beginner, avoid giveaways because no one has free money to give you; instead, you must work hard.

-No trading experience needed: Scammers will tell you that you don’t need any trading experience or any specialized knowledge to participate all you need to do is invest then relax while they update you on how to go about it. Some will tell you that everything occurs without human intervention. Hence, you don’t need to know anything. Avoid falling for the such trick, it's all an effort to manipulate you so they can extort money from you.

-High pressure tactics: A key indicator of a potential scam is if you receive repeated messages and calls from the investment firm urging you to act quickly or risk losing the opportunity, Bonuses, or discounts that are being offered at the time. So it's Always important to take your time to research well and fully comprehend what you are getting into.

As a new cryptocurrency user we should never forget that there are some people who are always after our assets and they will go to any extent to steal them from us so we should be vigilant and safeguard ourselves and assets from any form of scam. Never feel any advice is insignificant and don’t overlook minor details they can be useful you might never know And always have in mind that there is nothing like free or easy money.

some ways to avoid fraud
-Never give out your personal information to anyone you meet online.
-Research and conduct a proper background check on every investment opportunity thoroughly before you invest.
-Double checking on website links to be sure its the right ones and  avoid clicking on links from unexpected social media messages or emails.
-only invest in things you understand.
-Ignore people who come out from nowhere asking you to invest and join a platform you don't know about.
-Ask questions before you act.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do trading in forex gives us 1:1000 or more leverage on: March 30, 2023, 02:09:51 PM
I am not a forex trader, but according to what I have heard from forex traders, they said they can leverage up to 1000x, but I am not sure how true is this.

As a crypto trader, the highest leverage I have seen is 200x. I first saw it on Huobi global. I also saw it on Pancakeswap.

is it real that they give leverage of 1:1000 or more to trade, isn't it's risky, or the currency market is very less volatile ?
I do not know about forex, but using leverage is very risky in crypto trading. Bitcoin is the less volatile coin, I still find it difficult to use leverage more than 5x, while I prefer 3x. I prefer 2x for altcoins. It is better not to even use leverage for some altcoins.

When I started to trade, I went for 125x, I lost all my money. I used 10x, not that good. I do not use more than 5x now. If I am very sure of the market, but not common, I can go for 10x and not going beyond. 10x is very volatile and not advisable too, only for special time you are more than sure that market is going towards your direction.

this mistake i have also done 1 year ago it takes only 1 or2 minutes to blow your account, at 125x or more leverage,
advice to newbie: never take more then 10x leverage it is very harmful to your account and health.
1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Are you profitable? on: March 30, 2023, 12:09:50 PM
In trading many people especially online influencers and traders, Are they really profitable? many new people trapped buy listening to those influencers that they say just you need to buy at this line and sell at this line. and whoa! you made profit, They just teaches people basic TA and charge huge amount to learn. but they doesn't share their personal journal or something, they say us that you need to make an journal, do that, do that ,
but they don't share there trades, I really get jealous of that kind of people they say to innocent people that you can make money out of this, and make money selling courses which i very basic that we can learn from a good affordable book.
some traders trade live and share there losses and wins, and after a month they share there total PnL(profit and loss) and they made real profits, (some people say they just share there other account's Pnl , we can't know that)
My question is are your profitable trader and can you share you journal or something ?, many of us will feel motivated.

1115  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Does miners hash rate remain constant? on: March 29, 2023, 02:28:27 PM
I have a question that I am bit confused about so I need a little explanation.
When mining a block do miners' hash rates varies as blocks are produced, or do they remain constant.

Furthermore, I discovered that encryption can offer strong protection when keeping our private keys and other sensitive data to prevent hacks. I looked through the forum but was unable to locate an understandable tutorial on how to encrypt a message. I need a little guidance on how to encrypt a message.
when mining a block, miners' hash rates can vary as blocks are produced this is because the difficulty of mining a block can change based on how many miners are currently mining on the network.if there are many miners, the difficulty will increase, and it will become harder to mine a block. if there are fewer miners, the difficulty will decrease, and it will become easier to mine a block. as a result, the hash rate required to mine a block can change over time.

i don't know why the mod deleted my previous reply about encryption , reason was off topic.
there are several ways to encrypt a message, depending on what kind of encryption you want to use. i can tell you a basic guide on how to encrypt a message using a popular encryption tool called GPG (GNU Privacy Guard):

1119  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How much money is enough money? on: March 28, 2023, 12:31:48 PM
the answer to this type of question is subjective and varies from person to person. what may be enough money for one person, may not be enough for another, it depends on individuals goals, needs, and desires. some people may feel that they have enough money when they can comfortably meet their basic needs(good home, saved money for children's education, all that good stuffs) and have some savings for the future. others may feel that they need more money to achieve their goals or to live a certain lifestyle. It’s important to carefully consider your own financial goals and priorities when determining how much money is enough for you.

for me 500k is enough it depends on needs.
