1101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Julian Assange to turn himself in to the US on: January 18, 2017, 05:18:20 PM
You read the new update on the article ? since this story was posted, Mr Assange's lawyer has suggested that the clemency granted to Chelsea Manning is unsatisfactory and he will not accept extradition.
1102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Reship services - BTC on: January 18, 2017, 05:01:16 PM
You can try USendHome, i haven't tried their service yet but meaning to. you can get great deal from purse.io if you want to buy something from amazon.

I checked them , since It got mentioned in a few news sites about bitcoin and they actually partnered with purse.io I assume Its a legit service but the problem is that I don't only shop with Amazon and also they have no DHL which is basically my favorite method since of the time my packages get lost If I don't use it.
1103  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for ideas for Bitcoin related site - I have capital on: January 17, 2017, 04:55:33 PM
I like the idea of a mobile game that pays BTC but I would need a good app developer that also has the knowledge to integrate automatic BTC payouts...

If you indeed have the money for the project as you claim then finding talented game developers and not app developers shouldn't be an issue. I suggest checking Freelancer , paying using BTC is not an option but the people there are the best in the industry.
1104  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for ideas for Bitcoin related site - I have capital on: January 17, 2017, 04:02:54 PM
A real huge 3D game. If you want to help bitcoin to grow instead of only making profit then you should make a game about BTC and add it to Google Play , It definitely require some funding and time to make a successful game. Ads should suffice to earn income If its really good.
If you don't want to do that then you could build a game but target only bitcoin users and pay them btc while playing which is more simple and require less time and funding then the first idea and the income should be from ads too.
1105  Economy / Service Discussion / Reship services - BTC on: January 17, 2017, 03:31:24 PM
I never tried these services but I recently found out about MyUS , the thing about them is that they don't accept BTCitcoin as a payment method. I need a service that does , I however need something legit and known and not a new service. It should be in the US clearly as I'm planning to shop from Amazon , Nike , Bodybuilding.com and some other websites.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 ether vs 1 btc on: January 17, 2017, 03:13:57 PM
Ethereum is definitely growing and with more tokens being based on their blockchain , there will be always demand for it over time for gas etc... I still see more potentials and bigger growth in BTC however , Its pretty much safe to say that bitcoin is unstoppable at this point with LN and SegWit coming. Both are good projects , I'd go 100% bitcoin If were you but If you don't want to take much risk then split them to 50/50.
1107  Economy / Exchanges / Exchanges with Apps ? on: January 16, 2017, 01:09:00 PM
I want to know what are the exchanges available out there with apps ? I know that CoinsBank have one for both android and iOS but I want an exchange with a bigger trading volume, more coins and more features in the app , lets say something as big as Poloniex for example.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who made big money? on: January 16, 2017, 11:29:25 AM
Everyone knows that the price was due to pump manipulation and It was obvious that Its going to decrease later , those who didn't sell probably thought that It will keep increasing so they kept holding hoping that It will increase to like 1500-2000$ per BTC and that's where they sell. I don't see why would anyone regret though, we will get there eventually anyway.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: January 16, 2017, 10:24:40 AM
Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?

As mentioned above , Starbucks is accepting bitcoin at the moment and I made a thread about it a few days back. If you are speaking about other services in general then yes , sometimes Its not really convenient to use bitcoin but I guess as long as fees are high , I see no reason why would the transaction won't get confirmed. Lightning network should fix this concern though , the alpha release was like a week ago and hopefully the development will stay as active as now so we see it implemented in the next months.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To make own crypto currency on: January 16, 2017, 08:09:51 AM
There is a decent amount of alternative coins that could be used for daily activities honestly and I don't think the market would need more , If you want to create something that people would actually use then you clearly need funding , probably running an ICO , having a team of programmers and advisors too. I mean you could follow some tutorial but It would simply be a copy of something that has in other coins but people will simply not use.
1111  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com | Safe, secure & trusted | BITCOIN WALLET on: January 16, 2017, 06:16:11 AM
I usually use Wifi while using your Android wallet but I will be using 4G instead in the next days which means I have a limited data use , Lets say 3GB per month. I wanna know whats the data usage of your application and how much MB/GB it would cost me monthly If I run it twice or thrice a day for mostly checking the balance only.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: January 16, 2017, 05:53:14 AM
Is it wise to invest into DASH and run a masternode ? how would It would cost me If I decide to do that and how much % should I expect to receive yearly or monthly ? 1000 DASH is a big amount with the current rates and I'm not sure how active the development is and If It could surpass Monero or not... I don't want to invest and see the coin dying after a few months from now .
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: January 15, 2017, 05:21:53 PM
Still no informations about when we are going to launch or how to apply to the early beta access ? I'm always checking both my email and the medium blog but can't find anything regarding this. ETA ? this month or the next ?
1114  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum vs Mycelium on: January 15, 2017, 03:05:35 PM
Welcome any thoughts on which wallet is better? More secure?

With no competitors , Electrum is the best wallet on desktop but when It comes to phone , I guess that two people can't argue about the fact that Mycelium is way better. A simple review and download count check on Google play could do the job and tells you a lot.
I'm not saying that ThomasV don't have the abilities to make a better wallet , he actually does but I see him more focusing on the desktop version.
1115  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB digital ocean coupons or vouchers on: January 15, 2017, 01:47:34 PM
I have no issue on taking PayPal as a payment method but I would like to know If you are buying accounts as well ? I have my own personal account for sale with 60$ on it. You should take in consideration that multiple 50$ vouchers cannot be used in the same account though.
1116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should be done for Bitcoin wallet security? on: January 15, 2017, 01:13:49 PM
Different wallet options are available for Bitcoin. There are Web, Desktop and Hardware wallets.
What are the things to watch out for these wallets? What should we do for the safety of our Bitcoins?

Only a few web wallets worth using these days but If its for holding large amounts of BTC then definitely not a good idea.
In the different types you mentioned , hardware wallets are the best choice , If we take Ledger Nano S as an example then using it cannot be an issue as long as you have the device with you and even If you use an infected PC that won't hurt you at all while on desktop applications , If you have a malware installed then you are pretty much screwed.
1117  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: which web wallet to use? on: January 15, 2017, 11:50:42 AM
Coinbase is definitely not a good idea , Its an exchange and they don't give you control over the private keys , they are providing data to IRS at the moment so Its not wise to use them at this point.
I started using BTC WALLET a while ago and I must say Its a very good wallet and I never had any problems with it so you should really check it out. I always used to use GreenAdress in the past and Its good too.

Look for the doted line

I get it now , and I assume that the ToolTip should appear once I put my mouse there ?

1119  Other / Meta / Edited posts on: January 14, 2017, 05:22:39 PM
Sometimes people gets asked to provide a signed message from an unedited post where they posted their address , I want to know how to confirm If a post is edited or not ? I know how to confirm that mine is not edited because It says so as for other posts , I don't see a way to do that.
1120  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gift cards with BTC on: January 14, 2017, 04:29:28 PM
I sell Amazon giftcards, with 8% discount. BTC or Paypal, gift option.  If anyone s interested, please PM me.

I will contact some people first on other forums and see how things goes , If they don't go well then you will be the first one I'm gonna contact but I guess I can find lower rates ?.

If you come from usa or canada you can take a look at cryfter.com. They sell gift cards for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, ect
giftbitexchange.com also is a place to buy and sell gift cards in exchange for bitcoin. so maybe vice versa is possible?
Another is bitcoingiftcards.com.au

I'm from Africa sadly and there are some services that I can't use due to country restrictions or the needed ID verifications.
