1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 07, 2022, 11:44:53 PM
Not degrading Casimero but this new environment of 122 lbs is really not for him. Akaho should be an easy win for him but taking on the current top 10 in the super bantamweight some of those are even undefeated. Let's say he got lucky to climb the top 5, the champions here are really tough to beat and I doubt Casimero can match those 2 champions holding the super bantamweight titles.

I hope Casimero can be considered by Inoue once the latter moved up weight. Inoue is expected not to go directly facing those champions once he moved up but for that fight against Casimero should happen, the Quadro Alas of PH should at least make it to the top rankings to be considered.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 07, 2022, 11:40:06 PM
There will be people to bet especially those who are a die hard fans of Inoue. He is popular enough to have gamblers on his back no matter what. On my end I'd go with betting on Naoya even if I'm not a die hard fan of him, I was just taking advantage of the odds. But to be safe I won't put that nuch money for this fight simply because I am still not aware of their full potential (would watch clips of both fighters a week before the fight so I can conclude which one) but I'd go for now with the crowd favorite. In sports, inspite of the difference between popularity and biases, things could be changed once the bell rings and as long as fighters are still up on their feet. Luck? that would work but in this sport, instincts and talents are more dominant.

Seriously? How you can even take advantage of the 1.02 odds?

And you even mentioned that you will put a low amount of money then how's the return?

It's like you put money on a gambling site for a day and if Inoue won, they will just give you the amount you put on your bet lol. Better save it in your pocket if you are about on Inoue Moneyline since no change on the amount you have placed.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 06, 2022, 11:53:23 PM
well, we will see the power of crawford here. and see if he is indeed ready for the most anticipated fight with spence jr. maybe, these 2 camps are testing the waters first before their big fight, which is understandable. not only for the boxer but also for the promoters. because they want to be sure what they're getting into if the money split is big deal on the table.

No. There is no testing of the waters on both Crawford or Spence.

Their anticipated fight failed because of some politics-related and some serious issues they are not disclosing.

Crawford now moves on and just needs to win at every of his fights without pushing now on a fight against Spence.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 06, 2022, 11:51:34 PM
Coming from a third-world country, $1 is already a big amount it's equivalent to 2 lottery tickets here and you still have $0.20 change I consider the $1 deposit as a good consideration for people coming from a third-world country, for $1 they can test the
the site, but there should be a minimum threshold to withdraw, or there will be congestion if they will allow no minimum withdrawal.

Gambling sites don't need to give that consideration to users from 3rd world countries. If the budget is really not that big, these people should not try their luck at gambling. A $1 deposit also requires fees and if multiple $1 will be deposited at different times, these people are just wasting some money on fees.

There should be a local gambling place that is present at these places. That's where they can gamble their low-budget amount and not on online gambling sites.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 06, 2022, 11:48:42 PM
Canelo rematch would be preferred by its promoter too. It's the money to get that counts. Bivol is very confident in his skills, he retained his title for a long time. Both orthodox are better to watch against a southpaw, thier front foot is too uncomfortable to watch, Bivol has stepped on Zurdo's foot many times. After Bivol found his range, he suddenly just keep throwing combo very timely pushing Zurdo to a corner.

Canelo rematch won't happen for now. Bivol wants to become undisputed at 175 lbs first.

After Bivol successfully become undisputed at 175 lbs then he can now accept any challenges since that would be a mandatory fight.

Promoters can't just organize a fight based on what the fans like because of certain circumstances.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 05, 2022, 11:03:41 PM
It could be sweet if Jerald was able to maintain and take home the win, but I guess his experience really shows in the latter round of the fight.

Jerald Paclar dominated the first 3 rounds and even sent Yafai to the floor. But the latter didn't lose his confidence and tried to stand strong until finally find his rhythm and turned the table on that fight. Lack of stamina is what I have noticed on Paclar as he might give it all right away in the early rounds already just to finish the fight early.

Although his strategy is effective, he just lacks the gas to keep being dominated the whole round.

The worst one, he didn't even win in one of the judges even with early dominance.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 05, 2022, 10:58:08 PM
Of course, it's sports betting, the chances are higher because there's no house edge, as long as you bet on odds that are higher than 2.00 and you win most of the time, most likely you will end up profitable, however, you also need to ensure that you have the skills to manage your bankroll effectively and the ability to control your emotion.

Odds starting from @2.0 is already considered a tough bet. It's hard to get consecutive wins on that line of odds. Even at @1.6 to @1.8 is also a challenge to get a win. Choosing odds like that really requires a good pre-game analysis and hope that luck will guide us lol.

I agree that emotion might start to influence everything when a bettor is rushing profits.

They might think of always choosing high odds for high return expectations.
1108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: November 05, 2022, 10:54:13 PM
I dont need your advice how dangerous those channels or groups are i know myself just Im looking For good pmpp channels.

Don't be arrogant. Don't think that most people here will just give you what you want without precautions and good advice. If that's your demand, don't seek any help here about that because no one believes here in the group or channels providing a signal.

Something like that doesn't exist. There's no way a signal can be predicted providing how heavy the volatility in the crypto-market is.

They are just milking money for their subscribers and seems you are willing to just give free money to them.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 05, 2022, 10:50:19 PM
But I'm just curious regarding on his weight, any news about him? It's so unlikely that we're not getting any news from him, I just wanna know if he's still struggling to get the required weight in this division.

He only struggled to maintain weight at around 118 lbs therefore at 122-125 lbs, there should be at least no problem.

Not that much news about him because we can fairly assume that this fight is not really a big fight to consider.

Maybe a few days or weeks before the fight, we can at least see some local sports news giving pre-match analysis on this fight.

True, 118 lbs was really a problem for him and I think his body can't no longer go that low without giving him any problems. So it's a right move for him to go 122 lbs, and I will speculate that he won't have a problem making this weight this time. If his walking weight is around 126 - 130 lbs, then it's easy to shed that 5 lbs or more in the 3-4 months that he will go full and hard training. And I will also assumed that he will get someone to monitor his weight along the way just to make sure that there will be no issues in his new weight class.

Agree with you both. Struggling in the 118 lbs is even the big reason to consider why he moved up weight as they don't want to struggle anymore catching that weight because maybe in Casimero's current lifestyle, he's now playing at around 125 lbs to 130 lbs.

Besides, if ever he is still at over 10 lbs at the required catchweight a few days before this match, he is allowed to do the sauna and everything lol. The use of a sauna is only prohibited under the terms of the British Boxing Council that's why Donaire even points out that it should not be the reason for Casimero being stripped with the title although the point there is, Casimero should follow the jurisdiction of the host country.
1110  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 05, 2022, 10:45:51 PM
As much as possible, we want a stable profit where we control our time. Unfortunately, that was not always the case even for a commission job. To make things not difficult, try to always choose where our time will be worth it and pays well.

Really hard to find a job that is convenient for some people and in return, pays well decently that's why as much as possible, if there's an opportunity to setup an own business, try to consider doing it.

It's really a good practice to work wise but sometimes really need to work hard first before being wise.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 05, 2022, 10:42:59 PM
Have you ever taught or predicted a game for someone which turn out to be a win,how big was it ?

I think we shouldn't make that a habit. Their money, their rules.

Even if they will give us consent that we won't be blamed in case of a loss, there's still a bad feeling in case our predicted bet given to them failed to win. There will surely be a blaming game but they won't just tell us about that.

Maybe instead of predicting the game for them, give them good pointers and more importantly, tell them to just stick betting with the sports they really know and are familiar with.
1112  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 05, 2022, 10:39:04 PM
With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

I think it's just obvious that when a company launches a crypto-gambling platform, the best place to market it is on the biggest crypto forum.

Unlike also other companies, crypto-gambling platforms really need to launch any kind of marketing and promotion in order to attract users and since the signature campaign is one of the good marketing methods here, that was considered a form of effective marketing.

The competition is also tight as there are lots of gambling sites out there that's why all forms of marketing should be considered.
1113  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: November 05, 2022, 10:35:01 PM
Keep accumulating crypto and you will reap the rewards in the future!

This sounds simple to do but it's no doubt that the majority are having difficulty doing this and that's the reality.

There are valid reasons though why it's hard to accumulate more even on the bear market:

- Anticipation that the price will decrease more
- No signs that a possible bull run might happen that's why still observing the market
- Not much money to risk especially if the purpose is to hold for long
- Not all people like to hold. Some try to take advantage if there's a price swing
- Others just follow on hype before accumulating more

If it's only simple for some people to just accumulate during the bear market for the purpose of holding long, we should see many of them rejoicing on good profits once a bull trend now starts to kick-off but it's not most cases we are seeing.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 05, 2022, 10:28:53 PM
How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?

It's no secret that during the pandemic, some physical casinos do some cost-cutting in order to save some companies' expenses while it's not possible for them to generate money because gambling establishment is not allowed to operate during the peak of the pandemic.

Right now, I think they already managed to cope with the situation and revenues are now starting to flow into their businesses.

I just hope that those employees who are being part of mass lay-off will be re-consider to get hired again.
1115  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance asking for KYC, again on: November 05, 2022, 10:23:46 PM
My best guess is that under the EU's anti-laundering laws, my Revolut proof of address wasn't an acceptable option anymore, and Stompix was right to point this out.

That's a good reference for those EU users that will experience the same. Good sharing your experience here.

As far as my own experience, I never did experience yet a re-verification process in Binance even though I'm actively depositing and withdrawing my money there (thru P2P).

I have also noticed that those users who regularly used bank transactions or credit cards are those who always triggered the re-verification process as far as my colleagues are concerned.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2022, 09:35:15 PM
Warriors are playing in a relax mode right now and to be perfectly honest it has been not even 10 games since the season started.

So you are saying that because the Warriors are relaxed, we will disregard the reasons why they lose on some of their games?

I know this is just a season game and different from the pressure of playoffs game but saying the Warriors are just relaxing is discrediting those teams who beat them, especially with the previous one, Orlando Magic.

Being relaxed is not in the vocabulary of the whole Golden State Warriors. They lose because of a problem and that's what they need to figured out.
1117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: November 04, 2022, 09:30:29 PM
Hello guys. What are the possible Currency pairs trading strategies that a newbie can follow up. It should be from personal observations, beliefs and practices. Thanks.

Newbies can really choose any currencies they want. But since you are newbies, maybe those who don't fluctuate much are the better to understand first and learn. You might want to try first the Bitcoin against Stablecoin pair like BTC/USDT pair and try your best to apply the BUY LOW SELL HIGH method as much as you can.

If you think you can handle a much volatile pair then you can switch to BTC/ETH or any other top coins next then slowly advance on other altcoins.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 04, 2022, 09:27:05 PM
"Is the bear market over? Hard to say, but a lot of the bad news was priced in. With a maximum drawdown of -28%, SPX discounted 85% of a typical 33% market decline and 78% of a recession bear market. I still like the 1946 counterpart-"

I don't want to consider the current market situation as still in a bear market because it's been the same situation, maybe several weeks ago up to now. It's just that market is not showing any signs of a bull run that's why other people still consider the current market situation as a bear. Not showing any signs of a price increase doesn't mean a bear market is still in effect.

If we are in a bear market, we should see our portfolios in a bloody status every now and then but that's not the situation we are seeing today.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 04, 2022, 09:19:46 PM
I only played the lottery when something on my mind triggers it but it doesn't happen mostly. Playing casino games, on the other hand, is sometimes my habit especially on fiat online sites since that was fun and even though I know that everything is luck here, I still risk my money here. Sometimes winning but not that much.

Sportsbetting is really the gambling type I preferred as we can play with the odds here even without luck. Although unpredictable, it's not that we are just doing some random guesses here.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 04, 2022, 09:16:14 PM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts? If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?

In that case, your friend has no choice but to meet the required minimum deposit. That's not discouragement but rather the site is even saving your friend to save fees especially if we are talking about crypto-gambling sites here. Besides, tell frankly your friend that $10 is not enough to pursue gambling even just for fun.

About minimum withdrawal, as long as it's not crazy to reach then it's fine. For that, it's a good habit to read the terms about deposit and withdrawal and try to check what are the minimum in order not to be surprised. If not mentioned on terms, contact the support.
