Sorry this is coming late, but I'm from Nigeria (i.e Western part of Africa), and I just tried visiting the site now to see if you guys might have done some upgrade, but to be frankly speaking, it's still showing "Not available in your country", which I still don't know what might be the issue. But for me, I would love to say it would have been a very big privilege if people around this region are also given the advantage to explore around your casino, and that can only be possible if we are given access to it, because to say the truth, I still haven't been grant access to see how your casino looks like, and I will really love to.
I don't see your country listed under the restricted countries(terms and conditions) so there might be a chance for you to use their site in the future without using a VPN.

VPN is your only alternative option for now but if you want to keep it clean, then you have no choice but to wait indefinitely until they lift the restriction because that's how it was before when they still used Cloudflare for geo-restriction.

It's surprising to see an announcement from Valve about discontinuing the Dota Pro Circuit for next year.  Shocked

I guess it's also for the better after they mentioned the different downsides with the DPC like the downgrade in production and ESL will probably become one of the few organizers to start their own DPC since we already saw their point system had success on the side of CSGO. I'm looking forward to what structure they'll try to introduce next year since I thought the DPC was already good enough.

I think Secret will snatch BetBoom Dacha tournament trophy as they really look unstoppable with Sumail on mid right ? So far , puppey have draft in a way to make Sumail more free on the map to rotate and pick fights whenever he wants and so far it worked.

I'm also quite sad for Jim Park on BC as the hype around him was pretty massive before he arrived but he still needs to prove himself and so far he didn't. Maybe , he will beat EG as the game just started.
We'll see if they can surprise us tomorrow against GG because they're the only team standing in their way at this point and they might have to beat them twice, assuming we'll see the same matchup in the finals.

In the SA derby, BC somehow edged out EG. It felt like that third map was EG's game to lose because they were leading in net worth throughout the game and started taking down the raxes of BC around the 35th-minute mark. At the same time, Parker did well to sneakily push in one of the lanes while the others were defending.

Also, OG's looking promising after removing DM from their lineup and picking up Mind_Control as his replacement for the upcoming Dreamleague.

The telegram is 'clubtalkSB' if anyone want to join and participate  Grin
I missed the raffle, but thanks for sharing the Telegram group so I won't miss out on the future exclusive promos. Wink

I'm glad I missed the last MOTD because it was the Brazil match and they barely scored one against Peru.

Today, we'll have some Japan baseball for the MOTD and it's the match between Hanshin Tigers vs. Yomiuri Giants. The Tigers are on a 10-win streak and will likely extend that to 11 since the pitcher for the Giants has a 3-5 record. The MOTD for the Tigers comes down to the total runs that already went under in the last two matches, but I still like the odds we're getting when most of their previous results went over.

GG surprisingly dropped a map against TSM but they still got things done on the decider game.

Both favorites in the lower bracket seem like a solid combo but i'm only taking EG to win @1.7 since I see TSM got a good chance at taking out 9Pandas. I like EG a lot because Beastcoast continues to look mediocre and EG beat Team Secret earlier in the groups.

Our Newcastle promo is now live, go check it out and fill out the form sooner than later, not much to be gained by waiting on this one. There will be another set of 5 questions about first game closer to the deadline. All the discussion about the promo can go here but that thread will have better visibility to track your results.
I already answered all five questions but i'll submit mine during the weekend since it wouldn't hurt to hold for a few more days.  Wink

So it is a solid 0/3 for me so far and good to see that Strongkored also has given his best up until now! Wink
My opponent and I are also at zero points atm but it should change tomorrow with the Rugby WC question unless both underdogs get crushed by the favorites.  Tongue

What other funny and real betting exist like this you know of?

Would you try it out if you had the chance and resources to?

What are your thoughts on the concept and initiative behind this idea.? Is it worth investing time and resources in?

Can we classify this betting on food eaters on who eats more or less within a time frame, as a sport?
This reminds me of the hot dog eating contest, but most sportsbooks rarely cover these contests. I wouldn't try betting on these events if they somehow become available on crypto sportsbooks because it's almost a coin flip and there are better events that give you better chances of winning.

As a bettor, it's not worth focusing on these events unless you don't mind burning your bankroll for the experience because it can be unpredictable, and using previous information might not be as helpful.

Competitive eating could become a sport, but i'm not that familiar with most of the competitive eating events, so I would also say no.

Received $33 as usual, managed to make it up to $120 but lost it all eventually LOL.
I did not even expect we will get pre monthly bonus due to the recent lost by Stake as well as due to the fact that we got 2 monthly bonuses last month.
Maybe Eddie has just realized that he should do as what said by popular saying "give more to get more".  Smiley
I was also surprised that we even had a pre-monthly (I got around $25) after getting three bonuses in total last month. Maybe it's a tactic to make us forget the bad news.  Wink

With the post-monthly bonus, I got lucky and ran it up to $180~ through the US Open matches before losing most of it last week. Hopefully, i'd get the same kind of luck again with this month's bonus.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 13, 2023, 12:36:42 AM
I'd always pick small capital plus the big risk because I usually get the most out of my small bankroll when I play aggressively and losing doesn't feel as bad when you can easily let them go and move on compared to having a bigger bankroll.

When I used to play with a big bankroll, I had to carefully choose the games I had to play because that small risk is never small. In my experience, I lost more than I expected with these small-risk bets because it requires tens of bets before you can recover a single loss. You'll need a lot of luck to recover every loss because before you can recover your previous loss, another one comes in and then it's a matter of time until the house edge starts to take over.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A casino that matches with your current VIP Progress? on: September 13, 2023, 12:01:05 AM
I also remember that topic where they'll try to convert your current VIP level from stake to their casino but I can't exactly remember if it was discussed here or on their forum.

The only casino I remember that became a hot topic was Rollbit and they took advantage of the leak by giving out emails about bonus deposits to existing Stake users.

Then again, I think it's better to start all over again if you're switching to a new casino because converting your levels to another casino could mean missing out on the initial rewards you'll get from leveling up your VIP account.

That was a surprising game to kick-off week 1 for the first Monday night football match of the season!
Aaron Rodgers injured himself on just the 4th play of the game and got carted off the field.
From the looks of the xrays doctors had said he will be out for a couple of weeks.
What a very bad break for him and New York Jets fans when that happened so it didn't look too good for them to win since Zach Wilson was not ready to take the helm and be first string QB.
They looked terrible for the first half and things didn't get any better for them in the second half either.
But they managed to bring it into overtime with Josh Allen throwing two interceptions near or in the end zone for two gut wrenching turn overs.

New York Jets won the game at odds near 6.62x when they were down 16-6 and their prospective quarter back leaving the game within the first 3 minutes of the match.
I also heard Rodgers is likely out for the season because his injury was confirmed as an Achilles tendon tear.

On the other hand, the Bills deserved that loss due to the amount of turnovers they made during that game and the Jets' defense stepped up big time to force those crucial turnovers in the fourth quarter and shift the tides in their favor.

The impressive part is how they won during overtime via the punt return and the Bills were caught off guard.

Taking live betboom 2-0 vs TSM  as tsm have drafted troll map  1  Huh

For the next series as well taking 9pandas 2-0  for 2.6 odds

Had GG  earlier and they absolutely played map 2  for fun and lost to nigma galaxy, so embarassing   Angry
What a throw by BetBoom in the first map and that troll draft somehow worked for TSM. Now they're the first team to be eliminated in the tournament since every other team in their group has at least one 2-0. I feel you on GG's performance in map 2, and it's why I avoid relying on teams once they're already qualified for the playoffs.

Team Secret also threw the first map earlier against EG. It felt like they should've won that if they played it safe and didn't overextend in that extended team fight around the 45+ minute mark.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: September 12, 2023, 03:02:20 AM
I got a good start today with a parlay win on the matches earlier. Hopefully, I could end the day with a win in the last series of the day. That would end my day with a bang.
Team Secret is on a roll after taking down TSM 2-0. The first game was a toss-up and almost went in TSM's way but the PA plus the Pango casting long range swashbuckles and daggers (clip) gave Team Secret the edge on the later stages of the game.

With Team Secret only one map win away from securing one of the two upper-bracket seeds, i've decided to place a small bet on them to win the first game against EG. I know they could lose this and still win the second game to qualify but I think it's worth betting per map when they could potentially win both games to avoid facing Gaimin Gladiators in the playoffs.

1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You Manage Your Adrenaline Rush In Gambling? on: September 12, 2023, 01:42:45 AM
I'd keep myself distracted and do something else that'll keep my mind away from gambling because it's not good to immediately go back after losing my bankroll when it's only going to feed your desire to chase your losses and possibly develop an addiction.

It's good that you're willing to stop consuming drinks that would give you an adrenaline rush while gambling. But in my case, it's the other way around i'd rather sacrifice my gambling time or move my session to another day when I need coffee and other drinks to always boost me up in the morning.

It's been a while since I sent my entries this early.  Cheesy

The last question gave me a hard time since almost every team expected to win doesn't have the best recent results and will be up against a team with a similar form.

I already learned not to trust a couple of them but I have a feeling a few of them are due to win and will surprise me by killing my prediction.  Tongue
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: September 11, 2023, 04:50:24 PM
I didn't have a bet for any of the games yesterday, but I was sweating for my survivor pick between several pools since I had the Washington Commanders to win against the Arizona Cardinals. I was close to thinking i'll be eliminated because the Commanders turned the ball over to the Cardinals three times and couldn't get a touchdown during the second and third quarter.

I got the Bills @1.86 for my MNF bet later today. Even though the Jets look promising with A-Rod as their QB, I still have to go with the Bills because they're the more seasoned team. This will be a good test for the Jets but I think the Bills are the better play for today even without Von Miller.

So I will like to ask, is the use of VPN allowed for your casino or not? Because I won't want to see myself violating any rules.
I asked the same question to their support team a month or two ago and they said it's okay for me to use a VPN. The only catch is they don't want me to use it whenever i'm about to cash out. I still suggest messaging their support because they might have a different reply.

Second question: Or is the casino only meant for people in Europe?
I'm not from Europe, but I can easily visit the site.

It'll be a miracle if both specials would somehow hit today. Anyway, i'm still taking the favorite here and it looks possible when Portugal dropped six goals on their first meeting.

I also took the FIBA special on Serbia yesterday and they only extended my losing streak to five. I need Ronaldo to clutch it up later today and show signs of life to my bankroll.  Tongue
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friendly wagers in Bitcointalk on: September 11, 2023, 02:06:46 AM
The closest thing i've experienced to a friendly wager was the prediction pools that well-known users host before the start of the season, and sometimes you'll see a few users engage with friendly bets.

In fact, this would be a very interesting type of bet, perhaps some casino owners don't like the idea, as they prefer bets to be placed on their websites.

However, I believe that for this to work we should have at least a system to control this, from advance deposits (to prevent scammers or profiteers), control of bets placed (see the amount collected), and subsequent distribution to winners after the achievement of results.

I believe it would even be possible to develop a bot to monitor posts here on bitcointalk and automate some processes.

Congratulations on the idea, I support it, but in fact there is no way to do this without automated control and some scrows to give reliability to this system.
The sportsbooks don't want to miss out on potential profits, and they won't like it once they see gamblers bet directly against one another.

If these friendly wagers become a regular thing, it might be worth having a system to avoid having a bad experience, but most of them are a one-and-done bet, and the amount risked isn't a lot compared to what we see in sportsbooks.

Finally I got 2 points, I'm also happy to thank Ukraine and Gauff for making sure I didn't blank this round, now we have one precious question left between ralle14 and me.
The Poland and Albania match sealed the loss for me. Congrats on winning this round and being a step closer to securing that promotion spot.  Wink

Also, this puts me in a bad spot for the promotion race due to the score differential I have against those who are slightly ahead of me in terms of points.
