1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 19, 2023, 12:25:25 PM
Many traders do not even realize they made a mistake and the few that do refuse to acknowledge them, and with that kind of mentality then it is obvious they will not learn from their mistakes and they will keep repeating them, which is a shame as even if it is preferable to never make a mistake while we trade, this is not a realistic option, so the best we can do is to learn from our mistakes and avoid them in the future, but unfortunately something as simple as this is beyond the capabilities of many traders.
Therefore the role of a mentor or teacher is very important here, they will act as someone who will direct and educate every step that will be taken by traders, especially novice traders. I strongly feel the position that any trader who chooses to go it alone with limited knowledge is very prone to making some mistakes. They know they have suffered a loss but most of them do not realize what wrong they have done. They think it's normal and indeed all traders will experience it, but isn't it better if we do research on the various losses that we experience, the goal is clear so that we can better understand the various risks involved. trading and accompanied by a mentor at least we will know things that we should not do. Actually it is very difficult to go through this process if we are not accompanied by a professional because it is very possible for various mistakes to occur when we do it ourselves with limited knowledge.
Having mentor is without a doubt one of the best ways to avoid making mistakes you can find, however there are very few traders out there which enjoy the fortune of having a mentor, and there are many reasons for this, very few traders are profitable on the markets and even fewer can tell you why they are profitable at all, and if that was not enough there are many traders out there which do not want to teach their techniques as it took them years to refine them, so your average trader has no choice but to try to learn how to trade on their own.

You cannot get a mentor unless you can pay them for the time they spent upon teaching you or either there are one of your close relatives that willing to help you learn on how to trade correctly. If you don't have any opportunity to learn from them much better to self study about trading since experience is powerful tool for us to became a high caliber trader. So if we are in learning stage much better if just enjoy the trade flow and for sure in future our efforts will be paid off once we learn the technicalities of trading in crypto market.
1102  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much time for a Duelbits withdrawal? Been 24h+ on: July 19, 2023, 10:49:39 AM
Hello,
I withdrew 20.000 usdt after winning in Baccarat on Duelbits (total deposits 12000). I’ve been waiting for more than 24hours and no payment. I’ve never played there before, so those who play there is this a common issue?

I played on Stake, Rollbit, Gamdom, Bitcasino.io, and never had to wait for more than 8hours for a withdrawal (including KYC or not). Just to know what to expect.

This is already an indicator that there's a problem towards your withdrawal request so best to contact there support to know what is the issue of your request on why it take that long. If there's no problem will be seen then for sure they can release it immediately, but if there's something suspicious found maybe it will take some time before they get finish on possible investigation so best to talk with them to get a clear answer regarding on this delays.
1103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: July 18, 2023, 10:56:06 PM
Lately, there has been some development here in the integration of AI in trading on some stock assets and cryptocurrencies, and to a large instead, AI has ground in acting and executing trades and recording profits, but it has not been for long so as we can't tell what the success rate will be, but for the fact that the reality on the ground has shown and proven their existence in trading stock, so as that which one will you prefer if AI is proven to be effective.
Will you prefer to trade with AI or you prefer to do the trading yourself?

AI doesn't guarantee you anything since it cannot predict the real time event so most provably it will just give you a hint on what possible trade you want to do, but that doesn't mean you can get sure profit as still needed to trade for yourself so try to just make this as another source of information then also do your own deligence upon trading.

Don't hook up with AI thing and rely this technology on your trade search for more information and base your trades on current event also with the chart you are currently trading since technical analysis still the best that those AI.
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Campaigns on: July 18, 2023, 01:46:29 PM
A question about Signature Campaigns

I assume the idea is to put a link to a service or crypto casino in your signature, correct?

When someone starts a signature campaign for an online crypto casino, the goal is to attract people to the casino through the signature, am I reasoning correctly?

Thanks a lot.

Yes because this campaign made to reach more people and redirect them to their casino since this is part of their marketing. Maybe other succeed then make their campaign long but also there are casino fail since this is not all about campaign itself but rather its sustainability, if they can sustain to make their campaign run for a long time for sure their exposure became more higher and tuat can attract a large number groups of people.  But if a casino decide to run a short term campaign then expect that it will just flop since for sure their exposure is for short time then that could attract less people to play on their casino.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 18, 2023, 11:43:38 AM
If we look at the graph, it is clear that Threads cannot compete with the popularity of Twitter, which has been online for a long time. And Mark should have realized that before he set out to create Threads. And it should be again, Mark did not steal ideas from other people but developed something else, like when he developed Facebook for the first time when there was no social media like Facebook that could offer a variety of features.

Mark's popularity seems to decline if he cannot have creative ideas to compete with Elon or other people. Everything has to be updated to get people's attention so they want to use the platform he just created.

Threads was doomed to fail from the start. The reason is that it was not offering anything better than Twitter. Zuckerberg was just hoping to attract people who were not happy with the ownership change and censorship rules in Twitter. And in the end, it turned out that only a small fraction of Twitter users were open to Threads. And although Threads managed to enroll hundreds of millions of new users, the quality was missing. Most of these users were existing Instagram customers who just wanted to try out the new feature. And very soon they lost their interest in Threads.

This is just good when new since it hype many people but after few days it doesn't get much attention as social media user go back to the platform where they always use. And if Zuckerberg will not do anything about this decline maybe we can see this fail then the last laugh will still be on Musk side. Lets still see what will happen to this since threads is still nee do maybe there are still improvement will happen.
1106  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in is no longer a KYC free casino! (New terms) on: July 18, 2023, 10:20:36 AM
Nothing surprising. More and more crypto gambling sites are enforcing KYC under certain conditions with time due to regulatory pressure which is perfectly understandable, but mandatory KYC isn't understandable at all.

Sad to see Freebitco go this route by adapting in this manner in order to survive.

If they didn't adopt then maybe they might suffer some problems on their operation so good thing they comply since we will see them how serious they are for maintaining their casino. Also we shouldn't get worried about it since for the longest time of operation they already gather good reputation so I guess this KYC implementation will not be a provably to majority of their gamblers.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why local currencies when there is bitcoin ? on: July 17, 2023, 11:13:47 PM
I don't know what it is in other countries but in France there are local currencies, about 80.

Quote
Although it is difficult to determine an exact number, it is estimated that there are about 80 on French territory. Through a social, environmental, local or even regional objective, their interest is to convey the values that conventional currencies no longer embody today, and this movement is arousing growing enthusiasm if we are to believe a report by the Sol Movement , which oversees local currencies at the national level, published in early 2021. ID offers you a non-exhaustive list of local currencies in circulation by region, as well as an evolving map.

A friend was bragging to me about the merits of her local currency, but I wonder what's the point since we have bitcoin? Bitcoin which obviously includes the world population. I did not really understand the objectives of these local currencies, I was wondering if local currencies existed in other countries and if people understood the interest of these local currencies which seem to undergo inflation like the fiats.

So I assume you mean fiat then local currencies is more useful since they are well accepted in anywhere you go on your locality compare with bitcoins. I get your point about bitcoin but reality bitcoin is not well oiled up so we cannot use it anywhere for now and most of the time we can only transact this via online transaction and to person who use it. Not everyone use bitcoin so there's limited usage of it that's why many choose to use their local currency since this is more convenient to them.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 17, 2023, 02:50:24 PM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!

Meme coin is always risky for the fact that to many of those created token are just for scam so you need to be careful on your investment and don't expect to much since that's what scam devs like since they want you to hold while them are dumping.

If we talk about effect well nothing really since the market of meme coin is not so huge and even though the hype is growing then maybe scamming is happening still it cannot   affect the market as a whole.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 17, 2023, 11:57:56 AM
Recently research was held by Dr Reece Bush-Evans who told that online gambling could Hide the sexuality of the LGBTQ+ people and most of these people prefer online gambling as compared to physical gambling for obvious reasons.

The more important concern for the LGBTQ+ people is that they are being treated differently in a casino which may come under harassment. Also, the study says that people at the casino, the staff plus the public have shown discriminatory behavior towards these people.

New Research Explores Effect of Gambling on LGBTQ+ People

I'm bit confuse if there's really criticism regarding in sexuality on gambling since anyone can able to play there as long as you have money to spend. Maybe that research only happen on one particular country or place but I really believe that's not the case on other since money is one important tool to gain respect. If LGBTQ+ people have a lot of money provably he will het a VIP treatment. But if a boy, girl or any sexuality doesn't have money and they go to casino for sure they experience that since they might not welcome to come on that places.
1110  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 17, 2023, 09:40:14 AM
Anyways if you had held the RLB for another year, you might have got them sold at a good price. Bitcoin bull run and Altcoins season will make every coin pump again.
Well, it's not bullrun yet but the price of RLB is pumping. Currently the value is $0.1, it's increasing so fast months after Rollbit implement the buy and sell feature on their site. It seems like many investors are buying RLB that's why the price is climbing up.

Investors who got or bought their RLB at a lower price are certainly in profit now. But always be careful not to be greedy so you can think of what's beneficial for you to gain more.

Many see how the team build some good updates to help their RLB token so most provably that we can see some great price changes to come especially when bull market happens since even by now we can see that price of RLB is doing great despite of current market condition. For old accumulator good to see that they are in profit but for those who want to enter they should monitor the best position and never enter in FOMO situation.
1111  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 15, 2023, 03:10:16 PM
Food is an essential substance in our life. This is the only thing that will be needed till the day we die. Food supply plays a great role in the economy. High food prices will always lead to an unstable economy. Food consumption is the largest part that impacts the economy. Does not matter if you are poor or rich, to survive, you will need food. By consuming food, the whole nation takes a part in the economic growth. Also if your country is making more than enough food for the whole nation, it can export those extra food to other countries in order to grow the economy.

Farming own food is the key to the fight against inflation. As it is an essential substance, if we make our own, we won't have to spend more to buy them. Covid has taught us that very clearly. Help yourself and in that process, you will help others. Great work OP. As this is your small start hopefully, you will be able to grow it much bigger in the future. Best of luck to you.
Food is the important part of our life, even though the contribution of the Agriculture in the GDP of most of the country is only 40-50 percentage. We can survive without the food and if the food scarcity comes, the entire economy will be collapsed. The sixty percentage of economy May leads to spend for the food scarcity. The Covid had teach us many things, the most important one is need to hold some savings for the future. Many low middle class people had suffered for the food in Covid to survive is hidden truth.

This is Why Agriculture Matters. If you look at it, the threat of a food recession is not only happening in the developed countries of the world, but also in developing countries and the agricultural sector is one of the solutions. Yes. what is needed here is to take advantage of unused land, if any, to plant several types of plants that have economic value because they become an additional source of livelihood, supply food, contribute greatly to state revenues and so on.

For wheel develop country this agricultural aspect will be their main problem since they don't have enough lands to plant and sustain the needs of their constituents that's why when recession came or food shortages they will be the one get affected to much on it. Those agricultural countries should not follow what western or other nation did where they didn't prioritize their Agriculture since they will be save by this especially if they maximize their resources and generate more yield and they will be safe for any upcoming food shortages that might come to other countries.
1112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I avoid and identify scams? on: July 15, 2023, 11:51:34 AM
We know that scam coins are everywhere, mainly advertised on social media, I spent time trying to know the exact way to fish out scam coins but to no avail, despite how inquisitive we could be to generate more funds for ourselves through Cryptocurrency investments and to try new things, we should also be much aware of the scam coins and their possible pernicious damage.

I agree that there are a lot of choices to make regarding cryptocurrency but early dictation of this proposed scam needs to be checked.

Am not much familiar with cryptocurrency, and that's why I need more guidance so that if eventual I see one, I will know how to handle it, this will help me to have a good knowledge on the path to settle for.

You already have good pointers coming from people posting your thread created so much better to read up those suggestion since you can get an idea about those possible scam tokens.

But you can also easily spot if they are obvious scam and that is where those tokens use similar name of successful /hype coins or tokens in the market and if you read their site there's no context or clear path on where they are heading so consider to read all the informations available so thag you can avoid scams.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 15, 2023, 10:27:47 AM
I think the biggest sign that you aren’t addicted to gambling is if you can stop and feel no ill effects. For example, we’re all addicted to our phones. Leave the house without yours and you feel naked and incomplete. If going a week without gambling leaves you feeling similar, like you’re missing something you need, then maybe you might be addicted.

The phone addiction you mentioned is right, if you go out without your phone there is a kind of boredom that you will feel because we are so compactible and accustomed with our phone but we can't even help that or can we ?  Grin Maybe for online addicts, phone addiction could be termed as positive addiction. Yes if you miss to gamble for sometime probably because you are busy in another schedule and you don't regret not gambling it means you are walking away from addiction. In fact, for an addict no other schedule come first if not gambling and betting the day's game.

It is still addiction if you can't leave your phone at home, no matter if it is positive or negative, but again, it is best if it is positive as it brings us something about it like a good effect, unlike negative addictions like gambling, where you can't do other things now as you want to gamble as well as lose tons of money. But again, if you can survive not playing gambling for a month even if you are bored, then for sure you are not addicted because mostly when boredom strikes, we gamble like we use our phone if we are bored and keep scrolling on it.

Well I understand the point @xSkylarx, about the phone but in trying to compare the gambling addiction to mere going out with phone or pressing it will not be looked as the same. That of gambling is about playing with your money that means your finance is going off from you but for phone, I don't think you are losing any finance. Moreso for phone, people can be addicted to it because they are perhaps working online with it and that could be the major reason to be addicted with phone which also includes using it to bet online  Grin

That can't be called addicted if you use it for work or other productive choirs but if you use it just for browsing any nonsense online and you didn't do any useful things on whole day long then this can be considered as addicted traits. But in gambling if you are fine and can last a day or two without participating any gambling activity then you are fine and doing right. Compare on those people who's been addicted already for sure first thing to come up on their mind is to gamble and they cannot pass any day or minute because they always want to gamble. This is bad since we know what addiction could bring to a person and this need immediate help to avoid getting into bad conditions.
1114  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: July 14, 2023, 11:51:09 PM

As i was going through the El-Savador's bitcoin adoption as a legal tender today and in checking various comments, informations and replies that people have made over time, i could see that there's nothing showing interest on bitcoin adoption going on a low priority in El-Savador than the continuous adoption and development backing it up already, i also join in the conversation and give some reply on the discussion to come over here and remind us about nothing is recorded as a failure yet, El-Savador is going well with its economic activities without having any form of set back from it decision on bitcoin adoption and as a legal tender.
There are positive moments, but they do not really concern the population of El Salvador, so far Bukele is aimed at attracting investment to the country and this is good, because this will enable the country's economy to grow. Little has really changed for the population, although if we talk about a decrease in the level of crime, then this is a significant change for El Salvador, perhaps the connection with bitcoin is indirect, but at least so.
We might still think that Bitcoin adoption had failed in El Salvador but we just have to wait for sometime for us to think the adoption of Bitcoin there is finally useless. El Salvador is the first country to accept Bitcoin followed other countries that are creating laws to guide Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. The country had shown a good interest in Bitcoin that had made other countries to take the same process but this might take sometimes for this to happen and call for more countries to follow the footsteps even though Bitcoin is going to be acceptable and regulated.

If they continue to use it then maybe we cannot it fail. Maybe some call it as a fail since maybe they lose some money due to fluctuation. But for the fact that it successfully penetrate on financial system in that country well we can still call it as success and the only thing they can do is to enhance then also find more better ways to educate people so that they would know the risk and can do something when the bearish time came in. This is long process but for sure El Salvador could surpass any challenge brought up by market controversies.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 10:05:20 PM
It is really interesting to know that there are people giving their side of thoughts in order to give gamblers advice when they are having difficulty to prevent themselves from gambling.  Though I would say it always ends up on the personal discipline and self control, these few advises can make people thinks another means or reason for them to stop gambling and if they failed to, the latter advise of keeping oneself loses to minimum is also a good alternative option.
It is only a gambler can give those advises to another gambler, if not he can only gave general advise and not deep ones as these. Those advises the op gave are also helpful if the gambler really ready to gave up gambling in his life time. And also the preventing measures of the op about gambling is also good ones. Yes  I will go with BitDane statement that "self discipline" is one of the major thing addicted gamblers should do to stop gambling.
This kind of advises will all end to the self discipline, so if a gambler have this one then this advise can be a big help but to those gamblers who are still struggling on how to handle their emotion and addiction in gambling, this will not be an easy advise. If you can’t quit gambling yet, just try to be more responsible first and slowly make yourself busy with other things, this can help you not to lose everything in just one day.

Not easy if there's no someone beside them will sacrifice to spend some time to advice and provide them quality interaction like make those people affected so much on gambling attention a proper realization that to much of what they currently doing is destructive for them. If the affected person is also cooperative for sure they can get away with these addiction thing so its good to have something like what OP written since they could slowly follow that and practice to discipline their selves upon gambling.
1116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 14, 2023, 01:05:43 PM
There is no reason to trade on these dex though, you are going to end up paying extra on all those fees. Deposit to Rollbit directly using the lowest fee deposit option then purchase RLB onsite. Most RLB trading volume is also onsite plus you could always store those RLB in Rollbit or pretty much put them in the liquidity pool if you have enough of it
What will happen with $RLB price if it will be listed on Tier 1 exchanges like Binance, Kraken, OKX, Coinbase?

I don't know that Tier 1 exchanges have their rules against tokens initiated by online gambling sites and I believe that Rollbit does not have issue to list the token on big exchanges. It is my hope for future like two more years as the team must build up good usability for the token before spending listing cost that is not cheap. They must do it with good benefit from listing effects which would be bigger than the listing cost they have to pay.

Expect that a huge hype will build up then provably many will accumulate knowing that this is been newly listed on top exchange. But we don't know if they continue to get a strong movements since normally investor will secure their profit if they had enough earnings so maybe we can see at that time if the price would stay strong or the hype drop together with its price. But since good developments are always happening so maybe we can expect good about it on possible top exchange listing.
1117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which will be best non-KYC exchanger after Ku-coin? on: July 14, 2023, 10:50:02 AM
Which DEX would you recommend? Usually DEX have a very poor liquidity and only work on one blockchain. It means you need to use bridges in order to convert the cryptos you want to exchange in wrapped tokens onto the blockchain supported, if they exist. That's usually not easy and smooth at all and you have to pay premium for that.
Using cryptocurrency bridges is risky and bridges are targets of hackers. Many big hacks on cryptocurrency bridges and the latest hack on a famous bridge tool Multichain is a hottest.

Paying very expensive fee for your bridged transactions and face with risk from bridges as well as the token on a side chain will be less secured than on its main chain. If you want to have BNB, buy it on Binance Smart Chain, don't buy it on Avalanche, Harmony, Arbitrum if BNB exists on those side chains.

Ronin bridge hack
Multichain hack and its consequences
Crypto bridge hacks
Blockchains Have a ‘Bridge’ Problem, and Hackers Know It

Some think that Dex is really safe while there are series of events that those platforms are also been affected with hacking so for that incident I will never trust anything especially if leave your wallet connected even if you are aways or give permissions since we are still prone with hacking for that reasons. Much better to ride with the flow and select reputable exchange since we can't avoid those Kyc requirements there's a huge chance that this became a requirement to all exchange in future especially when government regulation will fully implemented on cryptocurrency platforms.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 13, 2023, 11:03:15 PM
I know this is a joke. Elon can't fight Mark anyway. Because Mark has a really fit body and does sports regularly. On the other hand, Musk does not have a good body. Also, I've seen him smoke pot before on a radio show. Elon is more witty and smarter. But he doesn't stand a chance against Mark. I think he knows that too. That's why he's only bringing this up as a joke. I don't think they will ever fight. But this issue will probably continue to be on the agenda for a while in the world of magazines.
I'm not sure what Mark perceives the fight to be. Does he really mean it, or is it just a temporary goal to get in shape? Because I don't get why he has to train with Israel, a Nigeria-born UFC fighter.

I'm wondering because I haven't heard anything about Elon Musk working out recently in preparation for Mark's fight.

Let this cruise, in which the two parties have only recently begun that they are going to fight one another, come to an end so that we can stop expecting the unthinkable.

He practice maybe just to be fit and ready when their fight with Elon is going to happen. Also this is the best thing he can do since it means that he's pretty much serious when there's a challenge.

But I doub't Musk is serious about this since we don't see him doing some preparation on this match so provably he will not engage on any activity and just doing a psycho war to Zuckerberg. We can only speculate for now but if their fight will happen provably this is provably big and can attract huge media attention.
1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I waste bitcoin on: July 13, 2023, 10:05:41 PM
Early 2011 most friends of mine are into cryptosystem and I barely know what it is about, I only hear the name bitcoin and one day a friend of mine said, I should provide N100k to buy bitcoin and I was like what if my money lost and he gave me assurance; no lost as long your wallet is intact and after much pressure I gave him the money, open a wallet for me and hand over everything but I was care free not minding that's a great investment then, one day I lost my device and that's how I lost the seed phase and the wallet. Am imagining if I could have recover my wallet today, I will be a big boy with fat wallet. Do you think another person have access to it?

This is part of learning process and it can be corrected by now since we learn a lot from the experiences we encounter from the pass and make sure that you grow a lot from those incident. Who knows? Maybe the guy you trusted with still have your keys so maybe try to check on blockchain explorer if your balance still in your wallet since when you check it and balance is gone then you already know who is the possible person who take it. Try to remember if you also save your keys on other area like offline since its really a big waste if your balance has totally gone and you can't recover your funds.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2023, 12:20:12 PM
I guess he was really given the green signal to shoot that time. But with Dallas, they want a true center which Wood didn't provide and that's why he was released and teams are not keen on his talents anymore, I reckon.

He isn't a real threat as a center despite his size, which can be seen as a liability. However, he can contribute significantly in terms of scoring. Looking at his stats from last season, he averaged 16.6 points per game (PPG), which is already a good contribution. Therefore, I believe he would fit well with a team that prioritizes offense over defense and values ball movement.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/woodch01.html

But if Lakers or the Warriors are the team that are looking for a good center, then they are loaded with scorers already, which make Christian Wood a liability to them. And again, he is a good scoring threat, but it seems they are looking for a center that is in the mold of let's say Ayton or even Joel Embiid.

So as much as his stats is that good, he might not be a perfect fit for a offensive team, in my opinion.

You know, the Warriors are indeed a strong team, and they have a good track record of developing players. In contrast, the Lakers already have Anthony Davis and they don't prioritize ball movement as much as the Warriors do. Personally, I believe the Warriors would be more likely to sign Wood. However, I could be mistaken, so if the Lakers were to pursue him, it could be a good move for them, providing a solid backup for Davis as the latter is an injury prone big already.

Time is ticking up for Warriors and if they didn't take Wood most provably he goes on another team which they can use him as back up center like lakers. Warriors should add this guy in the rooster since they really need a big man to help them up if they are out rebounded by big teams.

We already see it on Lakers series where they are been dominated on rebounding so maybe they can put some guy to possible solve the issue depends on the game flow. They can still use the small ball line up but as stated its good to have another alternative if their small ball line up will not work.
