1101  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Block Erupter on: July 14, 2013, 06:47:08 PM
1102  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASIC 8Gh/s New Firmware v1.2.5 Butterfly Labs Jalapeno (In Hand) on: July 14, 2013, 06:34:50 PM
What the fuck?
Thats way more expensive than at BLF itself, and firmware is there to be updates, not to pay another 800$...

I guess you have a 8 core AMD, but if that is your speed you are almost constandly getting, it is pretty low, my Phenom ii x4 965 @4.2Ghz get ~4200
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MINE PRIMECOIN? on: July 14, 2013, 02:12:51 PM
Total primespersec is 2500 how much I get with current difficulty?

Mining is like a lottery, you don't know, but the higher the speed, the higher the chance of you winning that block Wink
1105  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Building High-End Gaming System - does it make sense to mine on it while idle? on: July 14, 2013, 11:24:23 AM
Maybe some 7850s? http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_value.html

They are currently one of the best Price/Performance ratios, and should be pretty good for gaming. They'll also be great for mining. Can expect ~360MH/s (SHA256) or ~360KH/s (Scrypt). I plan on buying some of these when I upgrade from my 6850s. And yes, mine with your PC when not using it. I leave my gaming PC on 24/7. When I'm sleeping or working, they are mining.

EDIT: Maybe some 7950s if you really need the extra performance.
Make that 400~ Mh/s or 400~ Kh/s Smiley

I have 2 Asus ones. That is the only thing, buy goddamn Asus ones, they clock much higher and the DCII cooler is a beast, 45% Fan and 55-60 degrees @1165 core, 1500 mem, and the best thing is that they are undervolted (-0.1 volt) at those golden clocks, I can reach 1300 mhz core and 1550 mem on one cards with a 0.1 overvolt, but don't want to stress the cards too much, at those clocks they reach 450Mh/s/450Kh/s.

Edit: Gaming is no problem, 130+ Fps in CFX, 65 Fps single on Battlefield 3 Ultra +AA+AF @1080p
The crossfire setup chews Metro LL At 50-60 FPS ULTRA! (Which would normally take you a 690 or higher). This is in an overclocked state Smiley
1106  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN Group buy] 1000 pcs USB Erupters - EU/Int - price 0.89BTC - 54 to go on: July 12, 2013, 10:50:02 PM
Hello Sir,
Could I ask you to reserve 1 unit for me? Tomorrow I can reach my wallets as I am on holiday now.
I would highly apreciate it Smiley
Also, how much will the 3th shipping option be in BTC? (The ensured)

Do you also test these units or isn't that nessesairy?
1107  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN Group buy] 1000 pcs USB Erupters - EU/Int - price 0.89BTC - 85 to go on: July 12, 2013, 08:37:07 PM
Cmon people look alive, lets get this thing going, replace your "outdated" gpus, with this price its a win win situation. Get rid of the heat and high power bills. For a comparison:

AMD 7850 - 330 MHs, 110w, costs 100 eur from ebay (used), uses ~ 960kW per year
USB Erupter - 330 MHs, 2.5W, costs 50 eur (brand new), uses ~ 22kW per year

At the average cost of 10 cents/kW it is a difference of 94 euro (120 USD) per year only in electricity, so however you are calculating it, the erupter wins
I'm interested in this, I MAY buy one to try. Btw, I have 2 HD7850's and they are both pullin 390mh/s, but thats okay, I has 2 golden clockers.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Critical Update] Feathercoin 0.6.4 - Hard Fork at block 33,000 on: May 15, 2013, 06:10:37 PM
Finnaly SOME hope for this otherwise dying coin.

1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Please Donate to help Get BITBAR on BTC-E on: May 14, 2013, 02:19:31 PM
Title should be changed
[ANN] Please donate to bribe btc-e to accept a new coin

Indeed, why would one give money to get a coin on an exchange?
I mean, if the exchange doesnt want that coin, you can trow as many in as you want, but no BTB on BTC-e my friend...

1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elacoin | Released | Fair Elastic Scrypt Mining | No Premine on: May 14, 2013, 02:03:10 PM
How the fuck does one even compile?

It is sad that 99/100 people can't mine a coin becouse of a fucking non-compiled QT.
Goodbye even before I trew 0.1 kh/s in this shitpile of clusterfucks.

I am sorry for swearing, I am quite sad these days.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every Altcoin is worth less to mine then bitcoin! on: May 11, 2013, 08:46:54 PM
This is to be expected.
With the help of sites like dustcoin or coinchoose, it's very easy to calculate which coin that gives the most profitability.

People mine that coin and then instadump it on the market to get btc.

And there's that Vircurex hacking incident.
The attacker gains root access, and gets vircurex's hot wallet.
I think 30-60% of that stolen alt coin is dumped right now at BTC-E.
Yep, and thats why I don't like putting my coins on the interwebz.

But I mean, the last few months, many things have gone downhill instead of uphill (in my opinion) with all those scammers/YAC problems/hackers/drying out new coins and so on.
Like 2/3 pools I have mined have gone either offline/stole coins from miners/went south/site down for no reason/no payments.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin transaction stuck at 0 confirmations for the last 35 minutes? on: May 11, 2013, 08:18:52 PM
how many blocks to go until difficulty?
Well: 21 day(s), 11 hour(s), 56 min, 7 sec (quoted of the official website)
I wonder if it will ever make it to that date or just tottaly dry out.

Then we should wait a few months, so that the diff has lowered to an super-low diff and then mine the shit out of it again = hopefully profit. (Like BQC did, atleast i think it was that coin)

The plain fact is, no single coin is more profitable to mine than Bitcoin, which was differend a few days ago, and a wee ago, Featercoin was 350% more profitable than Bitcoin, but then diff jumped absurdly high and thus in essence digging its own grave I guess.

So that IS a lesson made, make the goddamn readjustments faster, like 2 weeks maximum.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin transaction stuck at 0 confirmations for the last 35 minutes? on: May 11, 2013, 08:13:54 PM
It's good that some alts are dying now.

+1

Glad I sold off my feathers!

Now if only CNC can spike up so I can dump them off too Ill be a happy camper!
Hehe if only that shitty crap ass pool I was mining on did not have a minimal 20FTC payout option I at least had some stuff in reward (although it probably would be a loss at the end of the line)
Now I am stuck with 25 coins and do not know what to do with them.

Trowing in my small 1 mh/s wont be the day saver I guess.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every Altcoin is worth less to mine then bitcoin! on: May 11, 2013, 08:09:15 PM
except for Yacoin...

You can actually mine yacoin in parallel with a scrypt coin on same computer Smiley
I've always wondered how one does that.
Is it like you can mine 2 coins and you can get the same amount of coins like you would of had when mining the coin seperatly?
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every Altcoin is worth less to mine then bitcoin! on: May 11, 2013, 08:06:35 PM
Hmm, this has to be like the first ever time that happened.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ripple is Superior to Bitcoin... on: May 10, 2013, 09:02:52 PM
Gtfo with ripple, its so stupid and then claiming it is superior while 80% IS FOR THE GODDAMN DEVS = THEM GETTING FREE MONEY = SCAM.

Nuff said.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: feathercoin pool(100M+) on: May 10, 2013, 10:21:55 AM
Pool seems dead?!
1.9 Mh/s and statt screen not working?

I'll trow in my 1 mh/s and see what happens, the round is 13 hours now..

EDIT: YEP, Peeps warning, pool is DEAD and some pages are NOT working!!!
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FTC dead?? on: May 10, 2013, 10:20:25 AM
so a coin die, when reach value 0?

Coins die when they stop being traded
Which will happen shortly.
But I am STUCK with 20 coin's on a pool becouse of the confirms and minimal payout so I hope i'll get 0.03 BTC for them...
