Happy New Year!
1-1-2015 predictions?
My guess is...... ummm..... 49272 USD @ midnight pacific
feel bullish this year eh, I'm feeling 3000.00 usd .. I peg'd breaking 1000.00 usd at june 8th 2014 so were already ahead of my first prediction. I'm just going with somewhat the same growth percentage as what we had this year. I know this has no "TA Value" but it seems possible!

I had a feeling Loaded might go to China with bags of money only to find a few traders and a lot of fake trading.
China is keeping the price high while whales cash out and/or negotiate with people like Loaded.

Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin.... all that is needed.
These non- competitors will succeed.

Bitfinex has $9m on loan, which is 12.5K BTC @ $700. 12.5K BTC takes us down to $550 on gox.
Is that total for shorts? Thats the $ people have borrowed to buy BTC. At some point they will need to sell the BTC to pay back the $. You can "Claim" the BTC once you have gained enough to pay off the loan. No BTC is sold in this case. That's incorrect. When you exit a long postition on bitfinex, BTC are sold (directly on bfx or via bitstamp). So what does this mean on their page?

Now we know the reason for this mad rally from stamp. All will close their trade at some point. But look at stamp depth..a joke really. --------------------------- BFX Volume 24Hrs 36649.36 BTC (18324.68 BTC [50.0%] of which traded on Bitstamp) ---------------------------- About 24 hours ago it was 7 million on loan

Does someone have a bet that Stamp won't cross 700??
Fail to cross it every time.

Who is still in the green at these prices? And who made a huge loss?
I lost 15BTC (that I bought for $25 each) margin trading on bitfinex.

This is why I tell people bitcoin will succeed. Any amount can be moved around the world in minutes. While I'm on the phone for hours with "personal bankers" who are supposed to be there for you 24/7, and still can't get a wire into any exchange in a timely fashion. This is my money, and my clients money, we should be able to move it wherever we want. We're talking 10s of millions, not some small transfer where they'll screw around with you for calling late at night.
ughhh who are you again? Not sure if serious

Yay my margin was called on my last remaining bitcoins. FML where is my gun.

China may have lead the rally, but I bet the majority of us live in a country that isn't acting like China at the moment. So why is everyone selling? Are the coins suddenly worth less? What is your country like and what are you doing with your coins as "speculants"?
Or is everyone smart enough to where we all sell on any news and try to catch the bottom?

This is a "return to normal" phase pushed by bulls who are trying to reclaim losses incurred from buying at the top last month. I'm guessing buy support will break before we can push to another ATH.
