1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where/Who are the best traders? on: May 13, 2019, 11:41:45 AM
Best traders know what to trade and when to trade wither buying or selling, sometime both needs to be done to make more profits. In crypto currency who are making profits even in the bearish market can be called as best traders but no one is perfect because we are not the only one deciding what is going on at the market.
I agree the best traders are those who could pull up some profit even if the market is falling ,
We couldn't know who is the best trader because we have so many great traders not just in crypto but also in other stuff in real world.
1102  Economy / Gambling / Re: e͏t͏h͏e͏r͏c͏r͏a͏s͏h.ισ | 0.75% average house edge | ETH & BTC Accepted 🏅 on: May 13, 2019, 08:22:36 AM
Congratulations to Guacho for winning over 129.6 ETH in one bet!

Wow a great catch on a high multiplier.
So good to see that there are still some people who are chasing a high multiplier in a crash game.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOES IEO PROTECT BOUNTY HUNTERS ? on: May 13, 2019, 06:21:00 AM
It is much more safer but I don't really think that it would protect the bounty hunters.
And to be honest the bounty rewards nowadays doesn't really pays good you would only get a low value of Fiat when you convert your bounty reward so for me bounty isn't profitable anymore.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IOTA has the potential to dethrone Bitcoin? And why? on: May 13, 2019, 05:45:43 AM
No I don't think that it would ever replace Bitcoin.
Quote
Possibly due to the IOTA devs sharing similar concerns, IOTA's software currently relies on centralized checkpointing
IOTA relies on centralized checkpoint while on the other hand BTC is decentralized.
We are her because we want freedom and decentralized currency why would we turn a centralized crypto to be the next King?
If this would be the crypto to replace BTC then might as well go back to the banks.
1105  Economy / Gambling / Re: [DOTA 2 - BETTING PREDICTION] [FREE] [W: 12] [L: 4] on: May 13, 2019, 05:29:51 AM
Well this could help me choose where to bet I used to play DOTA and that is where I started to be addicted to computer games.
And right now I just started playing Dota 2 again and I am not really familiar to the teams on Dota 2.

You can check it out here: https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Main_Page
Nice , Thanks this would be really helpful for me.
I would watch this team and try to apply what they are doing on my own play.
1106  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Old Android Phone as Wallet on: May 13, 2019, 04:52:01 AM
Why not use a hardware wallet instead of your old phone?
It is much more safer compare to your phone and it is hard to trust any mobile wallet this days.
But if you still want to continue then I think I only trust MEW just download your JSON file,
I use a flahsdrive to keep it safe but you could also use your phone .
1107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you think so please stop! on: May 12, 2019, 11:57:22 PM
I have seen some recent posts after this somewhat "unexpected" Bitcoin pump that people are greedy and hence should cash out! Really!!? I don't know why people are saying so but we have endured the longest bear market ever (I suggest Theymos should give all of us a tag  Grin for that achievement  Grin), with insults from people that we're greedy, charlatans, etc. And funny enough! there are people amongst us who have seen thousands, hundreds, of Dollars drain down to "coins" and now that we are about to smile some are saying we're greedy and should cash out! I don't know why they are saying that but for those who have been in the game fr a long time know we are no where near where we've been before. Please if you want to cash out, fine you can but don't call HODLers greedy! In fact, we deserve a citation rather lol...
HODLers aren't greedy it is their way to gain their profit ,
We have different tactics on gaining profit so if call HODLer's greedy then you should also call the short term traders greedy.
Just because holders are gaining now that doesn't make them greedy we don't know their story they might jave lose more than what they are gaining now.
1108  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why do some people hate Bitcoin and crypto and want it to fail? on: May 12, 2019, 11:18:13 PM
Most people you encounter are sheep and are against any and all change to their thinking and way of life, unwilling to accept anything that goes against the norm or is different.
it's quite unfortunate mate, I totally agree with you, people like this are the reason why most get discouraged to get into crypto, but I believe this won't last forever, soon enough, they all have their fingers to bite
And there are already some of those people who hates crypto in the past but are now using it.
I am sure in the future they would also change their mind and try to use crypto.
And I think those who hates it doesn't even try it out or if they did they just provably been scam .
1109  Other / Serious discussion / Re: It should be once bitten twice shy (but greed and emotions blinds people) on: May 12, 2019, 10:52:06 PM

How you prevent falling a victim

It is easy to say than to be done ,
Quote
1. Learn from other people mistake and also from yours

People would know what did they do wrong or what other people have done wrong but there are times that we would just ignore it and do what we want even if it's wrong.
Quote
3. Seek to be extensively sure you dealing with the authentic person especially on social media
It is so easy to create a fake account on social media and make it look legit .
There are many ways if a scammer is good at it's work you couldn't dodge it.
Quote

4. Be quick to make a report when you notice any discrepancies
5. Avoid greed and emotional sentiments
Make a report?
Who where would you make a report police would just ignore this since most of the time they are unaware of it.
And avoid being greedy and emotional sentiments this is a hard thing to do specially for others greed is part of us ,
We couldn't deny it but all of us are greedy at something.
1110  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I've just received this scam email. on: May 12, 2019, 10:33:23 PM
Extortion at its peak, it's disappointing to see how desperate some people are to take what's not theirs, anyways to be on a safer side now is the time you protect your information better
Yes we should always protect our personal information .
This kind of extortion would work for those who have recorded this kind of act .
For sure those people would pay even if the scammers didn't have the real video.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Platform Better? on: May 12, 2019, 10:12:04 PM
Base on this ranking most of the top list are tron.
But on this list it is showing  that most of the site are from EOS.
And for me the best DAPPS Platform is EOS.
1112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Little dip in bitcoin market, will it be recovered reach 10k on: May 12, 2019, 09:47:08 PM
Most of us are expecting it to reach $10k this year,
But we don't really know when would it reach it but I think it is really possible to reach it before this year ends.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question about moon3d.io on: May 12, 2019, 09:25:33 PM
Do you have the code that's used to convert a hash into a game result? From that it should be pretty easy to compute the house edge. I couldn't find it on their website.

They are clearly not a good actor. They have a history of software-piracy, faking stats, not caring about their reputation, etc.

I took a look at their seeding event:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133118.0

and it's done in a way that proves nothing. Hard to say if it's intentional, or incompetence. But considering all they copied bustabit's seeding event and then removed the part gives me pause.  For the seeding event to make sense, you have to commit to a hash chain and how to interpret the hash chain. Or it's all for nothing.

--

So I guess, why even bother with them? There's like a dozen legitimate bitcoin casinos that run a fair business well, why screw around on the one that's nothing-but-red-flags.
Then this site should not be trusted they already faced so many negative issue so it is enough reason to stay out on their site,
Beside there are so many trusted sites that you could play don't even bother spending money or your time to those untrusted site like this.
1114  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BETA Launch & Free Event] ⭐️ Crashdice.com - 0.5% House Edge, Play or Invest ⭐️ on: May 12, 2019, 08:56:20 PM
Beta launch event is now live !

Rules are simple :

We decided to organize an event with a real prize pool while we are still in beta, that way, you can try our game for free and win real Ethereum if you win the launch event!
We will reward the top 5 players with highest net profit at end of the beta period:

#1 : 1 ETH
#2 : 0.5 ETH
#3 : 0.1 ETH
#4 : 0.1 ETH
#5 : 0.1 ETH

Important note:

Each user may only create one account during the beta period to be legible for the launch event reward. Multi-accounts will lead to automatic forfeiture of launch event participation, and no rewards of any kind will be given.
This is a nice promotion we could win without even putting money on it.
This is the best way to try the site and also our skills in gambling may the best gambler wins.
1115  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 BUSTADICE SCRIPT | $100+/H POTENTIAL | VIDEO PROOF on: May 12, 2019, 08:44:14 PM
people just need to understand that in every script there is a chance to loose but if u becareful and withdraw every 20$ - 50$ profit u make then u have bigger chances of not loosing everything.

but yes u are correct.
At least you already mention about the risk not like others who would lie about their script with a guarantee that they would win.
And there is already a video proof about your script it would be really nice if you could get a vouch from one of the oldest or trusted forum members.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: decisions of traders and investors on: May 12, 2019, 10:41:45 AM
Everyone has their opinion ,
But for me I would stay at Binance I would still use their site because I am sure that this issue would wake them up and make sure that they would upgrade their security system.
They would surely secure their site and prevent this from happening again in the future ,
So for me it is safe to assume that our funds are still safe in their site but we should always keep in mind that we should also be the one to secure and keep our money.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: May 12, 2019, 10:20:14 AM
For me a crypto could be considered as a shitcoin when it is worthless or doesn't have a value,
I also consider the alt-coin that continues to drop down as a shitcoin most of the time when this happen the coin/crypto would be dead without an order on the market.
1118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Just a Shady ‘Ponzi Scheme,’ Rants Goldbug Peter Schiff on: May 12, 2019, 09:39:22 AM
As you mentioned it had a huge effect in the past but look at the market right now ,
This kind of FUD doesn't affect the crypto investors anymore we have been immune to this kind of words,
If you have been in crypto for a long time then this kind of rant's wouldn't be new to you and you would just get over it easily and wouldn't mind it at all.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone learn from Warren Buffett? on: May 12, 2019, 08:57:57 AM
I loss a lot of money following his value investing, but once I get into bitcoin, I'm quickly to make a lot of money
Um yeah...I don't know when you made that money in bitcoin, but my guess is that you were momentum trading, which is something Warren Buffett is not into.  What he does takes a lot of research and a lot of patience, which is more than most people in the stock market can manage.  Plus if you've ever read his biography, you'll know that he's absolutely obsessed with finding undervalued companies, to the point that he doesn't have many other interests in life.  He reads annual reports for fun--and he is intelligent and educated enough to grasp everything that he reads about the financials of companies he has on his radar.  In short, he's a statistical outlier.  A stock market prodigy.

One of the reasons why he's so popular with people is that he's not a typical Wall Street guy.  He has a reputation for having a simple life, doesn't enjoy ostentatious displays of wealth, and is generally known as a nice guy.  And he's brilliant, too.

Don't worry about what WB thinks about bitcoin.  I can understand his point of view, but I'm not him.  I don't own a multi-billion dollar investment company with shareholders to be accountable to (Berkshire Hathaway), and I'm comfortable with viewing investment in crypto as a gamble.  WB isn't comfortable with taking risks like that, and that's totally fine.  So while I have great respect for the man, I realize we're on opposite ends of the investment spectrum.  That probably holds true for a lot of us on this forum.

Many of us follow his philosophy, one of my friend actually go ahead bought and read nearly all the books, and he's one crazy fella, because he's willing to go margin trading with 3x leverage, about 500k worth of money the last time  he told me, I wish him all the best, he told me he's going to be millionaire in 6 years, that's by 2020, and yesterday I told him he should learn from his mistake, because he can't make a million dollar from stock market, while my crypto are way faster than his stock market, (of course fast car, fast money, I don't know who hate that, we all come to stock market to make quick money, but we read the nice guy book, and in the end it became an obligation to invest stock market to not to be get rich quick, what's this contradiction?
Of course Stock Market and crypto are not the same stock market is more stable than crypto it is back up by real business,
While on the other hand crypto is just a digital currency that is backed up by the demands of the investor .
And it is much more secure in stock market compare to crypto so we shouldn't really force others to invest in crypto.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 12, 2019, 08:39:29 AM
Let me fixed it for you. Where Manny fanboys pactards at?  Grin. Either way, Pacman never ceases to amazed us, but we know that Thurman will be next in line. First, this is a winnable fight for me if we are going to base in on Keith's previous performance. Second, this is a test for Manny, if he win this one then I will assume that Floyd will be next or there is a possibility that he will face Floyd in the future.

Manny has fought so many fights already. If there's anyone who needs some testing, it's the younger fighter. Floyd fights whenever he wants to fight. He won't be bothered by the result of the Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

As for the fight, Manny still has the speed and power. Experience will be key.

I think we would see another amazing fight from Pacquiao but I think he is already old there are so many young athlete he should just give way to them.
Yeah experience would be his advantage but could his body go against a younger one?
