1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: December 21, 2019, 05:01:14 PM
It’s a well known fact in the crypto market that altcoins typically have their bull market moment after bitcoin has finished its course. With BTC dominance breaking above 60% for the first time in 2 years, it certainly seems like the time is coming for altcoins to enjoy new highs.

It's about time for altcoins to shine!!

You may want to read this blog from kucoin about altseason https://kucoinblog.com/what-is-altseason-and-bitcoin-dominance-btctk
I'm happy to see your confidence, but here we can only see the possibilities, such as altcoin can touch above 60% of course this is good news right? But the problem is not only that. There must also be other factors that cause it all like fantasy. So save your confidence and prepare to see the surprise of what happened
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: December 21, 2019, 04:00:46 PM
There are many great cryptocurrencies on the market with powerful features that enables anyone to be financially free like never before. From privacy-oriented coins, to smart-contract platforms, there's a cryptocurrency for anyone. In this highly-volatile market, even the most prominent cryptocurrencies have suffered a massive decline in price. The top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even Litecoin may be highly undervalued these days. But there could be other good cryptocurrencies with limited supply and constant development that are highly undervalued too because people haven't noticed their true potential.

I'm starting to wonder, which cryptocurrencies on the market are highly undervalued these days? It's no secret that there are hundreds of altcoins on the market, each with their respective features. But not all of them are useful within the mainstream world. If there are other cryptocurrencies that are highly undervalued these, why do you believe them to be as such? Huh
There are some undervalued coins here, surprisingly some of them are large coins. This all must have a reason and we can not completely turn away from coins that are subscribed to our portfolio.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain replace notaries? on: December 21, 2019, 02:43:19 PM
Blockchain technology has been proven to be extremely secure against the tampering of data with the use of encryption techniques and byzantine fault tolerance algorithms. Its most successful implementation has been digital money with Bitcoin's inception back in 2009. Over time, people have found that Blockchain has many capabilities far beyond that of finance. It's now possible to prove the authenticity or ownership of documents, and even sign transactions or digital data via the use of smart contracts. The work that was usually done by a notary, can now be done with the power of Blockchain technology.

Considering the huge potential Blockchain has to transform every industry, it's becoming a concern among many people whenever traditional jobs of today will be replaced by Bitcoin's core technology or not. After all, anyone can "notarize" their documents in a trustless manner in a safe and secure way. This makes me wonder if Blockchain technology will be able to replace notaries someday?

What are your thoughts? Huh
If it will, then this is a supposition if this really happens then there will be a new history here, the consideration is whether all of this has no risk? Of course there is, and we try to have a review if indeed the blockchain will replace the notary public. And if the results of that review are more advantages. Why not?
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: December 21, 2019, 01:36:42 PM
A good crypto project is enough to change one's life so why not take the chances?all i keep doing is making sure i get a share hold of very good coins or tokens with real use case and yes i did have many coins but i believe that a good crypto project is all we need. Am I doing the right thing?
That's good, it's only a matter of how we understand the market conditions and tempo in investing, if you have found the pattern. Maintain and it will be better if it is improved again, not because it is not satisfied. But to avoid saturation when you use the same pattern in investment
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2019, 08:34:34 AM
So i heard this guy talking about how Bitcoin Cash is actually the real Bitcoin. He says that Bitcoin is no longer what Satoshi Nakamoto originally proposed in the Bitcoin whitepaper.

1. It was supposed to be Peer to Peer but Segwit is destroying this.

2. On-Chain Scaling was supposed to raise as needed (Block Size)

3. Since Bitcoin scales on Chain , It has fast transactions.

Can i get your input on why he might be right or wrong?

When we look at other people's research, we should also examine whether the research results are true or not, and I hope we are not easily influenced by research results that we have not reviewed again, we must also have an important role in other people's research for accurate research results. And such as his research results are wrong, there seems to be a gap for us to straighten out what happened there.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: December 20, 2019, 08:55:22 PM
I think the price of bitcoin this year is quite good although at the end of this year the price of bitcoin has continued to decline to $ 6900 but bitcoin has pumped up to $ 13,000 in the middle of this year. and provides a sizable profit to people who bought bitcoin earlier this year at a bitcoin price of $ 3000. the rise and fall of bitcoin prices is normal for us as bitcoin holders to be good at speculating and making good use of bitcoin price fluctuations. and now is the right time to add and buy bitcoin. I am optimistic that bitcoin can pump next year.

And please do not forget,,, less than 1 year ago we were seeing a low for 2019 of about $3400. So we are actually more than 2x more than that right now, so there are MANY people who are still very happy with doubling their capital in less than 1 year, no stock has done that this year I believe.

I do not want a BTC pump. I want a sustainable and slow growth:)
In line with you, If there is no price up and down, what is the rhythm for? The point is we have already planned some, the rest will be a surprise. And again we need to instill a bit of satisfaction in cryptocurrency and never regret your decision. I think fortunately 100-200 is also good if we can manage it
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: December 20, 2019, 07:56:52 PM
I think you doing right things, but i suggest you to focus on only 3-5 coins. If you find a good coins then dont split your investment into many part, go with 3-5 project and set low price, do not chase the price because the market still in downtrend and that coins may have lower price. Anyway good luck with your choise. Grin
I agree, it is safe that 3-5 coins to invest more than that is certainly better, because the many options can overcome our worries about the ups and downs in the market price. And keep us from losses because we only focus on one coin, even though basically we can only hope.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 20, 2019, 06:49:56 PM
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

As time goes by, I'm sure scammers will develop and will not run in place, they always look for the slightest gap to launch the action, so we should also increase our awareness of the threat of scammers, and hopefully investors will not be swayed by the tactics carried out by scammers
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH dump even more due to PlusToken? on: December 20, 2019, 05:20:37 PM
A huge number of ether (ETH) tokens have just moved from a wallet associated with the PlusToken Ponzi scheme. More than $105,099,000 worth of the native crypto asset of the Ethereum network moved between the wallet and an unknown one earlier today.

The Twitter account Whale Alert (@whale_alert) highlighted the huge transfer this morning. The total number of Ether moved was a massive 789,525 ETH.

Source link here

This is something that we feared the most, unless you are a buyer waiting for your buy order to be filled.

Whale Alert keeps monitoring the wallet that are being used by PlusToken, and it's now being moved to an unknown wallet.

I remember that time when I was in Singapore, one weird looking guy approached me and introduced me to PlusToken. As what I have seen in their compensation plan, I immediately moved away and said "No, I'll pass!". Ponzis are not for me.

I just feel sorry for those who are being victimized by PlusToken.
I think it's legitimate if it is considered a marketing strategy used by ETH, in the end of 2017 I campaigned on a token involving ETH, but after seeing the numbers you put there I was worried that it was a scamm, because in my experience I had never thought of that much, even though can happen with the smallest possibility
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: December 20, 2019, 12:09:05 PM
I don't have complain about altcoins market situation why not grow yet because almost still two years over save lavle. I want ask myself i can hold make right altcoins or nor just no need to worry it will grow possible one day. Therefore no have fixed date years month but we have hopefully see on next year 2020.
I agree, do not let the bad market prices make us complain excessively, our complaints do not have an impact on price increases, what is happier than the realization of a hope? The lack of hope, we have prepared a good strategy, strong mentality. But if the market says differently? We can only wait until the situation improves.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 19, 2019, 09:05:17 PM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

What are your experience: positive or negative.
I think your decision is good, maybe in the future you just need further consideration in deciding that you do not need to regret it like this, if Christmas is a blessing, hopefully there will be a change in the next opportunity.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highly Anticipated Ethereum Upgrade Could Be Delayed for Years on: December 19, 2019, 06:37:59 PM
Ethereum's pivotal redesign, Eth 2.0, is likely still three to five years from execution.

Rather than hurrying into a general redesign, engineers for the open-source blockchain stage are as of now chipping away at a suite of present moment fixes to improve the wellbeing and sturdiness of the system, as indicated by another blog entry at Ethereum.org

What do you guys have to say about this? Many are waiting for this upgrade before bitcoin halving, seems its never going to happen
Requires a lot of energy and competent in the field of development, I'm not sure if ETH can really reduce the price of bitcoin, but if it is possible, maybe a new history will be created. We always expect the best for cryptocurrency, and minimal controversy.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Country for finance regulation on: December 19, 2019, 01:21:42 PM
Perhaps you can check this threads:

(1) ASIAN CRYPTO FRIENDLY COUNTRIES
(2) Which countries are more friendlier to crypto?
(3) Best country for crypto
(4) Most crypto friendly countries in Europe

Good luck finding countries that suits your need.
Thanks for the information, I am pressing the focus on the Asian region, I think Japan and Singapore are indeed crypto-friendly, I hope they can spread in the Asian region especially that crypto is not as always feared. And also almost 60% of countries that are crypto-friendly have pretty good progress.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: December 19, 2019, 11:40:26 AM
If I have $ 1000 to invest in the cryptocurrency market, I think 60% of the $ 1000 I will allocate to invest in Bitcoin. 20% for ethereum and the rest for some altcoins that are in the top 20 coinmarketcaps. By diversifying investments, I think this will reduce concerns when the market is volatile
I also think so, who doubts bitcoin? We all know that bitcoin still has a high price, from the amount of $ 1000 I have, maybe I will map 40% for bitcoin, 30% for eth and the rest I will save while looking at which coins are suitable for short-term use.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How and why to buy Stablecoins in 2020 on: December 19, 2019, 09:42:26 AM
You might be pretty familiar with the cryptocurrency markets, but sometimes stablecoins can still feel a bit elusive. They’re a type of cryptocurrency that are designed to reduce price fluctuations. It’s essentially a coin which has its value pegged to another asset, like fiat. We’ll be taking a look at how and why to buy stablecoins in 2020. Let’s dive in.

What is a stablecoin?
Most people imagine stablecoins as a coin that’s connected to fiat currency, like the US dollar. While this may be the case for some stablecoins like Tether (USDT) and TrueUSD (TUSD), it’s not true for all of them. You can create a stablecoin that’s pegged to pretty much any asset, including precious metals, other cryptocurrencies, or even a combination of the two.

Ultimately, the goal of a stablecoin is for it to be worth the same as the asset backing it. So, a stablecoin that’s pegged to the US dollar, will always have its value sit at around $1.

Why buy stablecoins?
A lot of people are enamored by the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets, but others find it pretty stressful. Maybe you fall somewhere in the middle: You’re a crypto-fanatic, but all of the volatility in the market gives you a headache.

Stablecoins allow you to stay in the crypto-game, while combating the (sometimes wild) price fluctuations that occur in this exciting industry.

Stablecoins also allow you to use fiat like crypto. They’re pegged to fiat, so it makes it pretty simple to invest USD on crypto exchanges. Stablecoins can also provide perspective to those unfamiliar with the way the cryptocurrency market works. Most people will want to compare crypto value to fiat prices, so they can use stablecoins to do so on exchanges that don’t support fiat.

Stablecoins also provide the security and low transaction fees that are indicative of the nature of the crypto asset market. Stablecoins are a great way to achieve fast and affordable transactions of fiat-like assets. You’ll have the speed and cheap transaction fees associated with crypto, and you’ll also know the value of the stablecoin you’re using is the same as the fiat (or other asset) that it’s linked to.

How to buy stablecoins
Tether (USDT) currently has a market cap of $4,129,579,780, the fourth largest according to CoinMarketCap (at the time of writing). TrueUSD (TUSD) has a market cap of $161,707,769 USD at the time of writing. They’re both doing pretty well at the moment. Luckily, getting in on the how and why to buy stablecoins in 2020, also provides you with some insight into the buying process on Vertex.Market, a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can launch their own offerings. You’ll find both of the stablecoins available on the marketplace, with some pretty fantastic deals. Simply sign up, and do your thing. No KYC necessary.

Why stablecoins?
Stablecoins were initially invented as a way to combat the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets, and they’re doing a pretty stellar job of fulfilling their purpose.

So, how and why to buy stablecoins in 2020? It’s pretty simple: you’ll be incorporating a solid digital asset into your portfolio, that is backed by a major asset, and you’ll still receive all of the perks that come with other cryptocurrencies (like low transaction fees and fast transaction speeds). Find offerings on Tether (USDT) here, and TrueUSD (TUSD) here.

Helpful article, I have another reference for 2020, I hope this is all in line with expectations regardless of the twists and turns of the market price, and I don't just rely on coins and big projects. And I will try to share with my friends so they know about this info
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: December 18, 2019, 08:38:25 PM
Dogecoin is likely to pick up, as people are realizing it’s worth and they are getting over it being a mere crypto joke. Further, The coin might touch the $0.02 mark, where the highest expected price is $0.0294 and the minimum expected price will be $0.0224.

https://coinpedia.org/information/dogecoin-price-analysis/

What's your dogecoin price prediction?
For the short term it might be an option, but for the medium or long term I think it needs a lot of consideration. I have never kept a dogecoin for a long time, not because of the amount but because I mapped which coins could be short term, which were medium term, which were long term. Apart from the ups and downs of prices in the market
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 18, 2019, 07:30:37 PM
In your opinion, what is an effective way to introduce crypto currency for newbies, and how important do you think?
I think platform like the Brave browser are a very effective way, this is important because newbies are the future?
Give all your thoughts here
I think the very first thing is to develop a sense of curiosity about cryptocurrency, what is contained in it, such as there is no sense of curiosity, why should be told? Then enter the second step usually I give some reference sources that he must learn and the rest let him determine where he wants to participate in cryptocurrency.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Things you could purchase with Cryptocurrencies (Opera Merc) on: December 18, 2019, 06:22:06 PM
I was bored and decided to surf my Opera browser wallet d'App section and the first app I stumbled upon was the Opera Store where you can enjoy access to Enjoy access to exclusive, limited-edition Opera-branded crypto merch. Instant payment with built-in Opera Ethereum wallet. I saw a thread recently asking if people has ever purchased something with Cryptocurrencies before, personally I have paid for services using Cryptocurrencies and one of the best ways of refilling my airtime or data balance is with https://www.bitrefill.com/.

To access the Opera Store, all you have to do is go to the wallet section of the browser, Click on the D'App icon on the bottom right part of the wallet (on mobile devices) and the very first d'App you would see is the Opera Store, you could purchase a number of Mercs there like branded hoodies, mugs and much more.

If you have been wanting to purchase something with Cryptocurrencies, here is your chance to make your first purchase for little to nothing, because some products there are as low as $11 (including tax and delivery).

If you know other stores or services that accepts Cryptocurrencies, you can share here as well to help others discover the awesome things they could do with Cryptocurrencies.
It seems that the application has not been officially launched in my country, I always feel happy if there are many applications that support the payment feature using cryptocurrency than I have to cash the coin first and then spend it. I hope this application can be released soon in my country and be followed by several other applications.

1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Legal Risks in Crypto World ? on: December 17, 2019, 09:52:24 PM
Together with the explosion of interest in the digital currency and all its implications for new and traditional companies, the legal impact of these new technologies and currencies needs to be made clearer. Given that governments around the world, regulatory agencies, central banks, and other financial institutions work to understand the nature and significance of digital money, individual investors can invest in this new environment. On the other hand, when buying and selling cryptocurrencies, investors assume certain legal risks.

Although digital currency is easy to confuse for traditional electronic money, this is not the same; similarly, as it is not physically owned and carried between parties, it is unlike conventional cash currencies. The fact that space has only been popular recently in comparison to more conventional currency and payment systems is part of the uncertainty of the legal status of the digital currency. Below, we will discuss some of the new legal ramifications of cryptocurrency investment.

Cryptocurrencies as Property

How the central government views cryptocurrency investments is a vital legal concern for any cryptocurrency investor. In the United States, the IRS has described cryptocurrencies not as currencies but as assets

What is your thought about Legal Risks in Cryptocurrency ?
I am just worried that in the future there will be regulations regarding the violation of the use of cryptocurrency in my country, maybe until now we can still relax because the legality of cryptocurrency 60:40 is 60 that rejects the existence of cryptocurrency and 40 that agrees to cryptocurrency. All I do is go through and be ready whatever the decision and the worst possible.
