the problem in La Liga is that no one besides Barcelona or Real Madrid would buy a player for more then 70 € Million on a single player even Real Madrid or Barcelona

Some actually has the funds over that however even if they ended up signing player for that much, it is not a guarantee that they will win the league as well so all they will need to do is to get atleast top 7 and the team will ended up getting profit each year . Wether it is a fact or not, football in laliga is kinda like business nowadays
yeah they have the fond for  80 or 90 million or even more but they wouldn't go to put it on just one player because with that money they can bring atleast 3 good players that could be better then him so it's a gamble we so that Manchester united got Pogba for more then 105 Million euro and every person said that was extreamly overpriced even when United have one of the highest ressouces and i think that Pogba can worth double what oscar realy costs

In terms of upside potential, yeah I totally agree with you.  Pogba has more of a chance to go level up a notch than Oscar does.  If Pogba does level up and become one of the greats at United, I don't think he'll leave the club.  First reason is he could be unbuyable like how Messi or Ronaldo are.  The price for him will just be too high.  The second reason is I think Pogba is to United as Messi is to Barca.

Manchester United VS Snderland Manchester United 2-0

I'm sure the troops jose mourinho was in his best performance. This week's game is very heavy, sunderland is a very compact team. but I believe that Manchester United can get three points at old trafford.

Jose mourinho squad is really unstable, one game they perform really well the next day they play like beginner, but i dont see any big threat from sunderland, so this game is supposed going to win by man united easily, i predict it will be 2-0 for united win

Wrong, they have been stablilzing lately and Mourinho's current 4 3 3, with Pogba in the midfield played wide, Carrick in the middle and Herrera also wide have been working good for the last 10(?) fixtures.

Oscar(25 years old! ) officially goes to Shanghai SIPG.  Chelsea go to 60M of $!

I don't understand how a player so young decides to go play in a low-level league.

A player like Oscar wants first team football but it looks like he doesn't have a permanent spot in Conte's preferred
3 4 3 formation.  He probably got disillusioned with football in Europe and decided he could play for the money if the transfer to China takes place.

That's actually good news for Chelsea because they'll have extra funds to acquire Veratti with this January or on the next summer transfer window.  I'm pretty sure he'd love to play under Conte since Veratti played under him in the Italian national team.
Oscar was a good player but the changes of management cost him his spot in Chelsea and he could demanded to transferred out to another team maybe in italy sure Juventus or Inter and Milain would like to aquire him but he chose to secure his futur in my opinion he wasted his talents because no matter what the Chinese spended they will never reach the level of football in europe they will succeed in looring the local fans but internationaly i don't think they can do much

The La Liga would be the best destination for him if he wants to play high level European football.  I don't know much about the clubs over there though, so I guess we would have to ask Falconer which La Liga club would suit him outside Barca and Real.
11085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 24, 2016, 09:58:16 AM
boxing day match
chelsea Vs AFC AFC Bournemouth
chelsea is perfect perfomance 11 win in strike premierlague
in this match chelsea without diego costa and n'golo kante (accumulation in card)
AFC Bournemouth in top ten rank is the worst defence, bad defence 23-28 goal, and productivity goal is bad too
so although without diego costa chelsea can easy win
defeat 2 goal or 1 goal, 1-0 or 2-0

Nice analysis.  I wish more posters here would give a little more effort in this thread instead of spewing out mindless spam.

Chelsea do have the advantage here but I don't they can easily win it.  I could see them struggle a bit without Costa and especially Kante.  That midfield will have a hole that Wilshere can fill.

The decent bet would be the under 2.5 goals imho.

Well, is it dead?
I think not.

What about everyone else here?

It's not 'dead', just stagnating both in terms of development and in 'adoption' whatever that means nowadays.  The sudden surge in price is obviously a pump and it can't be sustained for a long time by the people who did it, assuming the pump doesn't get, for lack of a better word, 'viral'.
11087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: December 24, 2016, 08:39:02 AM
Heavy betting towards Nunes is moving the line down and up for Rousey.  If Rousey's odds reach around 1.90 by Friday I could end up betting for her plus some Ronda win via sub props.

Odd: 1.56

After 3 wins with only goal, i think that is time for Blues to hit some more goals, in this case at least two. We will see in few days. Stay tuned for more tips from EPL ! Good luck to followers

I hate those odds due to the fact that Costa and Kante are both serving one match bans.  And I wouldn't underestimate Eddie Howe and Bournemouth here.  He's clever and will definitely take advantage of those two key players being absent for their match.  The man to watch here is Jack Wilshere.  He'll definitely be more effective without Kante's influence in the midfield.

I just found out...  Alan Pardew is sacked by Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish.  It is also understood that Sam Allardyce will replace him.

Between Pardew and Allardyce, I pick Pardew.  I like his high tempo style compared to Allardyce's preference in playing defensive, long ball football.  Palace should have given him a longer time to stay at the club.  Maybe they sacked him because he broke the club's transfer record twice and it has gained them nothing.  Grin

Here's a link to the news.

These predictions are mostly nonsense.  I say this because every altcoin depends on the rise and fall of Bitcoin.  Look at the current prices of all the altcoins mentioned in the OP.  They're all in the red.  Now why is that?  The answer is pretty obvious.

Monero:  Core GUI Beta 1 Released
https://getmonero.org/2016/12/22/monero-core-gui-beta-released.html

This is the only worthy news update among all the proof of work based coins.  The sad thing with Monero's recent release of its GUI is the timing.  If only Bitcoin isn't go through a strong price surge, XMR could be doing one of its own right now.  Put it in your watch list and look out for this one imo.

We have just announced our wagering contest here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1725263.0

Come play and see if you have what it takes to take home the Prizes!

1st Place gets 1 BTC
2nd place gets 0.25 BTC
3rd place gets 0.1 BTC

Cool!  Thanks.  That's a nice way of promoting the site around here.  I would also like to suggest in having a player vs player dice game to the site.  If it's possible, why not add Yatze in the list of games?  It's kinda like poker but with dice.  It's very addicting.  Wink

BTC/USD:  The Parabolic Rise...  And When Things Start Breaking Down

This is where active traders, both pros and amateurs, start getting irrational and become risk averse as their gains start getting big.  In my experience of observing all the different coins and tokens traded in the scene, this is where some cheeky traders start taking profit by dumping on the clueless ones.  They live by the mantra 'Buy when others are fearful and sell when others are greedy'.  In knowing that some of the other short biased cheeky traders start placing their huge shorts in the market right now and make a killing when the trend reverses.  And with BTC, falling prices do fall fast.

I'm not saying that Bitcoin will surely fall vs the USD right now, all I'm saying is that it's time to be careful.

Who win the Premier League: (updated 23/12/2016)

Chelsea        @1.70
Manc. City    @5.50
Liverpool      @7.50

Arsenal        @11.00
Manc.United @20.00
Tottenham   @25.00

with 11 straight wins (with 3 other victories sets new record in the Premier League) Chelsea has become the big favorite to win.
I am convinced, however, that the City of Guardiola will fight until the end.
Liverpool and Arsenal are the usual unfinished.

Surprisingly the bookies think Man City is more likely to win it than Liverpool, and the same with Man United and Tottenham.  I would think it's the other way around.  I'm also curious what the odds are for Man United to be in the top 4, I'd rather have a Mourinho team in the CL next year than a Wenger team.

I feel BoX was justified in not counting/paying for those posts. You cannot make seven constructive posts in ten minutes. If I managed this campaign, regardless of whether it was close to the deadline or not, I wouldn't have counted most of those. Don't like how the campaign is managed? Find another one. Plenty of other campaigns managed by different people.

Yup.  That's called spamming.  And Boxx is running the campaign really well because he actually checks every single post and he's willing to remove participants if they catch them spamming.

Btw...  Thanks for the payment.
11098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: December 22, 2016, 06:29:14 AM
Only 10 days to go for the fight, still haven't firgured out what to do with this one. I didn't bet any fight in UFC 206 because I didnt saw it clear except for the Urijah fight where i thought he could win but I wastn sure 100% so I lost an opportunity to make money.

Now with this new fight I cant honestly predict any of them.

True.  I was sure I was betting on Nunes the minute I heard about the bout, but then I found out later that almost everyone was thinking the same way I do that Rousey might be psychologically impaired to take such an important fight.  And yet the lines stayed almost the same in the sports books.  Do the odds makers know something we don't?  Are the sharps still holding out until the last minute to pour the money in?

It almost feels like the sharps are waiting for the Rousey line to improve and pour all the money on her.
11099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 22, 2016, 06:15:02 AM
So any prediction for boxing day?? Or because no bigmatch on that day??
I need some preview+prediction for Leicester vs Everton and Most popular web & tv show only talking about key players that would not playing on that day..

Boxing Day -

Arsenal vs WBA - Arsenal win (surely they'll return to winning ways after 2 losses)
Chelsea vs Bournemouth - Chelsea win (No Costa or Kante but they will still win)
Leicester vs Everton - Both teams to score
Man Utd vs Sunderland - Man Utd to win
Hull vs Man City - Man City to win

Isn't Vardy serving a one match ban for the alleged double footed tackle in their fixture against Stoke?  Everton has also lost their last 4 away games which could make Koeman use a more defensive approach.  A bet of under 2.5 goals is more likely to happen than both teams to score.  And please put the odds right beside your predictions.
11100  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: December 22, 2016, 12:56:13 AM
The sheet has been updated and provied to Alex.

Also after giving it a little thought posts in Tipster, prediction etc. threads will not count towards the post amount. I'll talk with Alex about this and get it updated to the OP asap.

You can't do this in the middle or at end of the week when payments are made.  That's unfair.  You know I make it a point to make good posts in any thread.

Quote
EDIT: Also in general it would be appreciated that posts in Gambling discussion threads that are obviously just spam would be reduced. I think I will have to make my selection process a bit more strict the upcoming weeks and the next count I'll be very careful with selecting the accepted posts.

In my case I beg you to reconsider.  All my posts in the gambling discussion sub, be it in the prediction threads or not were NEVER made to spam.  So please make an exception to the users like me who are trying to make good content in the gambling discussion sub.  Please check my posts.

Edit:  And where do you expect we post in the gambling sub?  In spammy threads like these?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1550071.0

It would be better to ban all posts in the gambling sub altogether.  Which is counterintuitive since BitDice is a gambling site.  It's better to regulate each post the users make anywhere in the forum.  If you can't do it alone, I will be very happy to help you to flag spam posts and send them to you for approval each week.  What do you say?
