11101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 12, 2016, 05:42:46 AM

unfortunately the game ended up draw 2-2 ,

Liverpool finally lose klopp's magic as I thought that they were doing very good at the start of the game leading with 1 goal and payet is definitely the man of the match for this game, this guy deserve to play in a better club and I wonder why isnt there any team out there that wants to sign this man

Payet?  Michail Antonio stood out more than Payet.  He really did a good job going behind the defenders on the counter.  He'll be acquired and signed by another top club during the summer, I reckon.  He's such a good prospect.

Guys did you see how nervous Mourinho was near the end of the match? I bet he was having flashbacks from the game last week lol  Grin And I think the public even booed Fellaini when he walked on the pitch. Anyways congrats to United on finally getting a win and I think they owned Tottenham today and completely deserved it.
At least this night Mourinho can sleep well, but my question is why Mourinho entering Fellani when the match is only 1minutes left? it's quite weird and look like Mourinho don't want to take a risk so he spend the rest of time with entering Fellani to the match

Because he's really loyal to Chelsea.  His real plan is to ruin United.  Grin  Kidding...

Just like the fixture against Everton the final minutes are usually played making long passes and making fouls.  So it would make sense to get Fellaini in to have more advantage in aerial duels.  He could even get a last minute header in if he gets a good ball.  And at the same time he's good to be in the game defensively.  What happened at Goodispn Park was just a stupid accident.

11102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: December 12, 2016, 05:34:40 AM
In a near certain way, two new players are to be waited at Paris, probably an offensive one to help let Cavani rest a bit and a defender. Partick Kluivert, PSG's officer for transfers and much more other roles, engaged himself to PSG's president to do that ! That's exciting ! Maybe Julian Draxler ?

Julian draxler probably wont be joining PSG as there are some other club that wants to sign him as well. Im sure that PSG might be having some financial issue soon as they started selling their players at the last summer transfer which is kinda odds considering their ambition to win the champions league and ligue 1

Didn't Man United want to sign him during the summer transfer window?  I wonder if they're still willing to acquire him considering that Juan Mata and Paul Pogba are doing ok in the No. 10 position.  I think Miki will do well in that position too.

Nah.  That's EMH you're talking about.  I follow my own philosophy in trading.  I have accepted the fact that I can't predict the market perfectly, because who really can right?  All I do is follow the price and make my own rules in trading which focuses more on sizing my trades, measuring volatility and knowing when to buy or sell before I even make the trade.  I make my analysis public but I don't spoon feed you all the info.  It should be a learning process for everyone.

I just told you that there is no point in analysing the chart if you don't believe in technical analysis... you're just loosing time. We are speaking about empirical studies in place since the 60s, I personally think that this weight a bit more than our personal biased opinion.

Who are you to tell me that there's no point and how I trade?  You're just like me, an amateur trader who's trying to learn and to earn.  If you can earn.  If you were really a 'pro' then you wouldn't be wasting your time in this forum.  You also have a sig campaign like me, I would like to add.

My strategy has been working out for me so far.  If you can teach me on your way of how to trade, then we can start discussing it in private or public if you want.

Manchester United - Tottenham again over 2.5 goals for this game as well. Odds are very good and chances are pretty well @2.02. Manchester United in past has won few matches totally one way but this time I am expecting to see some resistance plus contribution in total goals by Tottenham too. That will take the total number of goals to higher than usual.

I got the under 2.5 goals.  I think it will be a tough game for both clubs to score goals.  Man United has been improving but they are having a hard time translating their attacks into goals.  Tottenham is good but Mourinho will likely park the bus against them and look for counters.

So I wasn't able to watch the event live.  But I heard that the Swanson vs Choi fight was really awesome.  Looking forward to watch the replay later.  After Pettis missed weight I lost interest.  I didn't even make a single bet on the event.  I also heard that Pettis broke his hand in round one..?

That's up to you if you wanna get into ETH.  Imho it's still too risky to buy it.  I'd rather go long on ETC as it might be starting to become more stable lately.

On STR, I have no idea.  I personally tend to stay away when an altcoin becomes too volatile.  Also keep in mind that I don't believe in making predictions in the market.  All we can do is follow the price.

Two things I noticed from yesterday's fixtures that could benefit us in making bets.

1) Leicester could be starting a 3 game winning streak.  And betting on them to win for the next two games and the over 2.5 goals could be profitable.

2) Bet against Everton, ML, in their next fixture or buy a half point if the odds are ok.

Man City also is suffering some sort of dip in form.  Maybe Pep is introducing tactics to much too soon in his first season.  It's almost like he's changing things up at every match.

I mean really?  He follows all the sports from Cricket to Basketball and all the leagues in Football?  He's clearly making things up and trying to pretend he follows all those sports.  Can't a mod or someone tell the campaign manager to control their campaigners and tell them to quit spamming?

Feel sorry for Southampton, they caught napping by the Hapoel Beer Sheva and the only shot on target from them, they get a goal. Hapoel Beer Shevaif sail it through because of the H2H record. If it wasn't the horrible dislocated shoulder from Charlie Austin, Southampton would already take a place in the knock out stages. Shane Long wasn't delivery anything after he been brought in, Tadic should've came early.

That injury is a recurring one.  If I remember it right , he also dislocated his right shoulder when he was at QPR.  That's a shame because I think some team will be interested in him in the January transfer window.  He's a good target man and if there's a club that really needs him, it's Everton.  They play direct football under Koeman.  It would be nice to see him play there as a supersub.
11111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 10, 2016, 11:58:33 AM
People who are predicting Manchester City to win, keep in mind that both Aguero and Fernandinho are out due to red card and Aguero is their only goal scoring machine. De Bruyne scores but keep in mind that they are in a miserable form and haven't won since a long time. Pep is still figuring his shit out in PL and don't take the champions for granted. This fixture is too unpredictable.

Same thoughts here.  Although Iheanacho could do 'ok' in Aguero's place judging from his performance during the match with Celtic.  He was not bad, he made good runs into the box and timed them well.  The goals will come as long as he keeps doing that consistently.

Speculation Rule: buy when others are irrationally pessimistic or too cautious

For trading in general it's buy on strength and sell on weakness.  But with Bitcoin's case it's buy the dips and hold, so the OP has the right idea, but only with Bitcoin.

Here are the weigh ins for UFC 206.  Well apparently Pettis missed weight.  Would this have an effect on the way he fights psychologically?  Will he be all out guns blazing since he has nothing to lose or will he not care anymore and perform slightly lower than his usual level?

Tottenham has the best defense in the EPL so far with 10 goals conceded.  Man United has been playing better but they seem to be having a hard time finding the back of the net.  The Spurs isn't exactly scoring well vs good teams too.  So easy bet on the under 2.5 goals @ 1.80.

I generally like the site.  It looks clean, simple and it's not intimidating at all unlike some of the other Bitcoin gambling sites I've come across.  I also like the 'social gaming' direction the site is taking as I also think that's the future of online gambling.  Having said that, I wish you would offer a player vs player dice game like craps or yatzy even.  Those games are simple and fun to play vs other avid gamblers.

FK Zorya Luhansk vs Manchester United I have my bet on under 2.5 goals there, in previous when Manchester United was at home ground it won hardly against them so that I'm pretty sure about this match too, this will be get finished under 2.5 goals although Manchester United will win this match.
Good prediction on this match Zorya has nothing to show against this team.
Manchester United was disappointment to only score 1 goal through whole match and then one more near the very end.
They should of scored atleast another 3 goals thus opponent.
It doesn't seem like Rooney will be with Manchester for very much longer. He has done nothing and is just like a cow out to pasture when he is on the pitch.

I wouldn't quite put it that way but I agree with the general idea.  Grin

Rooney has to go and so does Fellaini.  I wonder why even Fellaini gets to be ahead of Schneirderlin in Mourinho's roster choices.  On the upside, check out that Miki goal.  He's so awesome to watch when he's in his A game and I hope we more of this in the future.  Especially in the EPL.  I wonder why City didn't put a bid up for him during the summer transfer.
11117  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Bitcoin Speculation Thread. Please Critique my Analysis. ;) on: December 09, 2016, 05:15:49 AM
The current run of BTC/USD is a perfect example of how it should be right now.  It's slow, stable with a small pinch of volatility on the upside and downside here and there.  But the overall trend is up.  I love it.  Imagine if it could stay like this for two to three years.

ETH/BTC:  The Classic Bull Trap

Now I might make a fool out myself here by posting this, as this could be a last ditch attempt for the whales behind Ethereum to manipulate the price up.  It may even be an exit scam as we have all seen that the platform is in dire straits.

But anyway, look at the chart without any 'filters' and 'shades' of technical indicators that tend to make one situation look subjectively like another.  That looks a lot like a classic Bull Trap or what some would say a Dead Cat Bounce.  Don't fall for it.  If anything, it's an opportunity to get some shorts here and there.  But be careful, like I mentioned this could also be a last ditch attempt for the whales to moon this.

this is exactly why we are here, fomo short had to stop. eth may have capitulated, only the future will tell us.

I totally agree with you that only the future can definitely tell us where this all is going.  But we have seen this happen again and again before.  And it usually ends how it usually ends.  It goes back to how it was trending as before because it was simply a bull trap in the first place.

Please note that I said 'usually' as reversals also tend to happen a certain amount.
