11101  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 06, 2016, 08:24:30 AM
As it snot regular investment, the idea of placing your funds with the casino is strange as is

i don't find it that strange.
a casino is a business like any other but with maybe a bit more risk in some cases but it is a business nonetheless that you can make an investment in it and share in the revenue.

Only thing should take care is invest only in well-trusted casinos instead going with new casinos. Also, you should diversify your investments to reduce your loses. In the long run, casino investments give a good profit. If you can take some risks then casino investment is a good option to grow your coins.

I agree, because one of the main problems of investing in casinos is that they can dissappear before you even return your investment. So it's a right choice to invest in the established ones.

They might propose you better terms of investment in a newly appeared casino but there is no guarantee they will manage to survive in the years to come.
11102  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2016, 08:14:48 AM
for real life gold is better because lots of people more know about gold than bitcoin
also gold is physical and can used in real life
but bitcoin is better on online world, to payment around the world
i think gold and bitcoin is different so we cant compare them
That is definitely true. But as Bitcoin is up and coming, more and more people are learning about it. This means that in the future, Bitcoin will be the better investment, along with the fact that the price is rising.

So then if we are talking about a long term investment Bitcoin is better than gold. Of course right now it is much easier to sell gold than Bitcoin in most places of the world, but in the future (and I think this future is not far away) you'll be capable to exchange your coins for the local fiat almost in any town.
11103  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 05, 2016, 11:02:23 AM
~
Actually most people are not trying, most people work their normal jobs all their life and wonder why they are not rich. You won't be rich working for someone else, that's why most people are not rich. Im not saying its easy but its not as hard as people think, confidence alone can make you rich

Easily said than done. Government doesn't want you to be rich, it wants you to work hard receiving small payments for your work. That's the nature of almost any government and if you would try to change the situation they will surely do everything they can to make you unsuccessful or to put you in jail if you are trying to succeed anyway.

There are exceptions of course, so you can try, who knows maybe you'll be one of the exceptions.
11104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Asking for best dice site for you on: October 05, 2016, 10:36:17 AM
Fastdice would be nice choice with high limit of amount for each claim. If you are looking stable dice sites than primedice, rollin and crypto-games would be good choice to get start there. Betking and Fortunejack is also good place for dice with progressive jackpot.

I don't know why but Fastdice isn't opening for me for several days already, apart from that the site is pretty good IMO. They have 1000 sats faucet even for the new players and withdrawals go smoothly there everytime.

I wanted to ask if somebody has same problems with loading the site but checked it again and I already have the answer:

Quote
fastdice.com will be relocating over the next few days. All player accounts & balances have been preserved and will resume once we are in our new home.
11105  Economy / Economics / Re: Have $20 worth of bitcoin, how to earn more with it? on: October 05, 2016, 08:55:01 AM
There are many suggestions to trade altcoins here, but seriously guys how much can you make per day investing $20 in trading?

Investing in established altcoins you can make not more than $2 per day if you are very lucky, but the good side of it is that you probably won't lose more than $2 too.

Investing in sh**coins theoretically you can make $20 or even $40 but most likely you will lose your $20.
11106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Brave' browser starts paying bitcoins on: October 05, 2016, 08:41:42 AM

An integrated Bitcoin payment system will handle payments, putting bitcoins into your wallet if you’ve agreed to see ads and taking them out if you’ve opted to have them blocked.

But it's still unclear how much are they going to pay if you’ve agreed to see ads. I don't know but something tells me it might be 5 sats per add or even less. We'll see of course what will be in reality (right now it is not working still AFAIK) but to me it looks like a brave publicity. )
11107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 05, 2016, 08:24:57 AM
Although I don't know any site with 0% house edge, I don't think it's impossible that a site like this will appear in the future.

It's just a different approach to how to make your business profitable. Making the house edge on your gambling site zero you'll attract a lot of players and thus you can make money on advertising.
11108  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: October 05, 2016, 08:09:13 AM
Another downside of receiving your monthly salary in Bitcoin is the fees you will be paying at Bitcoin exchanges upon converting the coins back to cash. This is something that puts me off when thinking about going fully into Bitcoin. All these fees and surcharges are unnecessary and honestly I would prefer to use fiat for my salary directly and exchange to Bitcoin from there when needed.

There is a way to deal with this issue. Any exchange has a difference between what you can get if you are selling and what you have to pay if you are buying.

Right now it looks like this more or less:

BUY - $614

SELL - $602

You just have to find a person among people you know who wants to buy BTC. Then you determine the price in this way:

($614 + $602) / 2 = $608

You sell your coins to that person for $608 per coin and everybody's happy.

11109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: October 04, 2016, 06:18:20 PM
I do not try to get rid of my bitcoin because I think it is a great currency and will continue to grow in the near future.  When you make posts like this OP, you are giving people a reason to get out of bitcoin which will do nothing buy hurt bitcoin.  Get people to use bitcoin, not leave it.

I agree. Although those people who are saying that a currency would be dead without circulatiing are right, I don't think that Bitcoin lacks circulation, so when you are encouraging people to spend thrier coins more than they are spending now it looks like you are saying to them "Get rid of your coins fast!".
11110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You accidentally find Satoshi.....What would you do? on: October 04, 2016, 02:55:48 PM
Satoshi is a real person. He is probably in his early forties. The problem with being an innovative thinker and filthy rich is that you get bored unless you're keeping yourself busy.

So, he is likely to be working somewhere in the technology world.

What if you accidentally figure out the guy you've been working with (sitting next to, is a customer, is a consultant, is your client, etc) is actually Satoshi.

What would you do?

Well, I'd say "Hello, Craig! Nobody believes you are Satoshi, but I do. You don't have to prove anything because it really doesn't matter who invented Bitcoin, but thank you mate, anyway."

Then he'd probably say: "You are crazy! Get away from me!"

And I would go my way. That'd be it. )
11111  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: October 04, 2016, 02:35:50 PM
really waiting for the moment when primedice will be really paying their giveaways Sad

What are you talking about? They are always paying their giveaways. I have received lots of them on my PD account without any problems. Also there were cases when I wasn't expecting to receive anything because I wasn't participating in any contest or giveaway but still I saw more money on my PD balance and having checked the transactions I saw that the money were sent by Randall or by hui or by MICRO, who are PD mods.

So PD is okay. ) Do not make unfounded accusations.

11113  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2016, 09:02:10 AM
My plan to get rich with bitcoin is to save up alot of bitcoin and invest alot of fiat in bitcoin. Everyone believes bitcoin prices will raise alot, I am also waiting for that moment.
When it happens I might sell my coin and go back to fiat.

The problem is nobody knows when is the right time to sell. People who biught BTC for $5 per coin sold them at $50 per coin and were happy with that, but I don't think they are happy now seeing the today's price of Bitcoin.

I think it's better to sell only as much coins as you need to have a certain amount of fait, and keep all the rest in BTC.
11114  Other / Off-topic / Re: 20 Bitcoins or 1 satoshi multiplied time 2 everyday for 30 days on: October 04, 2016, 08:54:27 AM
I guess it actually depends on if it doubles for 31 days + you get to keep all of your previous amounts or if you have to give back your previous amount.

January 1st: 1 Satoshi
January 2nd: 2 Satoshi
January 3rd: 4 Satoshi
January 4th: 8 Satoshi
January 5th: 16 Satoshi
January 6th: 32 Satoshi
January 7th: 64 Satoshi
January 8th: 128 Satoshi
January 9th: 256 Satoshi
January 10th: 512 Satoshi
January 11th: 1024 Satoshi
January 12th: 2048 Satoshi
January 13th: 4096 Satoshi
January 14th: 8192 Satoshi
January 15th: 16384 Satoshi
January 16th: 32768 Satoshi
January 17th: 65536 Satoshi
January 18th: 131072 Satoshi
January 19th: 262144 Satoshi
January 20th: 524288 Satoshi
January 21st: 1048576 Satoshi
January 22nd: 2097152 Satoshi
January 23rd: 4194304 Satoshi
January 24th: 8388608 Satoshi
January 25th: 16777216 Satoshi
January 26th: 33554432 Satoshi
January 27th: 67108864 Satoshi
January 28th: 134217728 Satoshi
January 29th: 268435456 Satoshi
January 30th: 536870912 Satoshi
January 31st: 1073741824 Satoshi = 10.73741824 bitcoins

I've done so much martingale on 2x so I know without calculating that if January 31st: 1073741824 Satoshi  then if you sum up all the other days of January you'll get (1073741824 - 1) Sats.  Smiley So the whole payment would be over 21 BTC.

But I'd prefer 14 BTC right now because that's a big money too.

I'll just leave this here for you: 1-800- 522-4700

You know you have a gambling problem when you can't wait a month to earn 6BTC lol. I would suggest giving that # a call ASAP.

Well, thanks for your concern but I'm not a gambling addict. I wasn't saying I'd take those money for gambling. Of course I wasn't going to gamble with such a big amount, but this is just my approach in general: it's better to have something right now than the bigger amount in an unpredictable future.
11115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: October 04, 2016, 08:46:59 AM
I want to know that girls also gamble?

If yes then it looks like the number of female gamblers is negligible with respect to male gamblers. why?

Well girls do gamble that's for sure. I've met several ladies on PD chat or example, and I'm not talking about PM, I mean the chat where everybody can see what happens. Everybody knows them.

I don't know why the number of female gamblers is negligible in comparison to male gamblers. Maybe because they are generally smarter and they have more interesting things to do. )
11116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: October 04, 2016, 08:35:18 AM
I dont think there is such a site witch one is the best because if there is a gambling site who accepting bitcoins for dice games almost every game is the same.

That's not how it is in reality. There are dice sites with faucets and there are sites without them. Among those with faucets some have 100 sats or even less and some have 1000 sats or even above. Also some dice sites are slow and some are fast. Another thing is withdrawal. You can wait forever for your withdrawal on some sites and it goes quickly on other sites.

There are other things like fairness and accessibility which I haven't mentioned but they are also important.

So NO, they are not the same and we need threads like this to know which sites are better than others.

Its because the faucets are just meant to test out the site before making an actual deposit. They aren't there so you can take 1000 sats and turn it into 100000 Sats and withdraw, the sites don't like that because they end up losing money slowly.

I agree with you partially but on the other hand how much is 100000 Sats? It's $0.6 which is not that big and don't forget that to reach 100k from 1k is not easy at all.

So IMO good sites should allow to do this because:
1. they won't be losing much;
2. they attract more users to their site;
3. how else can you check how withdrawing is working?
11117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: October 04, 2016, 08:24:34 AM
Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?
since i am at the age of 28 year . i have one little baby . i have saved with his name about 0.1btc . i think the amount of 0.1btc is small but over think that after 10-20 year what will be price , it may will be equal to 1btc after a long time .

I think you mean it will be equal to what 1 BTC is equal now. Well, yeah, I think the price of 0.1 will be even higher in 20 years, and that's not because of the Inflation of the US Dollar, we are talking about the real rising in value when you can buy more things with 1 BTC.
11118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: there are lot of dice sites , which telling us....... on: October 03, 2016, 05:43:20 PM
You have to be careful trusting stats.
There have been a lot of sites faking stats in the past, even popular sites like Fortune Jack. A lot of small dice sites too.

BetKing.io is the most popular and trusted crowdfunded dice site. That's a fact.
We have the most wagered out of all other sites, more than most of them combined. 387,775 Bitcoin
We have the most invested out of all other sites, more than most of them combined. 4839 Bitcoin.
We have the most profit our of all the other sites, more than most of them combined. 6764 Bitcoin.

All stats can be confirmed on 3rd party sites like https://dicesites.com/

We have lots of players, thousands have played. They do not bet continuously though.

Our players don't use bots or multi-accounts as often as you would see on other sites that might look busier because there's more bets happening.
Probably because we don't have a min bet of 1 satoshi and no faucet. Our players deposit and play with their own real money.

This shows too that I am not creating fake bot accounts and betting.

What makes it true is the crowdfunded model where if it was faked our investors would divest.

As an engineer you will know that other sites can easily fake looking busy by having more people listed online in their chat.
Or they can have one person with 100 accounts claiming a free faucet and betting 1 satoshi at same time so the site looks like it has 100 players.
This doesn't fool any real gambler though.

Unfortunately I can't open the link for this reason: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH (dont' know what this means), but I think saying that "BetKing.io  is the most popular and trusted crowdfunded dice site" is a bold statement. What about Primedice? Or did you mean that  BetKing.io  is number one among crowdfunded dice sites? Maybe I'm missing something but I always thought that PrimeDice is the most popular dice site.

EDIT: As I think that popularity of a site reflects in its chat I've checked the chat on BetKing.io. There are barely a few posts per hour there, so I don't think we can call it most popular.

EDIT2: But overall the site looks great. If that's true (and I personally think it is ) TOTAL SITE PROFIT is 6764 BTC which means investors are more than happy. Great job guys! Keep it up!
11119  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 03, 2016, 08:52:42 AM
I think because bitcoin provides many advantages to its customers. You also know that bitcoin is a payment system that is very easy to use. besides, bitcoin is also useful as a means to seek additional income
i do not see the advantages, when i am in a store. how can i make additional income with bitcoin in a store? why is it easier then reaching in my pocket and pay with fiat?

The answer is that if you are a bitcoin earner and if you will pay with fiat then for that you will need to convert your bitcoin to fiat so you will pay some fees to exchange and then you will request that fiat to your bank account for that you will pay more fees to the service provider and then to the banks. But when you will pay with bitcoin then you will not require to pay any additional fees for any service.

Yeah if we are able to spend bitcoins directly for buying anything then there will be no involvement of any transaction fees and it will surely save our money and buying things would become more easier.

I think in that case transaction fees would stay where they are, but they are small so yeah, we can ignore them.

To answer the OP's question " Why would customers use Bitcoins?" - if they don't have Bitcoins, they wouldn't use it. But those who have Bitcoins would for sure chose those stores who are accepting payments with BTC.
11120  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: October 03, 2016, 08:39:58 AM
I guess we will see everything fall and bitcoin rise Cheesy I dont think it will drop below 400 in the next 8 months.
It is not smart to sell everything at once because the value of the Bitcoin can always go up again, that means that you still can make more money.
But if you have just sold them all then it is not possible, you should always save some instead.

But bearex was right, Bitcoin was only rising from the time he posted. And I think he wasn't suggesting selling everything because if one thinks BTC will rise in the near future it's illogical to suggest selling all of your coins now.
