11101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Send change to foreign address on: January 23, 2019, 06:27:42 PM
You could just do a pay-to-many transaction and send a few coins (or the remaining balance) to your savings address.

I personally wouldn’t do that due to fees (when you want to spend from the savings account, there will be a lot of inputs from each transaction). I would just manually send a few coins weekly/monthly and call it a day.
11102  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Generating .onion Anonymous domains with Private Key for FREE! on: January 23, 2019, 04:58:34 PM
I assume everything is generated server-side, so why would anyone trust you? Why wouldn’t you store the generated private-key and use it for whatever you want in the future?
11103  Economy / Services / Re: Darkwebtalk.com forum launched, monthly bitcoin prices for top posters on: January 23, 2019, 04:31:44 AM
That’s when you have to set up and escrow for the funds or at least sign a message from an address with more than the value being promissed (5 x 0.1BTC); otherwise, why would anyone trust you?
11104  Other / Meta / Re: Viewing TRUST when not logged in on: January 23, 2019, 02:42:00 AM
-snip-
Merit is the same for everyone. Trust isn’t due to trust lists. That’s why one is shown and the othet isn’t. If a user doesn’t know how trust works (he is just someone passing by the forum and doesn’t have an account), he surely doesn’t know what merit is. So, it doens’t matter.
11105  Other / Meta / Re: Banned account on: January 22, 2019, 11:50:00 PM
How to appeal to meta?
Appealing for the ban is useless. The ban was deserved as “your friend” has commited plagiariam and there is no chances “he” will be unbanned.

The appeal system only works for those who got banned by mistake. “Your friend” didn’t.
11106  Other / Meta / Re: How to Add / Edit Bitcointalk Signature? on: January 22, 2019, 11:46:21 PM
So I need 30 posts in order to add signature ?
30 activity and 1 merit.

11107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Beginner Question "The provided Bitcoin address is not valid" on: January 22, 2019, 08:35:43 PM
You can benefit from using Segwit while maintaining full compatibility by creating a nested Segwit wallet (addresses starting with a 3).

Those are bech32 (native Segwit) addresses. They are not supported by the block explorer you are trying to use (Blockchain.info);

Either use a different explorer that supports it (e.g blockchair.com) or create a wallet with nested Segwit addresses (starting with a 3 and are supported everywhere).

11109  Other / Meta / Re: My account is banned on: January 22, 2019, 08:05:05 AM
And what can I do? How can I prove that I participated in a certain company bounty? If I decided to continue to participate and not lose the wages earned. I created the topic in META, but they did not unban me.
The point is that you have been banned before. So, you can't create or use another account while being banned. If it's permanent, you can't use the forum at all.

Any account identified by yours will be banned. That's what happened.
11110  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Blender, anonymous bitcoin mixer on: January 22, 2019, 03:34:30 AM
Alright so I think I got scammed by a blender onion lookalike,

can I confirm: http://bitblenduun5mnwp.onion/

is fake? if so theres the problem. Sad moneys gone
Yep :/

The only real Tor URL is http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion/ (as mentioned in the main thread).

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to recover your coins. Sorry for your lost.
11111  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Blender, anonymous bitcoin mixer on: January 22, 2019, 03:25:13 AM
~
Check the link above. The address you posted never received a single coin. That's 100% right.

Post here the transaction ID to see where the coins went (if they were ever sent somewhere). Because they are not on the address above.

I have sent to wallet 3D8UcNRVtXJoCBFrAn5NECMuEB1tYoaJRu

my bitcoins have left my wallet and my bitcoin provider has confirmed they have been received.
Are you sure? Just checked the address and it is empty with a clean transaction history.

11118  Other / Meta / Re: A privacy question around the usernames on: January 20, 2019, 05:43:09 PM
I’ve been reading about it for a while now, and it’s all a bit tits-up, with opinions of all sorts. Regardless, since the forum is not EU bases, it really should not apply.
Actually, IIRC, the GDPR applies to every website that can be accessed by EU citizens. If this forum allows EU citizens, you should (according to EU laws) let them have full access to their data regardless of where the forum is based/hosted/maintained.

Theymos on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1902503.msg18991383#msg18991383: "I intend to ignore all stupidity coming out of the EUSSR."
Got it. Thanks.
11119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could we change username on: January 20, 2019, 05:04:59 PM
okay i'm trying to get used to this username which i'll never like huh..
Your account is 1 month old and only has 3 posts (all 3 are in this thread, where you asks to change your username).

You literally have nothing to lose, so why don't you just create a new one?
11120  Other / Meta / Re: A privacy question around the usernames on: January 20, 2019, 04:34:20 PM
Something just crossed my mind.

What about GDPR? Shouldn't we be able to see what data theymos has on us and be able to delete everything if we want?
