11141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I interviewed Primedice's 2,400+ BTC (US$1,000,000) hacker. on: September 27, 2016, 09:26:56 AM
It would be great if this was really an interview with the HufflePuff, but I serously doubt that.

OP, claiming such things you should have provide a strong proof, otherwise it looks like a fake.

Why would HufflePuff talk to you in the first place? Why would he risk so much? For what reasons?

11143  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: September 27, 2016, 09:06:53 AM
bitcoin is a payment system and currency fields that are popular today. bitcoin will not die as long as there are communities that use

Yeah if people continue to use it then I don't think it will ever die and the community is growing at a moment so more users will lead to higher price of bitcoin  in coming years.

Yes, I think this is inevitable. Being here on this forum for years one could get an impression that everybody is already aware of what Bitcoin is and why it's good to use it. But unfortunately that impression is wrong. The vast majority of the people of the world haven't even heard of Bitcoin yet. I know how it sounds but that's true.

So Bitcoin has a great potential, no doubt.
11144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: September 26, 2016, 09:47:33 AM
Hi guys i just want to share my experience in gambling which is i am still playing since january but never made any profit with this game.. any other tricks settings and methods are already tried but still now never made any profits..
What you can suggest to me i will still continue to gamble in dice game with other methods or just stop gamble..Huh

If your aim is to have profits with gambling you better stop right now because as you can seee yourself you can't profit from gambling.

But if you want to have fun with it you can try betting on 0.01% winning chance which works perfectly for me. If I lose it's no big deal because bets were small, but if I win I really feel good because you should be very lucky to win a 0.01% bet and the reward is 9900 bigger than your bet was.
11145  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 26, 2016, 09:16:11 AM
I will not easily quit my job if I have no assurance with bitcoin, right now I have not earn more money compared to my current job in day job so I would say quitting is not a wise decision, however I will consider quitting once I found the method to make consistent money here.

I agree and I think that's it's just the matter of time when we can make consistent money with Bitcoin. However if you have skills to do some wanted jobs right now you already can switch to Bitcoins completely. I'm sure many people make their living with Bitcoin already but unfortunately you and me are not among them.
11146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: September 26, 2016, 09:00:35 AM
I find sometimes that the blockchain is really constipated and it can take ages for my payments to be confirmed so something needs to happen to get the blockchain moving faster and I don't know if developers are working on this or not but it would be nice to get a fix on it I think.
What was the longest time you waited for a conformation? I'm asking because it never was an issue for me: all the transactions were going almost immediately or were taking 20 minutes max. Just make sure you've included a decent transaction fee and then it should go fast. This doesn't mean you should pay big money to have a fast transaction, in most cases 10k sats (which is $0.06) is enough.
11147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: September 26, 2016, 08:41:40 AM
My strategy
1. Never be all in
2. always flat betting
3. don't bet the amount you can't lose
4. do deep research on sports.

Nice strategy. I don't believe you can significantly improve the chances of winning by doing a "deep research" on sports, but I agree with this on all the other points. The best part of your strategy IMO is the "don't bet the amount you can't lose" part. Anyone who will follow this advice will not regret gambling in the future.
11148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here on: September 26, 2016, 08:20:01 AM
No, you will not get free bitcoin here. Bitcoin is not a magical internet money which you can get for free and get rich off of.
He may be talking about the free coins you can get on signature campaigns.
You can earn free bitcoins by joining a signature campaign where you will advertize a service in your signature space. Payment rates depends on your rank and which campaign you are participating. You can check the service section for a list of active signature campaigns. For campaigns accepting newbies, you can try 777coin and bitvest.

Technically speaking even the satoshies you can get from a faucet are not free - you should at least solve the captcha to get them. Participating in a Signature campaign on this forum is definitely not something you can call "getting free coins", especially nowadays when after many complaints that the quality of posts has dropped because of sig campaigns the rules hardened significantly and most campaigns if not all of them won't accept you unless you are making quality posts.
11149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: September 25, 2016, 12:40:34 PM
I think the reason people still keep their coins on an exchange is that they don't want to lose that small part of their money which they should pay for withdrawing. This approach is not a good one though. You should easily accept losing a small fraction of your money in order to not lose much more.

Ohh that sounds nice. So I make free predictions and if I win then I earn free bets ? What size bets are free ?
Thank you for taking the time to check my post. This is quite close to what I want i guess. Did you not at one stage give away $35 ti new accounts or maybe it is another betting side I think of.

Yes, you got it right; that's exactly what the free bet competition is.

If you win, you get 10mBTC, which is 0.01 bitcoin, which is roughly $6 at the moment. It's a great way to earn some free bitcoins, considering that it's free to enter.

That is really nice if that's true. I still can't believe they are giving you the opportunity to win 0.01 without risking a dime. Or should you deposit first to have the right to predict? Anyway I'm really interested  and I'm going to check this in the near future.
11153  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: September 23, 2016, 08:32:57 AM
I think you should get a list of the things where you will spend your money, and try to avoid wasting it on unnecessary expenses.

Easier said than done. We can't be rational all the time, we can't do everything by the list. Sometimes those "unnecessary expenses" lighten up our lives more than anything else at the moment.

IMO you should buy unnecessary things from time to time because the ability to do so motivates you to work harder and to eran more money.
11154  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 23, 2016, 08:18:24 AM
At this time, no I would not.  Bitcoin is so volatile right now, the  risks outweigh the positives. Yes, I could make  thirty percent profit in fiat in a day, but I  could also lose the same.

Actually Bitcoin is not volatile that much nowadays. For the past two months the volatility of BTC have been always below 10% in one day.

I would accept Bitocin as my salary without hesitations.
11155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: September 23, 2016, 08:11:45 AM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

You are right, everybody should know this before starting gambling. The most dangerous way of thinking is that you can make money with gambling. Thinking loke this leads to actual gambling addiction which is very hard to heal.

But gambling shouldn't be banned IMO because for some people it's a fun way to vent. Society shouldn't deprive people of a right to vent.
11156  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2016, 06:39:04 PM
So after a while of earning some bitcoin from doing various services and signature campaigns, when you reach like $100 worth of BTC in your wallet, what exactly do you do with it? Just hold it till the rate is high and make some profit and then start all over again or what?

Bitcoins work as reserve money for me. When I need $50 or $100 because I want to buy something and I don't have that money in my poket and the next payment is a week away I sell some BTC. This happens couple of times in a year, I can't afford this more frequently but I'm glad to have what I have - a really nice reseve in BTC. )
11157  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: September 22, 2016, 09:46:51 AM
If to retire today you'd be satisfied with $2,000,000 you'll need around 200 BTC in 20 years IMO. Of course there are some predictions that Bitcoin will cost $100k or even $500k in 20 years, but I think $10k per coin is much closer to reality.
11158  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: September 22, 2016, 09:40:57 AM
Depends if you can wait patiently. If so, then you could just hold it and then sell it later. Most people in this forum earns some money by doing signature campaign, you don't need that 100$ to make money on that, though. You just have to wait for a long time until your account ranks up. I suggest that you do altcoin trading. Stuffs like faucets, captcha, etc are all just a waste of time.

I think instead of simply holding them, he should invest them in some altcoins which will help him in growing his money, and who knows if price pumps then he can make good profits in quick time.

Investing in altcoins is very risky if you want to have a good profit. Only unstable and unreliable coins have hundreds %% volatility in one day and if you use the volatility to your advantage you might profit big time. But nobody can guarantee that an altcoin you've bought for 200 sats/coin will not be 1 sat/coin in the end of the day.
11159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: September 22, 2016, 08:26:24 AM
I think almost everybody have tried martingale at least once. During a long period of time my strategy have been martingale on 50% winning chance. With that strategy you almost always can double you balance and sometimes you might get close to 100k from 200 sats faucet. Of course I'm talking about dice gambling sites. And don't forget that you might lose all your balance in two minutes too.

Recently I came to another strategy which is also a martingale but of a different kind. I play with 10% winning chance and I double my bet every fifth time after consecutive losses. If I win I go back to the initial bet which is around 0.5% of my balance.
11160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan is starting to love bitcoin again... on: September 22, 2016, 07:56:58 AM
Well they might have seen something became of which they are falling back in love with bitcoin. Anyway it's a good news for us. Jesus if we get more user we will have more competition and clever trader could make much more  profit

I'm not sure about trading because from my experience it's not so easy to profit from it. Even if you are a clever trader it is very unlikely that you'd manage to get profit which is over 2% of invested money per day. Which means you should risk 1 BTC to get 0.02 BTC profit. Yes, you'd probably never lose the whole 1 BTC even in the worst case scenario, but to lose 0.1 BTC is easy because even established altcoins might have the volatility around 10% during a day.

But I agree that overall it is a good news for Bitcoin holders because the more Bitcoin is accepted the higher the price of it in USD.
