We need a VPN/XMR pair on Poloniex.

BTW Bittrex does not have a wallet generate for VPN.

@All,
Please support VpnCoin to poloniex:

https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest

Thanks.

Done!

Difficulty went from 53110219 to 1017604313 in just a couple of hours...

Switch your botnet over?

I don't run a botnet, I use company resources, Sugon cluster (300 nodes, around 300kh/s). I dont think this is a botnet, the diff went up too  fast, someone might be manipulating the diff. algo ...
How? BTW isn't Sugon software like Beowulf? Or did you mean  Sugon blade server?

Yes, I'm not sure what the bottleneck is.

Querying thousands or millions of payment IDs does not slow down simplewallet. Maybe their database is slowed down if the amount of deposit addresses (or payment IDs for Cryptonotes) gets too high. I'm not sure.

They say they intend to re-implement the feature and hopefully they do soon.

Turns out it was a javascript being blocked. I'm getting dumber everyday. Smiley

hxg3+ (languagehasmeaning)

I don't understand this?

h5 with the plan of 40.Kf2 h4 followed by hxg3+ taking advantage of the fact that f4 is only defended by the pawn on g3. Centralizing our king is important but exchanging a potentially weak pawn now should help us. With this plan the g3 pawn should be easier to attack in the future than h2 is now since our knight can potentially attack g3 from more squares.

This was the reasoning languagehasmeaning posted before and why I will also vote for the move.

Thx, I guess he's forced for the pawn swap this should be interesting. Back to the gallery, I revoke my vote.

I don't have a bittrex account to see that, I assume you mean there is no option to make a new Payment ID?

Poloniex did that recently as well for all currencies and they said it was due to abuse. On Polo, you can still generate a new deposit address or payment ID directly via the API though.

Polo support said this to me the other day.

The feature on the website could be abused and we had to remove it, we are going to implement it again in the near future tho.

Thanks, appreciate the info. Smiley

There is no wallet generate on https://bittrex.com/Balance .

Anyone know why?

Really been alot of work going on.

https://bittrex.com/Balance

Why does the page say free VPN though? I thought that is what the coins are for, to pay for the vpn?

If he doesn't give you the information you require then just sit back and ignore him after stating that fact.

Insinuating I am an idiot for asking. Go reread the thread again.

I said numerous times they could carry on without me, but you can read the thread and see he continued to try to stick it to me that monsterer understood and I didn't. I know monsterer was just trying to guess what the design is. That is not the same as a holistic understanding. If Fuserleer doesn't call me dumb for asking "can anyone understand what Fuserleer described?", then none of the drama occurred.

I even said numerous times that I was not demanding he provide any details before he was ready. Monsterer was asking for a summary. I was expressing that the summary was ambiguous because my intellect (and experience in designing consensus for crypto) is high enough to know that there are details that I need to know which have not been provided.

Get your facts straight.

Yes, but you also have missed the part where I stated those that matter have seen this as well and those that haven't don't matter. Wink

BTW, added to above post, this thread is moving fast.
11174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DECENTRALIZED crypto currency (including Bitcoin) is a delusion (any solutions?) on: January 12, 2016, 02:20:28 PM
Too much non productive name calling and hand waving. You guys are adults and you look like school kids. Anonymint has a point but cannot civilly state it. Fuserleer is beating around the bush but was just being coy IMO (I think monsterer was just playing alone to get all the info) and this has just escalated into a mud slinging contest which is in no-ones interest.

TPTB, take a breath and stop letting this shit get to you, we see your under alot of stress but getting worked up about it is detrimental to both your body and mind which (as you have stated) is not at peak.

Fuserleer is correct in stating that you started this thread for discussion of all avenues and not just yours. So he is within the purview of that umbrella to make his case for his thoughts being analyzed as well as anyone elses. If he doesn't give you the information you require then just sit back and ignore him after stating that fact. Those that matter are capable of following this thread and those that aren't, well are not worth the effort to be perfectly frank.

I see no reason why Monsterer cannot continue coaxing Fuserleer's methodology (even if it's morphing while being discussed) because as you have stated "The goal is to solve this problem". Let those two discuss that on a sidechain until it gets to a point where you have the information you need to make a critical analysis.

Personally I would like to see CFB back in hear and hear more on the tangle debate as I have not seen his retort to the inevitability of the tangle diverging. That sounds like a game changer to me and if true will make IOTA a complete waste off effort as well as time and resources. Unless it is just a money grab which in that case it seems to be working.

AFA your (Anonymint) arguments that this is an impossible task that has no solution well I think you are jumping to a conclusion, even though I cannot follow all your arguments (I'm a dumbass) I believe there is always a solution as long as the problem can be defined. And if anyone can solve these issues you have raised I believe you have the capability to do it. I would also recommend getting all this into one whitepaper so anyone jumping in can be brought up to speed on your thoughts without you having to jump around linking your scattered posts every few posts. I think you need a technical secretary to organize all this information as it looks like that may be time consuming. Get an apprentice.

Anyway thanks for the debate so far guys, I was intrigued and enjoying it until it dissolved into a pissing contest of childish proportions.

Added:
...Btw, both he and Tom Hedges stated they were amazed how productive I was. The first day on the job I had constructed a massive printer driver testing suite and had fixed the printer driver issues in Painter for the Windows version. But I was also younger, healthier, more energetic, more willing to work on stuff that I didn't necessarily have to believe so strongly in to be inspired. As we get older, we become much more selective about what drives our passion, because we have less energy to give (or at least that is the case for me perhaps because I am burnt out on my life's wild journey)....

True that, many forums I won't lean forward to get the keyboard nor bother to goto anymore.
11175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [neㄘcash, ᨇcash, net⚷eys, or viᖚes?] Name AnonyMint's vapor coin? on: January 11, 2016, 02:52:17 PM
how do you get this much attention is beyond my grasp

I'll disappear again soon as I did from Jan 3 to Jan 10. There is either coding to do or time to quit crypto.

I am in burst here to speak my mind freely before I go quiet (or quit entirely). I am dumping all my insights at one time. I am in burst mode to determine if I have any design worth continuing. And at the same time, if I notice something in another thread where I think I have some very credible insight to offer, then I am doing so as a service to the community and also to document what my positions were/are (for posterity or what ever purpose it might serve).

Perhaps I am getting some attention because all of us are still hoping for a real solution to SUSTAINABLE, DECENTRALIZED, PERMISSIONLESS commerce. Which does not exist in anything yet, not even including Bitcoin. There is a lot of bullshit claiming otherwise and I am making the case that it is all bullshit. Feel free to try to refute me if you can.

If it appears in any way that I don't value human relationships, cordiality, civility, humility, etc.. then I apologize. I do value these things, but I also value being inspired about paradigmatic, technical revolutions which require frank truth, not bullshit. Many here will want to pursue projects and investments in the same way they have invested in other businesses, and because they do not comprehend without the End-to-End Principle then we would not have the internet, then they also appear to not comprehend that they are investing in nonsense. Only End-to-End Principled protocols will scale and be widely adopted. Period. If you don't understand why, then feel free to ask me to elaborate if you want to. If you disagree, then feel free to ignore me, criticize me, or refute me. Any way we are all free to speak our mind.

I guess you are saying I am being too loud and hogging the forum. I will go quiet soon.

I'm enjoying your "Burst" mode, but I think it's a manic episode. either way do what you want he always has the option of the ignore button. Smiley

If you register a VPS with the code MONERO at InterServer, first month is 1 CENT!

https://interserver.net/dock/vps-231552.html

After that it's just $6 per month which is really cheap. Got a node syncing there now.

Let's get these high uptime nodes over 100! GO GO GO

I'm rather lazy. Is there a simple 1 click bundle to install? I just can't be bothered these days. Sad

Hey man, I'm not sure but it looks like you may be entering a manic phase. I'd suggest you step back for a few and slow down. Have a beer and do a self check.

In truth I am having a hard time following you guys but it is good reading.
11179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 08, 2016, 09:44:49 PM
I'm selling custom built miners. Or I can build them and run them in my basement for a fee. Or you can just send me monero and I'll keep mining monero. Something with mining. I know of at least 2 individuals that have hardware that they have silent because their electricity costs are too high and/or they can't find a place to house their stuff.

and eventually I'll have this monerodo device done which I'll be selling for monero, obviously. Now I'm debating if I should have the software update via github pull / compile or just download "official" binaries. Thoughts? I could also just have it checkout some version... though I've found it a pain to un-checkout things, or go back to head or whatever.

oh yeah. I speculate bananas.

Just curious, what's the cost of the miners you are building, and how are they different from say, your average mining computer?

honestly all I would be doing is building a computer with as many GPUs as can fit on the board. The most PCI slots available on a mobo these days is 6 or 7. The trick to building these things is finding a case to put them in with proper airflow, but thats ultimately what you'd be paying me to do. And then making the mining software work and the pool software (so you could mine on your own node and get ALL OF THE BLOCK). Otherwise you could just throw one together yourself.

Don't quote me, but I think I could sell a 1.6 kh/s rig for $1200.

edited to add: which after 1 year (or whenever your done) you could then pull apart and sell the GPUs on ebay for probably 70%.

I WILL QUOTE YOU! Tongue

And this is what I did, it has the added convenience of small footprint storage and/or shipping when disassembled. Great cooling and easy access to boot.

...

Are GPUs more economical than a multicore Xeon (Phi or whatever) CPU?

Funny that it may turn out that way with the new miner (I don't know) since I just sold my last gpu a week ago after a year of them being listed. Lol

Very nice, needs button to switch to XMR and whatever other currency you will accept.

There is a "switch" under the the currency icons. And there is a choice at checkout. But i get that it needs to be shown more clearly Smiley
As i said there is much work to be done yet!

Great! I don't have my reading glasses with me, checking it out now. Smiley

Also if you have any solid gold hunter cases in the 16-18s range pm prices. Inners unnecessary.
