I plan on holding mine long term. Smiley
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZRX price on: October 11, 2017, 06:09:31 PM
It is one of the coins I want to invest on...funds are locked in other coins right now but once I get some...this is one of a few next in line.

Don't worry...it has lots of potential and I envy you for catching it a great price.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please suggest good dPOS coin/token (or POS w/o running nodes) on: October 11, 2017, 04:05:02 PM
LSK is on my list also.  Don't have any yet but next on the list.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY I am staying away from KIK-KIN ICO on: October 11, 2017, 03:12:52 PM
from another thread...

It's the best and best ICO in recent times.

I am surprised people aren't talking about this. I guess everybody wants a 100x and very few care about 10-15x

This company has been around for ages, and has apps on all devices and millions of daily users.

Plus, they are frequent with their news, so it will keep bumping the market up.

THANK GOD, I had registered for their token sale.

1 ETH = 1,973,581 KIN

I got about a fifth ($50) of that so that's 394716 or so

Even if it reaches 1 CENT (which it will easily) - that's $3900 - I am golden already!

Are you golden yet? Wink   Sorry Cheesy
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [RPX] Red Pulse Speculation on: October 11, 2017, 02:58:27 PM
These guys handle things pretty good, don't they?

This is the first ICO based on NEO, even NEO is a quite new thing, then the problems are expected. The way they handle that increase my confidence in the tokens.

Now I am a bit regret that I did not put in more money.  Roll Eyes

I placed all NEO I've got (all in)...my regret is they did not accept it :p LOL
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Please suggest good dPOS coin/token (or POS w/o running nodes) on: October 11, 2017, 02:53:27 PM
I have ARK (generates ARK) and NEO (generates GAS) and want to add more coins that does the same w/o continuously running my computer.  Anyone know of other similar good coins?

Thank you.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: October 11, 2017, 02:22:45 PM
They can't really control those Chinese people that really want to keep investing in ICOs anyways. They can make it harder, but not impossible.

True.  I heard most of them are running bootleg VPN to get crypto, news, etc..  LOL
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antshares/ NEO [NEO] on: October 11, 2017, 01:46:53 PM
Anyone else have problems sending their NEO? I have 72 antshares in my balance but I can only send 2, why is that and how can I fix it?

Hey, what wallet are you using? I'm using the neo-gui wallet, and everything seems to be working fine Smiley

Yeah that one

Strange. Everything seems to work for me. Although it does take a while to start the application at times..

Im gonna download a new wallet and see if that works, i don't really have faith in antshares' customer support

Let me know if it works. Would like to know, as it is very annoying that the application doesn't start sometimes Smiley

Other than the RPX sale, I never transferred anything out of the GUI-NEO wallet yet.

That said, since I used the same wallet address as the NEON wallet (imported to GUI-NEO), I can actually use either the GUI-NEO or NEON wallet.  Just FYI in case you did the same.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Pulse (RPX) just destroyed themselves - Worst ICO ever! on: October 11, 2017, 01:34:33 PM
This is why I no longer invest in ICOs, it's drama central. Easier to wait until price drops on an exchange and pick up a bargain.

The question is, will this happen?  I will wait and grab some if it does, but I honestly doubt it will go down near the ICO price.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: October 11, 2017, 01:10:41 PM
Was really interested but the Chinese ICO ban killed everything
Not really. Chinese ICO ban doesn't matter.

Since the RPX "sale" (note not ICO) went trough...I believe there is no HARD ban really as many mentioned.  It is the FUDers who are spreading the ban rumor while the actual news says it is a temporary measure so the Gov't can stop the SCAM ICOs.  In case of China...they want to control cryptocurrency market in China as a whole.  Sad for the Chinese but it shouldn't affect most of us outside China much after things stabilized.

Personally I like that they are filtering the scams (just this portion)...there are so many coins to choose from now anyway that we can be choosy now to just let good/real ones in.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [RPX] Red Pulse Speculation on: October 10, 2017, 08:41:48 PM
My rejected RPX purchase is now refunded.  I have my NEO back Smiley

===== The email ===============

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXX,

We have now completed the RPX sale refund process. A few statistics:

    4,213 total refunds distributed
    Total NEO: 970,085 NEO
    Largest refund: 2165 NEO
    Smallest refund: 1 NEO
    Average refund: 230 NEO

The refunds came from NEO address:
ANFqwASLDLHeyz4PK4e37qCzsEb4dxZmAb

There may be additional erroneous NEO transactions that are sent to our RPX sale address. We cannot control this. As policy, we will continue to refund any transactions sent to the RPX sale process until October 15, 2017 (0900 EDT / 1300 GMT / 2100 HKT), exactly 1 week after the start of the RPX sale. Any contributions made to the RPX sale address after that time will be considered a donation to Red Pulse, and will not be returned.

As mentioned previously, we will also be refunding the GAS generated on the held NEO over the past ~50 hours between the RPX sale conclusion and the refund. All refunds were processed within an hour of each other. Thus as simple calculation, the GAS in the RPX sale wallet will be distributed to addresses that received refunds, proportional to the NEO that was returned. We will be refunding the GAS over the next few days.

Again for those that had trouble accessing and submitting our RPX Purchase Agreement, please do so now. There is no need to submit again, if you have already done so.

1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK will be as big as ETH and NEO on: October 10, 2017, 08:39:22 PM
I have lots of ARK and have faith on it but as many said...I don't think it is on the same league as NEO much less ETH.

By the time ARK reaches $20, NEO will probably be $300, ETH is $1,000...and...BTC is around $10K Cheesy
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alts? on: October 10, 2017, 07:19:41 PM
guys...alts are bleeding ? great discounts going on, which are tempting ...but since btc gold on oct 25th and later nov first week btc hardfork coming...so ppl move their stash from alts to btc to get free money as result of fork.... so is it right time to jump in or wait few more weeks and buy right before fork? share your thoughts
Some of us are mourning since we bought at the wrong time when the values where still high, now we are loosing on our investments. Now it would have been the right time to buy , and I think they might even go lower, seems like a lot of investors are dumping their alts for bitcoin gold.

I think now you should just keep a closer eye on the market, do not jump in now since they might even go lower than this. I think it would be wise to buy in few days before the fork. I don't know whether to dump my alts and buy in again just before the fork or what? Huh

I believe the lowest points for alts last BTC fork was about two weeks before...which is around this time for this fork.  It is hard to time the market and every fork is different so take it for what it is worth (which is nothing LOL) Wink
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins should you HODL? on: October 10, 2017, 06:26:59 PM
I only have 14 coins/tokens now because of my budgetary constraints.  I can easily increase it to 30 or more good coins/tokens if I have the funds.  For now, I prioritize based on what I know/believe.

Out of that 14, 3 coins dominate my portfolio and represent 80% of it.

Do not feel obliged to target a certain number of coins if you do not see that many you believe in.
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Plunging on: October 10, 2017, 06:05:54 PM
Most altcoins are basically just good for being pumped and that is the only advantage they add to the community anyway. Just the ability to trade them with BTC for profit while capitalizing on their pumps. No one believes in them and the future they have, unless we just do not want to face fact and that is why it became so easy for everyone to dump them pretty fast to at least have some bitcoins instead.

Sorry but I disagree.  BTC is king now and probably for a long time still but it will eventually be dethroned...likely by one of these altcoins.

You know why BTC is forking so many times?  Because it is obsolete and it is trying hard to evolve and catch up.  Tech wise, most coins are much better than it now...it is just the first.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Plunging on: October 10, 2017, 05:55:04 PM
Best time to buy altcoins...actually the best time passed already (many are now in the green) but still a great time to buy! Smiley
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [RPX] Red Pulse Speculation on: October 10, 2017, 03:12:04 PM
RPX = $10 each when on exchange, easy.
This is just stupid. I bought RPX on ICO too. If it reaches $10, everyone who invested $1000 in the ICO will make a profit of $350,000. This is not possible at all. This would take the market cap to over 5billion for a company that raised only 15 million. I would be happy if it goes 10x from ICO price.

He probably mean x10...not $10. Smiley

Good news...

=====================================

Dear XXXXXXXX,

We are continuing with our refund process, thank you for your patience. Many have asked about the GAS that is being generated while we hold your NEO. We will be returning this to you as well, as calculated by how much was generated over the past few days since the RPX sale. The GAS refund will take place after the NEO refund has completely finished.

For those that were unable to access the RPX Sale Purchase Agreement, we have put it back online here: https://coin.red-pulse.com/rpx-pa-1082017/

If you had trouble accessing or submitting the form earlier, please do so now.

1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: October 10, 2017, 01:12:14 PM
Wait and see as the current price is very high

no it's not, it's pretty cheap actually. All alts have been dumping since 2 days, but in a few days NEO will be up 30% at least and only go up from there. News and roadmap are amazing, team very solid, FUD from China is BS and will be cleared up after chinese congress in october 18th. You won't see NEO under 50k again, it will be around 100k very soon.

No one can predict the future but I agree that the price now is very attractive.  At least buy some and spread the purchase if you are buying lots.  I think/hope it shoots up (again) after the Chinese congress meet.

I would buy more if I am not too NEO heavy on my portfolio already (almost 50%).  Even if I have extra cash (and I don't) Cheesy  As it is, I am "locked in" since I believe in all of my current coins and can't sell any of them.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: October 10, 2017, 01:50:03 AM
well I got in. First round was clean
I don't think you can say it was clean if people got screwed over for participating pretty much exactly on time...

The original poster was talking about the first round.
From my experience and monitoring the slack during the first round (first hour) it was as smoothly as could be; other than some issues with the Neon wallet. The wallet issues were expected for such a fresh integration.

While on the slack, I didn’t see anyone elude to being ‘screwed over’ in the first hour.
Those that played by the rules and in the right timeframe were accepted.
I saw 2 posters talking about how they posted too early and due to that didn’t receive any coins.
But the start time for the first hour wasn’t delayed and if it appeared to be - people were following an incorrect clock.

The second round (second hour) I have no defenses for... other than they are trying to do their best to rectify.

Don't know about you but the email was 40 minutes late then the link to get the hash code did not work for me and many others.  That is why Red Pulse emailed the code later on (past the start time).  That was a few minutes in the 1st hour.  The delay did not become a major issue because of the $1,000 limit and there was more than enough for for all the participants on the 1st round.

Both had issues..but the 2nd is really a major one...eliminating people who submitted on time (because of the devs fault) is not acceptable.
