Yes you can mine with them, but I would go with a 7970, but pls compare yourself: http://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

is 300 a good price for these 7950s?

Sorry for us in germany its quite expensive. Youll get 7970 for that price here easy.

i wish i am in usa seems like 300 for a 7950 is a good deal

Well I would try to mine or trade some cheap coins and get yourself a amazon gift card with cryptos. Or similar card for othere US based hardware stores. But 300$ is a lot of real money.

How do we handle that ?

Not many miners have that problem, but some...... Any news from the devs ?

May I ask again ?

HAHAHAHAHA !  You guys are so dumb! Dumped the coin to death 1 satoshi.

Ok wait Ill ask to open EMU / LTC Market, then you can get it down to 0.0001 sat or lower ....

What a bunch of......
+1
my +10

And why are you surprised? This happens with every coin hitting an exchange. Even doge was selling at 1 sat.  If the coin is good at something it will recover .

Sorry, but I was there since day one of doge, and doge NEVER hit 1 Sat. It started with 50 Sat and moved fast up, then it fell down to 25 sat.....
So dont tell me that it happens with every coin. Stupid bullshit. (http://www.coinwarz.com/exchange-charts/dogecoin-exchange-rate-chart)

We, the miners are the shareholders of the coin. It is in our power to get the most for it. The error is in the brains of the dumpers. Mine - dump - next coin. They will kill the altcryptos. End of story.

That is very interesting to see pool operator complaining about price Smiley
I thought you are happy with fees and dont care much about actual mining..

Anyway, I dont think it is "dumpers" or whoever that kills coin.. it is all just about demand and supply.. and if there is such big supply at the moment that surpases demand, price just must fall until they match
nobody would be dumping if they saw strong demand for the coin.. but if there is no demand.. then nobody wants to hold it, nor mine it...

Everyone wants to mine and sell for high price.. but who is buying at high price? Why should they? If coin is not promising or lacks promo, then you cant blaim anyone but devs for releasing fail coin.. and if you think price should be "much higher", then just buy buy and buy.. there is lot of "cheap" coins, so buy them, if you think they are undervalued..

As all our pools are 0% fee, I can complain because I mine with my own rigs in the pools to get something out of it Wink

Thats what I ment, there is no demand for new coins. Only reason is mine and sell, next coin.
There is BTC and thats enough for paying online, at the store or sending money fast around the world. No need for altcoins other then make some money.

Its just plain stupid to sell at 1 satoshi as it won even cover the costs for mining it. But as long ppl dont count and calculate there is no hope for something oter.

Mike, any idea, why I still see at poolerino much lower speeds at "workers" than at vertminers?
I have in total around 5 mhs at nscrypt (10 scrypt) but in poolerino dashboard and in workers settings as well I only see like 60% of I should get.. that means around 3 mhs.. never spotted higher rate there and checked it like 5x since yesterday...
any idea? Is your pool counting correctly?
Balance also is not as high as should be with 5 mhs.. so seems to me only around those 3 mhs are hitting your pool..
in vertminers seems everything OK.. almost no rejects or HW errors...

With Vertminer or scrypt-n you get around 50% of normal scrypt hash, thats normal.

I think he means that his rigs say he is mining at 5 MH, but the pool reports much less. I have the same issue. I know pool stats are not always so accurate, but at Poolerino the number seems MUCH further away from the truth than usual. I have 2.8MH, but the pool always reports around 2.1MH

Ok got you now. That depends on the configuration of the pool. We only show VALID sended shares, not the shares your vertminer shows.
Plus: In the Pool dashboard, we only show the middle of all valid send share of the last 3 minutes, so its not realtime.

This is quite normal, but if you want I can print our your valid shares we got in our database and you can compare with your vertminer logs.
Pls contact me via mail : admin@poolerino.com, Ill send you the valid shares and blocklist.

Greetings, Mike

Mike, so how do I know if my vertminer is sending valid shares? I think what is in shown as accepted in vert miner should be also accepted by your pool, isnt that? I have almost no rejects or HW errors..

Anyway, result at poolerino was only 1.2 mils for 22 hours of mining at what I beleive +- 5 mhs, basically all my mining power which is 10 mhs scrypt.. but it showed only around 3.2 mhs at poolerino all the time.. so yesterday I swithched over emu.oakpool.com but with only 6.5 mhs scrypt, which should be around 3.3 mhs nfactor, and for 14 hours of mining I minted 1 mil... so there is something wrong with poolerino I think..
Sure, diff fell little bit but from +- 15 yesterday to todays 10.. but I minted almost same amount with nearly half speed and in nearly half time...

Well I dont know if you can calculate a lotto coin in such small timeframe.
Within only 24 hours it can be that the other pool found some more blocks due to the hashing power of its miners or just the luck factor.
Plus, as block reward is not fixed amount, the other pool has found maybe more blocks in that short time and with more block reward.

If you want to compare 2 pools with so much luck or lets call it randomness in one coin, you def. have to choose a wider time range.

I worked for online casinos long time, we had roulette tables that had days with 20+ times red in a row. At the end of the year it was 50:50 again.

Aliencoin is so cheap, you are able to build a massive holding. This coin is defiantly worth investing in if you have spare funds, I would expect to see it added to coinmarketcap shortly

The chance is there, just ask coinmarketcap, as swisscex.com has an api

Godd luck!

Yes, we have almost no hashrate on the dev pools, helping the devs help the coin.

DEV POOLS:

http://dredd.cryptocredits.org/ - OFFICIAL POOL
http://masseffect.cryptocredits.org/ - OFFICIAL POOL
http://deusex.cryptocredits.org/ - OFFICIAL POOL
http://batmanbeyond.cryptocredits.org/ - OFFICIAL POOL
http://cr.verleta.net/ - POOL BY DEV, %0 FREE UNTIL SUNDAY, EVENTS (SUCH AS %0 SPRING BREAK)

Also, what are some marketing ideas that we, as a community, can use to market Credits?

Se my post above you. We the non "dev pools" but donation pools also contribute our donations fully to the coin. It might be less then the 1.5% the dev pools offer but with more hashes and donators it would also help.

1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS: Marketplace ¤ Custom Wallets ¤ FAIR ¤ KGW on: March 06, 2014, 05:46:52 PM
This coin is dying on the vine.  In theory, an escalating block reward is a good idea, but for most people (i.e., the serial coin hoppers), there's no reason to mine it until the block reward nears its peak.  That harms early adopters, because the block reward right now is just a fraction of what it'll be then.  Anticipated difficulty isn't enough to bridge that gap.

I would halve the number of scheduled block reward increases and make them twice as frequent.  That toes the line between having a basis to insert new life into the coin (reward doubled!) and not completely screwing the people like me who have stuck with it up to this point in the face of waning interest.

The other problem with this coin is that the block reward is incredibly discouraging in the face of a statement that there will be 20 bazillion coins overall.  Anyone who doesn't take the time to actually read the thread sees DOGE-like total coin figures against a block reward in the hundreds, thousands, or low tens of thousands max and thinks, "Well, I missed the boat, I won't bother with this."

Most ppl forget the diff. As soon the bigger blockreward kicks in, the diff will rise, so is the number of miners.

Right now with low blockreward only few are mining and stacking coins. With more diff + more miners = the number of coins you get for your hash drops.

Ppl complaining now, and they did it in our chatbox clearly say:
"F*ck this coin! I want coins now, sell, make money and next coin, thats what we want......"

Sad but true
Mike
