People see Bitcoin as an investment for future rather than spending it for buying goods. It will take time for open bazaar to succeed. In future, it may become like ebay or any other online shopping website

Thats a great news. So it means Bitcoin is accepted as a currency by the government. So it cant be declared as illegal there. I hope governments of all nations will follow this process. It shows Bitcoin can no more be avoided in the world.

Usually newbie posts are not worthful when compared to higher rank posts. Morovest newbie ,first newbie should learn about Bitcoin. They should be patient until their rank increases to member, senior member,etc.

My plan is to initially earn bitcoins through signature campaigns and when my earning reaches a considerable amout, start trading in Bitcoin/Altcoins.

Already heard  a lot of posts like this, better use some other words. Bitcoin has faced lot of tough times, still it succeeds. On the other hand, we can say Altcoins may die.

Bitcoin is also used for illegal activities, but dollar and other currencies are also used like that. The governments and bankers try to find a way to ban bitcoins but the truth is they cant since US govt also tried its best to ban bitcoin and it failed

Although Bitfinex was hacked , still Bitcoin finds its support among people.

Undoubtedly, Bitcoin would be the future currency of the world

It will not make a big difference, but alt coins have helped bitcoin become popular. Altcoins are used to buy bitcoins. Without altcoins, bitcoin prices would go much higher and we would have only option of trading in Bitcoin/US Dollars

Since you have said small amount, start trading by buying altcoins.

Buy at cheaper rates and when price increases, sell it.

Since you invest a small amount first, even if there is a loss, it will be smaller.

You would get good experience about trading in future.

If you have low investment, you can trade Bitcoin/Altcoins, and even if you loose, it will be smaller.

On the otherhand, trading in Bitcoin/US Dollars, considerable investment is needed. Since the prices are not so fluctuating, profit will be less.

      Well Bitcoin has a great future. Bitcoin projected price for 2017 is very high. It would be accepted as payment method by major companies in future. But i heard that quantum computing is to be introduced after  15 to 20 years and it could break the blockchain mechanism. It may be an end to bitcoin. But let us hope the best

Just invest handsome amount in bitcoins and wait untill bitcoin prices booms high.Thats the only way i could suggest you since you are not interested in trading.

          I would pickup gold because bitcoin is the future currency.

   Having money in bitcoin as savings is highly risky due to large fluctuations in its price.

Yes Bitcoin is a good investment  since it has a great future and it is called the future of currency. Meanwhile, prices are expected to go high in 2017.

I dont know whether farmers would release their own cryptocurrencies in future, but already there are large number of crypto currencies and if it  increases, it would lead to a huge confusion and decline of crypto currencies.

In my idea,  invest some bitcoins and start trading.But remember to do a thorough market survey because trading involves huge risks
