1121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin way back to 700's by this november ? on: November 03, 2015, 02:49:49 PM
I am pretty much satisfied with the current BTC price ,but  something makes me feel it will cross 700 by this november .
so it's up 50$ in a day , 370~ according to http://preev.com/

No one can know that but I will do a pray (even I don't believe in God) to arrive at least at 600.  Wink It will be a big achievement even this amount. But I think that the most important thing, and even much more important than the arrive of that price, is the stability in any kind of price can arrive. Going high and seeing going again down (even fast) is painful. Seems like bitcoin have no power to stay in high levels.
1122  Economy / Economics / Re: Forgoten Greece on: November 03, 2015, 02:25:52 PM
Right  n2004al,

everything in this world must me a conspiracy to verify your bias. You kinda remind me of those people that try to prove the existence of god by holy numbers that are supposedely everywhere and such imaginary things. I don't usually resort to ad hominems but I find no motivation to attempt reasoning with someone like you. Your posts are lengthy, but your ability to provide logical counter arguments is minimal, letting your racism, hate bigotry, financial and political illiteracy slip through.

Words, words and only words. Or fake facts (shame on you). Needed facts, facts and again facts to be credible. No one of my facts is fake like yours. Anyone who don't have deep knowledge about the case we are discussing can be easily prey of your fake facts or your "fair" and "intelligent" words.

It is funny to see that you accuse me with the desire to prove the existence of god by holy numbers. When this thing is you who try to do telling only words, words, words and giving fake facts to cheat who have no knowledge about this case. Who use holy numbers to prove something: me with my facts (links) or you with your words and your fake links.

You cannot reasoning with me because have no facts to do this. And use words trying to hide behind those yourself, your "big" words about my racism and all the other your "big discoveries" about my mind and my posts. I am able to write thousands words without telling nothing with those, like you do, but I prefer to write only words based on the facts. This is my only way to express my thoughts.

Which of my facts is fake (like your links)? Show me those to prove to me and to who read our posts that I'm wrong. Like your pretend with your words, words, words.

Which of my words is racism like you pretend? You don't know the meaning of the word "racism". I will continue even in this case with the facts and not with words like you do.

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary the meaning of racism is: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/racism

1. poor treatment of or violence against people because of their race
2. the belief that some races of people are better than others

or full definition of "racism":

1. a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2. racial prejudice or discrimination

Find in my words such things and I will try to defend myself.

Attention: You must refer only to my words and only to those. Not to your possible interpretations of my words. The interpretations will be always only yours. Seeing your posts I am able to understand how can be an your interpretation. How can be an interpretation made from your "superior" mind (I'm referring exactly to the following sentence when consider your mind "superior": You kinda remind me of those people that try to prove the existence of god by holy numbers that are supposedely everywhere and such imaginary things. In other words all my posts are full of holy numbers  Huh. Yours with facts.  Huh).

Remember: I'm responsible only for my words and the facts connected with those. I can do interpretations of everything I have wrote based on the facts given on my posts or others that I can have or find.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware, the best thing that has happened to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2015, 01:38:17 PM
This is disgusting.

Scammers are scammers, they can be avoided.

But just brutal hackers like this virusing PC's is just horrible.

We need a better operating system, windows is just a pure crap that can be exploited in so many ways.
Well, I heard that linux is pretty safe but in my country not many people are using it because people find it strange to use it Sad
Well personally, i never use linux in my whole life before so i don't know how it works Roll Eyes
Linux can be safe but it isn't 100%. If the adoption rate grows, criminal would be targeting linux systems too. The reason that hackers target windows is because of its widespread adoption. I personally use Windows and it is much more familiar to me than Ubuntu.

Correct. Agree completely. Windows is a very good system. Has about 30 years of life and development. Cannot be wrong something with this life and with an army of developers, programmers and various staff (making hundred of kind developments connected with it) who work continuously to improve it. There are update every month and new versions every about 5-6 years. I think that cannot be another os better than it. The only reason of its problems is that is very spread in all the world and is target of everyone who want to see the value of itself.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo who wants a free million bitcoins? on: November 03, 2015, 08:54:49 AM

Not sure why armory is showing me this beautiful amount of bitcoins but it is. Don't worry they are unspendable lol Already tried to send myself a few million.

Has this ever happened to any of you?

To me never. Fortunately. Because it will be a very hard thing for me to confront the inability to own even part of those. I would be in front of my computer for hours and hours only to find a way to send some of those to another my wallet. Then i will do the good guy and will notify the support of the above wallet about this case.  Wink

Everything written above by me is a hidden desire. But the first thing I would do (after only two-three times of trying to send some of those elsewhere only to see if this was possible but not to own those) it would be the ticket to support asking the why of this event. Maybe they might give me some of those to honor my good behavior.
1125  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Declared Illegal In Taiwan on: November 03, 2015, 08:42:04 AM
The Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) has declared Bitcoin to be illegal in Taiwan, following a recent high-profile kidnapping accident involving ransom demands made in Bitcoin.

What do you think about this? They banned bitcoin because 1 kidnapping case, while there are many kidnapping case with their fiat, or is it just a reason to ban bitcoin in taiwan.
Bitcoin adoption is taiwan is really good, and shows big potential. But now bitcoin has been banned Sad

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-declared-illegal-in-taiwan/

This is absurd. Must be another hidden reason that bitcoin is declared as illegal. It is crazy to think that the gangsters will stop their illegal activity because of this action of the Taiwan Authorities. I think that for sure it is a way to deviate the attention of the people from the fact happened. I cannot find another reasonable justification. Maybe they think that asking bitcoin the kidnappers will have more possibility to hide their money but this cannot be possible. Every transaction it is showed in blockchain and, if followed, can be monitored and blocked and founded the owner. Even if is used the tor browser. Otherwise how was possible everything happened with Ross Ulbricht. The Authorities find him and him's bitcoins.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: Forgoten Greece on: November 03, 2015, 07:03:46 AM
Clearly you are biased against Greece and the elected government there, but your ignorance doesn't help. See, the domino effect theory about the eurozone has been in discussion long before Varoufakis or Tsipras were part of the Government in Greece.

http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052748704548604575098070967027554

I could just keep posting links (as you do) proving my point, and negating your notion that I just keep repeating what Syriza says but there really is no point doing that as the message has already gotten across.

You must be without doubt Greek. Because only those are able to act by trickery like you. All the articles in your links are made during the years 2010-2011 when your scenario had big probabilities to be verified. Even I believe that even in our days can be some other article which support again this idea you were not able to find those. In this case you (and who want my answer) must read my above post and find my answer. It is in the fourth paragraph.

But in the this year the above scenario mentioned and defended by you is not more possible. Because of help given to the Greece during the last 5 years. My article about this problem (given above) is made in October 31, 2015. I am giving below some rows from it:

What if Greece left the eurozone?

At the height of the debt crisis a few years ago, many experts worried that Greece’s problems would spill over to the rest of the world. If Greece defaulted on its debt and exited the eurozone, they argued, it might create global financial shocks bigger than the collapse of Lehman Brothers did.

Now, however, some people believe that if Greece were to leave the currency union, in what is known as a “Grexit,” it wouldn’t be such a catastrophe. Europe has put up safeguards to limit the so-called financial contagion, in an effort to keep the problems from spreading to other countries. Greece, just a tiny part of the eurozone economy, could regain financial autonomy by leaving, these people contend — and the eurozone would actually be better off without a country that seems to constantly need its neighbors’ support.

I'm giving again the link of this article of New Your Times for everyone who want to know the latest news about the Greek crisis:  http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/business/international/greece-debt-crisis-euro.html?_r=1

As for me I'm not biasing no one. I am telling only the truth about the Greeks as a people, about their Governments during their story and their habit (as people and Governments) to create wealth with the money of the others and then pretend not only to not give the money to the owners but even to have other money and for more without conditions from those. Like the modern gangsters. I'm giving facts about these things. You have facts which overturn mines? If yes give those.

Again below the link which show that this kind of situation for the Greece, its people and its Governments is repeated for the 6th time since the time where Greece announces its independence and became the sovereign country we know today; and the 7th time since its existence as a people.

I repeat that Greece has spent 90 years of its 194 years as a country in default or debt restructuring, that’s nearly 50%. This is shameful.

The facts are stubborn. They give right to me. Below again the link who show their story as a storical borrower people leaded by cheaters Leaders: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/a-brief-history-of-financial-crises-in-greece-214114194.html

From the above link:

2004:

The European commission issues a warning to Greece after discovering the country lied about budget deficit data prior to joining the eurozone.

Who want comments about this?

Repeat. Do you have facts which overturn my facts? But right facts. Not devious ones.

At the end read the post of "the_poet" above to understand better the actually needs and the "smartness" of the Greeks.
1127  Economy / Economics / Re: Forgoten Greece on: November 02, 2015, 07:13:09 PM
The government is collaborating with the institutions to find a way to make deposits taken away from Greek banks by depositors to return, tax authorities are going through records to see who could have been cheating etc. It's all a very big effort to keep the banking system from collapsing, a system that has been proven to be non feasible numerous times in the past. If it weren't for the domino effect this could have caused to the rest of the world no one would have been helping Greece imo.

Who told you the part in bold and in red?
Not just politicians but established economists from all over the world have agreed on this. Letting Greece go bankrupt could kick start a domino phenomenon sending ripples to worldwide financial markets. The Eurozone depends on stability to survive, if one member outright refused to pay debts and decides to exit the monetary union, it'd open up the way for more to do so. And this is what a domino effect is by definition.

What do you think would happen if a Eurozone state got away from houndreads of billions in debt by exiting the monetary zone, stopping austerity and starting to print money? While there's no guarantee that this could work, there's a strong sense of euro skepticism brewing in Europe. And the evidence to back up arguements against the euro just keep growing. Just look at Wolfgang Schauble favoring a two speed eurozone while smaller countries in the euro suffer low growth rates. And at the same time, Romania ans Poland, that to this day halt adoption of the Euro, have some of the highest growth rates in Europe.

Keeping Greece's banking system alive is part of an effort to keep the Euro alive.

All your words are mainly words of Varoufakis or Tsipras who during the 6 months in head of Greece (since the day of capitulation) wanted (with such "arguments") to extort as much as it was possible from the Eurozone. Because they are never saturated with the money of the others, stealing the money of the others and to not pay the debt to the owners. Naturally using all the possible various extortions. Are even words of other leaders but that have nothing to do with your big word about the catastrophe of all the world if Greece will go out of Eurozone. I don't want to make comment myself about this absurdity but i will give you (and everyone who want to read neutral and authoritative thoughts) a link to read in order that you have sweet dreams even if Greece decide to go tomorrow out of Eurozone (impossible thing because they don't have the balls to do such thing, otherwise why Tsipras accepted an agreement more much severe than that denied by more than 60% of the glorious Greeks under the request of Tsipras itself): http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2015/business/international/greece-debt-crisis-euro.html?_r=0

I can assure you that the exit of Greece out of Eurozone can't touch no one of countries of this zone. The only fear is that the case of Greece can increase the amount of people who show skepticism versus the Eurozone. But as about the financial risk no one of the Eurozone countries will suffer. The weight of economy of Greece in the overall economy of Euroze is only 2.4%. See here: https://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/prices/hicp/html/hicp_economic_activities_inw_000000.4.U2W.en.html

Thinking that this percentage can destroy the Eurozone it is like to tell that a mouse can destroy a building with 5 floors. Greece must be grateful to Hollande which obligated Merkel to stay within a room with Tsipras and him with another that I don't remember who is, and at him's words: we will not go out of this room without having an agreement. Otherwise Greece was already out of Eurozone.

There are to many the articles about the go out of Greece from eurozone. Everyone believe what he want. But if the words of the above poster it would be possible and true Tsipras and Varoufakis, knowing this possibility, would not accepted never any kind of agreement except the completion of their requests. But the facts show the opposite. They signed an agreement much more severe than that denied by more than 60% of the Greeks invited to do so by Tsipras himself (the author of the signing of the first one) only some days before. Why? It will be this possible if they know and were sure about the the power of their going out of the Eurozone? Everyone can understand easy the why.

Anyhow this don't change any thing about the Greece, their shameful story about the repetition of these shameful situations - which, as it is told in one of my above post, are the normal story of them for 50% of the time in which they are created as a country - their habitue to create wealth with the money of the others and then deny the money to the owners, and most of all their inability to govern the country like a normal other country. Any other word told can't change this big story of this big country and big people guided by big leaders. Since I have as habit to write with facts and not only with words I am re giving again my above link which confirms all my above words: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/a-brief-history-of-financial-crises-in-greece-214114194.html
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Proposes Jail Sentence for Bitcoin Activities on: November 02, 2015, 04:39:41 PM
A fast view of this news make understand to everyone the fear that the economy of Russia have from bitcoin. This a clear sign of the crisis that this economy are passe. They have fear from bitcoin because have fear that most of the Russian goes to the bitcoin because of not believe in their national currency. This it would be the end for the Russian economy which even such kind of actions it is in serious difficulties after the international sanctions. This situation has one and only one name, Putin. With its delirium of greatness, with his authoritarianism in guiding its Government, with his stupidity in doing its foreign policy, with his myopia in using the force outside its national borders or stealing territory or create or support irredentism to, or in the other independents countries near Russia has bring all this situation for one country which, under another normal and fair leadership, would be one of the most prosperous and developed in the world.

Putin should be studying a plan to expand the size of national jails if he wants to start putting everyone involved on Bitcoin on there because he's going to run out of space.

This picture is very revealing. Since the ban was set, the market on BTC/rubble is still growing at a steady pace. The smart Russians don't want to miss on the last opportunities to get some cheap coins no matter what Putin says about it.

It is normal. I know this chart from this link: http://coin.dance/charts. Everyone who can do the right thing whatever telling the others, Putin or its Government. As for the jail if Putin decide something I'm fear that someone may be made as example. He don't care about nothing when it is in risk him's authority as an absolute leader. It is really to have fear.
1129  Economy / Economics / Re: Forgoten Greece on: November 02, 2015, 04:25:37 PM
Greece will receive free cash from largest EU countries, and everything will be ok  Grin Germany and France like to give free cash to another EU countries, just for support, and I think the main free european cash faucet is Germany  Grin

Sure it is Germany. Go in Germany and ask about Greeks. Then hear their opinions about them. Ask Angela Merkel about those and ask why wanted to go out of the summit in which would be taken the decisions about the future of the Greece. Ask Angela Merkel about the why of the more severe agreement signed by all the countries and naturally the Greece (because have not the balls to tell no) compared to the one which would be signed before the referendum made in Greece about this agreement and told "no" by 60% of the Greeks (under the invitation to do so by the "strong" Tsipras). Ask the why of the condition put by the Europeans to Tsipras about the creation by the Greek state of assets worth an estimated €50 billion which will be put in a special fund to help finance banks and repay Greece’s creditors (sign of the clear "credibility" and "trust" against this state and its Government), ask about the giving of the money with dropper and only after every single and decided reform by the Europeans (another sign this of "credibility" and "trust" versus this country and its Government); reforms which the Governments of Greeks were committed to realize every time asked money since 2010.

If you want more about the story of the Greeks and their desire to create wealth with the money of the others you can read the below link. You will learn that is the 6th time in which Greeks are in this situation since are created as a country and that Greece has spent 90 years of its 194 years as a country in default or debt restructuring. This is nearly 50% of all this existence as a independent country. Half of its life as a country Greeks were in default or in debt restructuring. A glorious story in the modern world.

At the end don't forget to make another post like the above and to make much more grin. Will make you and the Greeks more happy and will resolve their problems.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/a-brief-history-of-financial-crises-in-greece-214114194.html

Ah forget... Do a search in internet and will find to much love for Greeks and their leadership.

Who told you the part in bold and in red? Varoufakis or Tsipras? Who are the Greeks to cause the destroy of all the world? All these words make me suffer for the continuous help given to a people and a Government who think that are the center of the world where are only the sh...t of it. Able to create only mess, to not work, to live and have profit from the work of the others, to think that the others have as a duty to give them money without any condition, to have the right to use that money in the way they want (for example to go every night in bouzuq, to go for vacation at least two times within a year and to do other "important" things - I don't want to repeat myself), to not work and to have money for this not work and at the end to have the right to decide if to give back the money to the owners or not (naturally has chosen the "not" because the others have the duty to work even for those).

I think that they must be leaved in their destiny in order that finally understand what does it mean to be able to feed themselves as every country try to do.

Monthly volume record highs were achieved in 4 of the 7 exchanges that work with Brazilian Reais.

These data and values are the most significant facts that show the importance or regulation of bitcoin within a country and the power that this regulation have in the spread and the use of bitcoin in that country where is regulated. The above data must make to think every lawmaker in every country which hesitates in making the needed actions to regulate bitcoin in him's country and every bitcoiner here in bitcointalk which is against the regulation giving as reason of him's behavior the most various fears about its privacy or other kind of fears.
1132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seperate bitcoin from the internet (in the long term) on: November 02, 2015, 01:05:35 PM
Right now, if the internet were to go down, bitcoin would (for the most part) go down with it.

Bitcoin however, can be separated from the internet, and we should probably make a safety net for it.

The next major war will probably involve a lot of cyberwar, and big nations will likely cut of internet of other nations for tactical reasons. For this reason, some organizations have set up their own internet, independently.

Having our nodes interconnected with each other, making our own internet would give many advantages, redundancy only being one of them.

Of course, such a thing has to be decentralized so it would need to be a project driven by the bitcoin community itself, and not a single entity.

If it will be only for the blockchain and the new net will be available and accessible in equal way in all the world it will be a good choice. If the same thing it will be applied in the internet I  think that it will be a stupid thing. If every entity or country will have their net the information that everyone will have will be much less than the previous one, the connection between people in two other countries will be more difficult to be realized or even impossible and so on. The world is going toward the integration and the separation. The separation bring only slowdown of development and differentiation. This model it is applied by Kim Jung-Un actually creating an internal internet within the North Korea to separate its people from the rest of the world and, in this way, to control everything they can have from such kind of internet. I thing that this behavior and action of Kim Jong-Un cannot be the example to follow by no one.

Well, I'm only offering examples.
The only ones I would trust are virwox.com or coinbase.com. Maybe a few others.
It's easy to buy btc if you just search.

Good. Both the above showed in your second post are ok. Credible and tried even by me. But it will be better to take away the sites which are not used by yourself. If you give help that help must be secure and not only various things found in internet and added in your post without even the minimum personal experience with those. The people read your post and believe that everything there must be credible and consequence of your personal experience. Or at least provable by the others which gave good feedback about those. I haven't hear or read nothing about coinchimp.com. But my personal opinion is: not credible.

Are your sure about the security in changing money in this site: https://coinchimp.com/

I had an account time ago and apart the fact that the design is terrible and at all professional I had to many difficulties to enter after opening an account and had any answer from their support about something asked to them?

So my questions is: you are making publicity to them (an unknown site). Have you used this site before putting their link here? Offer you warranty about it (that kind of warranty which can be offered from someone which had as first post the above post)?

Or you entered here in bitcointalk only to made hidden publicity to this site and to cover it with to many other words and sites?
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't understand why banks and companies are hyping "blockchain" on: November 02, 2015, 09:54:18 AM
I've read literally dozens of articles on Coindesk, Bitcoinmagazine, and other Bitcoin-related sites and they are inundated with articles about how X bank wants to start using blockchain technology.

But in all of those articles I couldn't find a decent explanation as to why a bank would want to use their own blockchain instead of using Bitcoin. For example, we know that a blockchain is made more secure if more independent nodes are in operation. So does the bank plan on setting up lots of their own nodes for their own blockchain, and/or making any person who wants to use their services do so through the person's own node? Neither of those sound like a good plan, but in all that I've read, nobody has explained why/how a bank would secure and use their own blockchain.

I'd appreciate anyone's answer, or a link to an article that explains this.

The reason is very easy to explain and to be understood. Blockchain is the materialization of the connection using the peer to peer technology. The peer to per technology make possible the connection between two computers without the need of servers. So normally every information with all the kind of actual technologies applied to the internet to arrive from an computer (which send it) to another (which must received it) must go first in a server and then at its destination.  With peer to peer go directly from the first one to the second one. Eliminating the server. And the costs needed to realize and paid such kind of service. This mean reduction of costs. To much reduction. This is the power of peer to peer and the blockchain (which is the materialization of peer to peer in the above case). And its application can be in several fields of work of one bank. Especially in the big ones.
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Credit Card on: November 02, 2015, 09:45:59 AM
People are becoming increasingly accustomed to using bank cards. Now, with the increasing penetration of mobile and P2P payment systems, the necessity to use cash is quickly becoming obsolete.
Which do you think is the relation between bitcoin and credit card? Don't you think the use of credit card works as the same way as bitcoin does?

The bitcoin and the credit card can be an fantastic connection but yet early to talk about it. To speak about this connection and to see it true needed that the owner of the credit card have continuous revenues in bitcoin. Such possibility is very rare actually so having a credit card connected with an account with bitcoin could be possible only for very few people. As for the same way of work of the credit card and bitcoin and don't see any change. Maybe are the fees which must be paid with the use of credit card. But if you must buy bitcoin in order to use it we are at the same point. On the other hand there have no meaning to buy bitcoin in order to use those in internet. Have meaning only if yo have revenue in bitcoin. So, as a conclusion, bitcoin normally must be more convenient to use as a money in internet compared with the credit card. And the credit card must be used (connected with an account) only in if the use have revenue in bitcoin.

I found it's very hard to inspire females to use bitcoin.  I tried to invite 20 female friends who are aging from 19 to 45 to use bitcoin by giving them free bitcoin 0.25BTC each.  Only 10 of them accepted.  These ten ladies accept to use bitcoin, but they never talk about bitcoin, they never heard of bitcointalk.org.  What they like to talk are just hairdressing, shopping, keeping fit ...

I'm curious is there any female BitcoinTalker around you?

I had seen posts of females here in bitcointalk. Not few. But not even more. Some. Maybe the "weak sex" have other interests in their life. Maybe their like more the hair saloons than the technology and bitcoins. Who knows? I have no data about this matter and to tell the truth have not seen not only females but even males to have interests for bitcoin in my known people. The only one who talk about bitcoin (sometime boring their who are with me) am only me. Being in such situation cannot tell that females are less interested about bitcoin compared to males. But your case talk clear. Unfortunately the ladies like more other kind of pleasures than bitcoin. But are such pleasures liked by females less enjoyable compared with our (males) desires about bitcoin? I must think well about the answer of this question.  Wink

No way this is good for bitcoin long term.. Sure, some people buying a few bitcoin bumps price, but the effect is so minor to the general negative publicity.

I'd rather see no ransomware floating around.

Sure that is good. Like Silk Road. And like the actual other Silk Roads which are active and not yet closed by the Authorities. I wanted to see you if your son, or daughter, or you wife, or your brother or sister are users of such kind of sites, buy and use the pure drugs sell by those only with bitcoin (and this make good to bitcoin), or are victims of your ransomware and must pay the amount of money equal the value of your home. I want to see you if you will be victim of ransomware and the request made to you put you in a debt which must make you to work all the life to pay the "tax" you will be tighten to pay to the owners of ransmoware. And after all to show you my quoted (your) post in order that you finally understand how idiot you are. Bah, even this word is very few for you...

Very good. The good is being spread in an another new direction. Another unheard before application of peer to peer. The word is spreading. Someone (the most smart ones) hear and go to know. First for the curiosity, then because learn and understand the superiority of this technology. There will be to many others the fields in which it will applied. Slowly but with determined steps the peer to peer is going ahead to take its place in the world of technologies. More to see and more to come. Hope that the superiority of peer to peer helps bitcoin in having its deserved place in the world of currencies.
