1121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is a senile, old Bitch on: February 05, 2024, 09:19:36 AM
American is said to be a great democracy and this is an election year, so it's time for the good citizens of that country to exercise their power of one man one vote. Americans are smart people and after four years they must've known if Biden, is the best man for the job to continue as their president, so I implore them to put all their powers in their votes to determine his fate. So if you call Biden, names, it can be your personal opinion of him, but it's the ballot box that'll determine whether the majority of Americans, share your sentiments about your president, so do the talking by being a patriotic American, and cast your vote.
1122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I actually doing it right? on: February 05, 2024, 08:01:23 AM

I've made almost a hundred posts and yet I have only few merit, what am I doing wrong? Are my posts not quality enough? If yes, please I need corrections and guidelines to grow my account. I truly need words of encouragement and affirmation that am on the right track to enable me step up in the game and I also need you guys to help me point out some of my posts that aren't so good, if there are any, so I can learn from my mistakes and do better.

I understand the feeling of thinking that you're giving your best and not getting the desired result that you expect, it can be discouraging, but that is the more reason why you shouldn't give up but continue pushing and getting better, eventually what you seek will come to you. I'd advise you to focus on learning about Bitcoin and increasing your knowledge here in the forum, because there's so much more to cryptocurrency than having merit and ranking up in the forum. The knowledge and experience that you're gaining from this forum can make you rich, if you apply it in your crypto trading or investment.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: February 05, 2024, 06:57:39 AM
Ethereum is the largest smart contract platform and one of the most successful altcoins with a significant market capitalization. Whether it can be considered the "King of Altcoins" is subjective and dependent on personal opinions.

I would have to say yes, it's a king. But as we know from the history, Ethereum also can we dethroned. Just give it a time.

As Bitcoin, is king of all the cryptocurrencies, Ethereum, is the undisputed second to Bitcoin, and in altcoins category, it's the undeniable king, the fact is still there to proof it, so it's not about personal opinions. Whether Ethereum, can be detroned in the future is where opinions comes in, because there are other too altcoins in the market too, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. We've seen Bitcoin ETF, hopefully in May, we'll see Ethereum, ETF, then other top altcoins can be jostling for positions, after the number 1 king and the number 2 king have passed the hurdle.
1124  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: More BTC...More Crypto on: February 04, 2024, 06:53:51 PM
Thanks for di update of di news, na CBN na dem know wetin de best for dem, and as ordinary Nigerians, we no get much power to question dem. But di ban on our banks dem not to carry out foreign transactions no get anything to do with cryptocurrency, unless say e go increase the awareness of cryptocurrency as a means of international transfer for di country. E go help make di adoption of Bitcoin, for di country to increase because more people go de aware say alternative means de to make transfer wey go guarantee the sender and receiver of di coins privacy from any centralized authority. Hopefully dis ban go affect Bitcoin positively for inside Nigeria.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this Gaming Project ? on: February 04, 2024, 01:18:06 PM
Gaming industries where all doing well over the years and some projects where able to launch good tokens and get them listed which they used the hype to make good profit, but this period their are lot of scam gaming projects which makes me very scared to even think of reading about them talk more of investing my money on those projects because you might invest in them and they will end up failing or using the money they raise for something else and abandon the project. Unless it’s an already existing game industry which is popularly known that decides to launch the token then I can give it a second taught.

To play games online is interesting and fun to pass time with, but to invest in them is a different ball game all together, because of the many scams that are associated with projects in the crypto space, we can't help but be scared so we don't lose our hard earned money. All the projects before their launch looks good, with assuring hypes that they'll enrich their investors, but in the end only very few will live up to their hype. The few people that bought into game tokens that I know didn't give assuring reports about them, they probably bought scam projects, anyway their testimonies didn't encourage me to give game tokens a try.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: The Current World Financial System Is Rule Based Order, The New One Must Not on: February 04, 2024, 11:54:02 AM

But the sad part is not many of them willing to “invest” in me the one who is holding that sacred information.

Macro issue is very complicated with most of you so I should stop here.
If any of you want more information, then please contact me in private as soon as possible before I gone fully offline.

Best Regard,
The Savior Messiah Buddha

The subject of your topic is quite confusing and the content of the topic is likewise confusing to me atleast, could you elaborate more on what you mean by saying that the world financial system is rule based order, the new one does not? It doesn't make any meaning to me, could it be the reason why you asked that you should be contacted in private? It sounds suspicious to me that you should start a confusing thread and ask people that don't understand it to contact you privately, I think that it'll be better to conclude your topic here in the open.
1127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: February 04, 2024, 11:13:50 AM
Not all meme coin are scam but it is obvious that many scammers have hijacked the trend and all they have to do is keep creating new meme coins and launching them to make money from innocent investors that have no experience about the market. Truly they are tarnishing the imagineof cryptocurrency and there is nothing we can do about it unless the government comes in and sanction crypto projects that tend to become rug pull. We just need to be very careful enough so that we are not going to fall Victim to scam projects that will nit last long in the market.

Any market where there is no organized regulations of any sort, where anybody can come in with their products and there is no framework to check whether standards to protect consumers from fakes  are carried out, there you will find a lot of scams. This is why fraudsters will launch scam projects in the crypto market, dupe their investors and get away with it, other scammers will see that scam is lucrative in memecoins and they'll also develop their own scam projects too, hype it and scam uninformed investors. If there's nothing we can do about scam projects in cryptocurrency, then we can only stay ahead by being better informed inorder not to fall victims, therefore every investor that wants to buy new memecoins, should carry out research first, then decide if they still want to go ahead to buy, also to remember to that it's better to invest the amount that they can afford to loose.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 04, 2024, 08:34:21 AM
Gambling for financial gains will be a very big mistake because there is no guarantee of getting steady income from it, and a responsible person with financial obligations can not depend on gambling profit to make ends meet. Gambling should be for fun and whatever outcome that the bet gives must be accepted, because it's based on luck. We should never rely on something that it's earnings are based on luck for our main source of income, that'll be irresponsible act.
1129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terrorism in Africa on: February 04, 2024, 07:58:07 AM
Terrorism is a global threat to peaceful existence, so it's not exclusive to African countries, but the evil is being perpetrated especially in some regions of the world. One fact about terrorism is that there are powerful individuals and organizations that benefits from the killings and destructions by these terrorists, because I know that the arms and amunitions that they use can not be afforded by ordinary people, although I can't think of anything good that they might gain or be advocating for their wicked act. Developed nations like the US and Britain, can fight these criminals but African countries and parts of Asia, that are developing countries, don't have the capacity needed to combat terrorism, coupled with the corruptions in their systems, makes terrorism to be thriving in parts of their counties.
1130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: February 04, 2024, 07:04:48 AM
Merit is not necessary to survive in this forum, what is necessary is to follow the forum rules, which has been provided on this thread, although merit is important if a forum member wants to rank up. A newbie needs to concentrate first on understanding forum rules, learn and increase their knowledge about crypto related matters, this alone might take a considerable time, unless the newbie already has some experience before joining the forum. After this phase then the quality of their posts will attract merit rewards from other members to them, from there it'll be easy to rank up and ultimately they can apply in a signature campaign, where they can earn financial rewards.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How a $112 Million XRP Hack Shook the Crypto World! on: February 04, 2024, 06:31:02 AM
Lol, another proof that XRP is not worth our money. When a co-founder can't keep his coins safe - it means something.

When I read the news I thought exactly the same thing lol

I've never bought XRP and for me it's one of the worst altcoins out there, it's worth absolutely nothing, I find it impressive that it has the current market value... for me it should be worth 0.00 USD.

News of hacks and scams in the crypto industry is now a normal and regular occurrence, and this is affecting the trust of cryptocurrency in general to the world, I'm seriously wondering and hoping if there'll ever be a stop to these hacks, I guess not. The question raised should be a concern to every crypto holder, if a top class crypto holder with with millions of dollars worth, that is supposed to have a strong fireproof security can be hacked, then what is the hope of the ordinary holder? I've read that he freezed the account, good for him, we'll just wait and see how it works out for him, if he can eventually unfreeze the account and recover the stolen coins.
1132  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: No need to change job due to low salary, just add another source. on: February 03, 2024, 08:20:51 PM
I reason wetin you talk, unto say if the income for di job wey you de do no de reach you, instead to leave am, say make you find another hustle join am, afterall a bird at hand na im sure pass. But wetin I go add be say make person no de settle for less, you fit to de manage di job and at di same time de look for a better package elsewhere, instead of to sidon idle, because no food for lazy man. To add another side hustle good but what if di Job wey you de do no give you any chance to do side hustle? You see am say life no balance, because most employers dem go over work you and dem go like to pay you very small salary, if you continue for di job, no hope for a better life and if you leave di job, how you wan take care of your needs. Infact e be like say na crime to de poor, so to get out of dat kind rat race, na to stay for di job and try to learn one skill by fire by force, weda na tech or handwork, sabi am and find your way to an independent better life.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About PI Network trend. Is this coin worth holding? on: February 03, 2024, 06:30:20 PM
You should read this detailed article by Binance as to why the Pi network is a scam. https://www.binance.com/en-IN/feed/post/1088871#

The first red flag for me was mining using a mobile device. The second red flag for me was asking every user to pass KYC. Why does the user need to pass KYC? The last red flag to me is why are they distributing free coins.

I've been hearing about this pi token for a long time now and as you said it has a mining app where people can clicking on mobile phones, I think that it's similar to Ice mining app where the holders clicks the app too, I got bored of clicking on Ice, and left it, I hear that they recently distributed airdrops. Frankly I really don't know what to make of these tokens, I can only say that if anybody finds them profitable to hold, then all the best to them, but I doubt that I'll use my money to buy them, unless I start seeing legit proofs from their investors.
1134  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does a country borrow money from the world bank even when they can afford it on: February 03, 2024, 05:06:20 PM
It's ok for a country to borrow so far they're using it for infrastructural purposes, from my understanding it's not necessary that a country should use the money in their reserve to execute any meaningful projects, because it's good to always have money in reserves, in the case of emergencies. But problems arises when a government will borrow money from world bank for a project, in the end the money will be embezzled by government officials, instead of using it for the purpose that it was borrowed. So the problem is not to have sufficient reserve and borrow for projects, a government can decide not to touch it's money and borrow, problem is corruption, they'll embezzle money borrowed and leave the responsibility of paying back to the next regime.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 03, 2024, 03:29:01 PM
Apologies for taking the focus of Nigeria, versus Angola, match yesterday, from the discussions on the field to the spectators on the seats that were enjoying the match, it was Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate who was in the stadium to support the supper eagles of Nigeria. He made quite a headline for being in Ivory coast, I personally applaud him as a notable personality in Nigeria, for being in the stadium and supporting his country, but I was surprised that some people were criticizing him on social media for being in the match venue live. I really think that it's a motivation for any team if a personality from their country comes to cheer them, the team will not want to let VIP and their country down.

Lookman, is looking to outshine Osihmen, in this tournament.
1136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning comes before earning on: February 03, 2024, 02:18:28 PM
While learning should comes first before earning, newbies nowadays are seeing the opposite way. Instead, their mindset is to make a quick earning out of everything, as majority of them are influenced by these fake crypto influencers that are spread online. It seems that they are not learning in the forum but take the shortcuts due to their high greed, and see them losing in the end.

The moment they lose, that’s when they start learning seriously. Since they don’t want to repeat the same mistakes again, so that’s when they start exploring and studying the forum well and realized that they are doing very wrong in the first place, the reason why they never succeeded but end up committing mistakes and losing their funds.

I think that the feel good information that newbies get from social media sites are more responsible for the impression that they have about crypto trading, they think that it's a get rich quick scheme, where you can come and be making plenty of money everybody. This influencers on YouTube and other sites makes crypto trading look as if it's where you only need a little direction and you can start making money, I guess that some of them will learn from their mistakes and diligently learn about the analysis needed to minimize risks of loses in trading, others will give up and call crypto trading a scam. There's no way to make money that is easy, you'd have to learn what it takes to make money there, no short cut to success.
1137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Herbalists Live Longer than Christains on: February 03, 2024, 12:37:34 PM
I want to appreciate you for taking your time to research your topic and you provided some links to proof your points, but I'd have to say that your research is not accurate, because you tried to stereotype christians that they don't live long because the bible tells them not to discriminate what they eat, that is not true. Read your Bible well and understand why God, said that they should not discriminate and can eat everything that he has created for us as food, the reason was because the Jews, felt that they were better better than others because they don't eat certain food. So a Christian is not obligated to eat everything they see, they can choose to be vegetarians and still please God.

Jesus' lived for 33 years on earth, not forty year, and it has nothing to do with the years of other christians, I've seen many christians who lived to very old age, and many are very old and strong today. So the issue of abusing what we eat by consuming anything eatable without considering the effects on our health has nothing to do with Christianity, it's personal choices.

Do you have any proof that traditionalists don't consume anything other than herbs and vegetables in this age? Anybody can choose a healthy lifestyle, it doesn't matter your religion.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much Did you like this forum on: February 03, 2024, 11:01:56 AM
I always liken this forum to an institution and the very experienced members are the professors, as far as crypto concerns go, I'm always amazed at how easily complex questions are dissected and analyzed to the level and understanding of the person that asked, in the process others that don't know will learn. The forum is very beneficial to members like me, that didn't have any crypto experience before joining this forum, and within then and now I've gained more knowledge that I don't think I'll get from any online courses. Any newbie that joins this forum with the aim of increasing their crypto knowledge is indeed privileged because it's no holds barred for experienced members to teach and direct them to become knowledgeable, and it's free.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP NFT sales in January! on: February 03, 2024, 07:13:05 AM
It seems like some people who have lots of money at their disposal or whales just keep making offers on their own listings. This inflates the price and making it look like some very rich spent a lot of money on the ugly NFT.
I also think it's a form of money laundering by some bad actors. I gave up on NFTs a long time ago.

I try not to worry about some things that doesn't make much sense to me, inasmuch as it's working for others, I'll just stay on the side and observe, so the whole concept of NFT I guess caters mainly for the super rich art collectors or enthusiasts. Except it's for money laundering as some people allege, it really beats me why some people will spend so much money on pieces of arts like the ones that are shared by the OP. They keep the piece probably to resale as an investment, hopefully another Moneybagg collector buys it, I can not liken these arts to gold and Bitcoin, that you can keep and be sure that it's valuable assets.
1140  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Which one dey pain pass? on: February 02, 2024, 05:48:39 PM
No wan wey no go pain di person because na money lose, weda na to pay coins into a wrong wallet or say make your coins disappear for your wallet, you must feel am, so far na money matter, e be like say when you lose your money or wen dem thief am, despite di condition wey surround di disappearance, e go still pain you. My own personal case of losing coins for wallet de a little different from wetin we de discuss here, I no fit to send di coins based on say mistake de for my seed phrase, anyway di coins still de for di wallet, but I no fit to send am, e de very painful. Aldo for di question wey OP ask, na di one wey you make costly mistake go send for wrong address, na im de pain pass, because na negligence and avoidable wey no suppose happen if di sender de careful and vigilant.
