I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?
What are you looking for? long term or short term? if it's long term, then it's not matter if you want to buy now or wait a few days. But if you want a short term profit, then i suggest you wait until the price go down a bit. It's been rising lately and will go down for sure. There's a drop in price about a day ago, that's one of the suitable time to buy bitcoin. |

In term of small transaction or micropayment, bitcoin is almost useless right now. The fee is high compared to the money you send. But if you send a large amount of money, then the fee is small compared to other payment method. The utility is still there, it's up to the user to set the fee but if you want your transaction to be confirmed fast, then high fee is your only choice.

Yes, this is another good news for bitcoin after the one about bitcoin accepted as legal payment in japan. Australia is not the country i expected to accept bitcoin this fast but i don't mind either as more demand is good for bitcoin. I hope with this the demand will continue to increase and bitcoin will become popular in australia.

Why are there so many nonsense posts in this thread and FUD? It's been said time and time again that bounties will be distributed on or around 18th May..What's everyone's problem? Are you all so desperate to dump your bounties or sell your ICO tokens that you can't wait? We are all adults and shouldn't be behaving like 5 year olds. I also have some bounties coming but I wait, like I do in every ICO program. Patience is key and if you want news go to their telegram account. It's been said before DEVS are more active in Telegram than here. I also bought some in the ICO and am not going to feed the whales cheap TAAS either.

It's the same with me although it's different sosial media. When i share some post about blockchain or ongoing ico, some of my friends sometimes ask me what is that etc and i would gladly explain to them. Not all of them serious in learning about bitcoin but i always gladly answer their question. One of them even ask me some point which he didn't understand the next day at college. Now he is earning and using bitcoin and active in this forum aswell.

Arbitrage? never did it with bitcoin but i did it several times with alt. Just make sure that you leave some balance in different exchange and make sure that you do it fast and don't forget about the confirmation time, otherwise when it has been confirmed, the price already the same.

How much bitcoin to be considered "whale" ? I personally don't know any and I don't think any whale would expose themselves, telling people that they hold a lot of bitcoin. It put themselves at risk of being stalked and even robbed of their posession like a lot of things that happen on reddit.

Just see the bitcoin price climbing so high. 1900$ is a very high amount and not many people can now afford to buy a single bitcoin. Also those who are earning bitcoin will now get less bitcoins like before some pay you 10$ it was 0.01 and not it is just 0.005 (same 10$).
In short, Will bitcoin will only be in the hands of rich in near future ?
No, because nobody is forcing you to buy 1 whole bitcoin. You can just buy BTC0,1 or even BTC0,01. So even the poor can buy bitcoin and i will never be out of their reach. Maybe in some years the bitcoin value will increase so much that we will start using satoshi. |

It depends on the situation, if you have a large amount of money to buy bitcoin and plan to hold it at least 2-3 years, then i can say it's worth to buy bitcoin. On the other hand if you only have a little amount of money, it's better to buy alt coin (do your own research) because they are more likely to generate more profit than bitcoin with smaller capital and time frame.

I won't list any alt that already have a high price like ethereum or monero, although it's a good investment, but the return is too low so i prefer to invest on something with low value at the moment with more than 2x ROI opportunity.
