1121  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Developing a Wallet? on: January 13, 2017, 06:56:00 PM
Bitcoin wallets have different characteristics, while basically having the same features. What we need to know to develop a new bitcoin wallet? What do we need technically?

We already have enough desktop wallets for the moment , If you want to build something then I suggest targeting phone and web wallets since we don't have that much and If we do , they definitely need improvements.
Unless you know what you are doing and you have the required years of programming experience and security , Its not really a good idea to stop making a wallet , at least not for public use.
1122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it real? (Need opinion) on: January 13, 2017, 01:49:13 PM
Its clearly fake but I'm more interested in knowing how they got your email in the first place ? I've seen lately some people receiving phishing attempts while they have never used their email in shady websites and that's make me think about the possibility of legit bitcoin services selling our credentials to third parties.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network Alpha Release is Ready for Testing on: January 13, 2017, 12:47:45 PM
Here is the official blog post . I'm really looking forward for the next releases , the good thing that gave me relief was that fact that LN could work even without SegWit so If we ever fail to get it activated , It shouldn't be an issue. having it would make things perfect though.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting bitcoin on: January 13, 2017, 11:31:06 AM
I have noticed that Foldapp came back after shutting down a few months ago. If anyone is interested Its another method for buying Starbucks using bitcoin and by having a 5% discount as well.
I still think that using iPayYou with Starbucks is a better way regardless of the price to show that we actually support what they did for the community.
1125  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gift cards with BTC on: January 13, 2017, 10:29:03 AM
How about person to person exchgange here? Are there no threads that sell gift cards with bitcoin payment? I want to know more about this too and that way it will be more cheaper I think. They would really discount it against it real price.

I can with no doubt trade with users from the forums but there isn't enough sellers and as neochiny said , there is a possibility of scam here. I can't know for sure how legit those cards are and I could get into trouble with time If I use them too much , an escrow won't help as well unless they accept receiving the funds after a period of time from using the card (to see that nothing happens) and In most cases , no one does.
1126  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [AUTOBUY] Bitdefender Internet Security 2017 3 PC 2 YEARS [$4,99] on: January 13, 2017, 09:15:01 AM
I wouldn't trust this post. MadGamer asked WHERE they were obtained from, and you just hurried to a conclusion, assuring him that they were legitimate without any proof. Do you even have any proof?

Keys are probably going to work without issues even though they illegally obtained because BitDefender is known for not doing anything against them AFAIK . I guess you guessed just by the way he answered me. Its not logical for someone to sell keys for 3.99$ while their actual price is 39.99$ on the official BitDefender website anyway.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎄🎄🎄 ChronoBank 🎅🎅🎅 ICO is live! 🎅🎅🎅 2900+ BTC collected 🎄🎄🎄 on: January 13, 2017, 08:46:45 AM
Should we expect seeing a functional wallet to store our TIME tokens once the ICO is finished ? I know the developement speed is based on the money you guys are going to gather and that's why I'm a little afraid , Bitcoin price is decreasing and the amount of USD decreased from 2.9m to 2.2m already now, unless you are paying your developers in BTC directly of course.
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: January 13, 2017, 06:39:03 AM
Its going to take sometime but It definitely will. PayPal have over 188 million users at the moment , each day thousands of accounts are being limited for stupid reasons and people have the possibility to switch to something more convenient where their money is safe , that would be bitcoin. If PayPal continue being crappy with their customers and don't really care then It could be on our favor.
1129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tor Bitcoin... on: January 13, 2017, 06:02:46 AM

Thank you very much for your help and good advice! Even thinking about it but I was a little curiosity and drive the money ... Maybe it is a small amount of it trying because you never know if you have not tried it ... Thank you for your response (Zend7)!    Wink Wink Smiley

Its your money but I wouldn't recommend trying , not even a small amount. I searched about the website and I couldn't find anything about it ,literally nothing, so Its definitely not a good sign I would stay a way from it If I were you.
If you want to check a website then you should see DeepDotWeb as Its the most reliable source for this kind of stuff.
1130  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: January 12, 2017, 02:52:41 PM
I see there's a 2.5k lifetime load limit for unverified clients, that means after I load 2500 USD/EUR the card becomes useless, right?

Can I order multiple cards than, e.g. after the card lifetime limit is over, order a new card and so on?

Yes you should be able to as far as I know but there is a limit of cards to order , Its impossible to order an unlimited amount of them. If its the same thing as before It should be 1 card from each currency USD,GBP,EUR otherwise It should be up to two cards per currency as I don't remember correctly.
1131  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: January 12, 2017, 02:03:12 PM
With bitcoin's.price falling, do you regret not having cashed out earlier? Bitcoin debit cards that can be loaded with money instead of always exchanging bitcoins in real time give you a chance to cash out bitcoins at whatever price suits your needs. Did you take advantage of the recent rally using a bitcoin debit card?

I definitely regret for not doing that but even If I wanted to , I couldn't do much as my country is restricted in almost every bitcoin debit card service and without verifying my ID or income , the limits would be too small for making any profit .
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: January 12, 2017, 11:41:15 AM
Its being long time since I didn't read news about the project , I checked both the /r/ICONOMI and their Medium blog and I can't find anything as well. I know the launch has been delayed but did they give any estimated date ? and are we able to get the early access or not yet because last time I asked for one through the Google Forms Page but never received it while Jani said that we should receive one in the email.
1133  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.bitpanda.com - Official BitPanda Support Thread on: January 12, 2017, 08:32:25 AM
Why the hell did you reset passwords on 29.12.2016? What's the policy behind that? I can not imagine any situation where this adds additional security. Nothing in the FAQ. Is this really true? Please comment

I don't mean to spread panic or anything but I guess they had some issues or they got their servers compromised somehow. If you look at their facebook page , you will see "We are back online and fully operational. Sorry for the downtime." I doubt they will keep it a secret though , they probably only wanted to make sure that the security is good.
1134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Other Crypto currencies withdawn to a Bitcoin address on: January 12, 2017, 08:05:46 AM
Nothing will be converted to anything , If your wallet is good enough then you won't be able to send the dogecoin in the first place.
Its worth mentioning that some coins (Omni) are based on the bitcoin-blockchain though , which means there is the possibility of sending them to a bitcoin address but you will need a wallet like Omniwallet to actually see them but nothing is going to be converted your address will be holding both the altcoin and bitcoin in the same time.
1135  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {Selling} - $15 Starbucks Gift Card for $6 - ❄️❄️❄️❄️☆★☆★☆★ on: January 12, 2017, 07:32:44 AM
Do you still have these? How were these obtained?

I am curious to know about this as well. While I have bought from you before, I have never asked you this. Also please reply to me PM when you are online again.

Last time sofia26 connected was December 29, 2015 so I doubt you will get any of your questions answered at this point.
I think that almost everyone saw something phishy about these deals but decided to take the risk as they was going to redeem the cards fast , looking at the prices and the discounts I'd say that they are carded since If there were legit , he could sell them at a higher price without having any trouble.
1136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gift cards with BTC on: January 12, 2017, 06:58:42 AM
You can check this website http://bitcoin.directory/ for lists of every shop that accept bitcoin, you can see the list of gift cards shop at here http://bitcoin.directory/gift-card. Of course, i'm sure they don't add scam website to their lists.
But if you're not satisfied with their lists, you can try this website https://yestobitcoins.com/. I'm using their service regularly and they send it less than 24 hours. The rate is quite good, i pay $52.5 for $50 gift card.

Its definitely the most expensive service that I've seen until now , I could simply buy from other services that way and It would be for 1:1 rates or even for a discount or some points to buy later more like gyft is doing. I checked bitcoin.directory and most of them seem to be targeting specific countries instead of giving worldwide services.

If you want to use starbucks service by bitcoins, than you don't nees giftcard because now they accept bitcoin payments but for this you need coffee.foldapp.com and payments are instantly.
If you want to buy coupons with discount price, than it's possible but these coupons aren't discounted more than 10% and it's also hard to find.

I know about the new feature as I read about it a few days back but I wanted a service that sell almost all gift cards at the same time while coffee.foldapp.com is not selling gift cards but instead allow you directly buy with giving you a small discount (5%).

1138  Economy / Services / Re: How to start earning from signatures? on: January 11, 2017, 07:56:00 AM
On bitcointalk , we have a list with all Signature Campaigns . All details should be found there including the payout and the rates for each rank. I doubt this your main account as It got registered today and you already know signature campaigns , but each rank has It payment rates and for the moment campaigns are not recruiting newbies but If you have a higher rank you could enroll into one by applying into their thread and wait for acceptance .
They pay different rates for different ranks because each rank have limits on their signature such as having links , colors , background etc... and the higher rank you are the more visible the sig will be more visible and advertising will be better.
1139  Other / Meta / Re: Girlbtc.com spamming the forum on: January 10, 2017, 06:18:45 PM
Its been almost two weeks since I didn't see any of his posts , should I close this thread or leave it open In case someone decide to report his posts again ? the question is for Lauda or any other moderator.
1140  Other / Meta / Re: Speculation section troll back at it under different guise on: January 09, 2017, 06:20:37 PM
Moderators are doing a very good job catching them and I guess they are using Patrol to catch these spammy trolls and bots. If the threads are not taken down after sometime then simply report them and they will be taken care of. Speculation section is full of bots that spread FUD all the time and shouldn't be taken seriously by the readers.
