Litecoin and dogecoin
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 10, 2017, 06:24:30 AM
Litecoin is one of those few coins that stays away from hype and just keeps chugging along. No hacks, No drama just slow and steady development - i like that.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum future on: January 10, 2017, 06:21:55 AM
if they didn't get rich from it  Embarrassed

How dare anyone prosper!

If I can't have it, nobody can!

There is nothing wrong with someone becoming rich from a successful endeavour. However when a project gets hacked and peoples investment stolen then you have to ask whether it is ethical for someone to profit off said project.

Anyone who buys into this shit deserves to lose their money
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holyshit! HUGE Litecoin news: Segwit & more updates to be deployed Jan 1st! on: December 21, 2016, 03:31:03 AM
Litecoin is coming back in a big way i think
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did Ethereum suffer from DoS but Bitcoin not? on: December 07, 2016, 12:23:49 AM
Bitcoin has a lot of DDOS protection code implemented by satoshi back in 2010. Since eth is not forked from bitcoin it does not have the same protection. Still bitcoin is Ddosed every now and then but nowhere as frequently as eth...
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bo Shen hacked? ETH, REP sold on poloniex? on: December 07, 2016, 12:21:30 AM
Sure rewrite the blockchain....nothing wrong with that right?
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: December 07, 2016, 12:19:45 AM
It's not true. PEERCOIN is sleeping giant!!!  You will see. Grin

Could be. Once upon a time peercoin was $8 and the third largest marketcap in crypto.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: December 07, 2016, 12:14:58 AM
I think a lot of people will be caught by surprise when litecoin does pump. After block halving which happened last year and increasing flow of money into the coin the price will move very quickly. Once litecoin gets its development into line the price will follow automatically.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The return of litecoin on: December 05, 2016, 08:34:13 AM
Sigh....it is obvious some people take one look at litecoin and say "out of date coin". This is partially true, litecoin does not have smart contracts, confidential transactions or any other modern tech for that matter. However there is more to a coin than just its tech, a coin should have a proven track record along with a community of interested people who strive to make the coin better because they want to see it succeed not because they want to reap an instant reward.

If eth price dropped to $0.10 tomorrow how many people would still support it?  Would vitalik stick around?

The point i am trying to make is that intrinsic value has to be achieved before monetary value is achieved. Bitcoin was worthless for over a year while it build up its intrinsic value, only then did it gain value in terms of fiat. Many coins nowadays try to run before they can walk and they fall over just like what is happening with eth at the moment. Many people did not buy into eth because they wanted to make smart contracts but because they wanted to make money. This will result in nothing but a price decrease in the long run as there is no real adoption. Compare this to something like bitcoin or litecoin. People mostly buy into these coins to use which will help the price long term as there is real adoption.

Overall i think smart contracts, assets and all these tech advancements will be merged onto litecoin or bitcoin themselves in the long run. In crypto you CAN teach a old dog new tricks.

Anyways the writing is on the wall and it is up to people to draw their own conclusions.

Eth shills nowhere to be seen since their overvalued shitcoin is dying  Cool
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were a developer. What would you do to make money? on: December 05, 2016, 02:36:51 AM
I would not enter crypto development for the sole purpose of making money. However if i were to launch a coin i would compete fairly to mine coins at the early stages and hope they have value down the line.
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The return of litecoin on: December 05, 2016, 02:34:09 AM
$20 LTC by December 2017 - 500% profit if you get in now
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / The return of litecoin on: December 05, 2016, 02:33:46 AM
2017 will be the year of litecoin making its comeback as altcoin king. Development has picked up, price is ready to explode with lots of accumulation happening at the moment and eth is dying.

Buy litecoin and hold before 2017 starts. Good things come to those who wait!
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - MINE FOR MEDICINE- PHASE 2.0 on: November 30, 2016, 04:53:43 AM
Next meeting? Also still waiting on loyalty payout for a couple of months now. Has it been cancelled?
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moment of silence for Ethereum please.... on: November 30, 2016, 04:50:45 AM
Eth for the longest time has been overvalued. No dapps, blockchain that hardforks every month and gross mismanagement pretty much sum it up. Why would someone pay $10 for something so broken? I think eth is going back to its launch price of $0.40 or so. If the devs get their shit together it may come back to $10 or so in the future but honestly i think it is a dead project at this point. If you want smart contracts you are better off looking into rootstock and counterparty.

Also something i have realised about eth shills, whenever positive news comes out they distance themselves from bitcoin and claim they are the next best thing. However when something goes wrong they are quick to point out bitcoins flaws like they are even on the same level as bitcoin. Satoshi was/is a genius, vitalik is a clueless programmer who has no long term vision heck he does not even understand what a blockchain stands for. Perhaps the guy who spent 10k btc on pizza should request bitcoin be hard forked so he gets his coins back lol.

Stay away from eth unless you want to burn your money. You have been warned.

If you want to "sweep" your bitcoin core wallet into counterparty the best way to do it is to export your private key and import it into counterparty
