Liverpool have almost officially been out of the Champions League next season if they can not win it. They have 2 goals ahead the Leipzig after the first leg and might go to the next round. To win Champions Leauge, Bayern Munich and Manchester City are one of big opponents for The Kop.

Klopp is right that Liverpool can not bet all for Champions League as he knows how hard to win it.
urgen Klopp says Liverpool will not sacrifice Premier League games to concentrate on Champions League

https://www.premierleague.com/tables
What exactly is he trying to sacrifice again?
They will be very difficult to get back into the top 4 of the standing. Liverpool have dropped quite a number of point in the Premier League and they are currently 8th in the standing. Meanwhile, it is likely they will also be in 9th place if Aston Villa win. Without a focus on the Champions League, maybe we won't see them there next season.

My predictions for them were far from expectations. To be in the top 4 alone is very difficult, especially to be a winner of the Premier League is very unlikely to happen. Their enthusiasm at the beginning disappeared very quickly. I was initially very optimistic about supporting Liverpool with the way he played at the beginning. But getting to the end, it can't be expected. I'm sure they won't even play in the Champions League next season. Their score is still very low and Liverpool's opponents have a better strategy than them.

They are not coerced to corrupt because those corrupt officials only offer them the money and obey what they want. The decision will be up to the players, but the players can get tempt because of big money offered to them. Although that money is not too big to compare to the corrupt officials, that is big money for the players, and maybe that money will be bigger than what they got from their payment.

They are not forced, but if they don't comply, sometimes their careers are played by the corruptors.  Because by having money they use all means to achieve their goals.  So sometimes, like it or not, the players accept corruption.  Those who don't want their careers to be ruined should resort to such dirty things.

The unexpected defeat of Manchester City surprised me very much.

Wel... They can't win forever, it was expected that at any moment they wouldn't win. Of course, I also hoped that "no-win" would be a draw, not a defeat with two goals difference.

At least, City can say that they lost to a strong team that they're second on the table.
City is 11 points ahead, as long as the players' morale is not affected, they can still win.
Yes, as long as Man City players are not affected by yesterday's defeat, then I am also sure that City's victory will become clearer.  Man United are still lucky enough to win that match and I think it will end in a draw.  Whatever the story, I'm still betting on City's victory in the Premier League.  Only a few games to go, then Man City will definitely win.

Unbelievable that Liverpool want a to go a six straight home defeat, at half time Fulham is ahead of the by a goal, I think Fulham had the better chances than Liverpool in the first half, and if they had been confident/skilled they should be ahead than just a single goal, from klopp's starting line up I think that was where Liverpool mistakes started today.

While everyone is expecting with confidence that Liverpool will win against Fulham the facts are completely reversed.  Liverpool's game really doesn't have the slightest bit of enthusiasm, the lack of attacking and underestimating the opponent makes them unable to score a single goal until 60 minutes walk.  Anyone who bet on Liverpool today is very sad, the team that is not expected to produce good results.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: March 07, 2021, 02:44:05 PM
I remember that is what I did before. I have been inviting by my friend to place a bet on the local bookmarked. I said that I don't know what team I need to select, but my friend insists on picking randomly on that team. So I look at the lists, and I select the team that I feel I am familiar with and place on that bet.

I don't take the result seriously as I don't have a passion for betting on that team, but because my friend invites me, I think that will be okay for me. After all, that is a $5 bet on that night, and I lose that money hahah. But my friend takes the winning, and he buys foods and drinks for the other friends who don't join us.

Gambling is all about increasing your odds of winning, unless you gamble out of boredom and don't care about the money. Knowing the spot, he teams and their past performance and other small things like player transfers, increases your odds. Sure there are people who rely on predictions and follow the way of more experienced gamblers and there's nothing bad in that. Some people bet on sports they never watch, which for me is strange, but if they like it it's all good.

At first I wasn't much different from him no matter how good the a b or c team was, I never even watched any of the teams.  And it's true the fact that I've never won at a gamble that I don't recognize my choice.  And as time went by, I started studying the teams I bet on because besides gambling entertained me, I was also able to earn more than I risked.  Different goals sometimes lead people to have different approaches to gambling.  So it comes back to the choice of each.

I have a negative attitude towards corruption because it makes the gap between the rich and the poor bigger and bigger. I do not remember who said this, but I remember this phrase very well: " Almost every state has corruption and if there is no corruption then it makes no sense to live and develop in this state. "

I agree if you said that every state has corruption. But if because there is no corruption then it makes no sense to live and develop in the state, that's so weird phrase. Corruption makes every people in the state can't get the same chance to develop, someone who is lucky because was born in a rich family and has the ability to do corruption certainly has a bigger chance to live and develop in the state than a poor guy. So, Corruption is only the biggest obstacle in the state for solving every problem that happens in society.

Pep Guardiola will continue to be an admirer of Jack Grealish because there is no chance for Jack to enter the city seeing that aston villa still wants to keep him.  If there is an opportunity then Man City will compete with Man United who have planned to buy Jack.  However, it will be very hard for Pep because of the fact that Jack deserves to be admired by many clubs for his abilities as a defender.  My guess is that Aston won't be that easy to let go of their best midfielder for a rival club.
You are forgetting how much money City has, and how much they will make as well, of course this covid season prevented them making more because of fans not being in the stadiums, but they are still going to be the champions of the league that sells to nearly 100 nations, hence I think it is going to be obvious that they are going to be even richer than today.

So, if they want to get Jack, they can get Jack, obviously they wouldn't want to overpay him, who would want that, but they can offer Villa 200 million pounds if they want to, not like they would because he doesn't worth that much, but they "can" that's the secret word here. It means Villa and City needs to reach to a deal where Villa would finally give in and sell, and City wouldn't be screwed which I think may happen, it all depends on Jack pressuring the team to move if he wants to, one sentence would be enough "either sell me or I will not play anymore" and he will be gone.

Thats true, City has a lot of money and could make a high bid for Jeck. However, Aston also won't be that easy to let Jack go to another club. And the interests of both will not give Pep the new player he has admired for a long time. How long will it take Pep to get him? No one knows when that happened. And City won't be that easy to get Jeck even though they have a lot of money.

85 minute passed and the score was still 1-1. However, it is unfortunate that Burnley had to lose one of his players due to a red card. As I said before that it is not easy for Arsenal to win the match vs Burnley, it will be a draw. A few minute remaining now and Arsenal have few chance.

*edit, waw, the red card was canceled.

Actually, there are many opportunities for Arsenal, but bad luck has happened several shots on target are always not a goal, even I am a little disappointed why Arsenal are like this, my bet should win if you win. Shit

I thought after yesterday's win with Leicester it could bring Arsenal better in the following games but for real Arsenal is still difficult to face some other teams, I think it's still not good at securing positions for a few games next season.

Arsenal's victory against Leicester made this team look to underestimate Burnley, so they were unable to bring another victory. Yesterday's match also seemed immeasurable and their attack strategy was still very weak. If they were able to be more aggressive in attacking and able to execute it better then victory might have been achieved. But this is much better than their first meeting, Arsenal is currently still drawing with Burnley and has not lost like yesterday.

Liverpool's performance thi season is far from what many people predict. I don't think they will be out of the top 4, considering their performance last season was so great. Meanwhile, at this time, they were struggling to win. With a few games to go, if Liverpool lose 2-4 matces, it can be sign if there will be no chance for the reds to go to UCL next season. maybe even be absent at UEL.

Basically Liverpool started this season well, they were on top of the standings for several weeks. Their bad form started since January imho, they started to lose some crucial points although they play against mediocre teams only. Now they are on 7th position, they can be even down because Tottenham which is on 8th has 1 match more in hand and Aston Villa which is on 8th has 2 matches more in hand. The only way for them to finish on top 4 by the end of the season is by not losing more points in the remaining matches with a hope that other teams (2nd-9th position) lose more points in the remaining matches.

Their spirit at the beginning faded to the end.  They seem unable to maintain the consistency of their victories by continuing to carry out strategies and maneuvers from the players.  As if what was achieved at the beginning has been so satisfying that in the end it is difficult to make it into the top 4.  Liverpool is quite far from my predictions.

Cameras won't help a lot if the intention is really to rig the games, we will only know if we can read the mind of the players. In sports, point shaving is very popular and it's not easy to detect who are doing this among the players.
You are right, let alone there are cameras and even the police watching directly if it is a human being who has no brains, corruption will still occur.  Sport and corruption seem very friendly, and this is happening in my country.  Even this is like a devilish vortex because there are many talented people in my country drowning because of the dark corruption in the world of sports.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is a long-term admirer of Aston Villa and England's 25-year-old midfielder Jack Grealish, but the Premier League leaders are set to focus on signing a deeper-lying midfielder - as well as a striker and left-back - in the summer.

Fees are not really a major problem for huge bettors, they keep their privacy on anonymity, that matters a lot and they can take the expense.

For big bettors, transaction fees are not a problem and I totally agree.  Only we little bettors have thought of all the ways to minimize costs.  They think more about sites that keep their data confidential is the best.  Personal data for big bettors is the most important thing to protect.  For us it is not a problem as long as the transaction fee is small.  Yet what is most valuable is the anonymity of site users.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 03, 2021, 02:11:29 PM
It's about 90% correct, but you still need the luck to be rich/successful. Lots of people really working hard and trying as hard as they can, but their life may or may not change. It depends on luck or religious people often called it "grace."
Maybe I've never been in the phase of what you go through and what you see.  However, my life choices are very simple.  Working hard and working smart will bring you good results.  But if the story is death due to winning the jackpot.  That's too ridiculous, because his life was replaced by a certain amount of money he got from the lottery machine.  I'm not pretending to forbid playing the lottery but don't let the lottery ruin your life.  For those who believe in or not in God, the key to success is hard work and smart work.  Luck is only some percentages.

1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 02, 2021, 05:43:48 PM
So which one do you prefer? (1) Die rich or (2) live poor? This is binary (no cheating).

Personally, I'll rather to choose dying with that amount knowing my love ones will enjoy that huge amount of money, but in the other side, i'll also choose to live to enjoy the rest of my days seeing my kids and my wife contented from what I can provide.
Yes, and then your wife marries another man, and they live happily with your inheritance (for a moment until the money is gone), and then he dumps her.
She now has to take care of your kid alone, work really hard, but it's not enough...

I'd rather live, enjoy what I have even when I'm poor. As a wise man said: "happiness is the state of mind."

Die rich is too generous as an idea.  Sacrifice your life just to give wealth to your family.  I think for life or death matters, I choose to live even in the present condition and try to rise up to escape poverty.  Because for me a poor person is a person who is lacking in trying so that his life never changes.  The results don't betray effort?  why should choose to win the lottery for wealth.  The fact is that the rich people because of the lottery are only 1: 1,000,000,000.  What for?
1137  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: March 02, 2021, 05:27:47 PM
I totally agree with you. I really don't think some people get it, just because we all like Bitcoin and we all are looking for financial freedom don't mean some Hundreds of years well established resources have to die off just to make a point. I don't understand why people will be saying Bitcion will replace Banks, Money Gold and the likes, these are resources that have actual human use, we are not going to mint bitcoin as a replacement for our gold rings, earrings and the likes or generate the power for your homes or fuel for everything that uses fuel. This shouldn't be about replacement but coexistence.

Satoshi wanted to provide an alternative to ordinary people, who were being exploited by the banking sector. I don't think that he ever wanted a complete eradication of the mainstream economy. It is laughable to say that Bitcoin will replace oil and gold. You can say that electricity can replace oil, but how Bitcoin is going to replace it? And gold is being used as a store of value for many thousands of years. Even if Bitcoin becomes hugely successful, why the gold owners should dump their assets?

The OP just wants to make a joke that BTC will replace oil and gold.  Because of its very different nature.  And BTC was created not to replace anything but to provide a solution to human desires that the Central Bank does not want to regulate anymore.  Gold remains a valuable commodity forever and has been proven as well as oil which becomes fuel even though it is starting to be replaced by electricity and so on, but I don't think that BTC will replace all of that.  Too ridiculous.

I guess we must get accustomed at this kind of announcement, as they made clear they are going to pour any cash Flow into their Bitcoin Stash on a monthly basis (look announcement number 6.

I would love to read your post, even though I also recently read their tweets.  You always provide good news related to BTC.  Just yesterday BTC touched the price below 45k USD, now it's starting to rise again towards 50k USD.  The company will continue to exert positive influence on crypto.  I feel enthusiastic about the high prices in the future, but remain alert of price corrections that could occur at any time.
1139  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: March 01, 2021, 01:11:25 PM

One of the major setbacks of bitcoin becoming a worldwide currency is because it is not stable. Let's consider this, if I accept bitcoin as a payment option for my business, and I accept a certain amount coin, say 0.5 which let's say is equivalent to 25 thousand dollars only to realize it's less than that after two weeks, I mean no one wants that
If the volatility is drastically reduced and Bitcoin becomes an almost stable coin, it'll become the world's currency

You have a good point, this is what actually stopping Bitcoin from getting accepted in major payment portal, companies wants to get real time value of what customers have been paid ,so they can cover the cost of their products and services, if the volatility is greatly reduced although not possible, companies are still OK with 3% less after they received it as long as the price will bounce back, in just a few hours or days.

I also saw the same thing, how currency can be accepted around the world if the volatility is very high.  Companies and every individual need a stable currency and how can we make a budget if we use a currency that is so highly volatile.  It would be very difficult for a policy to be made if it was based on a currency like this.  In order to protect the company against price volatility, a hedging strategy was created.  To protect the value that is owned or needed.  Even hedging would be very difficult to use for BTC due to its volatility.
1140  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you trade? on: March 01, 2021, 12:04:59 PM
Combines several techniques.  Because at this time technically it is not enough and we need to look at the sentiment that is in the market.  Even if right now the market looks like it's just going to be sentiment.  And if this continues, it will be very difficult to make a decision because we have to quickly read the situation, we shouldn't be left behind by a single move because the risk can be big losses or big profits.  Then combine it into my ninja way.  lol.
